Overall not a worthy experience. Decided to give it a second try as the first experience was mediocre, months back. What can say, nothing good to mention the 2nd time. The food portions and quality were below acceptable. The perogies were few and tasteless. $3.50 for a fountain pop with half a glass of ice. No refills, second glass of pop with half ice is another $3.50. We ordered 1 lbs of wings and asked for half and half sauces and the kitchen said no. Didnt think that was too much to ask for. I think some restaurant owners forget they are in the customer service business. How hard is it to do 1/2 honey garlic and 1/2 BBQ. Cesar salad is just romaine with some store bought dressing, bland. And the whole place has a weird vibe. A pub should be lively and great energy. Unfortunately we wont be returning. Which is too bad because Trenton was in desperate need for a alternate restaurant with whats available. I wouldnt have left any tip at all but didnt think that would be fair to our server. If you are going to own and operate a restaurant make the food and experience exceptional, people will keep coming back. If you read the reviews theyre all pretty much the same. Doesnt much look like the owners are trying to fix it

Been here twice, the service is a bit slow(even with a party of two), but the food more than makes up for it. We had a party of 10 one time, all ordered wildly different dishes and not one dud among the lot.

November 7, 2024 Waitress was great, food was horrible. Table next to us sent a meal back, we sent desert back. Ordered Signature burger and Canadian burger. Both lacked flavour. Not even salt. Meat tasted as if it was boiled. I know you cannot boil a burger, but thays it what it someone tasted like. As if all the beef flavour was boiled out of it. What few fries came with the meal were from frozen. The best description for the gravy is that it was brown. No flavour, just brown. Chocolate cake was stale to the point of being hard and gross. One bite and sent it back. FYI, the pic is of cake with an upcharge for ice cream, but does not say that on the menu. Cant see returning. Every chance we have given them seemed to fail in some way. The kitchen needs to learn the basics of cooking. When first opened it was good, its gone down with every visit since. We kept returning because of convenience, we will now drive out of the way for food and deal with the inconvenience.

I realize this is a newer restaurant, but heres my feedback: ordered 2 appetizers, both good, but one was not hot. Thanksgiving special menu, many in my family ordered squash soup...they ran out. Soup substitued was good but warm. Beef shortribs, many enjoyed but one was cold in middle. I ordered a grilled cheese that was to have ham, um, no ham and not pressed as per menu. Service was good. May I suggest you dumb your menu down. Its too vast. Pick favorites and stick with that. You are trying too hard to accommodate... from pub food, Asian, English, etc etc. Hone it down and make perfect. Follow up: I was told ,after my review, they would follow up with email. Which i provided, no word yet. Get it together, or you will be another place that shuts down, in a market that could benefit. Another follow up: still no word after providing email! So, Im to assume put comment to discuss just to look good via my review.

Good food, large portions. Serious issues with the building, washrooms are in the basement, the mens was closed. Updating the restaurant is overdue. Wheelchair accessibility: Not great, washrooms are not accessible.

My favorite place in Trenton is piper arms. This is the most recommended place to go with your family and friends. Excellent service and welcoming atmosphere.. The manager kala was super friendly.. She suggested some of their special dishes and those were mouthwatering. Thanks kala for treating us so kindly . Will definitely visit again and again.

Yesterday I did here for dinner with my friends. We ordered different foods. All the foods were very delicious and we enjoyed a lot. The service is very fast and the atmosphere is very friendly.

Always a good breakfast...the only reason it didnt get 5 stars is because the use small/medium eggs. Id prefer large eggs. Lots of space so you dont feel cramped or involved in the conversations at the next table. They are able to handle large groups. Staff is pleasant and not bothersome. They refill your coffee at the exact moment you want more!

They did well with our party of 6 plus a toddler. Good diversity of food. There was something to suit everyones taste. Dietary restrictions: I was impressed with the selection of gluten free items.

Horrible took way to long to get a table it was 3 other parties. there were over 15 empty tables just kept getting weird looks from staff

It could be better. Our server was not very attentive and tended to disappear for long periods of time, making it difficult to get a soft drink refill. My food was delicious except for one thing: the mussel shells were very brittle, and there were fragments of shells in my hotpot. It was not very pleasant picking out the shell fragments.

We come here often, love the food choices, its always delicious and the service is always great! Just wish the place had more room but it does the job.

Good and plentiful dishes, very friendly service with a smile, understanding team (there were 4 of us including my daughter who had her own menu for her specific diet that we were able to bring to the table) Classic North American restaurant setting. Beer drafts are in pint format by default Parking: Shared parking with that of the Ramada hotel.

I didnt have the pleasure of going in I ordered from skip the dishes and I will say the food was absolutely amazing and very generous portions cant wait to try a steak

Menu has an HUGE variety of choices. Traveling with a large group of people & just a few of us went there for dinner Friday. Food was so good we went back on Sunday with everyone for dinner. We all got something different & just were amazed given the variety that everything was so yummy! Service was perfect too---polite, responsive, & prompt. There are daily specials too-what more could you ask for? 10/10 recommend!

Came for dinner tonight and the food was ok. Marinara sauce tasted slightly like chocolate milk. Our server Kait though was the highlight of the evening! On the ball with drinks, never had to ask her twice for anything and the best service with a smile Ive had in a long time.

I ve been going to Piper Arms Pub Trenton since it opened. The owners and staff are amazing people. The food is great! I ve tried many of the multiple things on the menu and everything is delicious. I most certainly recommend this restaurant and give it a 10/10. I ve had their breakfast, lunch and dinners.

Everything was great, but the general noise is very loud. I was there on a Friday night for dinner. Our group was 6 people, but it was quite difficult to hear each other at our table.

I recently enjoyed a great meal at Piper Arms and opted for the Classic Breakfast. The portions were generous, every item on my plate was served hot and fresh. The sausages, in particular, were a standout- flavourful and cooked to perfection. The entire breakfast tasted soo good! Additionally, the service was exceptional. Our server, George, was attentive and friendly. Considering the quality and quantity of the food, the price was excellent and offered great value. I highly recommend the Classic Breakfast here for anyone looking for a satisfying and delicious start to their day.

Have been here before, have always enjoyed the meals in the past, but today??? Wow! Just WOW....I was so happy to see they had a special Good Friday fish based menu. And, it was more than good. Suggest that you keep the hailbutwich on the menu, essentially a halibut fish taco with Naan. Yes, go and try this!

April 21, 2024- Came here for lunch, ordered drinks, some appetizers, and our main courses. Had to remind our server to bring our drinks. The appetizers still managed to come out before the drinks did, then not 5 minutes after we received our starters, she brought out our main meals. One of the members in our party ordered a coffee and water for his drinks, she said she had to make a fresh pot, which is fine, but he never did get his coffee. When she was asked about the coffee, She apologized and he told her not to worry about bringing it at that point. I understand people having bad days, or forgetting if the place was busy, but other than us, there was only 2 other tables with people at them. All that being said the food was pretty good

Wen I got my dinner it was over cooked the manager(Im assuming) come over replaced my meal with a plate that was perfect she was very apologetic Highly recommend we have done there few times Food

Ordered take out last to be picked up at 7:10. Order finally cane out of the kitchen at 7:30. I ordered the steak sandwich, which is usually superb, but this time I think the chef dumped the pepper shaker over the entire steak. Pepper was overwhelming and unappetizing. I could only eat about half before I gave up.

We dinned in service was fast, waiter was excellent, my steak and lobster were delicious, my husband also had a steak dinner, one major complaint was that our potatoes and veggies were just warm at best. Not hot at all , so it ruined my meal. I should have told the waiter about it, but didn t want to create a hassle. I have heard this complaint from some of my friends also who have dinned there. If I go again I will say something next time , I think you need to know this.

Our Server George went above and beyond today when a group of us from work went to lunch and celebrated a birthday. He was incredibly attentive, pleasant and very experienced with both the menu and the hospitality services industry He even suggested bringing a little birthday dessert to the birthday boy. He had a candle in it and he led the singing of happy birthday And all around pleasant experience. Thank you so much George!

200 dollar order. Multiple complaints. Food was cold. My lettuce bun on the burger was 12 loose leafs of iceberg browning . Usually great food. Your slipping Piper Trenton. Forgot our 10 pops too @ 3 bux per can.

There were 9 of us there for Saturday dinner. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The food, for the most part, was sub-par. The chicken on my souvlaki had the weirdest rubbery texture that I asked if I could send it back to cook it more. The new skewers came back pretty much the same. the rice pilaf was dry and tasteless like out of an instant box. The surf & turf was ordered by 2 people and had the smallest lobster tails that I have ever seen on a plate and I doubt if they were of a legal size and should have been thrown back into the ocean. My one friend said that his steak was tough. The Shepherds Pie was on a plate with random veggies (not peas & carrots) separate from a dish with mashed potatoes mixed with hamburger and covered in gravy .. very strange presentation. I actually didnt hear anything positive from anyone other than they were happy that they didnt have to pay .. I did. I wish that I had thought to take a picture of the 2 lobster tails. I wont be going back. Reporting back: The Manager not only commented below but also did a follow up call with me and apologized profusely hoping that we will give them another chance. We probably will .. Cala was very sweet on the phone telling me to ask for her the next time were back in town. Tks for the follow-up Cala.

1st visit was just after the opening and wasnt really impressed but due to the fact they had just opened and were still working out any kinks we decided to try it again, the service was really good but the food was lacking, presentation was terrible, started with an appetizer of mozzarella sticks that looked like they were just thrown on a plate with maybe 3 or 4 shreds of lettuce for presentation, I had their burger which wasnt to bad but my wife had their club wrap which basically consisted of mainly lettuce and a very small portion of chicken and possibly a piece of bacon, pretty safe to say we will be spending our money elsewhere

We sat at the bar. Food was just ok nothing special. Poor presentation. Not even cut evenly. It was not busy, but the service was poor. The server was too occupied with socializing with the other tables and talking across the room. He walked by our table several times with empty plates and glasses and didn t even glance our way. Love this place, we travel for work and live in hotels. I dont often leave reviews but I had to after this experience. Greg and I had Ninna as our server this evening, she did absolutely outstanding. Her service and menu knowledge was so amazing, very professional young lady. An absolute breath of fresh air. I also noticed how full the restaurant was with what looked like local people. Ate there as a family of four adults. My husband and I both ordered stuffed yorkshire. The food arrived quickly which was a surprise as the restaurant was filling up. My issue was with the meat. It was basically shaved roast beef that looks as if it was warmed up on a flat top and the bottom slices had over cooked and gotten hard and crusty. When I looked over at hubby s plate he was having the same issue. He was pushing this huge overcooked dried piece of meat off to the side of his plate. We normally love roast beef dinners with yorkshire pudding but won t try this again here. Hubby felt awful/sick for the rest of the evening.

So we got take out, fish and chips which my dad loved, my mom got the trio dish, and they forgot the salad dressing which is fine. The soup was overly salty, and the brucestta she didnt like either. I got the the spinach dip and I wasnt fond of the Naan bread, plus I asked for extra chips and got none, and the extra Naan I got wasnt even toasted it was just four large pieces of cold Naan bread. And I got the chicken tzazeki (sorry for spelling) the rice was cold and bland and the chicken was very grizzly. I hate hate hate rating restaurants, but this was our first time eating here and definitely our last. This was just our experience so hopefully others are better....

I had a wonderful experience at the trenton location of pipers arms. My server Nina was on the ball and the management put together a nice table for my lonesome self. Check ins were great and frequent, my drink never went empty. The skill and dexterity on Nina was impeccable. Do you remember that scene in spiderman, where MJ trips and tosses her lunch all up in the air and Toby Maguire catches her and all the food? Yeah thats how she was with the collecting dishes and avoiding dropping them on people during the Saturday night dinner rush. Anyways. I recommend the Philly Melt

Was recommended this place by the nice lady at the post office! Place is quite large with plenty of seating, the food was good, not over the top, but good. You will need to-go containers for sure as they don t skimp on portions. Our server was Kate , greeted us when we walked in , Drinks were fast, orders were taken, and food was on the table lickety-split. Kate never missed a beat and checked on us constantly, was extremely attentive. Hang onto this one, exceptional servers are hard to find.!

If flavourless shoe leather was a delicacy, the Piper Arms Pub in Trenton would be worthy of a Michelin Star! We ordered two of the so called Prime Rib Dinner specials offered on Christmas Day, 2023. What a MISTAKE!! From the strange tasting dollop of mashed potato (wondered if it was laced with Ajax cleaner), to the bland, equally stingy side veg; to the DRIED OUT, over cooked, and gristle-ridden slab of beef... this PRIME RIB dinner was ANYTHING BUT prime! When someone asked for more au jus (sauce), our brilliant server dropped off a dish of turkey gravy. WOW! AVOID AT ALL COST.

Absolutely loved this place! So many wonderful choices and the staff was absolutely great! I am especially grateful for the floor manager - another group was late leaving their table and she did what she could do to coerce this tardy and rude group to leave. I ordered the prime rib special medium rare. My order came rare and luke warm. I know prime rib is a fatty cut but 50% is excessive. I found the meat rather flavourless once I got past the fat. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and will not be ordering that meal again!

When I ordered from the menu the waitress said Oh, we dont serve that anymore so I was a bit surprised by this so I ordered something else. About 10 minutes later the waitress came back and said Im sorry again, the chef ran out of this ingredient and I cant make this either. At this point I was really irritated and left.

Breakfast at 6am finally in Trenton thank you Piper Arms Good and service was great Food

Ok went back there last night oh my so much better then the first time we went there the service was excellent food was great and came out very fast. Very nice people that work there and Im very sorry about my first post but it was true. Now if you want great food and fast service go to eat there .

Food was OK but portions were quite small. Service was great.

We stopped in to take advantage of their Tuesday 99 cent wing special and we were extremely pleased! Our server Thomas was very friendly and our drinks and food orders came quickly! Speaking of food, wings were served hot and came out in waves which wad great because we tried 5 different flavors, all of which were delicious Word of caution for those with a light appetite for hot and spicy food, the 911 wings were My fav was the Crier as they were a little spicy, but not overly so! The manager Kala also came by our table to check in with us to make sure we were happy with the service and food Overall extremely happy with the service and food and well definitely be coming back Also found out that they have their wing special every evening after 9pm and a wings & beer special when the Leafs are playing so well be taking advantage of that too this winter! Parking: Lots of free parking in the hotel parking lot

Talk about knocking it out of the park! Great Calamari, not to mention the superbly cooked to purification, spicy Curry Chicken. The staff was exceptional. Thanks for the assistance Tanya.

Food was great. The menu is extensive. They just have to teach the bartender how to pour a pint. Unless theyre charging for half pints. After going up twice before and having them replaced the head with beer I gave up. He was not happy.

Hannah was amazing attentive happy all smiles. My first visit I will definitely be back. My food was good I had lamb and it was perfect.

Located in the Ramada, a convenient location off the 401. Daily specials, we had the shrimp fajitas for 2. Delicious, lots of condiments accompanying them. Had to ask for plates and utensils, but staff quick to respond. Will be back.

Great spot to grab a bite. Everything that I have tried has been served piping hot and quickly. The menu is extensive and they do all the dishes well. Prices are good and staff really friendly and efficient.

Went for a 50th birthday celebration tonight, our server Rebecca was amazing and went above and beyond ensuring our drinks were full and food was out quick! Very nicely priced for the group of us! I had the steak and lobster and it was perfect! Everything was amazing we were super happy, we will definitely be back!!

We order takeout occasionally and the food and service have always been great. Unfortunately the online order process is awful and there have been multiple times that it failed and we just ordered from another restaurant. It has come up that they are not open...at 6:30pm...or it just wont accept payment. This is unfortunate as we would order from Piper Arms more often if it were easier
