What a gem this was to find! We came into town to visit the Natural History and RCAF museums. We got hungry and found this place. The service was amazing, and the food was delicious and super fast! The price was only a few dollars more than McDonalds. Well worth it.

I have came here many times and never have i had a complaint. Came with my kids and friend this evening. Servers were distracted. Fries looked as if the fryer hadnt been clean for a while. Didnt receive most our meal, even after reminders. Not impressed by this.

Waitress was very nice and the food was pretty good. Not sure if they had just cleaned the drink or ice machines but my pop tasted like chemicals. Aside from that, no complaints.

I was at mommas a week ago and had breakfast and it was overdone and greasy. The bacon was greasy and foamy looking on the opposite side. The sausages are so overcooked they are tasteless. I have been there the last 3 weeks and it has gone downhill. There were so many flies in there you couldnt even enjoy your meal. Last week after I left I got a pain in my stomach and under my breastbone. When I got home I had diarrhea and a few hours later threw up with severe stomach cramps. I went to the hospital and had tests done as it was by then burning in my stomach and up my esophagus. The doctor booked me for a throat and stomach scope which I had done today. They found no reason that was causing the excessive acid heartburn medical wise. I never had any issues until I ate there that morning, and will not return, although the waitresses are excellent. Too bad as it was always excellent breakfast spot.

This is Trentons best kept secret, delicious food, cooked the way i asked every single time, been there 5x so far, always impressed with the amount of food i get for what i pay, the servers are very courteous, i would not hesitate to reccommend Mommas Diner to friends. I think they should promote more, the food is really great.

Great little diner. I get the stake and eggs and the time. Good service and awesome prices. Foods good too. Only problem is the parking!

The service was above average. She was friendly and we had no issues. The restaurant was dated but clean enough. It would not deter me from returning. The food however would. Some of the dishes were served cold while the ones that were not cold had a very distinct burnt taste. This could be just a one off bad night, but it is doubtful that we will return any time soon.

I had a take out order for 9 dinner plates from this restaurant at Trenton , but unfortunately the quality of the food specially the French fires were very bad even mainly were burned and not fresh at all.

If you dont mind that greasy spoon kind of ador when you walk in. Famous Poutine was OK .Cheese curds and gravy too salty for me. They .used fresh cut fries was good healthy but for poutine makes it soggie !Crispy fries would make it better. Great Italian burger. Patty alittle dry for me. Juicy burger would have made this an Awsome meal. Expecting the sausage was in the burger. Sausage slices added to the burger good idea! Big portion fresh veggies for topping nice dill pickle which I love. Huge burgers for huge appetites. .Yes! Like who makes this? Only here at Mommas Diner!!. To stir up your appetite..Go visit the Canadian Air Force base and the Cantex down the street. Awsome souvenirs. Show your support by visiting at the Museum indoor and out. Absolutely a delicious place to eat. The food was tasty. The portions were ok, could have used more fries Service was awesome even if there was only one waitress at the time. One of the older waitresses is French for those that have a hard time speaking English or just want to practice. Ils ya une serveuse qui parle le français. The fact that the grandkids are most of their dinner is impressive and definitely means it was good . Just a bit pricey dough. I had a hot hamburger w fries with a pop and the grandkids had pancakes with chocolate chips and chocolate milk and it came up to $54 But it was good food.

I came here with my friend a few weeks ago and there was nobody to serve us or show us to a table so we were standing around for a good few minutes awkwardly waiting for someone to seat us. When we finally got to an empty table there were still dishes on it and my friend and I both have physical limitations standing for a long time and the waitress made us get up from the booth to stand somewhere else while all she did was wipe down the table and take two plates away. When we finally ordered our food there were flies (at least 5 of them) flying over our table and into our drinks and landing on our food. It was absolutely disgusting and off-putting. When I tried to pay for the food, I walked up to the cash register and waited about 5 minutes before anyone came to attend to me. I almost walked out without paying because it seems like they didnt care about wanting to take my money. They were not busy at this time and were just stocking shelves, wiping a table, or doing something else entirely. I would not go back to this restaurant based on the poor service and the unhygienic properties.

Price and portions are great and the food quality was exceptional! Service was also great. We came in with 9 people for breakfast, they quickly made up tables. Everything was ordered and served in a timely manner even though it was busy in there. Will definitely be coming back

Ordered some fries and such, when they got to me, there was a large amount of hair in them, made me sick to my stomach. Coffee was good, staff were nice. But cleanliness was lacking.

I always love taking the kids for breakfast here, they have great menu options and offer lunch options for people that cant eat eggs and dont have a taste for breakfast. Food is always cooked perfectly and normally not a long wait. I recommend giving mommas diner a try I think youll be satisfied with their food and service.

Visited from out of town. Comparable dinner in my area is 40% more. Three eggs benedict was delicious and inexpensive. My kids has pancakes and I confirmed (had a bite) they were delicious. One of the best coffees Ive had as well. I will definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: Good size kid portions. One adult in my party had ordered a kids item and it was generous.

At the price point the food was great. Also the quantity, wow, never seen anything like that. No complaints there. The service was extremely though. It took someone a long time to tell us to sit wherever we wanted. The ordering of the food and the food getting to the table took an insane amount of time. The place was almost full, but I have to places where its been full. The other points I would like to point out is that there were a few bugs flying around what looked like wasps or bees. Also, the bathroom needed some tidying up but I also blame the customers for littering paper towels on the bathroom floor. I would recommend this place for the food for sure. Just make sure you have spare time because of the delay.

Place was tidy. Server got our food then some other server seemed to have taken over, not once was our table checked on once the food got delivered. Server came by to ask if my boyfriend wanted more coffee but didnt ask if anyone else needed anything else to drink ,ignoring the fact I didnt eat any of my food. Bacon was completely burnt. Scrambled feta eggs were completely tasteless, home fries completely too far over cooked. My boyfriends eggs that he asked for over easy came to him over hard. Gave it a shot but wont be going back. Dont recommend

Excellent potato soup

Went with my family for breakfast. And they were flies flying around our food and under feet. And on the walls, it was absolutely disgusting. The food wasnt terrible, but flies were nasty. Dont recommend going there unless you want flies flying around your head. Will youre trying to eat and around your food

Typical diner

Breakfast is very decently priced and the pancakes are yummy. I do not recommend getting the roast beef sandwich though as it s very dry, stale and tastes like it s been sitting out of days. Also, the eggs Benedict on peameal bacon made everyone at our table who ordered it sick. The staff are friendly.

Excellent place. Food quality and service is great!

I found the store rather dirty. The seats had many old splashes, the bathroom in general was not super clean plus obvious medium chunks of feces on the toilet brush and holder. The sides of the front counter was dirty. People at the next table barely ate after a bathroom visit. The corners of the floors has dirt packed in them. The high chair was beyond filthy, which is sad. The food was good but I worry about kitchen cleanliness now. You guys have potential to be amazing. Hire a cleaner, its too dirty.

potatoes were uncooked...eggs were overcooked to brown and raw in the middle if that could be done , the toast ,dont get me started ...and the bacon had some odd looking whitish / greyish substance on it and tasted like it got cooked three days earlier....will never go back ...if you want good breakfast goto eggsmart

Were from Toronto, and traveling to Trenton due to delivering at 8 Wing place on Friday Nov. 10. That day, We passed at Mammas and ordered a club sandwich, it was good, but the Caffe was cold and a very small cup without offering more Caffe, We had to go again to Trenton on Monday 13, and passed to have lunch at Mammas again, my husband ordered a Mammas burger, but it was not flavoured, and I ordered a Buffalo sandwich on a Kaiser, the lady brought a chicken wrap, so I told her that I asked a Buffalo sandwich on a Kaiser, but she refuted that she understand wrap, I asked for the menu, I want to be sure that I ordered a Kaiser, but she come back with a quesadilla and I didnt have time to reply because she was rush. I can understand that she couldnt understand me, she should take her time bringing the menu to be sure about my order. And the quesadilla was really not flavoured at all. The other lady, didnt charge for my dinner, but Im very dissatisfied. Because we expected good food and service. We felt discriminated against, due to our accent.

Food was cold. Had chicken Cesar wrap with fries made into poutine cold fries. Ice cold cheese curds and gravy barely warm will not recommend this place again. Seems to have went downhill in the last few months

We really enjoyed our Lunch so much we went back the next day for Dinner. and the weekend after that for breakfast. So based on 3 meals each a total of 6 everything we had was great, Service was great. We will be going back for sure.

Great price for the amount of food you get. It is busy and might have to wait for a table since its a small place, but service is quick so waiting for a table isnt long depending on how many people youre with. Kid-friendliness: They have wooden high chairs for your little ones

I got takeout from here (steak with mashed potatoes, veggies, and a Caesar salad) and it was borderline inedible. I cant speak to what it would be like to done in or have their other food but all of the items I had were not great quality and not great tasting unfortunately. Have it 2 stars for service and Im sure they have some good things but the food I personally had was a 1 star or less. I dont like posting negative reviews and I wish the best for the restaurant but I think it may have been the worst steak I have ever eaten Hoping the feedback will encourage an improvement. Constructive feedback: Steak was too overcooked and bad quality cut. I can overlook a bad cut if the taste is even just ok but it was not. It was somehow too burnt tasting but also very bland. Could benefit from some seasoning (I dont even think there was salt on it) and a sauce. Mashed potatoes and veggies just tasted like they gave me boiled potatoes and veggies. No seasoning (no salt) and I dont think the mashed potatoes had milk, cream, butter or anything but potatoes. They were also rock hard. Caesar salad the dressing was a little weak and the bacon tasted stale and almost like it went bad. Could benefit from fresher ingredients. I really am not trying to be rude I just wanted to put my honest thoughts down. Once again this was takeout so it might be different dine in. Maybe they just were busy or the chef working wasnt up to their usual standard. I cant speak to any of that because this was my first time trying it. The price was amazing though. Maybe stick to breakfast at a place like this!

It was our first time at this location. We were very pleased to find that the food is excellent here. The sausages were the best tasting Ive had in a long time, the potatoes were delicious, and the scrambled eggs were just the way I like them, both dry or omelet like. We will definitely return!
