34 Monogram Pl, Trenton, ON K8V 5P8, Canada
Relaxed mini-chain venue offering build your own poutines with upmarket toppings. Also have a variety of burgers, hotdogs, grill cheese.
I’ve been here a couple times and every single time the food was consistent and delicious. I highly recommend for anybody that is passing through town and needs food that is filling and a bang for your buck!!
The quality of the food was extremely poor and the cheeseburgers and poutines were all raw and undercooked and smelled very bad. Even when I informed the waiter, who was also the cashier, that all the fries were burnt, not only did he not apologize but accused me of being wrong and mentioned that their fries were the best, which made my friends and I very upset.
Friendly service, fresh hot fries, very generous with the toppings. Ordered The Hangover. Interesting touch with the hot sauce. Purists would probably not approve, but it was tasty and filling for me.
We tried poutineville in Trenton last weekend. The staff was very friendly attentive and welcoming! The atmosphere was also very clean and nice.We ordered the 4 cheese poutine, the veggie burger and grilled cheese for our kids. The portion size was generous. The fries were perfectly crispy, the pepper sauce gravy was absolutely delicious!! The veggie burger was so good too! I loved the choice of toppings on it. It was SO delicious! We will definitely be back when we are in the area
Love the Vegetarian gravy with spice and the classic. Store was clean and service was great. We usually enjoy Poutineville in Montreal so it was great to see this location in Ontario on the way to Montreal. It’s a great place to stop on your way to the city. Owner Asees was really awesome to deal with. Brought the food to our table and came back to check if we were enjoying the food. This will be on our stop next time we’re going to Quebec. Clean washrooms!
Huge variety to choose from. Place was a bit busy, still service was very quick (took less than 10 mins for 4 poutines and 2 burgers) Food was still fresh when we arrived home. Prices were decent. This is my new favourite place for poutine and burgers.
Went for the ultimate poutine experience. Was presented with an average poutine. Mind you it was a good size, but just a bit heavy on the salt. It was the crispy chicken ( frozen nuggets ). Overall I'd say try it once and if you like it, return. Not a place I personally would frequent.
Flavour was fine, good enough. But very salty gravy. Cheese was okay, didnt hold up firm and got very melted, not squeaky though. We had a 5 minute drive from the place to our house. Fries were soft, I assume from sitting with the gravy on them. Not crispy, but soft fries. The flavour was not anything special. Flavours were fine. I got the Mini Original which was laughable at how small it was for the price. $7.50 plus tax and it was tiny, like literally 3-4 big bites and its done. I get that it's called a mini, and it was a fine taster size. But for $7.50 for a standard poutine, that's like robbery. If I had known how small it was for that price I would have walked right out. You're better off getting the regular size for $10, because you get at least triple the amount. Hard to say I enjoyed it because I couldn't believe how expensive it was for that small of a poutine. Wow! What a rip off! I've included the size of the mini next to a tall boy can of beer. Gravy....salty and nothing special, cheese....melty and soft, fries.....soft but cooked. Overall, I wouldn't really go back. The whole price of the mini compared to the size really has turned me off. So ridiculous.
Vegetarian options: Good options for vegetarians on the menu, or you can create your own poutine and choose which ingredients you want. Dietary restrictions: You can create your own poutine and select ingredients.
We come once a month when we are in town, the service the great every single time!! The veggie poutine and sweet potato fries are a great go to! We always look forward to it after our long work day. Thank you!! :)
Great staff and prices and servings are plenty
Super clean. Awesome place for our favorite treat.
Got take out, got home and when eating bit into my poutine and bit into a drill bit, the only response I get was that s weird. After complaining more they offer to make a new one if I came in I explained it wasn t worth me driving 30 minutes back to Trenton they just hung up on me. Not impressed poor customer service and apparently poor food safety.
Go there often, like being in Montreal
Good food Good service Food
Went here for lunch, and the service and food were outstanding. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for huge portions and friendly service. 5+ stars
The butter chicken poutine has a very very little Curry flavor to it. The mushrooms overpower The taste and the chicken are battered deep fried somethings. All you can taste is batter not chicken. Very disappointed as Curry is my favorite food.
Everytime I come here the food is fresh and huge servings! and the service is absolutely amazing!! They will accommodate my poutine and swap out the toppings I dont like for other toppings instead and wont charge me extra! The employees are kind and pleasant every time and they have even remembered my order and always treat me well as I am a regular! Go to this place!! You will not be disappointed
Ate here twice, had very good take out first time, second time we ate in, nice relaxing spot with some good music, food was better the second time
I got the pulled pork poutine soo good pulled pork melts in ur mouth great flavor
Will return and would recommend. Stopped here for early dinner on a Hwy 401 trek. The fries were excellent hand cut and double fried. Servings are large- would stick with regular for an adult, and mini for kids. Family had the Cheeseburger poutine, two classic poutines and a buffalo chicken wrap with side fries. Wrap was made from scratch, and delicious.
This is the best poutine in the area of Quinte. I m a fan of poutine but this one is really hard to beat. I came from Belleville to eat the poutine in Trenton 25 minutes away. No regrets Parking: Close of the highway 401 In Trenton.
Great customer service! Poutine was really good! 10/10
The food was very delicious and the service was very great. You wont find a better poutine in the area, the portions were generous and the flavours were authentic.
Absolutely a Delightful Culinary Surprise! Very hot, fresh ingredients, and plentiful portions! Super value, and very friendly staff. They serve to your table, and follow up with your dinning experience. We had the Montrealer poutine and General Tao poutine, regular size - plenty for adults. We also shared a salad. This is a great place to visit!!!
Very tasty poutine. Service was also good. Poutine size were also huge. I would recomend their desert XANGO Very yummy
7 of us went as a group and we were VERY happy with the food and service. One person in our group has a gluten allergy, and the fact that POUTINEVILLE has a dedicated separate fryer for gluten-free cooking and that their gravy is also vegan and gluten-free is a HUGE bonus. I would love to go back but cant travel over 1 hour for poutine and I miss the Poutineville that was there in Toronto. I got the vegetarian poutine which had the peppercorn gravy. Gravy was amazing but some of the veggies took away from the taste of the poutine (green peppers and olives) Vegetarian options: Vegan and gluten-free gravy Dietary restrictions: Dedicated gluten-free fryer and will accommodate the allergy
Portions are big and very tasty. U definitely get what u pay for
I was doubtful, but so glad we went. Wow, I ordered the Philly steak poutine and there was so much steak, peppers, onions, mushrooms on top. I will definitely be going back.
Stopped in for lunch and we all had various poutine dishes. Great variety on the menu, something for everyone. Clean restaurant, lots of seating, friendly and helpful staff, good food, will definitely be back!
I ve eaten twice at this restaurant whilst driving through, and the food is always fresh and amazing! The staff 5* here-polite and friendly. Had a hot dog and poutine and brings back memories of Quebec visits with the toasted bun!! Poutine is excellent.
went to get a butter chicken poutine and was utterly disappointed. it was hardly a butter chicken poutine, there was 6 frozen (heated up) nuggets tossed in butter chicken sauce thrown on top of a regular poutine. there was no other butter chicken sauce throughout the whole poutine. needless to say, save your money and don t buy a speciality poutine when it barely is one, plus the butter chicken sauce (when i was able to taste any) wasn t the greatest either. very overpriced aswell
For a poutine place the poutine was disappointing. Fries were undercooked, and potatoes were not washed properly.
Been to the Trenton location multiple times and will continue to go back. Service is good however the food absolutely fantastic
Best place to visit love the food.
We ordered and shared the large The Most Expensive Poutine Here . Fun to eat and the quality was descent. We ate inside. Inside was clean. Service was good.
I found the food really expensive and its not like a Poutine from Montreal tastes just like burnt fries. And gross gravy that wasnt even poutine gravy also, I had a burger which. This huge burger and Little tiny bun it was so soggy you think for the price. You would get something that tastes delicious Price should be quality and quantity its like a $20 for a Poutine maybe you need chef Ramsey to come help you do something
If you like poutine youll find an extensive menu of unique poutines here. Choose the type of sauce (gravy) & meat youd like on the poutinge & size (large will have you taking half home with you if you dine in). Service is very fast. Food : 4/5
Authentic Quebec poutine!
Veggie poutine is really nice with 911 gravy
I have been working my way through the extensive menu options. So far my top choice was the Philly Cheesesteak Wrap and Sweet Potato Fries. As always very generous portions and reasonable pricing. Only disappointing item for me, was the Smoked Meat Grilled Cheese, I found there was too much mustard that overpowered the sandwich flavor. Definitely will continue to try more on future take-out visits. Wishing you success!
This is the most amazing restaurant and the staff are so caring! They went beyond themselves to ensure we had complete satisfaction! Will definitely be back!
Yummy poutine!! The Dessert Zango at the end was to die for.Must try spot.Beer also available Food
Just arrived home with a Montrealaise Poutine for myself for Fathers Day and my son chose a Cheeseburger Poutine from the Trenton Ontario location. I was EXTREMELY disappointed to find that despite the fact that ALL poutines on the menu clearly specify Cheese Curds, that this is 100% false advertising and a LIE! The only cheese on both of our Poutines was melted, stringy mozzarella cheese and nothing else. That is NOT a Poutine. All that is, is cheese and gravy on fries with the other toppings. i will NEVER be going back to ANY Poutineville for the rest of my life. Poutineville is a FRAUD and despite originating in Quebec, they have NO CLUE what makes a Poutine a TRUE Poutine. This is the Anglicized version of Fake Poutine. There are many local restaurants around Trenton and Belleville that make Poutines with REAL Cheddar Cheese Curds and therefore NO reason to ever go to Poutineville. If you prefer melted cheese and gravy on fries instead of REAL Poutine, then this would be a GREAT place 4 U.
The poutine, of course, is excellent, but the hotdog was way above my expectations!
May have been the best Buffalo chicken wrap I ve ever had. Very very good.
Good stuff. So many options.
Great place good service
Very clean and the staff and owner very accommodating. Would highly recommend
Absolutely amazing service and food! Poutine is my favorite food so it was a must try place new favorite place to get poutine
Recently, my wife and I decided to check out Poutineville Trenton. As we stepped in, the sunlight pouring through the windows made it a bit challenging to read the menu displayed on the screen. Thankfully, the girl working there was incredibly helpful and assisted us in navigating the menu and placing our order. While the Hat Trick poutine wasn t quite our favorite due to the peculiar texture of the hot dogs, the Butter Chicken poutine was a pleasant surprise. Though flavorful, we hoped for a bit more punch. We were particularly impressed with the service, especially the girl who helped us. Despite the counter setup, she was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Overall, Poutineville Trenton offers a diverse and fun menu and excellent service. Despite the minor hiccup with the screen glare, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning to try some more fun variations of poutine. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a delicious comfort food served with a side of hospitality!
Very tasty food And very quick service Must visit Food : 5/5
I dont think theres anything that tastes bad at this place. All good Vegetarian options: Thailand Food : 5/5 |
Went here for the first time yesterday, and likely the last. First of all, the service. I got a completely blank look when I walked in. No greeting at all! Not even a smile. She just stood there and waited for me to order. Then when a couple came in after me, they get a nice smile and a friendly hello. Not sure what happened there, just an observation. The food. 1. India/Butter Chicken poutine., adequate at best 2. Mac and Cheese wedges, also not great. 3. Pulled pork poutine. It was ok. Mainly because I really like pork. 4. Chicken wings, gross and weird. Speaking of the menu. Too many choices! They should cut down on the non-poutine menu items and focus more on quality!
Good poutine with good sauce but the cheese is too melty and what is a very ordinary burger tastes like freezing
Always good poutine when we go there, it is the best spot in town Vegetarian options: The original poutine is vegetarian Food : 5/5 |
Yesterday was my second visit at Poutineville Trenton. The first time was just a pickup. We dined in this time. Had the Classic and it was really good. Too much to eat so took the balance home to my husband and he had it for lunch today. He said it was really good even the next day. The food was excellent and the server was cute.
We ordered a classic poutine and crispy chicken. The food came out fast and was hot. My son loved it and he s extremely picky! The staff delivered it right to us at our table and the serving size was so big, we will have left overs later! Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere, very clean and quiet
I had the #1 hotdogs, the buns were grilled to perfection, hubby had the deluxe burger. Absolutely perfect
Wasn t bad. Very pricey for what you get. Burger was okay, poutine wasn t that great, but to be fair it wasn t eaten fresh in store but taken home.
Delicious poutine with freshly made fries. Staff and Yash (the owner) were friendly and suggested us the best combination of ingredients to try on poutine. It s hard to find a good veggie burger around, but no more looking far away. This place has the best veggie burger in town.
Our first time at Poutineville Trenton was wonderful! My husband and I got the Greek Poutine and we both agree it was one of the best Poutines weve ever had. We were so pleased with the many vegetarian options as well. Cant wait to come back and try more! Food
Great food, great service and plenty of cozy booths to sit at! Thank you and cant wait to come back and try more!
We ordered the Hangover and the pulled pork. Honestly it felt like there was no seasoning done. Id say pass. We wont be back. Food : 2/5
Great poutine
Good food. Staff is friendly and highly recommended.
I got the deal a 2 small hotdogs and a fry with pop. The price was alright for what I thought I d get $14.00. Honestly I should have known when I asked if the dogs came with coleslaw on top, I was looked at like I was crazy so I asked what came on it and was told mustard, onion, relish chopped lettuce. So I said ok. The dogs tasted like nothing buns toasted nicely, lettuce . Well that s not a Quebec dog . So disappointed as the owners on social media kept saying authentic Quebec.. not so much as I m from Montreal so it doesn t match up. Fries were alright. All in all I think I ve had my try at this place. Hope they do well but won t be going back personally.
I ordered veggie poutine and hangover poutine. Quick service and as always tasty. Food
Fries arent Crispy and in order to have a good poutine crisp fries are a necessity! Lady who works there is rude.
Just wish more was offered as a mini option as I could never eat a full one myself
Food was good, lots of options and friendly service.
Amazing food as always at Poutineville Trenton, great service.
Excellent Poutine for the Quinte area! I had the regular size poutine with gravy, curds, bacon and peas. Yum! Very hard working and friendly owner.
Um it taste great only thing was the bun to the hamburger was soggy maybe change buns, also just got a regular poutine some of the French fries were rock hard like they were heated in the microwave too long
Awesome food
Very disappointed, ordered a combo platter for my husband and I to share. The description said pickle spearS, mac and cheese wedges onion rings and two dipping sauces $19.95. There was only 1 fried pickle. We paid that much money for onion rings. What a rip off
Great food, great service!
Great owners. Fantastic food.
Absolutely, amazing food!
They have generous portions. Many different options are available. I have tried a few types of poutine and the hot dogs. There are many other items offered as well. The poutine was good. You can also build your own poutine. There are seats if you choose to eat in. Food
Absolutely delicious poutine and top-notch service! The food was mouthwatering, with the perfect balance of cheese curds, gravy, and crispy fries. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Cant wait to come back for more!
Delicious poutine.
One of the best poutine I ever had.
I found the very best veggie poutine in poutineville, where the atmosphere was good and staff is very friendly. Especially i had a great experience with the owner he is the best person and the test of the food was delicious.
Great food and service. We asked about gluten free options and the manager helped us find some great options. The fries are cooked in a dedicated fryer without any gluten products and the regular gravy is gluten free. It s pretty good, though they can t guarantee any cross contamination, we had no problems. Vegetarian options: Vegan options - gravy is vegan and gluten free Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options - can t guarantee cross contamination, but had no problems.
Poutineville nails the poutine game! Crispy fries, gooey cheese, and savory gravy a taste sensation! Friendly staff, cozy vibe my go-to spot for top-notch poutine!
Great food, I had the Philly cheese poutine and the kids split the regular size Farm poutine. Enough leftovers to do us for supper. On a side note I left my brand new phone at the table and they had it waiting for me when I returned with a mild sweat. In short great food and service. We will be back. Parking: Its Ontario there is always ample parking. Kid-friendliness: They could handle kids
service was fantastic - the employees were super friendly and the food was fantastic, great portions! will absolutely be back again.
This is still the old Burger Revolution. Same rude staff that spit in my food when I asked for the missing sauce to be added. Owner had to shut down and change the name. Owner does not respect his customers enough to address complaints. Nothing has changed except the name.
Huge fan of this establishment. Loved that they opened in Ontario. Loved everything about this place, gravy, fries and curd. All fresh and delicious.
Me and my 5 friends went to poutineville. I told the guy that we all are vegetarian and were looking for something spicy. They just nailed it. I had the most delicious poutine of my entire life. Very warm environment. Quick and very good service. Will come again when we come back to Trenton.
Awesome place to stop for a quick lunch off of the 401 or make a takeout order for game night or holiday. The front of house staff is incredible, the lady working was super sweet and very gracious when I asked to make a couple customizations/substitutions in my order. The chicken wrap was fresh and they made it as spicy as I asked, it also came out fast. The poutine was as good as any I ve had in Quebec if not better because the fries were crisped nicely. The restaurant was very clean and I actually decided to stay for lunch instead of takeout because it s a nice environment and service was excellent.
It was excellent! Friendly staff, great food.
Just went for a second visit today, first meal eaten there though. I ordered a Hangover poutine and omg it was sooooo delicious . The service was awesome & fast. Freshly cut fries, real cheese curds, and loads of toppings! My first visit made me not wanting to go back, but I still decided to give them a 2nd chance and it was definitely worth it ! I look forward to my next time, as their poutines have the same good taste than those back home in Québec.
My big boss sandwich was great, my poutin was undercooked and was a big disappointment. The French fries tasted old was just the worst poutine i have ever had coipdnt even eat it. Very disappointed that they call themself Poutineville and cant get it right. service was great. The biggest problem is the atmosphere was dirty, washrooms looked liked they havent been cleaned, were out of toilet paper, and soap, the floors feel very greasey and I almost slipped on the floor.
Great service, good music and amazing food and good portions.
Mediocre poutine through and through: the fries are thankfully double-fried and not soggy but maybe a little over-fried; cheese curds are ok, not spectacular; gravy is similarly just decent, not great. Better than most fast food poutines like A&W, Wendys, Costco, Harveys/Swiss Chalet, etc., but not what I expected from a franchise that started in Montreal. For example, The Works has a MUCH better poutine than this. Took a little over 10 minutes when there were a few other customers but didnt seem super busy.
Yum! Tasty poutine with plenty of cheese curds and very great service. Gravy and fries were delicious, tasted like a Montreal poutine! Staff was so friendly, came to our table to check on us with a smile. We are both so full, will definitely be back! Ps: it s licensed, hubby had a nice cold beer to wash down his poutine! Parking: Lots of space and convenient right off the highway!
Good food. Good price. Found one of my new stops.
The food was amazing!! Thank you will definitely be back
I was elated to find a great classic poutine in Trenton Ontario executed in a true québécois fashion while en route to Toronto. Not only did the poutine and sandwich I ordered exceed expectations, but the lady working was super delightful and courteous, she attended to me and my wife while we dined in as well as a slew of people waiting for takeout orders, with a huge smile and lovely presence. Great vibes and authentic poutine, just like my mom used to make in Quebec. It made my day to have such a nice service during my long trip
Hands down a great experience, staff was fantastic and the food was delicious! Best of luck with the restaurant Kosta and the team
Ordered the farmers poutine along with two pulled pork poutines and general Taos, the farmers was supposed to come with chicken, bacon, tomato, subbed the tomatoes for sour crème and they ended up subbing everything for just sour crème, the fries in all three were soggy and not cooked enough, overall bad experience
Great Spot! Lots of cool flavors to try
Was EXTREMELY Busy on the first day which you love to see, there was a small wait to order and then to pick up! Got the Philly and the Pulled pork and I gotta say they were both delicious but Im probably going to have to stick with the Philly. Since smokes has left the area there was a poutine void that needed to be filled and it looks like poutineville will do just that.
For the price of 30 dollars I felt the food lacking, very friendly staff okay atmosphere will try again in the future
This place is a must try! Very friendly staff, and owner made everyone feel welcome! I have enjoyed Poutineville in Montreal, and this is every bit as good! Fantastic poutine options that were well needed for the Quinte area! Wishing you guys great success.
Staff was very kind.. great environment
I ordered the classic poutine. I am not a fan of the fries. Not crispy at all, undercooked. The sauce was ok. I will still go back in a while when everything is sorted out.
Large menu with tons of options. Decent portions sizes. The service was fast and the woman at the cash was very friendly. I ordered the crispy chicken poutine. It had peices of processed chicken on top and a deep fried pickle. I found it to be very bland and lacking flavour. My son had the Philly poutine which he said was decent. My daughter had a classic and disliked the gravy. The fries were also a bit under cooked. The food is a bit over priced and overall we found it was nothing amazing. We spent about $65, including tip, on 2 regular sizes, a mini and 3 drinks. Not very likely that we would return.
Great poutine! Correct gravy and proper cheese curds. Only 4 stars as some of the fries taste like they have been sitting a bit.
Went yesterday for first time with daughter. Was disappointed fries were mushy and didnt taste fresh at all. For $40.00 I expected better
Great poutine! Great staff! Great service!
Amazing experience all around! Great food and service. A lovely establishment!
Staff was open to our suggestion of smaller pieces of green peppers on pizza poutine. We, wife and I, left happy and full. Shared poutine and tried cheese burger and spicy chicken. Will return again.
Very good. Agree with others where fries need to be cooked a little longer. Interior has not changed from Burger Rev Food : 4/5
Average, not thrilled with the different poutine choices after basic. Prices too high, no value menu choices Might go back and try other items some day
Ample seating area, excellent hospitality. Came hungry and left full with leftovers. Tasty food with a wide variety to choose from. Will be fine coming back, highly recommend.
The perfect poutine. Will he back to try one of the many different ones offered. Very welcoming staff and nice relax atmosphere.
Really tasty poutine. Very good service as well.
I promised a review, great poutine, good seating place, choice menu and nice people!!
Basic poutine, cold and several bad fries. Deep fried Dill pickles were hot and good.
What started so well ended in disappointment. First off I was a big fan of the original Poutineville restaurants in MTL and TO. This is an express / fast food version of those. First off the service was awesome. The people working were lovely and friendly and welcoming and the restaurant was clean and a good vibe. It pains me to say however that the food was severely lacking. While the buns were nice, the Hotdogs weren t cooked enough and had a lot of lettuce with hardly any sauerkraut. The poutines we got a classic a butter chicken and a general Tao chicken. I get that the fries wouldn t be very crispy after sitting in a container, but honestly they tasted undercooked and some of the fries were made from potatoes that had gone off a bit. The curds were fine, but not as plentiful as you d expect. Now for the worst part, for a brand that used to be known for high quality poutine, and one that boasts about Grass fed local beef being used. The chicken was so processed and rubbery that I couldn t even call it chicken. Honestly thought we had been given some soy based chicken substitute. It even smelled strange. Literally could ve gone to nearly any fast food chain and gotten real chicken instead and enjoyed it more. For a nearly $20 poutine, i would expect actual real chicken. Hell, raise the price and charge me more so I at least have the option to eat real chicken meat. I knew something was off when the signature Poutineville poutine with braised beef mysteriously absent from the menu as well as other typical Quebecois favourites. A huge letdown from a formerly great brand. This could be so good with some very easy improvements.
Very expensive..and its just meh food.
Tried the create your with 911 sauce Very good Food
Gravy was good. Curd wasnt squeeky (soft and stringy) fries were under cooked. I didnt see all the hype.
The poutine is great! I also tried the veggie burger since most places can make a decent burger, but not all places can make a good veggie burger. It was actually pretty good. Lacks a little flavour but certainly better than a lot of other places (*cough, Burger Revolution). Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.
