Shoeless Joe’s Sports Grill in Trenton

The folks at Shoeless Joes over at Homestead are absolutely amazing. From servers, especially my darling Mel, to the support staff. Always friendly, always efficient and they remember regulars by name. The host recently joked that it is my second home, especially during exam season and I couldnt agree more. Have been here a few times now. In the past, Ive never been a big fan of Shoeless Joes. This location has changed my mind, and I have become a repeat customer. The food is very good. Service has always been great, and I love the patio. So far, the sliders are my fav. but everything I have had from Philly cheese steak to burgers and wraps have been very good.

the food was good, and great service, but whoever is in the kitchen is very dill happy. everything, including the coleslaw, had dill all over it. which was wayyy too excessive. everything tasted like I was eating dill pickle chips. otherwise it was good.

What a fabulous experience at this location! My two children and I can during the weekend lunch rush and we were served by Hannah B- aka Hannah Banana . She was so wonderful to the kids and make sure our entire experience was exceptional! Everything was so lovely .

First time coming here, terrible experience. It was myself and my two friends and only 2 other individuals in the entire restaurant. It took 50 minutes to get our food and I had to call a manager (Beard and glasses) over to ask why it was taking so long, he was very rude and didn t even explain why or apologize or offer any sort of a discount. He then brought our food out rudely, and my steak was ice cold. I told him and he rudely said I ll go re cook it then and grabbed it and walked away. Then had to wait another 10 minutes and he disappeared. Our server then came out and offered to pay all our bills but we declined as it was not her fault and was not going to make her pay out pocket, absolutely ridiculous. The manager should have offered a discount or any sort of apology which he did not. Will never come again.

We Love this new restaurant in Trenton. Parking: Great accessibility parking Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair Accessibility is OK, but the bathroom is not to code or AODA, and the emergency button is in the wrong spot and completely interferes with the grab bar and is unsafe. Disappointing this can happen at a new place in 2024. Needs fixing as also a liability issue. Other than the washroom, it is fantastic.

We were greeted with a smile and made to feel very welcome. The vibe and atmosphere were great! Loved the huge patio. Everyone in our group was very happy with the food! This will be our new go-to spot!! Well done.

Kayley, my server, was spectacular. I asked her to recommend a meal for me, did she ever. A mountain of Nachos, promptly arrived at my table. Along with a Heineken, 0.0 beer, with a frosted mug. I also requested a glass of water with a lemon slice. When I asked for a second Heineken, she asked if I also wanted another water. Served with a frosted mug and a lemon slice without having to request them. Magnificent service. Kayley s friendly and professional attitude, certainly, made my meal completely enjoyable. Next time you re at Shoeless Joes, Trenton, ask for Kayley. You won t regret it. Spectacular food, atmosphere and sensational server.

Waitress was extremely friendly and attentive but there was a 25min wait time for a table when there was at least 10 empty tables that just needed to be cleaned off. Ordered Philly cheese steak and it arrived with no vegetables on it (should have green pepper, red pepper and onions) server said the kitchen staff ran out and didnt tell anyone. Not her fault, she was very apologetic. Came another time during happy hour. Bartender didnt mention happy hour, the little bar advertisements for happy hour were not present. She wanted to upsell me on a beer when I could just get the happy hour beer for $5. When I said, isnt it happy hour now? She said, oh is it?. The live music is excellent. The outdoor patio is excellent. The sports TVs are excellent.

Went this summer and had a really great diner. The service was really good and we never missed anything, Hannah B. Made sure we were always good. I just found the QR code in my wallet.

We arrived needed to wait to be greeted and seated. Once seated, we waited. Saw another couple seated and was being s waited on before for us. Informed the waitress we were there first. She said she d let our waiter know. Waited some more. Waiter came to the table, asked if we d been looked after. Asked what we d like to drink. Gave our drinks and food order. Asked for a virgin Daiquiri they didn t have a blender to crush the ice , so I just asked for water. Drinks came. Flatbread came by another wait person. No plates , napkins. Had to ask. The Philly flatbread was ok. Nothing special. Was charged for a daiquiri didn t receive. The other wait staff presented the bill. Paid cash.. tried to take the receipt away we said no. Going to leave and I ask my husband to look at the bill again. Noticed the charge. They gave us back the drink and tax money. Was had to ask for the receipt back. Will I be back ? Not a chance. One of our family members and friends were there shortly after it opened and they didn t have the best experience. We were excited for something new to our area. Too bad you disappointed us.

I had a fantastic lunch today, thanks to my great server Kyra who provided excellent service!

Server seemed unaware of menu items. Took over an hour for very simple dishes to arrive, appetizers at the same time as mains. Food was cold and undercooked. When she came back to ask how it was, we politely mentioned this. To her credit she asked if wed like to return it to the kitchen but after waiting an hour we werent prepared to wait another. We ate what we could and when she came to clear the table, the server room too many dishes, and spilled leftovers all over the seat beside one of the guests. It wasnt until then that the manager came to the table. He apologized for the food and commented on how poor the food looked and offered to comp one of the appetizers... 5 mains, 3 appetizers... None totally edible. But sure, comp the cheapest thing. Needless to say its our last visit. (Also we had added a protein to one of the meals, paid extra and instead of adding, they substituted.. no refund for that.) Dont waste your time or money here. Even fast food would be more worthwhile.

This is a nice new place. Very clean. Well appointed. Lots of large screen tvs within a nice modern atmosphere. Staff very attentive. The food was cooked very nicely and came out timely, hot and delicious. Hannah B was our server and was very bubbly, patient and engaging. We may make this our NHL game nite go to place. Tried to go there for dinner on a Thursday night around 7:00 in the evening. Half the tables were empty, but we were told that the wait time was going to be 15 to 20 minutes. Ended up going to Pipers Arms around the corner. If they can t run the restaurant effectively and efficiently, then I suggest they close their doors.

Extremely disappointing! 2.5 hours for a dinner service... absolutely unacceptable. I ordered the philly cheese steak (Boston pizza favorite) according to the menu. Lets just say the food went right through me... Asked for a non alcoholic cocktail as I was discreetly trying to remain sober and they could not provide one. pretty sad experience, beautiful location too bad!

For a large group our food service was very efficient. Our server Hannah B was very friendly and communicated with us about the delay in drinks from the bar. The food and drinks we ordered were accurate and all food was delicious when it arrived at the table. I would return again and would be glad if I was able to have Hannah B again.

I am super disappointed that I have to leave this review. I went to SJ s last Friday. It was my birthday, a beautiful evening and there was live entertainment. It was set to be a great evening with my friends and neighbours. We were seated on the lovely patio, but then the issues began. It took quite a while for a wait staff to arrive and even longer for them to return to take our drink order. After quite some time, the drinks arrived and they were AWFUL. The Aperol Spitz had no bubbly wine, the Moscow mule was almost all ginger beer and some God awful purple drink that tasted like a watered down Mr. Freeze. Drinks ended up being all returned, and then the one hour plus wait for food began. During this wait, tons and tons of door dash orders were coming out and getting taken to be delivered. The wait staff never once checked in to let us know about the delays etc. When our food was brought, we did inquire about the length of time for the food to arrive. The wait staff said the kitchen was backed up with take out orders, and nothing much they could do about it. Finally!! Our food arrived, and were were starving by this point. (The live singer during this time was amazing ) We all dug in and the food was cold. (minus the sweet potato fries and wings ) The mashed potatoes and vegetables were ice cold, the burgers had no warmth to them at all. Some meals were sent back and some of us were too nervous to send food back, so it was kept and eaten or picked at. Near the end the bar manager did come over to apologize, which we appreciated. As it was my birthday, they were bringing me a complimentary dessert but it took upwards of 25 minutes to arrive, and another 20 minutes after that for the bills to arrive. After paying and leaving, we noticed that no discount at all had been given to anyone. In my opinion, our meals should have been free. Also, there is the option to turn off ordering on Door Dash, which should have been done. Waiting on the customers at the establishment should have taken precedent. All in all, a highly disappointing experience. dana

New location...Saturday evening ..beautiful patio!! The place was empty, service was terrible ...nice girl ...not good service. Food was okay ...Asian salad was fantastic. Sweet potatoes fries ..soggy, bland and no offer of dipping sauce. Wrap was a half wrap...soggy. Not a great experience.

It was dinner out for hubbys birthday. From the moment we were seated by Camryn to our service by Mike and Brooke, we were treated like family. Hubby even got a free birthday dessert. We sat indoors, but noticed others on the patio enjoying the entertainment. Luckily indoors is large, it was a hot day, the doors open all the way, so we could feel like we were outdoors, without the heat.

Was a disappointing visit. We were pretty much the only customers in the restaurant and our waitress seemed more interested in socializing with the other staff then to pay attention, had to repeat things multiple times and it was still wrong when it came. My husband s food came cold but at this point just ate it to be done and leave. Krysten was our waitress, never did have a manger come over to see how things were again if it was busy this would have just been seen as that but we both agreed we won t be back.

I recently visited your restaurant with my boyfriend. We had heard from friends that it was a good place to eat and have a drink. I was sceptical as I have been told this for different places and they turn out to be a horrible experience. This was not the case for your restaurant. I believe this was mainly the result of our waitress. I did not get her name, but I think it was Paige. She has long red hair if that helps. This waitress was very attentive without being in our face constantly. She was very polite and helpful with menu suggestions. If all of your staff are like her than you are a very lucky employer. She is an asset to your business. The food was great and the service exceptional. We will definitely be back.

We go at least one a week. Food is always good. But tonight we were in a bit of a rush and our waitress was excellent. Alway kept the drinks full. Darien your the best.

Great atmosphere and patio but that s where it ends. Waited an hour and 10 mins for a buffalo chicken wrap and fries and it was only about half full. Food came out cold but the quality was pretty good. There was live music but the audio was so bad you couldn t understand what it was as the speakers were making distortion noises and buzzing sounds. The venue is great hopefully they can staff the kitchen properly to fix the wait times. The waitress was great and apologized but obviously not her fault.

Been waiting to leave a review that doesnt reflect the growing pains of just opening. We were greeted by Mike, very pleasant and jovial, server was efficient and never missed a step. Food came out in perfect time and was hot and prepared well. Drinks were never left empty, many check-in throughout the meal. Was a pleasant evening and would definitely recommend. Only note, server needs to put her name on the bill for reference as I would have mentioned it here. Vegetarian options: Cheese tortellini very flavourful
