Food suggestions by the server were bang on. Wife commented that the French Onion Soup was good, she cannot rank it among the best. Short one star for atmosphere because this particular evening seemed to be a table of university students who could not hold their Shirley Temples and found it necessary to yell across the restaurant at friends.

My wife and I went for supper tonight. The food was excellent, hot and came out fast. Waitress and manager were both friendly and accommodating. They have to shake off the reputation of the last business that was there as it was horrendous. This is all new owners and staff and are doing a great job. We will definitely be back.

We tried this restaurant for the first time last night and were very impressed. Excellent food and our server, Megan, was awesome as well. Three of us had peppercorn steak and one had liver and onions/bacon. It happened to be Margareta night so it was a win, win. We cant wait to go back and try something else on their menu.

Second time there, out of 4 people only 1 finished their meal. Steak was tough, baked potato cold. Lobster linguini was good except for the raw lobster. Would I go back?? NO

Fast service and friendly staff. We all enjoyed our meals. The menu has lots of options to suit your taste. Our group of 6 enjoyed each dish: Bison Burger with garden salad, chicken poutine, buffalo chicken wings, stir fry with shrimp, sauced chicken strips, and butter chicken. Serving sizes were good, we all left satisfied.

Drove past Bricks & Barrel the other day and realized I had never heard of it. My wife and I decided to stop in for lunch today. We had a great experience from start to finish! Our server was Nery and she was fantastic! Lots of tables, TVs and an overall great atmosphere. They have their own brew pilsner for $4 a pint everyday. I tried their Caesar, which was only $7 and came in a big Mason jar. They also do 2 types of their own wine. We were shown the weekend breakfast menu just for future reference and it looked amazing. Prices actually seemed lower than the other local breakfast joints, so we are going to try it this weekend! I just went with the chicken tenders and fries, fries are home cut, by the way! Tenders were meaty and doused in sauce! No complaints! My wife had a wrap with fries and she really enjoyed it. Im happy to find a new local place that we can call our own that has their own beer on tap and the prices are right! Thanks for a great lunc, we will be back this weekend!

We went along with our kids soccer team. The staff did a really good job with this many orders, especially as some people kept arriving late. I had the primavera pasta. It was a good sized serving and it had lots of veggies with a good variety. The kid got the same thing and liked it. Its pretty obvious that the restaurant is a recently renovated Pizza Hut, but to be fair, the food is an improvement. Im not exactly going to make a special trip to Trenton to come back, but if youre in (or from) the area, check it out!

I have changed my review from 2 to 4.5 stars. Recently (Friday 30 Aug) a group of colleagues and I arrived at Bricks and Barrel for a goodbye luncheon. We were seated and brought water immediately. I am thrilled to say that every issue I brought up in my original review (below) was not only addressed but corrected beyond my expectations. I ordered the exact same thing as last time,and I was not disappointed whatsoever. The Vegas Hangover burger ($21) was absolutely amazing. Next time, I would just ask for steak sauce on it, but thats also a personal preference. The egg was fried perfectly, and the meat was bang on. Honestly, I could only eat half of it. It was a massive burger that I happily took home and devoured later in the day. The kettle chips were assigned perfectly cooked. Zero complaints It was still a little cool inside for my liking, but I sleep with a comforter in summer, so dont make any decisions based on that! Thank you for turning it around! Ill be happy to bring my family or come back for a date night. Id like to preface this review by saying I am very passionate about good food. I am almost always an easy going person when dealing with service staff. I know its not an easy job. That said, if you ask my opinion, I am not shy about sharing it. I arrived as part of a group of 5 today (26 Apr 24) for lunch. Our server was very nice, polite. No issues there. The restaurant itself was clean, didnt use the restroom so I cant comment on that. It was, however, freezing cold inside. There were space heaters placed randomly around the dining area. Clientele seemed to be mainly elderly locals when we visited. The menu had multiple comically bad spelling errors (spinch dip, appitizers, etc.), I likely could have overlooked them if there werent so many. I know its nitpicky, but attention to detail is important! I requested a cup of tea (to try to warm up) and never received it. I ordered the Vegas Hangover Burger, but server accidentally ordered me a veggie burger. She corrected it once the error was noticed, but I didnt end up getting my burger until my group was almost finished eating. She was very apologetic and brought the kettle chips I ordered to hold me over until the burger came. I was legitimately excited about this burger when I read the description. Especially with the over easy egg. ...and then I received it. It looked great. Presentation was on point, so stars for that. The bun was not toasted, it was rock hard and felt more dehydrated/stale than anything. I couldnt bite through any part of the lower bun, the steak knife that came with the burger was barely able to cut through the lower bun. The mushrooms were practically raw. I am not sure what the chefs idea of sautéed is, but it made me feel like Inigo Montoya, in that I am not entirely sure that word means what they think it means. The meat itself was flavourless, no seasoning whatsoever. The egg was delicious, and the kettle chips were tasty with some salt and pepper. Could not taste the onion or the chipotle mayo. The staff seemed perplexed that this was my experience, because this is apparently a very popular burger. Perhaps the kitchen was having an off day, or were rushing due to having an incorrect order to begin with. Im willing to give the benefit of the doubt here. If it was not an off day, however, I would genuinely call the palates of their patrons into question. I am actually appalled that I had to pay $21 and change for this travesty of a burger, though. I absolutely do not recommend, and likely will not return unless I have to.

Advertised 16 oz. Prime Rib with shrimp special, $48. Prime rib came with a bone in the middle. If it was coming bone in, it should have been a rib bone, not a big round marrow bone that you would find in a sirloin, which comes from the hind or hip. This was not Prime rib and a third of it was inedible. Food

Had a great first experience at the B&B, surprising our daughter for a 16th bday dinner. Menu has a ton of variety, food was excellent, food was ready in good time and service was friendly. My only issue is Ill have to go back multiple times to have all the things I want to have on the menu. Definitely recommended.

We had a bday party for my granddaughter with roughly 16 people. We all made our order and the delivery wasnt bad . I ordered liver & onions but when I got it. You couldnt cut it very easy. It was tough as shoe leather I couldnt chew it. The waiter was notified of my meal and he told that he would not charge me for my meal. I said. Thank you. After I sat there and watched every one else enjoy there meal. When our bill was given to me I noticed the charge for my meal was not taken off the bill. He said he took 15 % off but couldnt do any better on account the manager wasnt there . I said its not the 22 dollars its the principal I paid for a meal I couldnt eat . I then called the restaraunt the next day and talked to bonnie and told her what happened . I was told that they couldnt reimburse my 22 dollar meal. On account i ate some of the meal. I had one piece that took me forever to chew so she actually lied to me Unreal.. I told her for 22 dollars. You just lost 16 customers and we wont be back. . Just goes to show you how they feel about there customers .Buy a meal cant eat it for the cook messed up and they say this to you. BAD BUISNESS.

This is a nice spot. Their fries are amazing!!! They seems tk have a nice menu and there quite a bit to choose from. We went later in the day and there was no waiting for a table. The only downsides is that there is no lunch menu, and from other reviews their portions are quite large. We ended up ordering from the kids menu and that was filling enough! Definitely recommend this place, just make sure you go on an empty stomach!

The food was okay, not amazing and not bad. The problem was the service. Our server repeatedly forgot what we asked for ie, refills, condiments or sides. She was slow and couldnt remember who ordered what, there were 4 of us. To be honest, I think she was high.

Excellent pasta dishes. Excited to come back and experience more of the menu. Soup was fantastic as well.

Large menu and reasonable prices. There is something for everyone on this menu. Their spin dip is large and deliciously cheesy. Our group tried the steak, Cajun pasta, butter chicken and the pesto wrap. All were great!

Finally got to experience this place and I was thoroughly impressed...thought it was a bit pricey but after my meal I was amazed.....well worth it and after all really isnt that $$$ much, but I do have to note, it was the best burger Ive had in a long time...so flavourful and filling, gravy was awesome as well and definitely plan a return visit

The food was really good. I had brisket on a bun and upgraded my side to a poutine. I also had the apple caramel cheesecake. Everything was delicious. What stood out for me was the gravy. I couldnt figure out exactly what it was about the gravy, but it made my poutine exceptionally good. I guess Ill just have to eat here again to figure it out! Also, the service was perfect. Our server was very not only friendly and attentive; she had a great sense of humour too! Overall, this was a great experience. I look forward to dining here again!

Im 59 yrs old and this is the worst dining experience Ive ever had. Our food arrived cold, waitress was hardly ever around to see if we needed anything. I sent my food back with it being cold. It came back to me hot but was not impressed. Mashed potatoes were lumpy so I didnt eat them. Chicken was ok but underneath all the sauce and Asparagus was the smallest 2 little pieces of chicken Ive seen. We were a party of 9 and they totally forgot the food for 2 of our party. My son ended up canceling his order totally. When the bill finally arrived it was wrong, of course. Never, ever again!

Very poor service time for dinner. Food came out at different times and food was semi cold. I ended up ordering the bison burger and never received it after 45 minutes after reminding the staff twice so I canceled the order. For a new restaurant being in quinte west. Very poor start! My bestie and I had an amazing experience our waitress was great very attentive without being over done the food was incredible different than every other place in town but the food was over the top delishious with every bite our appetizers was cauliflower done with apple and maple sooooo good we changed from steak to the Chicken dinner it was incredible we had no room for dessert not disappointed tho definitely worth 5 stars

Had a fantastic time. They were a bit short staffed and the owner was going from table to table doing everything he could to make sure people were happy. Amazing food and he had us trying items for a new menu free. This man cares about his customer and genuinely cares about the food put in front of you. We even had Amanda our server try to give part of her tip back. The food is amazing. Great flavor great balance to the meal and just delicious. I highly recommend going here if you have a chance. They truly care about their customers and their food. Just an amazing time.

We went there yesterday for a birthday dinner. We waited a long time just to be acknowledged for ordering our drinks. What food did arrive was cold. Two of our group never did get their meal. I had fish and chips. It was so disgusting, cold and soggy. None of us had a good experience. The staff doesnt know what they are doing at all. I will never go back there.

We came here after work for some wings and beers and were absolutely astonished !!!! Ronnie was a tremendous server, completely impressed us all with the hospitality. The kitchen staff were super flexible and were able to accommodate all requests. Can t wait to come back for some great priced food and drinks.

We celebrated our 38th anniversary at the Bricks and Barrel tonight. The food was fantastic and our server Selena did an excellent job. Hi. Just got home from a great experience at B&B. I had The Club, while my wife had the Strip Loin. Food was good. The service was G R E A T. My wife was a server herself of 40 plus years, points out to me all the good qualities a server should have when we go out. Selinna passed with flying colours. Any server who walked by our table, picked up any dishes that we were finished with. A great team effort. Keep up the great work.

I got the fettuccine Alfredo, it was extremely greasy and the cream had curdled. I made the server aware, she offered me a free dessert but then charged me for my Alfredo even though I had sent it back.. It was not a great experience for me.

10 years living in this area, 20 years working in the food industry, and it was by far, my best restaurant experience! Tyler was our server, courteous and kind, present the menu, recommended us an amazing beer, their specialty made draft for $4! Food is freshly made, and the cooks are efficient, I think we waited 10 minutes at most!!! I got the bison burger, and you can tell it is bison, that s special western taste!! Juicy and thick paddy. My partner got the wings, also thick and juicy! I honestly could not recommend a better place than this, this is our new favorite spot!

My girlfriend and I first time ordering from this restaurant for takeout. I got 2 pounds of honey garlic wings and my girlfriend beth got the salmon with veggies and sweet potato fries. Wings r perfect juicy, huge and flavourful. The salmon perfectly cooked veggies well seasoned. Because of this experience we will be back for date nights.

First time here since it became bricks and barrel, the old restaurant at this location was a one visit trip for us, overall not to bad but there are things a new establishment could work on, The hostess seemed distracted and really didnt seem welcoming, our server was good although she could have returned the table to see how things were going, we had an app that came out very quickly that was good...I had the classic burger w/fries (that werent to hot and a little stale) which I enjoyed and would recommend being that it was a fresh burger, my wife had the carnival club, and she found the chicken very dry with very little toppings, her fries also tasted stale, so needless to say I dont think she would order the same again, we also tried the dessert (chocolate torte) which was very good, like I said overall not to bad but theres definitely room for improvement

Food was cold coffee was barely warm. Our complaint was treated with disrespect it was suggested that the cold food was our fault for having to wait so long. And thank goodness the steak knives were sharp. Consider my over generous tip a parting gift.

We have enjoyed this restaurant with its many previous owners. Different menus in the past and found that this one that we have really enjoyed. The portions were large and prices are very reasonable. Try it for yourselves and have an empty belly before ordering. I recommend the house brew with your meals. The server that we had was very humorous and attentive to our needs (an extra take home order) as well as their great staff behind the scenes that made our experience an enjoyable one.

we had curry rolls to start they are sooooooo good then the boss came out and greeted us, he is also awesome. Also the samosas is really good to.Then my husband had their striploin and i had the fired roast chicken everything was sooooooo good highly recommend. Definatley will not leave hungry. Hearing so many great things about this new restaurant, it was so worth the visit! Service was amazing, and our waitress was great, we didnt wait too long for our food at all which was a bonus. Weve been there twice recently. The food was great, ample portions. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. The service was quick. Prices are exceptional good compared to other local eateries. Its become one of our favourite restaurants and we plan to return again and again. Parking: Big parking lot, no issues.

My husband and I stopped by for an early dinner yesterday. We were met with a very bubbly young lady (Michelle) who also served us. We ordered Goat Cheese Quesadilla with Onion Rings and Teryaki Wings and Fries. We also had bar drinks. Everything we ordered was hot, fresh and delicious. Price was within budget. My husband and I tried Bricks and Barrel tonight for the first time. Super friendly staff who were very accommodating and helpful. Great personalities and smiles. Food was absolutely amazing, full of flavour. The best gravy I have tried anywhere. Lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed the place. Will definitely be back to try more of the large menu. Great place to go. Can see it being a very atmospheric pub in the euros this year.

Staff was absolutely amazing and their chefs made some of the best food I have ever had. This hidden little gem of a restaurant is worth the effort of finding. If youre looking for an amazing little place to eat great food without the loud noise where you can have a peaceful conversation with friends or family while you eat this is the perfect spot. I will definitely be coming back.

I got wings and ribs. Came with two sides so I got kettle chips and onion rings. Chips, wings and rings were delicious. Ribs I found dry and sauce was flavorless. Server was friendly and efficient and place was very busy. Not enough parking.

Was excited to try this place and made plans with my partner to go there for a late lunch. We were the only ones waiting to be seated, the hostess was standing there, but failed to acknowledge us. Not one word for probably four minutes. Finally she picked up two menus and said one word Two? I said yes, and she just started walking away. We were confused, not knowing if we should follow, and she turned around and gave us a strange look like why arent you coming? We proceeded to follow her and were seated. Seriously not another word. We sat for a few minutes, looking at the menu, thinking that someone would come and take our drink order. My partner got up to use the washroom, came back and still nothing. Hostess and servers were chatting behind the bar for most of this. We are not usually impatient people, and 20 minutes might not be that long, but just the fact that we werent even greeted or spoken to upon arrival really got on our nerves. We decided to leave. Walked past the hostess and a server on our way out and still not a word was said to us. Wont be back. Rated a two because it looks like a nice place and the food looked amazing on the menu.

Staff was excellent, our waitress and the owner both were very nice and seem to have their hearts in this and I hope things improve in the cooking end as that was our issue here ,eggs were overcooked on bottom not cooked on top barely, the toast was cold and the butter was sparse but this works as what there was was kind of an off putting flavour , bacon and potatoes were nothing to write home about ...all in all excellent atmosphere and think there is potential to do well they just need to arrange for some cooking lessons for someone in the back

Visited the newly opened restaurant for breakfast. Good portions and great coffee. Will need to come back to check out their extensive menu items.

The restaurant is visually appealing inside. Menu has a bit of everything. Waitress was kind, accommodating and seemed sweet. Food was yummy. Hope this place does well.

We had the fully loaded Bison burger. Delicious the kettle chips are freshly made. Started with the Curry Spring roll. Soooo..good! We would definitely return. Lots more to try! Food : 4/5

I enjoyed dinner here tonight for the first time. I found the food to be spot on. Everything tasted wonderful, the service was very accommodating as well. I spoke with the owner briefly and they have plans for wing nights and trivia nights etc. If you like wings, GET THE GARLIC PARMESAN. They are simply amazing! I will definitely be back! Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu with lots of options.

This was our first visit to Bricks and Barrel Kitchen and Bar. Overall, it was a satisfying experience. My wife had a chicken quesadilla and I had the Carnival Club. We both enjoyed our meal and couldnt finish everything in front of us. I had the Barrel Draft for $4 and my wife had a Pinot Grigio wine. Kelly was our server and she was very informative. The menu has so many options. I recommend giving this new establishment a visit. We will return to xheck out so.e other menu items.

The food was absolutely amazing! Kelly was so welcoming and knowledgable about the menu. We were impressed, given that its all new. She is an absolute asset to this restaurant! We live nearby by and look forward to coming in again. I hope yall open a patio when it warms up!

First time here. Food was good, waitress was very attentive, furnace must be broken down as they had heaters at various spots & it was cool in there, similar atmosphere as previous restaurant & it had no music on until we were 1/2 way into our meal. We will be back for another meal in the future. Good luck to the new owners.

Stopped in last weekend and was very impressed in both the food and service, especially considering how new they were. The brisket sandwich was some of the best I ve ever had. Can t wait to come back and try other dishes. Decor could use a bit of updating, ie seating surfaces but I m sure that will come in time. Nice to see Trenton finally getting some quality dining options.

Our one dish was shrimp pasta. Omg so good. Our other meal was the fire cracker burger. Both dishes was excellent. Parking: Lots of parking

Food was amazing! We had the garlic Parmesan wings to start. They were so good. Real pieces of Parmesan cheese and all. I had the butter chicken and my husband had the vegetable curry w/ shrimp. It was all delicious. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. Bar menu is small but they have plans to grow it .overall it is a great new addition to the area. We will be back.

My wife and I with a friend went there today for supper to try it out for the first time. Everything was excellent! All of our orders were delicious and well proportioned from the appetizers to the dessert. I had the bacon jam cheese burger and onion rings and it is by far one of the best burgers I have ever had. The service was second to none and the atmosphere was great. Plenty of parking and very easy to find with great access off of Hwy 2. A definite must go if you are in the Trenton area. We will definitely being going back there again. Awesome job Bricks and Barrel Trenton!

This was our first time at this Restaurant. Our waitress was very nice and friendly, and a great sense of humour. We started with the appetizers, it was very tasty, homemade nacho chips came with the spinach dip along with pita bread it was very good. The guys had burgers one beef the other bison with the bacon jam and loved them. I had the Cajun pasta oh man it was very tasty indeed. We all decided to have desert, OH boy their carrot cake was awesome! We are looking forward to eating there again. Nice restaurant, nice atmosphere and great service. HOT and fast!

Good food great service

My family and I went for breakfast this morning and were excited to try a new place . We came here and were extremely disappointed. It was not busy at it was around 8:45-9:00 am . We ordered eggs benny their big breakfast and pancakes . When food arrived the home frys were a jumbled mess my partners eggs were not fully cooked and the pancakes that were listed to be buttermilk pancakes were thin like leather my daughter didnt eat them. ! The waitresses were very kind an understanding. We left very disappointed and hungry

Ordered take out tonight after my spouse was raving about their food from the other day. Very happy with the customer service and fast service. The food was amazing, shared pickle spears, angry chicken with onion rings and a classic burger with fries and gravy. Food was delicious and cooked well. Portion size was smaller than my spouse had at lunch early this week. You definitely should try eating here.
