Placed order online for delivery, when we got it 50min later part of our order was missing. When we tried to call the store, it kept going to voicemail - we tried calling for over 30min. Extremely disappointed! Update: finally got through, although they said we had to contact the delivery service, Link was kind and assisted in how they could. That being said, Harvey's needs to look into their policy about app delivery order items missing bc having to deal with a third party is ridiculous when an item is missing and the only thing they suggest is you going to the store to get your missing item which defeats the purpose of having your food delivered in the first place.

I hate leaving a bad review and the staff here were lovely but the food was really disappointing. I’ve never had bad fries at Harvey’s but these ones were soggy and dripping with oil and totally undercooked. I saw other not so great reviews but figured “Harvey’s is Harvey’s” so how bad could it be? I stand corrected. It was bad.
Staff are super helpful. App was acting up. The staff was able to help me in the store. The food was delicious. I'm pretty sure I saw the cook using the same tongs to pick up bacon that he used on the beef, etc. That's cross-contamination.
Judy is such a kind soul and so knowledgeable!! She told me that if I ever wanted something additional on my side salad all I had to do was ask. In addition to sharing this helpful tidbit she also satisfied my hot sauce needs and was honestly just very charismatic. Whoever hired her found a true gem of a human. Will come here just because I might get to run into her 😁
Was the only place open on Easter Sunday and it came in handy for my husband and son to have dinner here. Staff was friendly, chicken dinner was great. We had the whole place to ourselves. Kid friendly, they had high chairs :)
Went though drive through. Girl was friendly and polite. Got home with my order with the two chicken leg dinner for me and my daughter to split. Opened it up abd it was a chicken breast meal. I called the 1 866 number and spoke to a lady who said she would transfer me to the store. Waited for the transfer to be picked up and it was not the right store. I am not going out again, just got home from a long day at work. Guess I will be eating soup. Not happy! And my daughter says the bun is so hard, you cannot even bit into it.
Lights on menu sign have been out for a month, cant see at night and looks closed!

Best Swiss Chalet i have eaten at- Came out hot and Juicy chicken. Real half chicken not two quarters of cold chicken like you usually get served in other stores. They unfortunately closed the Swiss Chalet chicken business. Now it s just a burger joint.
Totally dissatisfied, incorrect order & the Bacon on the burger was like eating gravel. I do like my bacon crispy but black charcoal is not my favorite flavor.

Wont honor coupons from the mobile app. Mobile app said call the store to place the order, manager on duty said not my problem. Gross negligence on corporate awareness. Didnt even ask which coupon I wanted to use. Will be avoiding this in the future if they cant even honor their own coupons.

This has to be the worst Swiss Chalet in Quinte West. 3 weeks ago I bought a dinner. Hair was found inbedded in the chicken. Then today I go to get my replace and omg they gave me my dinner and fries looked and tasted like they were lunch fries left over. My bun is as hard as a rock. I will be calling cara foods tomorrow morning and I have video to share with them. What happened to this place. Must have a 15 year old kid running the place. Horrible horrible is all I can say. If there is a next time with this idiot place I will check my food before I leave this place. Please do yourselves a favor and go to an actual restaurant. Wont let me edit my word bought not thought
Known this business since the year 2000 and I have been going there since Kaleb, the best worker there was known as kelly. He used to great me all the time when i was a kid and every time i go in we still smile, wave and say hello to each other. Their hot dogs are to die for and their chicken, bacon ranch poutines are definitely god sent. Harvey s is the only burger place for me! Kid-friendliness: Kaleb definitely trained alot of them well if he has been there since 2000
My fiance and I just left this location and I just want to say the 2 girls that were working tonight (February 27th at 9pm) did an excellent job tonight. Very fun atmosphere, and we re willing to help us out as much as needed! These 2 girls were absolutely fantastic. In my opinion they deserve a raise! Thank you!

We were the only one at the store and it was a horrible experience. The male worker up front did nothing but heavily sniffle his nose, and I highly doubt it was from a cold . He was absolutely all over the place, we had to tell him our order very slowly twice (very simple order). He couldn t even focus on what he was doing and you would have thought he was serving 100 customers by himself. He forgot our drinks, then once we received our drinks, he managed to blend one drink and was so out of it that he didn t blend the other. He handed us our food after 20 minutes and EVERYTHING was dumped out of the boxes including two fries and 1 onion ring. I think the owners need to keep an eye on who they are hiring.

I always have a great experience at Harveys in Trenton! I adore Summer! and Matt who work there! Theyre amazing and they always take such good care of me and my family. I would like to comment on another persons review from Quinte Reviews. The person they are speaking on has tourettes syndrome and tried the best he could to take care of them. I think its rude to assume someones under the influence when you have no clue what your talking about! Please dont just judge based on what you want to believe. If you would have just taken a moment and spoken to him he would have explained that. Instead of defaming someones character for nothing. Id always recommend Harveys to anyone! Fast food, friendly staff, great options for all. Dietary restrictions: We have some dietary restrictions which isn t easy to follow when we have to eat out. Thankfully Harvey s does a great job offering food that fit our needs. Kid-friendliness: When going into Trenton we eat Harvey s veggie burgers and each kid can pick what they want on their burgers. The staff are always friendly.

So many problems in one visit, where do I even start? Ordered on the app and when we walk in we tell the girl behind the counter it s for dine-in and give her the name. She looks at us blankly and says it s not even in the system yet. We said that s ok we re just informing you it s for here. They just keep running around searching for the receipt and rudely not paying attention to what we were saying. We sit down to wait and 15 minutes passes so I go to see what the wait is. I see the bag with my name written on it so I ask what we are waiting on. They say oh, nothing it s ready and hand me the bag with no drinks. Why did they hand me a bag when I said it was for dine-in, in the first place? I ask where the drinks are and one of the girls hands me one straw when two drinks had been placed on the order. I tell them it s two drinks and she slaps another straw on the counter. I take the food to the table and notice right away there is no ice in the drinks. I get up to ask if they have ice and they tell us it s broken. It would have been nice to know before hand because we would have asked for a refund. I sit back down to eat and discover my burger is made wrong so have to get up once again to tell them. After waiting even more for it, they bring it to the table and say here Next we discover they didn t include the gravy so back to the counter I go to request we get our full order. That shouldn t need to happen. If your employee s focused more on doing their job and less of goofing around I wouldn t be writing this bad review right now. It was a miserable experience from start to finish. We haven t visited since 2021 and this is our experience upon our return.

I hate to be posting this because it s a bunch of kids running around bouncing of each other trying to make a living. But who ever runs this franchise should know that this was the last time I ll ever order Swiss Chalet. Stick to the Harvey s side of the business. Worst Chalet experience ever. Dried out chicken, horrible eons old sauce. Not for me. Seems the Chalet side of things are an afterthought.
After waiting in the drive thru for over 10 minutes, we recieved the one item we ordered. We left the drive thru only to find it was made incorrectly and we had to turn around and drive back. It is frustrating to say the least. During our wait, the crew at this location spent their time standing in a circle, chatting and goofing off with one another. This is something we experience quite often at the Trenton location, recieving incorrect orders because the staff are focusing on their conversations with one another instead of watching what they are doing. While it is nice to see that the staff get along with each other, there needs to be a bit more focus on orders and on customer service.
Food was terrible. I have always loved their food but this time it was garbage.. poutine was more gravy than fries . Sloppy and soggy , like soup.. I couldnt eat it. Burger had a weird taste to it and they forgot the pickles and mayo on my burger .. almost 20 bucks in the garbage
My Granddaughter and I went for our monthly visit to Harveys Trenton Sat. Sept 30 at 1:00. My Granddaughter is quite shy and when it came to order, Dakoda was there to take our order. Dakoda was very patient with my grandaughter. They both struggled through it. I was impressed that there was NO hint of frustration or a feeling of inconvience from Dakoda. After our lunch, I had to tell her how happy I was with the whole transaction. She IS the type of employees that I was looking for when I had my own business. Again, Thanks to Dakoda for YET another plessant experience at Trenton Harveys. P.S. Trenton Harveys IS the Harveys we judge ALL other Harveys by.
What happened to this place? Used to be decent, I wouldnt spend another penny there. 7 people working and took 20 minutes to get half the order. Please save your money and go somewhere else. Bad bad bad Harveys What makes this worse is the generic response to this to do a survey. I have spent enough on you Harvey s, I am not interested in doing your survey. Fix your store! From these reviews you have done nothing to fix the issues at the store level.

Went w my son today and ordered a crisp chicken. I think they were keeping warm for quit a while because it was very dry and looked terrible. The classic poutine was great though. None of the tables were cleaned off and the floors needed sweeping. The server that took my order was not friendly at all. Would definately not recommend the crisp chicken sandwich. There were quite a few people working so there was no excuse for the unwashed tables and unkept floors. After this review, the management reached out to me right away and reassured me my concerned would be addressed. They were apologetic.
Edit: Went down hill sadly. Ive dashed here 3Xs nothing was edible. Cold mush fries, a stiff old cold burger and I never get the correct toppings (this Harveys does Not make a burger a beautiful thing ) Before: This place has never let me down for anything.
Did not get what I ordered. Asked for toppings on my poutine (jalapenos and onions) and got none. Asked the manager about the Military discount and they told me its only if you show them the CF1 card. The gov ID we are issued is not enough and the CF1 card does not even get tracked. You just show them.
Went in the drive thru a few HOURS before close and was made to wait at the speaker without being acknowledged for at least 5 min. They finally took my order and then I was made to wait at the window for 10 min without being acknowledged despite there being no other customers there. I can get over the waiting but I asked to redeem scene points to pay for my meal and after the cashier scanned my card she didn t tell me the total. When I got home I realized I was given no receipt AND she didn t use any of my points. And without the receipt I can t even collect the points I would ve gotten had this employee done her job properly. Will not be returning
With covid we pick up our order to take home and twice we have got home and order was short. We had to return to store to get balance of order. The store employee said sorry and here is extra crackers. Well my car doesnt run on crackers and am not at all happy with service.

We came in today for supper. My husband and I. The place was empty and no workers to be seen. We waited for 10 minutes before the 2 older ladies noticed us. Then the lady that took our order was very rude and ignorant! Like, really? One of the reasons we stopped coming here in the first place. Then our food was cold! Its absolutely ridiculous.

Just went to Harveys in Trenton. The parking lot was empty. 2 staff are sitting outside having a smoke. They obviously saw me get out of my car and go into the restaurant. I stand and wait at the counter. There is noone to be seen. After a few minutes of standing and waiting some guy from the back says, sorry Ill just see where everyone is. I told him not to bother as it must be a big hassle to actually look after customers. I thanked the smokers for their great customers service on the way out.

time and date of order Sunday May 29th 2022 6:00pm It took over 15 mins to get my order even though I was the only one in line in the drive through, and didnt see anyone inside ordering. My food was cold by the time it got to me. the staff was unpleasant and my burger could have been put together better by a monkey. We usually get Harveys twice or three times a month and this is the last draw because we have had unpleasant experiences here before. Will not be returning. will be telling friends and family who frequent. I dont recommend eating at this slow food restaurant.

Food is good. Usually pretty clean. Service is very slow. During todays visit it was a mess. Ive never seen anything as disorganized in my life. **UPDATE** So I was contacted by the store and Im guessing by corporate as well. New thing for me from a review on here. Very apologetic and good to deal with. Was offered a discount on my next visit. Just made it back to use it (Several weeks later). It was not busy but much different. Seems like more staff were in place and jobs were dispersed better. Had no issues with the discount at all. Good service and food was still good. I have to admit that I was impressed by their efforts to improve.

Just went for lunch with my sister, her spouse and my family of 5 (with 3 kids under 9). We thought we d have a quick lunch together before hitting the road. Well. Our receipt time was 12:53pm and we sat down to eat at 1:15pm. It took 22 minutes for our order, which is in my opinion unacceptable for a fast food restaurant. We watched as the staff very slowly prepared everything as though they had all the time in the world. It was almost comical after 15 minutes had passed. One young lady kept looking around, looking up at us, seemed like she either didn t care to get things out quickly or didn t really know what she was supposed to be doing. Can I add that there was no one in line in front of us when we came in. Also, as we suspected would happen after watching the disorganized and slow creation on our meals, we were missing two items when we sat down. They did prepare them for us when we asked. Some of the food was good, but my husband and I thought we d order something more healthy so we got the Swiss chalet chicken wrap combos. They are $16 each and we could barely eat them. There was no pickle like in the picture. The salad was reasonable, but the wrap I could barely eat. My husband said he saw them pull it out the fridge, take it out of plastic wrap and put it on the grill to grill it. Which means our tomatoes and lettuce got grilled as well. Warm tomato and lettuce = yuck! My bacon was also not cooked which was pretty gross. The washrooms: big hole in the wall in one stall exposing pipes and insulation. The bathroom door was sooo sticky like it hadn t been cleaned in days. Needless to say, we will certainly not be returning to that location. For $67 we would have been better off going to a sit down restaurant where it may even have been faster service!
This was by far THE worst experience EVER!! First off the burger was made so sloppy the bun slid off with the toppings and dripped all over me. THEN the remake was made completely wrong. The third time had a long hair in it and when we called WE were told that we were lying. The woman blatantly accused us of making it up even though we never left the parking lot the first 2 times and brought the burgers back each time to show them! The third time we had drove away because we had watched them so thought it was done right. I couldn t believe how she spoke to us and bad mouthed her co-worker on top of it. Very unprofessional and in the end couldn t even make a burger right.
Would not accommodate patron for 1 pc of chicken with a salad without full price. Swiss Chalet should not operate with Burger King. Badpy overpriced and it took 4 trips to get the meal right. Had to ask for condiments, ketchup, and utensils. And meals were not correct.

Got the quarter chicken dinner with a baked potato with sourcream. They never did put the sourcream in the bag. So I just ate a little of my chicken and my dogs enjoyed the rest of the chicken. Meat was to dry. Not a good dinner.

I went to the drive thru in Trenton and didn t wait too long . I ordered the Festive Meal but food was cold , the dressing was scattered in the box and dried up so bad. It was quite grosse. The bun was so hard l couldn t eat it. The chicken was good. The salad was terrible with two slices of partly rotten tomatoes . It was terrible. I was very disappointed and it cost me $20.66 and all that was ok was the piece of chicken. Never again!
Terribly slow, I go to a fast food restaurant to get 1 item, 5pm I ordered, 525 I roll up to the window. There were only 2 cars ahead. It was not busy, store had less than 3 customers in it. I will recommend not to go to this establishment.
Worst store ever. They make excuses to not honor coupons. Slow to make orders. Better off to cross the road and goto A&W..

My wife picked up a double leg dinner for me and a chicken salad for herself. The salad was very good but my dinner was horrible. These people should not be allowed to serve the public. The place was not overly busy. The chicken was no bigger than a robin and it was so overcooked and dried out it must have been spinning around forever. I could not believe they would put it in the bag and expect someone to eat it.. Take some pride in what youre doing or dont do it. Get a job elsewhere. They get one star for the salad.
On this particular visit they seemed a little disorganized as a couple employees were more concerned with joking around with eachother than getting food orders out....
Unfortunately I was told that they dont have any restrooms open to the public which is very inconvenient.
Food was good but this location is a disorganized mess! They messed up our order when we went back they still forgot items and staff was arguing with each other on whos turn it was to deal with customers. Maybe a little more training or better manager may help this location.
My fries were cold hate cold food especially what you pay for it and it was very busy so no excuses

Nothing like having my order - which was simple - messed up. It seems every time we go there - I should learn my lesson and not go back and head to the Belleville location for what I want - some part of my order is messed up. Thats after taking great pains to say my order slowly and clearly and repeat it. And when I returned to correct my order, the younger staff working there were lovely and helpful and apologized. But the older ones were rude and not at all helpful. Good for this generation to show the older ones how to treat customers and shoe a good work ethic.
Still the best burgers in the area
Lack of hand washing or gloves while handing food and placing slice of cheese on grill countertop that could caused food cross contamination.
Not bad if they can actually get your order right....but they always... always... manage to get something wrong. And its a pain to have to turn around get out of the car, walk in to have it corrected, especially when youve already been over the bridge with screaming hungry kids in the car. Please hire some competent staff.
It would be nice after leaving phone messages 4 times they would actually return my call. We placed a take out order through their drive thru but our order wasnt all given to us. We didnt notice until we got home but called right back. SO DISSATISFIED AND WONT BE RETURNING!! Thanks for showing customer appreciation...NOT!! I would like to add that on May 6, 2021 I went back to Swiss Chalet and got my items plus that were missing. I would also like to say the staff that served me was very sincere and gave excellent service, thank you! I will be back! Thank you Marilyn

Very disappointed! We order lunch at the drive through probably every couple of weeks. Today takes the cake! Not only did lunch at a fast food restaurant cost $35!!! But we were missing fries and sweet and sour dip for our granddaughter. This is not the first time we have been missing items but at $35.00 lunch we expect at little better!! Wont be back for a while.
The food was great but they messed up on my hamburger toppings. Pouting was very good.

In all honesty, the old cashier was spent. She didnt know the menu and was baffled by my order of the harvey signature poutine. She ran the price up to something crazy but i didnt press the matter cause of her smokers breathe. Hahaha. The food tasted hella great though so im still going.
I placed an order in the the drive thru for an orange cream milkshake , there was a car ahead of me waiting for their order I waited behind them for several minutes when they drove away and I pulled up to the window my milkshake was sitting there , I asked the man at the window if it had been sitting there since I ordered it he did not answer my question only replied that it is cold. Once he handed the milkshake to me I noticed it was completely melted thin and liquid I had to be carefulnot to spill it on myself. I have never had a Harveys milkshake before so I thought maybe their hand spun shakes are different ,I was expecting a thick creamy milkshake not all thin and liquid , I was very disappointed this to me was not a milkshake . I have since spoke to friends that have gone to other Harveys locations and they told me they have gotten thick milkshakes , so that tells me they either have a problem with their machine at the Trenton location or they had made it when I placed the order and had it sitting on the counter while I was waiting in line to get to the window and it melted . I am very disappointed they would serve that as a milkshake.

Today i just went there before my work start and buy the buffalo chicken poutine and crispy chicken, when i came to my work and open the bag there is no fork in the bag and the poutine have only little bit gravy and after that i called the store 10x time but they did not respond any calls. It is very bad experience i have i dont know how to eat that but really very bad service
Need to learn how to run a business. Waited 15 minutes to order to only be told a half hour wait. Then waiting another 15 minutes while the customers ahead of us waited at the window for their food, blocking anyone else from getting out. My sister had similar experience the week before. You need to find a better system! I wont be back and neither will my sister!
Ordered festive specials, they didn t include the cranberry or chocolates. The chicken is also from a pigeon.

Just had takeout from Harveys/Swiss Chalet. WORST baked potato ever. It was obviously microwaved and wasnt edible. Wont be a return customer.

Usually quick service, but tonight we waited in the drive thru for at least 10 minutes (3 songs played in the car). It was a simple order.. 2 bacon cheeseburger and 2 poutines. No reason to take so long.
Went there at 6 pm for 2 Swiss Chalet quarter Chicken dinners as take out. First he has to check to see if there is any white meat available then says they dont have any baked potato. After I order he tells me there is no dipping sauce left for the chicken and they substitute gravy. When we got home to eat the chicken was tasteless and not enjoyable at all. This is not the first time we were disappointed. Two weeks earlier I went there on a Sunday to pick up dinner at the drive through. After sitting in line for quite sometime I finally get to the order board and the kid inside says we dont have any chicken and didnt offer any coupons or rain checks. We have decided that we will not go there again for chicken.
I am writing this review while waiting in the drive thru... Ive been sitting here since 7:03ish with 3 cars ahead of me... Its 7:18 now and there is only one ahead now.... Come on Harveys in Trenton.!! 20 min wait to get my mobile order... Geeeezz Cold food when I got it @ 7:20ish
Excellent service, great food. Friendly atmosphere. Clean. My husband and I enjoyed Swiss Chalet quarter chicken meals and my father enjoyed the bacon original burger from Harveys. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality.
