Great place overall, small place but everyone is always very friendly, they do a great job in focusing on entertainment. Open mic, karaoke, live music. I always have a good time when I pop in. Lots of great local talent on Monday nights during open mic!

Visited The Cardinal for a comedy show last Saturday and we loved the vibe. We didn't order food but enjoyed our drinks while watching the show. We look forward to visiting again.
Went for the first time and honestly don't know if I'll go back. Gives off a dark alleyway type bar. Bartender was handing out free drinks in front of us when we went to order to either a customer who can walk behind the bar or the owner either way very unprofessional. Absolutely no music playing. We didn't even finish our drinks. Very downer feeling vibes from this place.
What a fantastic evening we had at The Cardinal. Kevin Weaver graced the stage and did an amazing John Prine tribute performance. Our waitress was terrific!! We ordered nachos and Pino spritzers to wash them down. The spritzers weren’t on the menu but our waitress got them for us and they were perfect. The Cardinal is an intimate venue to enjoy live music and you have to go here. Washrooms we’re clean and well kept. Bravo Cardinal and bravo Kevin Weaver! We’ll be back for sure! I’d suggest perhaps your food and drink menus need to be online. I couldn’t find them anywhere. We were told by the waitress you’re adding a sangria to your menu. The addition of a white and a red sangria would be great…also perhaps add the spritzers in there too! Also, you may want to consider adding some creative non-alcoholic mixed drinks to your menu.
Seems like an awesome place but not the greatest first experience. The live music started late and several menu items not available. We wanted to give this place 5 stars but this experience wasn't the best. We will definitely return with high hopes for The Cardinal!

Cardinals, okay. Not to impressed as of the size of the place staff is nice. Prices are expensive so if you go there, expect to spend money.

Good food and and entertainment
The service is terrible there was 3 bartenders and the tables werent clean and then our whole table of 12 was cut off for no reason we paid for tickets to the show we will never be back the owner and manager has a attitude towards all customers it was truly disgusting how we were all treated and we all travelled to support our friend that put the show on he has no control of his business the service is terrible with 3 bartenders that dont know how to use the pos system or how to make drinks or how to clean tables we were looked down on soon as we got there cause we were from out of town I suggest to all never go there

The music is exceptional ! Live local music greeted me as I walked into this unique restaurant located in the heart of Trenton Food was great, and the air fryer cooking , Definitely a healthier alternative, was very satisfying Very friendly, helpful staff I will definitely be back !!

My wife and I have been there twice for Monday trivia night. We stayed the second time to listen to Matt Hughes play live music. The staff is amazing.. The music was incredible. Well definitely be back.

The food was amazing but the server had major attitude
Well this was the first and last time that we ll be supporting this establishment unless the service changes. The food and atmosphere was great but the service was unremarkable, a party of six were served individually and one person in the party didn t receive their food until everybody else was finished eating. Then the server started having attitude with us and claiming that we were raising our voices (which we never did) until she did, she didn t come back to see if there was anything else we required and was avoiding eye contact with us until she brought the bill. We were 4 separate bills but she said we requested one bill for the entire table. We definitely won t be back unless the service improves.
The food was great. Wasn t busy but one of our party had her food come well after the rest of us had already finished our meal. When she complained that she didn t want the food anymore because it was too late the server developed an attitude and said she didn t like the tone our friend was using. Again, I stress the food was great just not happy with the attitude of the server.
The food is amazing but the female server was atrocious. One of us (we were a party of 6) did not get her food until everyone else was done. When the server came over with the fries only (really, you couldnt serve the fries at the same time the other customer got hers?) She told the server to take it back. The server started to argue. Then it was said again: take the food back, I dont want it anymore. Just go. The server proceded to tell her that she should watch how she spoke to the server. Like, what???? The manager/owner was apologetic but the damage was done. The server even argued throughout the conversation with the manager. She had major attitude and this business wont last as long as she works there. We wont be back! And the reply is not accurate. It was not a small inconvenience. One person didnt get food at all. That is a big inconvenience to me. The fact that this server had such a big attitude about this is not right. And you dismiss this?
Great service and the food was amazing! Tried the nachos and bacon bison burger. It was soooooo good!

I came from Wasaga Beach because I heard about this amazing new restaurant with live entertainment. The shrimp tacos were amazing.! BeerBattered Blues was playing. They were excellent. The staff were friendly, and Service was prompt. A true gem in the heart of the city It was definitely worth the drive. I will tell my friends about this place.
Wow. Great food! Shrimp tacos were perfect... Toasted tortilla shells and just the right amount of spice and sauce. Coffee was brought to the table in a French press... Nice touch! The service was friendly and attentive. Best dining experience Ive had in a long time!

Visited for the first time last night. Great live music (James Dillon was fantastic), service was top tier, selection of drinks was varied and unique, and the carrot lava cake was delicious.
