Portion of tartare much smaller than my friends. 15 fries at most on the plate. Mediocre coffee. Very talented band in the evening but way too loud!

I had a great time in this restaurant. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is really friendly. Special mention for the fish and chips, it was simply perfect crispy and tasty! I will come back without hesitation. Thank you to the whole team for this great experience!

I would like to give my opinion regarding the cases of beer sold in convenience stores, each open beer overflows each time it is opened I dont know who to contact can you help me????? For months I have been buying this case of beer, I really like it but every time it overflows....

I love this place for good food with friends and family. The atmosphere is exceptional with music groups or singers, perfect for finishing a dinner with a good drink. The staff are welcoming and smiling, excellent service

Few menu choices and very expensive for what it is. We came out with a big bill and we were still hungry. The service was good and the atmosphere was ok but food-wise, there could be room for improvement

We went there for a birthday and were given a private room. The decor was very beautiful and picturesque, like chalet chic . We had very good service and the food was excellent: tuna tataki, fish n chips, salmon tartare, pizza, burgers, poutine, etc. Everything was good and everyone was satisfied with their dish. I recommend it, especially if you have a group celebration Not to mention the good beers, like the traditional Brise du Lac Only small downside: the brownie. It looked and tasted more like a big fudge, and a hard one at that. Otherwise, everything else is fine.

Poor food, exorbitant prices, ordinary beer. I got food poisoning the last time I went there. Please push yourself a little. Without the endless indulgence of boomers you wouldnt last long.

As a Mexican, I can tell you that the nachos are very very good and the pizza and beer are very delicious.

The beer is good but a little expensive. The staff was good but the evening atmosphere is a bit club with the music a bit loud so not my cup of tea for a Microbrewery.

A nice spot for an unpretentious beer. The service was fast, the terrace is superb, perhaps a few gaps in the knowledge of the beers (were in a micro anyway) but all in all, a nice place. The 4 stars is for the lack of brewing knowledge and for the prices (not displayed for the beers, and a little high for the rest given the portions).

Meal at Archibald this evening with my wife! The food was good but not exceptional, the waiter came to see us twice at the beginning and then we were completely ignored. No questions about the quality of our meal, no refilling of the drinks and when we finished our plates they remained on the table for 20 minutes, the waiter came once in this 20 minutes near us and despite the plates being finished and well highlighted, he only has to continue his path. It wasnt a rush either. So it was very disappointing and unfortunately I didnt tip even though normally Im the type to give 20 to 25/100 depending on the service... If you manage servers and see this message! So much better! Did a few things ;)

Good place for happy hour when there is live music. On the other hand, the fish and chips are the worst I have eaten. Few fries, little salad and little fish. Ordinary service.

I had the salmon satay salad it was very good the portion was however a little small luckily I wasnt extremely hungry.

The food too, I ate the Archibald grill, it was a flank steak... Excellent!! Then we went to the bar side!! Great atmosphere with the band!! We loved it!!!

The atmosphere in this restaurant is very pleasant. It feels like a chalet! The food is also quality. I tried the hummus salad and it was delicious. I also tried the shrimp tacos which were equally good. The prices are a little more expensive than in other restaurants though... Especially if you have one or two beers while eating. The music was a little loud the last time I was there. [Notice modified, I added the paragraph below] I went back yesterday and Jean-Marcs service was incredible. I fell in love with him every time he visited our table! He was smiling, professional and endearing. I had the seafood chowder and it was delicious!

First experience in an Archibald restaurant. Nice restaurant-bar atmosphere. Very good service from our server Thierry. The beef cheek was delicious. The portion was not generous but quite adequate for a woman. There was a band around 10 p.m., it was good. The only downside is the bathroom sinks . I would advise the person responsible for housekeeping to spend some time on it.

What can I say!? Everything was top notch, atmosphere, service, cuisine. I can only recommend the chefs specialties which are truly delicious! Real cooking. The restaurant is very spacious, a plus for privacy! Celiac friends, no problem for you, the kitchens adapt and burgers are possible! Except for desserts, too bad! Go for it with your eyes closed.

We went this evening for a friends 50th birthday. On the terrace (in winter) water was running over us due to the joint of a canvas or condensation caused by the cold weather and the patio heaters. 2h30 before receiving our plate, 2h30!!!. The waiter told us he would notify the manager to see if there was another seat available, but clearly he didnt. Then for the service time, only apologies. The waiter made us feel like he really didnt care. We ate well yes, but with a drop in the forehead, in the neck from time to time its ordinary for a while. Bring your raincoats and umbrella. Young and inexperienced staff.

Good meal, good table service but delays and errors among our orders. As these are things that can happen, I dont take it into account that much but I waited a long time for my meal. Beautiful place, pleasant atmosphere. The band was not as good as the other times I went there, but maybe its just a question of musical taste. Ill still go back. Wheelchair accessibility: Parking nearby and everything you need for people with reduced mobility.

Its been a long time since Ive been to the Archibald and I was very happy with my experience. The food was really good, a little lukewarm for example, but the flavors were delicious as I like to discover them. The atmosphere was good, the music was a little loud which made us talk loudly, but we still enjoyed this moment with friends. In the evening a band was on site and took us into their music. It was really good. Dietary restrictions: I ate the Archibald burger with the option of replacing the bread with slices of salad and the fries with a delicious salad. I really appreciated that we could make these changes without having to pay extra.

Quite disappointed with our meal in this microbrewery. Poutine so drowned in BBQ sauce that we could no longer distinguish the taste of any other ingredient. Burger served almost cold. Very courteous and attentive service though.

Food is really good but portions are SMALL. $23 for Shepards Pie and it would have fit on a small saucer. Honestly, I was expecting something twice that size.

Its been a few years since Ive been. The food was not as good as I remembered. The drinks were good and there was an interesting promotion on wine. There were several of us (group) and the service was impeccable. We didnt miss anything, our server was very available for any request or question and he was concerned about our comfort, no complaints about that. Finally, the atmosphere was good until the group started their show. The music was way too loud, we had to shout to hear each other. Some left with sore throats.

Very large selection of beers, with some aged in oak barrels that contained wine! To discover! Sophisticated dishes with real taste.

Beautiful place, nice atmosphere although little space between the tables so little or no privacy, its not the place for a romantic dinner, that wont stop me from going back. This is the place for dinners with friends or family.

We were there twice within 2 days. Super delicious food, very attentive and friendly service, top beer. On weekends there is often live music in the evenings, which is just great! Great atmosphere, nice ambience. Absolute recommendation!

My favorite restaurant!!

The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is great (Friday evening, band on site) As for the service, its mixed. I received my pizza quickly (and it was excellent) however, a mistake in the kitchen for the person accompanying me. Received flat later and an item never received. After paying for the meal, no one ever came back so we could order a drink, I had to go to the bar. But the fact remains that we enjoyed our evening.

Its a shame to see so much time invested in a poorly distributed space (lots of wasted places) and very noisy (forget the lively discussions). A sort of cage 2.0 without the sporty side. The heated terrace, however, is a step above. The service is impeccable.

I am very disappointed with my experience on Sunday December 10 during my visit with my partner and my 4 year old daughter. The service was too long (almost 50 minutes of waiting) and when my daughter received her burger, there was hot sauce in it. We had to ask for a second one and wait another 20 minutes. She fed with fites. The plate of squid was small and looks like when put them back in the oil a second time since they were rubbery. And the icing on the cake, while clearing the table at the end, the waiter spilled sauce on my pants and my t-shirt. All for a nice bill of $125. Wow Bravo Archibald for this great experience!
