Gogi Korean Grill in Trenton

I got a recommendation to try Gogi and so I took a shot and ordered it on door dash, I d share a photo but I ate the food quite quickly, the dishes from the restaurant blew me out of the park. I ordered the Korean beef tacos and Bulgogi from a door dash, let me tell you it is honestly the best Korean food I ve ever had to this day! From the seasoning and how tender everything was I was just over the moon with the food. Would recommend this to anyone who hasn t been here yet! I will be ordering again/ coming in

I cant believe I havent written a review yet. Ive been going to Gogi for 4 years and have taken so many friends and family there. Tim the owner is a phenomenal host and creates such an inviting atmosphere. His dedication and attention to his customers cannot be compared. And then theres the food. So fresh, fast and absolutely YUMMY!. My favourite dishes are the garlic chicken and spicy pork. The fun little sides you get such as the miso soup and pickled radish and kimchi. The prices are really good you get a lot of food. I usually have enough left over for lunch the following day. So you decided between $15 for a crappy meal at McDonalds or a fresh korean inspired dish with left overs and sides for $20. Tim cant wait to see you!

Been refered to Gogi Korean Grill and let me tell you how AMAZING their food was. I was welcomed immediately upon entering and was given table and menu. I ordered my food and was quickly given cold water, miso, kimichi and radish. The food arrived quickly and hot. While eating, I could see the gentleman working there greet his usuals. You could tell he knew everyone entering and was enjoying himself inquiring about their day. Lovely place, cozey atmosphere but most importantly GREAT food.

Delicious authentic Korean flavors! I got the kimchi Korean pancake to share, and we definitely should have split it down the middle or gotten two- good portion size, but it was just too tasty. After that, I ordered the Yukgae Jang I believe, and it was fantastic! So full of flavor with every bite. Definitely a gem in Trenton.

Recently discovered this restaurant in Quinte West This place was wonderful from the start. The staff are very welcoming and kind. You get started with complementary soup and kimchi. Both are delicious starts to your meal. I have never been disappointed by anything on their menu. Everything is very filling and full of flavor. They have plenty of options to chose from depending on your tastes and you cant go wrong with any of them. If you are looking to try something new or are a fan of Korean dishes I cannot recommend Gogis enough.

Went to Gogi for lunch today, 3 May 24 as part of a party of 4. I had the bulgogi and green tea. Our server arrived promptly to take our orders. The menu is simple, but all of the selections are good. One of my companions also ordered the bulgogi and some mandu to share. Our meals were brought out quickly along with bowls of miso soup. Three of us ordered the bulgogi and the other ordered the gangpungi. The bulgogi was delicious, and we all agreed. The portion size was excellent, and it came with the exact right amount of rice. Our companion allowed us to try his gangpungi, and it was excellent as well, with the right amount of sweetness and heat. The green tea was plentiful and was loose tea leaves instead of a bag, which I prefer. Individual experiences may vary. In all, excellent visit, highly recommend. Well be back!

Great restaurant, great service and food. Something thats a little bit different for the area which is great. We will be regularly frequenting this restaurant. Only downfall is that its best for takeout, as there is limited seating.

The food here is spectacularly good, and the owner takes great pains to make sure I have a good time, every time I come in. They have a small kitchen, so your order may take a minute, but its worth the wait. Kid-friendliness: The owner is really good with my kids, and always makes them feel welcome.

By far my favourite restaurant in Trenton. The owner could be so busy hes practically running and still have the time to make you feel welcome and ask how your meal is. The food is the perfect mix of spicy, savoury heaven. This restaurant is kinda small and VERY popular, so reservations or takeout is recommended. Parking: Shared parking with the laundromat, more around the side of the laundromat than out front. Kid-friendliness: Always super nice to my kids and makes good recommendations for what they would like.

Stopped in Trenton and was looking for a place for lunch. I really didn t have much expectations but once I took a bite, I had to take my phone out to take a pic. These are not only authentic but real family recipes. You can really taste the difference, especially the time put into the dishes. I ended up bringing some home and now the family can t wait to have it again. Highly recommend the gamjatang and jajangmyeon.

I ve been only once with my family since moving to the area from Toronto. The food, atmosphere and service were all outstanding. We cannot wait to go back. We had a chat with another lovely couple as well as the owner of the restaurant( Peter? I think) It turns out we were all from the city and all lived quite close to each other. Now we re all in the Trenton area and are loving life here too!! Such a small world. Anyhow. This place is fantastic and we highly recommend it.

We live in Brockville and visit Toronto often. We stop in Trenton to eat. We decided to skip the fast food area and try someplace different. Gogi Grill was awesome. Only 5 mins from the 401 and definitely worth it. I had the Dolsot Veggie Bibimbap without the egg. The dish had so many amazing flavours. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for my food sensitivities. Definitely will go to Gogi again!!!

My best friend and I ordered the pork ramen for take out for her birthday and I also got a shrimp tempura. The ramen was so delicious we were raving about it long after we had finished and the shrimp tempura was some of the best Ive ever had the breading was light and flakey. Great food!

Overall, our experience at this Korean restaurant was fabulous. If you plan to eat in, maybe call ahead seeing as they are a pretty busy spot with limited seating.

Best Korean food I have had, the Mandu and Beef Bulgogi are my favourites. Restaurant is little on the smaller side for seating but definitely worth it. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking: Located beside a laundromat so there are plenty of parking spots close by.

The food was excellent. We had Pork Ramen and the Gangpungi and the flavours were amazing. The Citron Tea was lovely. Its a small restaurant, maybe 12 covers but very popular. Awesome and authentic Korean food just where you wouldnt expect it. Definitely worth a visit if youre heading to the RCAF museum.

This place is my idea of heaven. Weve been twice so far and plan many more date nights here. The Unagi is absolutely out of this world, I was practically moved to tears by its delicious perfection. The whole place seems to be run by the owner and his wife. Very friendly and welcoming. Finally, the cost is so unbelievably fair for the quality of the food its almost hard to believe. We had their most expensive appetizer, I had a beer and the wife a pop and each had one of the more expensive dishes, and the bill was still under $62. If youre on the fence about trying this place, please allow me to push you over, youll be glad I did. Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian section on the menu including a veggie ramen. I prefer meat with my meals, but the veggie selection is actually tempting

I consider this one of the best restaurants in Quinte West. Absolutely fantastic and authentic food, reasonably priced considering it is high quality and reasonable portions. Better than the famous owl of minerva in my opinion. Just wish they sold kimchi!

I lived in Korea for a year and this is definitely authentic. Its tailored a bit for Canadian tastebuds, but its very yummy (Im not Canadian). The owners are so nice, friendly and accommodating! I make a long drive at least twice a month to get it!

Its been a long time since I felt like I found everything I typically look for in a restaurant/establishment and Gogi Korean Grill exceeded all of these expectations. My husband and I ordered the beef mandu, kimchi jigae, jajangmyeon and kalbi ribs. All were absolutely delicious. They had only two sides (banchan) - kimchi and pickled radish. Simple yet so satisfying. What stood out the most to us was the service. I wish I got his name but thank you kind sir for ending our mini-moon on the sweetest note! :)

Incredibly fresh and delicious food cooked perfectly. Great local beer selection and extremely accommodating for kids of any age. Cant recommend this place enough! Kid-friendliness: We asked what was good for kids and was offered the option to make chicken fingers if they were picky eaters. Very accommodating! We ended up ordering off the menu for the kids because the food was so good and we wanted them to enjoy it too, but it was great to have that option.

Food is amazing and so is the service! Everything is fairly priced on the menu, great place for date nights and celebrations. If you enjoy exploring authentic cuisine this is a must go spot. The Kimchi was the perfect amount of tangy heat and the pickled daikon radish was crisp and sweet! Highlights in the meal were these two for sure. I had the Bulgogi which was a perfect first time meal. Served with plain sticky rice and miso. For next time visit I will explore the menu for something with more spice! Parking: Parking at the side by the laundromat. Also perfect walking distance from the park by the water. Kid-friendliness: If your kid likes to try new foods this is the place to go, everything easy easy to eat and taste really good there are some great appetizers to tryout

18 years living in Toronto made me very picky with asian food in general and Korean in particular. Im usually skeptic about restaurant reviews in small towns, but this restaurant deserve every single stars it got from almost 200 reviews. Try their special Bulgogi, their BibimBap (doodoo wap bam bam). Splendid!

Amazing food and amazing service! Their flavours are great and authentic. Unfortunately, when my friends and I visited, the dine-in capacity was all full for the night so perhaps calling and reserving is the best way to go. And take-out for all our orders were a 30-minute wait but understandable as it is a small family-run joint. Highly recommend.

Stupendous. This is a family restaurant and it was quite busy when we arrived. The service was challenged by the level of busyness and such . My wife and I ordered and the food did take a tiny bit of time but when it arrived everything was magical. Probably the best Korean beef dishes I have had in my life. And the fabulous pickled vegetables and kimchi were absolutely delightful. And when we were leaving we spoke for a bit with the owner and he explained that it was his mother doing the cooking. And wow will she ever doing a fantastic job. Now that we are visited, it is easy to see why this place is so highly rated and that the high rating is very very well deserved.

Best Korean food in the area and its not even close! And some of the best Ive ever had. The family is super friendly and welcoming too. Authentic, very flavourful food - the springrolls, veggie bibimbap, bulgogi, and tangsuyuk are all excellent and I will continue to try the entire menu. I wish they were closer to Belleville, but they are well worth the trip!

Weve been to this restaurant a few times since moving to Trenton and we will keep coming back as long as were here. The service is always very friendly and the food is delicious! This was our second time trying this restaurant. We tried something different from the first and was pleased again by the flavours. The gentleman who took our order was patient and friendly as I struggled with pronunciation. We will return to try more of their menu soon.
