The driest most tasteless chicken I have ever eaten.. could t even do the taters with flavour bland went to the garbage.

Long time customer that will not return any time soon. The cashier was very nice, made a mistake ringing in my order, over charged me, and fixed everything wonderfully, the lady cooking seemed perturbed by the mistake. When asked if the cook had marked the Cajun or big gold to be able to tell the difference, she scoffed and threw her hands up. Much to my dismay, when I got home and gave the birthday girl her lunch (Cajun) it was the nastiest looking swamp rat of a sandwich we had seen, it seemed like she made it a big gold first, then added the Cajun sauce, trying to pass off her unfixed mistake to paying customers.

Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, one WITHOUT lettuce and pickle, one with one container was marked with a star, I assume to indicate the special order but both had lettuce and pickle on them how does that happen? Dietary restrictions: Does not pay attention to dietary restrictions/requests.

This place is never open even with their posted hours you call and they say theyre closed. They changed their hours. The employees are to lazy to work not to mention the one that answers the phone sounds like a miserable old hag. The foods good if you can get past the dirty floors and the bad service. Its to bad the owner allows that to happen. Unless it is the owner. Kid-friendliness: They arent friendly to anybody so definitely not going to be friendly to kids and the restaurants so dirty youll probably get e coli from the floors

We visited location today. The food was still hot when i got home in frankford. The chicken was crispy but not greasy. Tried the taters poutine for the first time and they were so good. Server was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be making the drive in.

Perfect. If there was a standard recipe for fried chicken, this is it, and its executed perfectly. Moist, tender, crispy, flavourful but not salty, and most importantly, fresh & quality chicken. The sides were equally perfect and tasted homemade. Gotta get taters, which are somewhere between a homefry and potato wedge. Service is fast and friendly. Perfect spot for takeout. You want to be at home in stretchy pants to truly enjoy this meal.

Golden chicken has always been great. Way better than those big franchise chicken places. Always quality food, always cooked fresh and never greasy. Week days at lunch hour and dinner time near end of the week can get busy but they rarely keep you waiting long.

Hardest decision in the plaza , do we eat at golden chicken or Nova Deli .

Sold chicken burger right here. These aren t those ground up chicken patties, this is a legit whole chicken breast where you can see the individual chicken meat fibers (or whatever you call it). Fries are good too

While journeying through Ontario, we stumbled upon this eatery in our quest for quick dining options. Their golden chicken burgers are a true delight, generously filled with tender, oversized chicken breasts. During our subsequent visit to Ontario and Quebec, my wife insisted we return just for these mouthwatering burgers. The service is great and impressively speedy. A definite recommendation for all chicken lovers!

Had a good size order for a small Christmas party Tried to call because I wanted to find out how much and it went straight to voice mail twice Checking there website and seemed fair When I showed up I couldnt believe the prices The order was almost $45 more than there website advertised With half hour to go i placed my order and when we opened the boxes off chicken of 45 pieces 80% of it was legs and wings never again If you want a good size order try and phone them first if they will answer the phone

I m really disappointed you ve increased your price of large poutine from $12 to $18, came to about $60 with tip for 3 of them. Been coming here for years but unfortunately this is too expensive for us now (Visit was Dec 18 2023)

We just had the family meal. Wow the portions were good. Chicken was hot and nicely seasoned. I was impressed and will definitely be back. Tator tots were good. Coleslaw was fresh and tasty. I will be back.

I was in your restaurant on Friday Dec.24 with my daughter. I have never had your chicken before but found it to be very delicious and juicy. There was just enough coating on the chicken to make it crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Your macaroni and coleslaw were also very good. You should think about having another restaurant in Oshawa.

Chicken is good but the ribs were fatty and tough. Should be fall off the bone. And the honey garlic sauce was not cooked into the meat at all just thrown on top. Gross. I salvaged the ribs by washing the sauce off and used a dry rub then bbq them for a hour. Way better.

I tried Golden Chicken in Trenton for the first time today - It was fantastic. Juicy, Tender, makes you want more and I dipped onion rings into the spicy BBQ sauce and it blew my mind. 10/10 highly recommend.

Good food but I never got my salad nor bun with my ribs dinner... So it was a bit much for not getting What was stated on the menu.

Traveled to Trenton for my moms bday especially for the famour taters. Once we got to the park to eat we noticed they had been replaced by plain cubed unseasoned pataos with no more crispy coating or flavour. Was so very disappointed for something we were so looking forward to. Wish we had have been notified prior to ordering.

The chicken and taters here are amazing, I am however very disappointed that I keep coming here and they are out of taters. If the demand is that high, order more from your supplier. The experience that made me post this review was bacause of an early closure. Today was an exceptionally hot day. I loaded the wife and kids in the car and decided to head over. I travelled from Campbellford and upon arrival there was a sign on the door that said closed due to heat. I understand it get hot in a kitchen, thats why I chose not to cook today only to be disappointed....again. oh well I guess kfc gets my business....... again.

First time buyer, The chicken is good, but when I ordered my kid a six piece chicken fingers box for $12.50 and only got 4 pieces he was a little upset. Not to mention My reaction when I noticed I had paid over 3 dollars each for pieces of chicken not much bigger than chicken nuggets. So I had to drive back across town to fix my order. unfortunately that will probably be the first and last time my family orders from Golden chicken Trenton. seems to be very over priced for the quantity and quality. I appreciate them fixing my order but was not at all satisfied with the overall transaction.

The chicken that I received from this place was absolutely delicious. The taters they had were also excellently seasoned. I would definitely stop again at some point.

I think you should be able to place an order for pick up, some people work and don t have time to wait at the store for it to be ready!

Usually have great chicken there but tonight it was HORRIBLE!!!!! It was like there was NO skin there for NO coating. Very disappointed. If I lived in town I would have taken it back.

Wow! Stopped in today for the first time. Expectations were hugely surpassed. I ordered the Big Sandwich and Tater Poutine. Both were hot, lettuce was green and crisp. The gravy is delicious, not over/under spiced. Priced perfect and impressed with the quality. Will be returning very soon. There was a young man at the cash (~2pm today) was friendly, encouraged me to grab a menu and helped pick our order.

I genuinely feel this place has become very overpriced or maybe it always been and I just avoided it for so long... Today I got a big gold sandwich and a poutine with a drink it cost me about 20 bucks!!! The sandwich alone was 12 dollars and for nothing spectacular it was the same as what you would get from Mary browns only worse, the bun was soggy the chicken yes was large however the breading on quite a few places was SO hard it wasnt edible! Such a huge dissapointment for this pregnant mama, then we get to the poutine which was awful, it was cold in some parts and the fries were a very awful texture ! Dissapointing.

There schedule doesnt mean anything, call at 6:15 on a Saturday and apparently they are closed.. I dont think they know what there own hours are. Seems to happen quite frequently.

Online says they are open till 7. I called at 6:12pm. I called 3 times. My fiance decided to call at 6:17pm and they answered saying they were closed. He simply advised they should update their online hours cause it says 7. They hung up. He wasnt rude, no tone. Just letting them know. However this is not the first time where myself, a friend or my spouse has been hung up on. Anytime there has been a slight problem, a question or anything they dont want to respond to theyve hung up. And they will ignore your phone number for the rest of the day. I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt because they do have good food. But the customer service is absolutely disgusting and needs to be reavulated.

Fantastic food. Thus was my first time ordering from them and boy did they deliver. The chicken was juicy and tasty, and the potato salad was the best Ive had from any restaurant. I highly recommend.

Their prices are fair. The serving portions are decent. I like their crispy batter and the spices used. I found it a little bit less salty than KFC but still flavorful. I would rate them as being better than KFC but not quite on par with Mary Browns. I did find the prices better than either KFC or Mary Browns.

If you want GOOD chicken forget KFC and try these mouth watering food.5 *****

Delicious Ribs Edit: I don t know if the managerial team changed , but they are not to be trusted with delivery orders. I live up the street from them and I waited an hour. And nothing. No calls, nobody at my door. So I called them and asked them and they said oh nobody was there . I said so if nobody was there, why didn t anybody call? They took down my phone number, for what? So I go in and they say they ll take money off due to the inconvenience. They took off $3.00 (basically taxes), they don t go based off of store hours either. It says they are open but you drive by and they are closed. This used to be an amazing place last year. I don t know what happened.

Bruh, the chicken here is fire and the gravy is top notch. Whatever the seasoning is on the taters, its top tier.

Only Chicken place that also sells cold chicken. If you try that at other Chicken places you will end up with a piece of chicken covered in cold grease. Nuff said.

Loved having golden chicken and always order from there.Today I placed an order so I could eat before going to work and not pleased at all.Made my order at 3.40 and its now 5.00 and still havent received my order.Tried calling and this has happened on several occasions but all Im getting is the answering machine the past 45 mins.So wont be ordering from there again if its always going to be like this.

Have been going for many years. Love the fingers and taters. Was there friday at 4:45 and there was already a sign on the window, no taters. This is the second time this has happened in the last month. The young girl told me they do not have time to do the potatoes for them. This is your signature item and you do not have time to make them, not acceptable. You have lost a long time customer.

Always love their tatters poutines. Usually smothered in cheese and gravy but was a little displeased tonight. Maybe was just the late hour ( hour before closing) but was not much gravy tonight which never happens. Other then that love the place.

Usually have nothing bad to say about this place, but after having not been there for over a year, the quality has gone severely downhill. Sandwiches are consistently soggy and borderline uneatable, and employees in the back are wiping their noses with their hands before immediately touching food (yes I can see you back there.) Also, Im pretty sure they should be wearing gloves, and hair nets to keep their hair out of my food rather than just a hat, but thats just my opinion.

I ordered the Big Gold. I was really looking forward to this, I passed on Popeyes to try this out. First of all, they put a pickle on the top of my bun and made it super soggy. Second, there was like an ocean of mayonnaise underneath my chicken. Third, the girl behind the order window who was working on the food wasnt wearing gloves, and was continuously whipping her nose and then going back to handling food. Disgusting.
