Amazing all the way around

First visit here was great. Food was amazing. Servers were friendly. Ordered food for take out Dec 5th. I showed up around the time they told me it would be ready. Had to wait about 15 minutes. Which I dont mind honestly, for fresh food to drive home. The food was nice and hot. I even took a video of the steam rolling out of the box when I put it in my vehicle. Typically I check pizza before I take it home. Our experience was phenomenal the first time, that it didnt even occur to me to check. To my disappointment when I got home. Our pizzas were burnt. One more than the other. The center of the pizza however, was still very much undercooked. Overall, huge let down.

Great food and atmosphere, but the service time is really slow. The bartenders/wait staff seem to prioritize the bar area and delivery orders. I went back a second time after a good first visit, but the wait staff didnt come over to see and I waited for 10 minutes. I just walked out and I dont think they even noticed. If they take notice of this and fix it they would have a solid place, maybe just need a bit of coaching.

Placed an order lastnight for a pancetta bacon pizza , got home it was completely filled with to much cheese, undercooked , slimy definitely not done well at all , placed another call to explain offered me a free pizza, waited another 20 minutes just for the same thing to happen again to the next pizza . Service is going to Hell

Food is mediocre. December 11, 2024 Main issue is the fact I called to place an order and they immediately said Can you hold? . Fast forward 20 minutes and I m still on hold. Walked into the restaurant while still on hold and they are all just standing around talking. Explained and showed them my phone with the call still on and the, who I assumed was the owner, started laughing and walked into the back. They have the music so loud in there that they can t even hear their phone? Also how can you forget someone on hold for 20 minutes!! (Don t remember the exact date for this one but it was around the time they first opened) I ordered a chicken alfredo, just for it to be so runny and the pasta not be to cooked completely. The person working claimed they told the cook not to send it out because it didn t look right, yet they still sent it out. They took the charge of my pasta off the bill but didn t bother to remake the pasta. Just left me sitting there eating uncooked pasta and very runny sauce.

My takeout vegetarian pizza with extra cheese was a letdown. The overwhelming saltiness and insufficient cheese made it a waste of money and food.

Last weekend I went with some friends and the Mac and cheese and spicy bbq chicken pizza omg, just next level!! The service was very fast and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Definitely we ll be back

I went to visit my friend in Trenton and they took me out for dinner at Sutha s Pizza and Bar Grill and it was a very good dinner the taste of the pizza is very tasty and I will go back again definitely.

I had my partner call to order 2 pizza for pick up. She had to explain 3 times to the worker on the phone the order. One large spicy pizza and one large bacon. Straight off the menu. Nothing extra. Arrived approximately 30mins after placing the order. She told a worker she was here to pick up her order. It took 15 minutes for the order to be brought out. And it was only one pizza. After explaining 3 times on the phone the order, it was still messed up. Also 5 girls were standing around doing nothing while waiting for the order that wasnt even completed. This is my first time ordering from Suthas and it will be the last time. The incompentance of the employees and lack of customer service is glaringly apparent. The pizza is mediocre at best. I do not recommend this establishment and wish I never wasted my time or money. They opened this restaurant to bring options for good pizza to trenton LOL what a joke. They wasted our time and had no recourse to try and fix the situation. I really hoped this would of been a new option Trenton but sadly it is not. Do not waste your time or money here They do not care it is obvious. Spend your time and money elsewhere! Signed angry and disappointed customer.

We had dinner at Suthas on Sunday. We had the sausage and shrimp pasta and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I can hardly wait to go back.

I ordered online and got a pizza and garlic bread took them 30 minutes to prepare the food and made my door dasher wait there for the order to then tell him that they were only giving me the garlic bread and when it got here it was luke warm and burnt. Not a good experience!!!

Had a really good first experience dining in (usually we door dash from here) from a great atmosphere to an excellent and cheerful server. We will return.

Stopped on our way from Toronto to Ottawa to pick up two wood oven pizzas. It was quick and friendly staff. Only 5 minutes off of the 401.

Called to order pizza and were told that they do not offer delivery. No big deal but we found them on doordash. They should have just recommended when we called. We ordered spicy BBQ chicken pizza and samosas. Samosas were great. The pizza was super disappointing. Tasted like the base of the pizza had been washed with the oil from black olives. Unfortunately we most likely wont be retrying

I havent had the privilege of dining there however tried to reserve a table for 8 and was told they have their limit to come to the door and will try to find us a seat. I myself and another are disabled so not an option to take a chance. I wish me and my party could have tried your menu however party of 8 lost out. I really was looking forward to food and show tonight to also support Quinte Health Care

Best pizza in the city, good quality ingredients, think they use Stanislaus tomatoes! Nice staff and had a chance to meet the owner and his son, great people. Will be coming again soon.

I would like to first say a big thank you to the owner who was kind enough to give our whole family free mozzarella sticks for my daughters birthday. She was absolutely ecstatic! The experience at this pizza joint expressed a level of upmost professionalism and warmth that upholds the values of a smaller town like Trenton. As soon as we entered we felt extreme levels of love and were immediately welcome to a table even though they were quite busy. To say the food was good is an understatement, it quickly became my wife s favourite pizza joint whenever we re in town. The waiters were equipped with extensive knowledge on all items on their menu and my son even took a quick photo with one of them! (They loved his ninja turtle mask) Overall the food combined with the atmosphere was something we did not expect when finding a restaurant to celebrate my daughter s special day, they made it even more special and we thank Suthas Pizza for that. Definitely recommend this place. 12/10

Good food and a great vibes

I would just like to share that they are very wonderful here. I really enjoy the food. The karaoke with DJ Dan is absolutely amazing and the best part if they make a mistake they promise to make it up to you anyway they can. Be a refund or a new order all together. I am very satisfied with there business and I will be returning. I would like to mention I was one of their first customer when they offered the free pizza and again amazing service then even when they were so swamped. On time pick up, they forgot to add my salad to the order so I had to drive back to get it, The chicken Alfredo was very thick and absolutely no taste, The spaghetti was also bland, other then a spicy kick every now and then.. I unfortunately did not finish the Alfredo..

I have only ever had good experiences with Suthas. The food is exceptional, and the people are lovely.

I didn t know you had to order sauce with your pizza. Manager doesn t seem to care apparently it is your problem if you don t know.

Really disappointed in the way staff handled themselves. Five staff members at the bar hanging out while I see other customers waiting for drinks or their bill. The bar tender has an attitude problem, the food was par but when I have to stop my meal because my family is wondering where our server went to for a correction in our order we received is deplorable. The management doesnt care either they just want to push food and drinks out the door while the fast food delivery people seem to get preferential treatment verses the patrons that dine in at the establishment. Dont waste your time or money as there are other places that truly need your business

On our way to Ottawa with my friends and we start looking for restaurant and we find Sutha s PIzza Bar and grill at Trenton and we decided to dine dine in out of curiosity and it was amazing food which we never have at Toronto. Highly recommended and our way back we never missed this place.

Place is awful. Took my family there for food. Sat for 30 mins and no one came to ask our drink order or food or anything. Walked out. Never eat there

Not impressed. I waited 45 min at the bar for my pizza. When I got it it was cold and very chewy. I understand it was busy, but those girls had NO idea what they were doing. Last time I was there went for lunch not busy at all . Waited 40 min for a wrap. We are POSITIVE they gave our order to someone else. The food the staff the environment is amazing by far one of the best restaurants to grace this area my best wishes to Sutha may your business flourish and continue to prosper. So happy to see a wood fired pizza place that offers a clearly labeled vegan option. The dough was nice and thin, toppings generous and char on the pizza was perfect. A lot of green and black olives but I love olives so I don t mind. It would be nice to offer optional vegan cheese as well - that would put it over the top! Overall, great find!

Have been here twice. Once before and once after all the renovations. Both times have been amazing food, service and price. Absolutely recommend.

A really bland, hard yet soggy gluten free crust. Ive tried twice with different toppings and sauces. The first time I ordered roasted garlic as a topping and the pizza had forty plus cloves of garlic... A huge lack of care shown by whoever made the pizza. The second time (tonight) the crust was so burnt I couldnt taste anything else. Somehow the sauces, cheese, and toppings here are bland and flavorless and the lack of care shown by the kitchen on both occasions leads me to a very easy review of: never coming back.

This is seriously good pizza. Our table had the Marguerite and the omnivore. Both excellent. Lovely fresh clean interior and super service. Will definitely be back.

Went to this restaurant for the first time with family. We heard about it from flyers in our mail. My wife and i shared the House Pizza, which was very good and enough food to fill us up. Service was good, taking our orders for drinks and food in a timely manner. Menu offered lots of choices, and pricing was good. My only negative comment is about the pizza oven. Although the pizza was delicious, the burning smell of wood burning pizza oven was very noticeable and caused an irritation to my wifes eyes. There is a large, covered patio that we can choose to avoid the smell. I recommend this restaurant to families and pizza lovers.

Door not automatic or level entry. Restaurant is all one level with tables and booths. No accessible parking marked in the lot.

This was our first time here. The restaurant was warm and cozy. The aroma of the wood fired oven smelled so good..Our server Deborah was so very friendly and made our dining experience wonderful, her service was outstanding. My husband and I each ordered a pizza and were amazed by the quality, taste and texture. The crust was perfect, thin and crispy, but tender. You could taste each topping on the Pizza. This is our new favorite restaurant Pizza. We look forward to coming back to try other items on the menu. Wood fired pizza with generous toppings. Theres even a bar inside if you wanted a beer while you wait. But youre not waiting long. Nice place to hang out for sports, etc as well. Definitely recommended.

Excellent food. Went with a group of 8 including two kids. Tried most of the appetizers that were all great, pizza was excellent, my wife loved her pasta and they split a posts dish in two for the kids. Everybody very polite. Will be coming back. Vegetarian options: They have some veggie options and a vegan pizza Kid-friendliness: Dont have a kids menu but split a posts dish into two plates for my kids.

We ate at Suthas a few times. Each visit was great! Good food, pleasant servers, nice atmosphere. The honey garlic wings and onion rings were the best! We will definitely keep going there and will tell all of our friends. My husband brought home a pizza first visit and that prompted us to go back. It was delicious!!

Dropped in for a late lunch with my wife. Waitress was fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. Had a Caesar salad and wood oven pizza. Pizza was delectable. I wish the dressing was mixed in with the Lettuce and cheese but it was good.

First time being there, all 4 of us ordered different pizzas , and ALL of us really enjoyed the pizza, such a great variety for your pizza right down to 4 different sauces, numerous cheeses etc You won t be disappointed Food

A wonderful, fairly new restaurant. We had the Omnivore Pizza. It was a delicious thin crust wood fired pizza filled with various, meat tomatoes, olives , cheese etc. The wine was a good price too. We would definitely go again as they had a great looking menu as well and would look forward to trying other dishes.

Absolutely amazing

I dont even know where to begin. First off, the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was inviting! But... we were seated, and it was almost 15 minutes for a server to come to our table. It took 27 minutes for our drinks to arrive, its not like it was anything fancy (2 draft, water and sprite) and the person pouring the beer didnt know how to tilt a glass, so she had to call another server to help.. had no idea it took a team to pour a glass SMH. We finished our drinks before our server came to take our orders. As we waited 45 minutes for starters to arrive, we noticed almost every table had extremely long waits for over cooked food, or just straight up wrong orders. One table in particular had their order wrong THREE TIMES before they just decided to leave since they were there for over 2 hours. Our starters came out, all I ordered were mozzarella sticks and they were dark brown, extremely well done. But they took them back and remade some, which turned out good. We couldnt help but notice not one person that handled the food wore gloves, or hair nets.. the owner working by the oven was continually wiping sweat with his bare hands and touching all the food with said sweaty hands. It made us all very hesitant to eat our mains once they arrived after waiting over an hour an a half.. one pizza was burnt and inedible, we returned it with no intention of a reorder. The pizza I ordered tasted very good. So we all tried one piece. I am posting this the day after our visit because everyone at our table who tried a piece of that pizza is SICK AF today. We were not impressed with the wait times, the food quality, lack of sanitary procedures.. AND ID ALSO LIKE TO ADD, it was NOT busy in there.. it only seemed busy because they had to remake almost every tables food, some more than once. I will not be returning any time soon.

Despite a beer being dumped on my 3 year olds head I would say it was a great night. The server felt terrible and I understood mistakes happen.

I was served spoiled, uncooked food here. When making the staff aware of this, the person on the phone was unconcerned and just told me that I had to contact Doordash for a refund. There was no offer to remake the food or to give something else off the menu. They did say sorry but didnt seem invested in resolving the issue. See photos attached of the chicken I was served. It is clearly spoiled and discoloured, it smelled and tasted terrible. Even if it wasnt, the calzone itself was uncooked on the inside. I did end up getting sick later in the night. 1/5 stars.

This place is not at all safe for customers. First of all they took too much time to prepare food and when we ask about the status one guy who wqs baking pizzas got aggressive and took my friend to blind spot where cameras were not working and tried to punch him!! Very pathetic service never recommand anyone to visit this place. God saved us from them their behaviour and language was like gangsters.!!

Pizza was good, service was good. The dining room was done up nice, but there are large TVs with news on all the time. I m not interested in learning about all the people dying everywhere while I m trying to have a nice meal with my family. I would go back to eat for sure though.

What a breakaway hit for Trenton! Without a doubt the best pizza in quinte west! While we did pickup (dont use Doordash, youll pay alot more in Doordash fees), the interior is very nice with a great sportsbar feel. Tried three of there pizzas, all were phenomenal. Well priced, fast (20mins to make all three pizzas) and delicious food.

To loud wouldn t give us a sample to try a beer to see if we liked it before ordering it and ordered a pizza no onions which we waited to long for. And got onions on it. Won t go back. And would not recommend

From the moment we walked in we received fast and friendly service. Tearra was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. As we waited for our food, it was incredible to watch the staff move and communicate with such an efficient manner. Very excited to come back again.

Mediocre pizza, ordered a large meat lovers and I only live about 2 minutes away, it was cold when I got it. The dough just doesn t taste very good, overall I think the wood fired gimmick is a flop but the pizza visually looked great. Not worth spending money here over the chains that taste better around town for half the price I fear...

Everything on menu is tasteless, wings to poutine to pizza extremely mediocre. Would rather eat from frozen food section of Walmart then dine here.

Great pizza

This place could be 5 stars no problem if they deal with 1 major issue. They need to figure their pizza oven out. The pizza tastes good but the middle of the pizza is falling apart and undercooked and the crust and outer part of the pizza is almost well done. On my second visit, I asked for the pizza well done(just to see how it came out) but i dont think they remembered to do that because it was the exact same as the other regular pizza we ordered. When I take the pizza home and reheat it in the oven, its much better than what comes out of the oven for dining in.

Finally got to try Sutha s! The pizza was great, service was fantastic with very friendly staff. A beer (tall boy), pop (canned) and large Sutha special was $32 incl hst, so reasonable. I love wood fried pizza and they do it well. Nice to see what they have done to the building as well.

You need to dim the lights add some tables make it more comfortable to dine in

The pizza was very thin crust and floppy. It could have used a touch more cheese for my liking. But the pizza was good. Also had the deep fried pickles and samosas which were very good.

The food was So good the service was amazing when I took my first bite of pizza it tasted there a water fall in my mouth.

This up and coming restaurantis a MUST in Trenton! Friends... Ive been to Naples and Rome Italy and have NOT tasted a pizza comparable in yearsssss. This Fungi Pizza is incredible highly highly recommend. The sauce is impeccable, the cheese is delicious.. and the the leftovers Im devouring now! :) Thank you! Tried Suthas today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! Tried the cheese and pepperoni pizzas.

Tried Suthas on valentines day for late lunch. The deep fried mushrooms and garlic bread awesome. The pizzas awesome too, nice pieces of sausage and lots of meat and was very pleased with the cornmeal. Will be back to try something else. Service was very quick, friendly & attentive.

Have heard from many friends that this place is average or less than but we decided to try for ourselves. Called to order two pizzas for take out. We were not able to pay by CC over the phone. We headed over to pick up our order and made our way inside. It is not very welcoming. Staff had trouble locating the order and kept asking if we were someone else. We did get our correct order once they found it. Our pizzas had a lot of toppings but they were burnt yet floppy, causing the toppings to fall off when you pick up a slice. This pizza left a alot to be desired. The only positive was that pizza was 45% off. Would have been much more disappointed had we paid fill price. Not a place I would consider again. Edit: Reply to Owner- I placed my reciew the same day we ordered. When placing the order, my mother believed they told her the pizza was 45% off. I guess she was not correct. I am definitely reviewing the right place, but thanks for checking. $37.00 for burnt, floppy pizza is still far too much.

We just had this pizza tonight and it was fantastic! Some of the best pizza Ive ever had and Ive traveled the world twice! Thin crust woodfired and delicious! I want to go back already and bring more people to enjoy it! We had take out so I havent dined in so perhaps that will be next. Food

Did take-out twice, really enjoyed the pizza. Cooked well tastes great. The sit-in area is done well. There is the smell of the wood fire and fresh pizza, quite inviting. We did not eat in, so I cannot really comment on the entire feel, therein 4 stars for atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Really debated on 3 or 4 stars. First time trying so we tried a few things. We had delivery. We live close but were impressed on how fast it came. The food was maybe luke warm except wings were quite warm. Did not understand the calzones. It was like maybe a folded pizza? Mostly dough. Disapointed in those, especially for the price. House special pizza reminded us of tomassos but it was really good. Wings were great(garlic parmesian)! Kids liked getting french fries with them but veggies were soft likely from the steam. Prices were higher when delivery or at least compared to menu on site. Needed delivery though. We will try again. There are other pizzas on the menu we would like to try.

We had our business Christmas party here and everything was wonderful. The staff were awesome and the food was terrific. Our waitress was the best she kept all 25 us entertained and we never waited for anything. Every one of us loved our meal. I ordered a medium vegetarian pizza. It was a takeout.I clearly mentioned that i need only 4 toppings. I was in a hurry so didnt checked it while picking it up. They put all the veggi toppings and on top of that the 4 toppings which I asked to put. They charge me 30$ for medium pizza.So rediculous. Never ordering again. Waste of money. I have mentioned clearly while ordering. the lady should have listened to what I have just said. Dont blame customer for your miscommunication in work.

Been here 4 times since openinng. Pizza is absolutely delicious, sauce is perfect and the crust is crisp. Dine in is better as it doesn t travel well from Trenton to Brighton. Just a personal note, the roasted garlic is very pungent, so go easy. I get that Suthas is new. Some reviews bashed the staffing, small growing pains for a new business. They seemed to have ironed this out.

Just had 2 calzone from take out they where so burnt that all you could taste. Wood oven may be good if you know how to use it. What a waste of $57,00 but lesson learned and wont be repeated.

Parking is horrible. Walked in, got stared at by the servers for about 10 mins before someone told us to seat ourselves. Sat there with my family for 25 mins with just the menus in our hands. I understand when they said that their computers crashed (which i overheard not from them telling us) that service would be slow cause they hand to hand write everything but that experience eas brutal. Ive been to other resturants that had same issue but we at least got drinks and order in or even at minimum acknowledged that we were there. They even served the people behind us that just showed up and then just walked passed us. Can tell when walking in that it was chaos in there. Will never go back.

This is a difficult review, I feel really bad for the Servers as they are run off their feet and they kept apologizing to their customers who havent received their meals from the kitchen. If you order pizza, you will have no issues receiving them, but anything coming out of the kitchen portion of the restaurant good luck receiving the food. The table beside us who were there longer than us, got there meals sporadically and everyone was eating at different times which is absolutely ridiculous for a restaurant to do to their customers. I ate half my meal and my son never got his until after I spoke to the manager, then it became a priority. We took it to go, I highly doubt I will be coming back anytime soon.

i just ordered the sirloin burger that includes an onion ring on the burger and fries for side. Fries are slightly undercooked, and the burger is missing the onion ring (which is specifically why i ordered this burger, and after confirming with the girl on th phone). Otherwise, the food is good and the price is best in town. I will definitely be back, as this was my 2nd time ordering, but the no onion ring kind of sucked lol

Pizza was good but was absolute mayhem when I went in to pickup. Employee who directed me where to pickup order apologized for disorganization and said coworkers need to take a step back. They need someone to take control and organize operations. Dont know if it was because it is a new business or new employees. This wood fired Pizza is incredible. Weve had Hawaiian both time. And yes weve been there two times and it has been open long that tells you its incredible pizza thin crust. Advise to order by phone, about a 40 min wait. Very busy,loud music and on observation still have a few kinks in organisation ,however the best gluten free pizza I have ever had. This is an excellent place for pizza.. no thought needed man. Its the Way it should still b made. I am conflicted with this review. I chose takeout instead of dine in. But what I did notice was a highly understaffed establishment. At least for the servers. Kitchen staff appeared to be in abundance. The manager who was the only waitress, admitted that their waitresses had called in. My issue is that the manager who was the only waitress on staff was running around and unable to properly keep up whole time. The Owner did absolutely nothing and just watched the chaos unfold. Its obvious that the manager/ waitress was stressed. And her possible attitude towards the other staff and how she treated them could have been a result of her being pulled in too many directions and not being able to properly serve customers. So Im trying not to make a judgment of how she treated the other staff members. But I feel there may be a correlation to why the waitresses did call in sick. As for my dinner, I ordered a hamburger and fries. It was a decent meal although my french fries were still not cooked to my satisfaction even after I stressed how I would like them. Its very hard to properly judge this place based on this first experience as they have only been open for one month and could still be working the so-called bugs out of the system but I can honestly say I dont think I will return.

I ve gone in to the restaurant to eat as well as ordered take out/delivery a few times now. It s very hit and miss as far as food quality goes. I really love the margherita pizza. My recent experience was ordering from Door Dash where when ordering a build your own pizza your sauce and cheese are optional toppings and if you don t select them as add ons, you get dough with whatever other options you selected. Normally this would be formatted that you can select no sauce or no cheese as an option for those that prefer without, but sauce and cheese should not be thrown in amongst the optional toppings that they charge you extra for when ordering a pizza. It does not specify that sauce and cheese need to be selected and anyone ordering pizza would assume that comes on it. When I called to speak with the manager, she had no interest in helping and didn t care that I would not be returning as a customer.

So I have to edit my original review unfortunately. Went last night for a dinner with my roommate and I was shocked at the attitude of the manager/bar tender. She was so rude to the waitresses in front of us as we were waiting to be seated. It s been a long time since I ve seen anything so unprofessional. She was rude, talking down to and insulting to a waitress that was just trying to seat us. Her words were gross and it was really uncomfortable to watch. She walked around trying to look like she was someone important, but she s clearly a massive bully and probably not long for the job. They have WAY too many staff for the amount of customers in the restaurant, I m really not sure how they are profitable. One guy kept walking back and forth from the kitchen in a black leather jacket trying to look important, but it just made things feel awkward cause he d just stand in front of the cashier and stare at the door that leads to the kitchen and just kept walking back into the kitchen and then back out and stared at the door again. It was weird. Our waitress couldn t answer simple questions about the food. When we called ahead we were told that the spicy chicken is impossible to make not spicy.. so we didn t bring my kids turns out the spicy chicken is spicy because they squirt hot sauce on the bun.. the chicken isn t spicy at all and could absolutely be made without adding the sauce.. so thought that was weird too. The appetizers are cooked from frozen which was obvious since they were mushy yet fried. Just overall poorly run, with some staff that shouldn t be in customer service and unfortunately even worse though the pizza tastes great I don t see this place lasting long unless they make some massive changes.

Gluten Intolerant person had a reaction after consuming the Gluten Free pizza. We can t definitely say this was the cause, but those who require gluten free diets please keep this in mind. This was the only difference in food consumed that day. While the person on the phone when I ordered was extremely friendly, I was left disappointed in the pizza. Was told 45 minutes and they d call if it was ready earlier. No call, so we arrived at 40min and our pizzas were ready, and no longer hot. By the time we drove the 10min home they weren t even lukewarm anymore.

I would give the food 5 stars but we went two night in a row and the first day, great pizza, cooked perfectly, second day they served us a burnt pizza the crust was way too hard to eat. I would recommend this place but be sure to ask for a new pizza if you receive a burnt one not worth the money otherwise. I let the server know and they didnt even offer a discount or a store credit.
