Some nice people will be a waitress/waiter for you. However, as I type this review out, I was there today and ordered a pizza salmon dish, got food poisoning, and just dealt with the second round. If you eat here, make sure to inspect the food before putting it in your mouth.
Honestly I love this place but tonight I’m not very happy I’ve only had this 1 bad experience so it’s not going to lower how I feel about them! I didn’t get both my hand rolls in my order Also my sushi had just the tail in the tempura roll in the 2 end pieces hoping it was just a bad night !
Very clean place, well staffed, and good environment. But the most important part, the food, lacked an immense amount of flavor. The sushi that came out was very bland and unremarkable. When I finally tried the red curry I was very pleasantly surprised though! The curry is excellent, but ghee can’t be said for very dry shrimp, under ripe avocado and minimal sauces. Fresh though!
Don't have many pics from this visit. Forgot to take them. Been to this buffet many many times. Food is always excellent and fresh. Cost is fair and reasonable
Great atmosphere, very nice staff and service. However the food tasted okay. I ordered a Bangkok Street Style Pad Thai which i found tasted a bit too sour and the flavor profiles did not match my expectations. Overall this was a decent place with clean and amazing atmosphere but the taste wasn't there.
Went to celebrate, found bugs in our food. No compensation or anything just a “I’m sorry would you like to order again?” Unprofessional and rude, we will not be coming back.
We had a very mixed experience at this sushi and Thai restaurant. The place can be a six star if they really put their efforts together. It was a slow Monday and all the window seats were available, but they guided us to a darker area near a wall that was chipped all along the length of the restaurant. I recommend a piece of molding to completely cover the eye sore. There were some nice plants and real fish that saved the look a bit at least. Tea was served upon demand quickly. However, this isn't how I like to regulate the temperature of my sips. I prefer a thermos left on the table. Now the food part. It could have been much less salty, fried and full of MSG. I know it's AYCE and this is fairly common, but some of the sauces and items were so salty they were not edible. It's too bad since the beef was very above average had it not been drowned in sauce. The soup menu was extensive, but they all tasted below average. The Thai lemon soup was actually spoiled, and the waiter was disrespectful by claiming I don't like it. Thai lemon soup is my favorite and I am extremely familiar with all the restaurants variations. However, there were a few items that were actually better than any of the places I tried. The shrimp Tempura was excellent, and the mango salad was unique. Had they salted the mango a bit less it would have been extraordinary. The regular salad was also very fresh. Finally the dessert was fine, except the fried banana was sliced in thin pieces. This would be great if you wanted to simply have a dessert after a light meal, but thin battery slices after an all you can eat meant more heavy batter than actual banana. The strawberry ice-cream, mango cake and chocolate cake was good and a pleasant less common find. Finally, the owners were extremely nice and ready to help. If I would have started the dinner with talking to them instead of the employees things could have been much better. They were helpful in solving the food issues and problems with the tablet. Note: if you remove an item on the tablet it still goes in the cart, so you may end up with more than you think. Overall I think this place will actually improve as time goes by, and has potential to be the top restaurant in the city.
Really enjoyed this. Had the all you can eat lunch. Everything was delicious. Ordered too much at the end as the entrees were bigger than we expected. Would like to see more explanation on menu as to what it is. Some things had spicy sauce on them for example. Also description of size. When we ordered tempura, wings, spring rolls etc, it was obvious that you only got one, so we knew to order 2 if we each wanted one. When it came to veggie rolls, I didn't realize that you'd get 8 so ordered too much. Mango salad was wonderful as was udon with chicken. They give seniors discount. Next time, we'll try dinner menu. Food comes very quickly and service was excellent. Green tea $1 and quick to refill.
In my opinion, the best all you can eat sushi in the area! Everything was fresh and hot, there are some really good rolls and service was amazing.

Its probably the best sushi location in Quinte West. The staff are friendly and attentive. There are two things that I would say detract from this restaurant. 1. The decor is old and worn... could use some updating and replacing. 2. As it is the heart of downtown Trenton, the parking is not the best, as its down the street on the opposite side of the road.

Went for dinner recently & won t be back again. We had a mix of sushi, chicken dishes & other hot apps. Very underwhelming experience. The sushi was SO bland, no exceptional flavours. The avocado was full of spots (going bad/not fresh). The only items that tasted great were the chicken. Disappointed as I was looking forward to trying a new restaurant. Trenton Sushi buffet is way better in town.

My wife and I have tried many restaurants in the Quinte area and this is by far our favorite. The All-You-Can-Eat option is an excellent value if youre really hungry...especially at lunch time. Anyone who has ranked it lower than 5 stars needs to give it another shot.

Reasonable price. Sashimi were fresh but the cuts are thin. I hope they add more variations to the menu.
Been going there for a long time the new waitresses are rude and poor service we call the owner he felt bad saying he was sorry but this time some of the food not has good has it use to be cold curry cold soup cant wait for dragon roll to open back up
Delicious food
The food is good all the times I ve gotten things here but on the website it doesn t tell you there is a delivery fee. I am in down not even 5 minutes away and the delivery fee was $6!! That s a ridiculous amount for a delivery fee especially when it is in town! Then when I called asking what the $6 extra charge that was written in marker was because it didn t say what it was for, the lady that answered was really condescending and tried to make ME out to be the dumb one in this situation when it didn t even say there was a delivery fee on the bill online! For reference, skip the dishes has no delivery fee so the fee should say right on the bill online, you can t just assume people know. On top of that, not knowing I was being charged for delivery fee, I gave the delivery person a tip so all together the bill was over $40 when the original bill which it said online was $28! Good to know that I won t be tipping if I get something from there again to make up for the stupidly high in town delivery fee!
Loved the idea of ordering small amounts of a variety of dishes. Everything was extremely well presented and really tasty!

Absolutely Awful Meal. The pad Thai was mushy and flavourless, miso soup was sweet, chicken wings were rubber and unedible, deep fried stuff was burnt, beef ribs were in this weird bbq sauce that tasted like cinnamon. Explained my concerns to the Manager and he was rude and offered no apology. Will not be returning.
I placed an order at 210 for pickup at 300. I got there at 255. Order was ready but cold. I feel fairly certain it was made when I ordered it and then sat there for almost an hour. Luckily it was being eaten at home because I had to put appies in the oven so they weren t soggy. I tried again with delivery. The wonton soup was flavourless. I thought it would be hard to have bad pad Thai but it was also flavourless. Really disappointing especially considering I found out when the delivery driver was here that it was an extra 3.00 on top of the 6.00 delivery charge for me to pay with credit. Noodles were over cooked and falling apart. A lot of moneys worth to throw out.

Amazing place to eat expensive but it was all you can eat. I loved the different sushis example the poatatoe one and the crab one, I also enjoyed the chicken very tasty and saucy I could go on and on. Finnally I ate this green ball the chinese woman told me to take a piece off and dip it in the sauce but I didint, I ate the whole ball with the sauce, it was the hottest thing i have ever ate, I should have listend lol. Will be coming here again one day with my family. Arigato gozimus

The staff was friendly and the service was good. I had the teriyaki salmon roll and it was good. Also had the shrimp and chicken pad Thai and it was not very good at all. There was watery sauce that was very sour/acidic. The shrimp was very overcooked and the chicken had a slime to it. Very disappointed with that dish.

Outstanding food selection from appetizers to dessert and everything in between, prompt and courteous service at this location, clean and organized, very friendly staff, incredible value, the restaurant stayed open for us late so that we could eat as much food as we could handle, the Sushi is highly recommended!
Food was decent, but I thought the service was lacking in attention. In particular, we ve ordered from them and had our food delivered an hour and half late and their response was sushi doesn t get cold . Another time when I was doing pick up, they gave our food away to another customer and had to wait an additional 30 minutes at the restaurant for pick up. Would ve appreciated more accountability.

Ordered the chicken fried rice and pad Thai, absolutely no flavour or taste. It was SO absurd how bland the dishes were. I had to take home the food and recook it at home to add seasoning. Save your money and go somewhere else.
I really enjoy the sweet potato roll and for the most part the sushi is my favorite in Trenton. I dont like the Pad Thai at all it has an odd taste. However the curry dishes are often done well. Did have a contamination issue after eating here, my partner does have a shell fish allergy and it was triggered after eating a curry dish. We assume it was a cross contamination of utensils

Excellent food and lovely friendly staff My only complaint was, I ordered dessert to go which is a deep fried cheesecake with whip cream. They garnished it with cherry tomatoes!!!! Lol. First time trying this restaurant and it was a very good experience. The restaurant has an upscale appearance. We were happy that they had an all you can eat menu, many places have gotten rid of that option. Food was also above expectation. Menu include sushi options as well as other non-sushi menu items.

The restaurant was poorly lit, with widely spaced tables. The ambiance seemed outdated, and the service was slow. Unfortunately, my dining experience was disappointing; the food quality didnt meet the standards Ive experienced at other Thai sushi restaurants. As a result, I didnt even finish my buffer order. Otherwise they have a decent spring roll.
We went for the dinner buffet. While I had a rough idea of the dinner cost, it was not clearly advertised, OR communicated to us before dining. We walked in, sat down, and were handed the tablet to start ordering. For 3 people, with no special drinks, it was over $100. The food was fine, but nothing special in my opinion. Only once leaving did I see the buffet costs; written on a chalkboard on the back wall of their entryway (the opposite direction youd be looking when walking in). The service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was clean and inviting, but unfortunately I cant say Ill be visiting again soon.

New in town so we thought we would give this place a try.. never again.. rice was wet and not good pati was loaded with sauce.. not good .. we did not eat the food.. paid 60 bucks and left .. on the upside the servers were very nice

I don t normally make reviews, I m 16 and stay off tying to be a Karen to restaurants. Im not the person to get sick over sushi - but this was horrendous. I threw up a total of two times, at my table, then in the washroom. Poorly cooked food caused this, maybe cross contamination. After throwing up I was told to clean it up, she threw napkins on the table and said it was a biohazard. Very poor service. We got the manager and she blamed it on me being sick or having a hard time stomaching food. Please please don t give this company service.

Friendly staff, good food. Their soups have depth in flavour and so comforting. I went on a weekday lunch and it was not busy. But I have drove past it on weekends and seen it busy. Will be coming back for sure. Excellent place to come to with family and friends.

Terrible experience, ordered tuna roll, never came nor did anyone say anything about being out of tuna. Ordered cali roll, given to another table, ordered a won ton for fun cause we knew it would never come, we were right.

I love ordering from here. Its goof food, that is when they get my order right. I order the same thing eveytime, so I know how it should normally taste, or i would know what they normally give me, but every once in a while I get lemongrass in my chicken fried rice. I called and the person told me they dont use it for the chicken fried rice but all I could taste and see was the lemon grass. So when you order make sure to specify to avoid my issue.

The wait staff was very friendly. Food was well done - we had sushi, and all the rolls we tried were excellent. Love that there are lots of vegetarian options as well! The app that they use for orders could be a bit more user-friendly, or they could use a quick walkthrough of how to place the order when you come in, but otherwise everything was lovely.

My husband and I had a date night here and can t wait to go back. The food was delicious and came in perfect small portions so we could try lots of different items. There was no time limit on anything and the staff and service were pretty quick. Our biggest complaint was that we were too full to try more of the dessert items!
Got Pad Thai with chicken, it was sweet-savory in taste and good in quantity. We will definitely visit there again!
The food is fantastic but the service is 100 times better. I absolutely loved the staff, so kind and welcoming. The only negative thing I have to say is the lunch prices are a little high for the short amount of options on the menu but the food is excellent.

Good food and courteous service. Please check about senior citizen specials. We were not told and we were charged full price for the lunch buffet. We realized after paying the bill but they didnt reverse the charge.

Very much enjoy the menu here, especially the sushi! Quiet atmosphere makes for a more intimate dining experience as opposed to some of the busier louder restaurants.

Worst sushi in quinte so far. Didn t taste fresh and was bland. And the wonton soup was made with shredded lettuce you would get on a Big Mac at McDonald s. Disgusting. May aswell drive an extra 15 mins to Belleville

The food was really delicious except for the beef and broccoli, something funky was happening with that. The staff were attentive and friendly. This is the only place to get all you can eat sushi in the Quinte region these days and its worth the drive
This place is ok, we went there again last week after our last 2019 visit and we liked our meal. The staff was nice, it was a decent experience. The food quality was ok not top but I would probably be going back if I was in the area again. One downside from the last visit was that the specialty sushi were not tight enough and almost all of them were falling apart and difficult to eat.

Pad Thai is like a soup and not tasty at all and the sushis were not very fresh. I would only recommend the pizza sushi.
Worst sushi ever! No taste, tried many varieties but nothing tasted good. Unfortunately after making a pre mature joke about the dessert (well, at least the icecream will be good), spoke too quickly that was bland too.

After going here for the first time I became horribly ill from the food. Sick to my stomach an hour after eating and for days after. This food is overpriced and not worth getting sick over. Wish I had just gone to Trenton Sushi instead.

I hesitated at first seeing the restaurants name however I was pleasantly surprised! Everything was good and fresh. Service was good. Price was reasonable. No complaints at all.
I went here with my family and it was amazing. The food was really well made, and it was made so quickly! Barely five minutes passed between ordering and recieving. The staff was so nice, they even provided us with miso soup on the house. I 100% reccomend going with friends or family. :)

A friend of mine ordered food from here. A tip was manually put in without their permission. Incredibly wrong to sneak a 25% tip onto an order without someones knowledge.

Was my favorite place. Now they have been getting cheap. Got 26 roll pieces with only one half filled thing of soy sauce. Whats even worse is that only one which wouldnt be enough spilled in my bag leaving me with none. Will have to verify that when ordering enough for two people there should be at least two soy sauces.
Overall a good sushi place. AYCE menu has a lot of options and variety. Fish in some of the rolls and sashimi was still slightly frozen when served but otherwise the food was great. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

Great variety of sushi rolls
Will not return. No one checked on us during our first few appetizers and after finding a big black hair in our edamame (myself and my daughter being blonde) they didnt seem overly concerned and tried to charge us full price. They gave us 10% off and we had barely ordered anything when we decided we were no longer hungry and left. We understand things like this happen, but the customer service failed miserably on our first (and last) visit.

Ive come here for years and it always scratches the sushi itch without having to travel. The staff treat me like an amicable acquaintance every time I come in which is all I can look for in a local spot. Make this yours. You wont be disappointed.

I was here for dinner on a Wednesday. The all you can eat price for dinner was about $27 for an adult which I thought was quite pricey but not absurd. However, the food quality for that price range was not great at all. I have had multiple takeout orders of their Thai food which was superb but the sushi at this price is frozen and tasteless. There is a lot of rice on the rolls to make sure you are full. I would recommend that you do takeout instead of their Thai curry or Pad thai which I would rate one of the best that I have tried. I recommend staying away from the all you can eat option. Anyone who has not tried proper fresh sushi will rate this as great sushi.

I seriously do not know how this place is rated so highly?? We received one item out of about 20 after an hour of sitting and waiting. We were never offered a beverage throughout the entire time we were dining. The lady just threw the iPad on the table and said heres all you can eat and walked away quickly. We were served raw salmon as you can see in the picture attached. We also received frozen Salmon Sashimi. The calamari and shrimp tempura did not come with any type of sauce to dip which they are usually supposed to and the pictures on the iPad show a dip with the items. The hot and sour soup tasted like metal and flour, it was disgusting. One of the ladies who were serving the food was very nice, but the rest of the service and food was absolutely horrible. They are very, very under staffed and the food quality is not good at all.

First off, the women running the orders is a trooper. Juggling 100 things at once, all while displaying empathy and gratefulness for the patience of my kids (who were just as excited for sushi as mom). I live 25 mins from the restaurant and we stopped for groceries on the way home for our pick up so I was a little worried when I sat down finally to eat. While time was not a friend to the crispness of the tempura, the flavor was amazing and even I gobbled up the cold shrimp without hesitating. The rolls were neatly packed and tightly rolled. Even my kids got it to their mouths in one bite. I enjoyed the dynamite roll and the spicy salmon roll. One star lost for spicy on the salmon. I usually dont touch Wasabi and found myself adding it to the soy for the spice I missed in that roll. Overall, a reliable place to call home for my sushi cravings.
Food was great but they sat way more customers than they could handle. Shouldnt take two hours to get served your food and then have half your order missing. Id be happy to go back because of the great quality of the food but I hope it isnt this disorganized regularly.

Sushi was nice and fresh, but service took forever. Then they blame the iPad for not sending order. Made no sense since our order went in as 1 prefer and we got half the food but missed the other half.
