313 Rue des Forges, Trois-Rivières, QC G9A 2G9, Canada
Intimate, old-world eatery with a large patio & classic Italian menu of pizzas & pastas.
Superb atmosphere, the meal was delicious I had salmon and lobster luiguini, but the lobster did not stand out much in the dish. Otherwise the service was really great, always attentive.
Very cosy place. Good ambient and atmosphere. The food is ok. One thing that surprised me was the waitress. Maybe it's the culture like that, but it's worthy to share this experience. The bill was around 48 dollars. I left 50, and the waitress said: You are not gonna leave tip? I said this is what I have. She continued: it's at least 10-15 % of the bill, and this is how we get paid. " I replied back, "That's all." She said "OK", took the money and left. Maybe this is normal, but I found it strange behaviour.
I love this place. Have not been in a few years. But used to go all the time for the Grand Prix. I had Aubergine parmigiana. It was delicious, the tomato sauce and cheese, terrific. The eggplant itself, could have been cooked a bit more, as it wasn't soft enough. But the presentation was so pretty as well. I had some bread, which was actually 2 small rolls in a garlic, oil sauce, served in a small metal plate. Very cute! I ate on the terrace, which was fun, because I never really had too many opportunities to do so before because at dinner , for Grand Prix, the terrace is usually packed. But I was having a late lunch, so there was a spot. But I love the inside decor too. So nice! Like a beautiful living room! I didn't have anything else, as the eggplant dish was very filling, and certainly enough. It's great. Ambience, people, food!
Nice patio on Main Street. The pasta was good, but the green salad was disappointing. Basically a bunch of chopped lettuce with a couple tomatoes and minimal dressing for $20. The value of the food for the price overall was not there for me. I expected more quality.
Little piece of ilaly in Trois-Rivières. A must on your way to Quebec. Order the antipastos. Fresh and delicious 😋
A Delightful Dining Experience at Angeline My recent visit to Angeline was an absolute delight, exceeding expectations in every aspect—food, service, and ambience. From the moment we walked in, the vintage Italian decor transported us to a charming trattoria in the heart of Italy. The warm, inviting atmosphere set the stage for a memorable evening. We started our meal with the crispy shrimp, a perfect appetizer. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, with a golden, crunchy exterior that gave way to tender, juicy shrimp inside. The balance of flavors was impeccable, with a hint of spice that enhanced the overall taste without overpowering it. For the main course, we indulged in two dishes: the classic Alfredo pasta and the Venezia pizza. The Alfredo pasta was rich and creamy, with a sauce that clung beautifully to the perfectly cooked fettuccine. Each bite was a luxurious experience, showcasing the chef’s mastery of this beloved dish. The Venezia pizza was a revelation. The combination of fresh ingredients and expertly crafted pasta created a dish that was both flavorful and satisfying. The light, yet flavorful sauce complemented the pasta wonderfully, making it a standout on the menu. The service at Angeline was equally impressive. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, ensuring that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Their recommendations were spot on, and their enthusiasm for the menu added to our enjoyment of the meal. The ambience of the restaurant, with its vintage Italian look, was the perfect blend of cozy and elegant. Soft lighting, tasteful decor, and comfortable seating created an environment that was both relaxing and refined, making it an ideal spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. Overall, Angeline provided a dining experience that was nothing short of exceptional. With fantastic food, top-notch service, and a charming atmosphere, it’s a place I’ll gladly return to and highly recommend to anyone looking for an outstanding Italian meal.
Can i just say, the ambience in this restaurant was fantastic. Our waiter was very attentive and the woodfire pizza was very satisfying. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to families, friends, and couples looking for a night out.
We were cruising through parts of Canada and stopped for a couple of nights in Trois Rivière’s. We decided to go for a stroll through the old town by the river. Charming place!! We looked at a couple of menus posted outside restaurants (all in French) and decided on Angéline. We sat outside at a nice table “street-side”, which wasn’t an issue because that part of the street was for pedestrians only, so we were able to people watch and enjoy the nice day! This was a great find!! They make delicious pasta from scratch daily! I had linguine Bolognese, my wife had a personal sized pizza. We both thought these were delicious! Mine was SO good that I couldn’t stop eating it LOL! Our server was Pier-Luc. He spoke English, as did everyone else there that we met. He was very helpful! Glad to have him! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant if you are in town! Trés Bien!!!
Everything was delicious! Beautiful atmosphere! Ill go back for sure!
Team dinner for the holiday season. Everything was perfect! Thank you!
Our first return in 5 due to COVID. The restaurant has lost none of its atmosphere. The place is still beautiful. The food is so good, impeccable service with the beautiful Valérie who has been there for 24 years and whom I was surprised to see again. We will definitely return without waiting another 5 years.
I went with 3 of my friends and we all really liked the atmosphere. The food was excellent. We had a pizza dough combo, two different dough plates and I had a salad and everything was excellent!
Vegetarian options: Éliminer les lardons svp Food
Absolutely perfect atmosphere, exceptional service, the dishes are so tempting that its difficult to choose 1, the food is so good, its impossible not to want to go back
A very beautiful and good restaurant! A favorite restaurant for pasta!
Excellent food
Nice place for good pizzas.
The food was very good. Exquisite squid starter. Very good service.
Authentic Italian
We ate like kings. The impeccable service, the pasta wow wow wow. You have become my favorite restaurant. I highly recommend it.
Food was good, not great, portion size was good, server was pretty good. Solid Italian restaurant. Food
I ordered the tomato, cucumber, black olive salad with vinaigrette and the foccacia as a starter. 1) the salad is too acidic. They are kalamata olives and not black olives. It has lots of vinaigrette and kalamata olives. $12 for this quantity is ridiculous. If only the taste was there. Less vinaigrette, less olives, a little parmesan shavings and it would have been much better. 2) the Foccacia is good but still $12 for a 5x5 square piece is way too much! It just tastes like bread and salt. It doesnt taste rosemary and its not fluffy enough. I liked the atmosphere, the decor and the service of the waitress!
Excellent restaurant! We go there often with my partner and we are always very satisfied. For lovers of Italian cuisine, this is a must in Trois-Rivières.
Succulent! This time, I had the vegetable linguine and bocconchi. A-MA-ZING! The linguine was perfectly cooked, the service was impeccable, the portions were perfect. I recommend! The chicken with pestos is also delicious. Parking: For parking, its in the surrounding streets.
One of the best restaurants in Trois-Rivières! The food is always excellent, the service on point. The price is good (dont compare it to a fast food restaurant, so at 2 at least $100) and I always leave with my leftovers, its rare that I completely eat my plate! It s a must
The quality of the food was excellent, the service courteous and fast. I recommend the place!
I had asked for a table near the windows and we were given one at the back of the restaurant...we refused and we were given a tiny table wedged between 2 others, impossible for my partner to sit down, however Valérie Our waitress took care of us and found us a better table. Thank you for your excellent service Valérie. The next reservation will definitely be in Valéries tables section.
4 cheese pizza couldnt be more ordinary. Large blocks of feta, no flavor, barely warm. Acceptable welcome and service, interesting cozy atmosphere. I unfortunately cannot recommend this place.
The pasta is good. However, on our last visit my friend ordered squid. The squid was not fresh and very salty, I also ate a small piece of it. I was sick that evening and the next day. My friend had to go to the hospital, vomiting blood for 2 days. Its a good pasta and pizza restaurant, but I strongly advise against anything with seafood from this place.
For a person who doesnt eat much they should make half portions of dough....
I always love going to this restaurant!
Slow and absent service after being served Ordinary and terribly expensive food.
The food in general was good, except that the service was rather hasty, difficult to ask for something or when. Ask for something, there are omissions, but it did not spoil the dinner, it was our first time at this restaurant, but I still recommend this restaurant because the decor is very nice, thank you
Hello, great evening! But the survey takes too long to access. Google doesnt ask for too much approval that the first time I gave up. And the other site only sends us to your page without being able to evaluate it. THANKS! Good food, good atmosphere and good service! THANKS!
For several years I have been going to Angeline from boul. Récollets. I always eat the Carbonara which I found excellent. Last time the pancetta was tough and really not good. I left with my dish barely eaten. I told the waitress who responded with a smile. My husband was unable to eat these pieces the next day for lunch. Yesterday, downtown, I had Alfredo. My daughter and I had to ask for more sauce because there was barely any. Even after adding more, my pasta was dry and cold (the extra sauce was lukewarm). My pasta was all stuck together with barely any sauce even after adding it. At $26 for my dish and $30 for my daughters (gratiné) I really dont want to visit you anymore either at Forges or at Récollets. As a long-time customer, I am very, very disappointed.
Super super service from Valerie...our first visit around 2014 had charmed us by the decor and the good cuisine...back in Trois-Rivières for us it was a must to return there.. having the fear that this is not as good as we remembered...really lived up to our expectations...back soon to your restaurant accompanied by friends to help them discover this little treasure...yum yum...thank you very much.
Excellent
A very nice discovery! Vegetarian options: Several possibilities.
Great for people with celiac disease
Generous portions of excellent food... I recommend this beautiful restaurant. Go for it, you wont regret it! Parking: Be wary of the unclear signage which cost us $111 (we love tourists in Trois-Rivières). Even if you park in front of the payment terminal with parking lines painted on the ground, you do not necessarily have the right to park. Instead of using the vehicles license plate number, they should instead give each parking space a number (like in Montreal). Thus, by entering the parking space number, you could be notified by the terminal if you cannot park in this space.
We had *excellent* service from Kyle! Everything was A1!! The Bellini cocktail, a great discovery, very fresh and summery! A little disappointed with the level of the Bocconcini starter and the melting brie. Very basic but, delicious nonetheless! I ate the Proscuitto and Arugula Pizza, a pure delight and cooked to perfection! Red Bolla Wine is very inexpensive, and quite delicious! ! We will return there often, thats for sure!
It s always my favorite when I go to Trois-Rivières!
Super good
Always excellent!
Excellent service, the place is also very warm. I recommend +++
The welcome was very quick. Then for the order too. However, the waitress forgot my partners glass of wine and she offered neither parmesan nor pepper. When we tried to ask, she was nowhere to be found. Then with a bit of annoyance she told us to wait as she was busy. The food was excellent and the portion size was acceptable. However, $13 for a piece of parmesan fondue seems excessive to me. The tables are also very close together on the terrace, my table neighbor had his elbow caught at least twice while he was eating.
Everything was perfect!
Simply delicious! Beautiful Italian decorations Thank you!
A very good Italian restaurant. Good fresh pasta cooked to perfection, an excellent Villa Borghese salad! Great service from Kyle. In short, a restaurant outing to repeat!
Last visit to this restaurant. Dsl but too expensive for meals not up to the standard of real good Italian food. Bowl of grocery store croutons with Caesar salad. Seriously there were so many croutons and not homemade. Huge bowl of pasta with very little sauce, no taste and really ordinary pizza. Very dark in the restaurant, no air conditioning even though it was really hot. Nearly $300 a bill for 4, a cocktail, 3 beers, a bottle of wine for 4, two small salads, two pasta meals and a pizza. At least the wine was good and the waitress was nice.
Music way too loud!
Very satisfied! Parking: You have to move away from the main street.
Fantasy decor
The waitresses were overwhelmed. They had no smiles and the service was very rushed.
Excellent service! A real institution in Trois-Rivières that is worth the detour.
Beautiful bestaurant and beautiful decor but it stops there Bland dish and not representative of the menu and $$$ Capucino coffee not drinkable Not experienced server Red wine $$$ the money above comparable restaurants and served hot
The best pasta Ive eaten in a long time
The food is good, without being wow but the service is friendly and the place is beautiful!
Another good dinner at Angéline, one of our favorite places in Trois-Rivières. Good pasta, impeccable service. We thought we were in Italy except for the music, we thought we were more in a pre-party than in an Italian dinner!!
Expenssive compare to size. Good to try.
Nice atmosphere on the back terrace (a little quieter than at the front and more comfortable in the evening). The food is on point and the service is excellent. First visit to this restaurant and we really enjoyed it. The portions are very good and the recipes are authentic. The cocktails are generous and tasty.
Extra!!
The meal and service was excellent during our visit! We couldnt have hoped for better.
Great restaurant, excellent food and impeccable service!!
Always pleasant on each of our visits. Parking: Not applicable in substance. We walked from our hotel
Kid-friendliness: Oui Food
Large outdoor terrace
Delicious pizza
Excellent cal zone and very good paste nice atmosphere Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
I can not wait to return to
Great discovery in Trois-Rivières (sommes de Laval). Excellent food, good portions and impeccable service despite the high traffic.
I had a good evening in this restaurant: the food was good and the waitress who took care of me was very professional. What a shame to have encountered the assistant manager when leaving the restaurant, who responded to a banal question with a discourteous tone and an air of rather severe judgment towards me, to the simple question: would you, by any chance, have , a lighter on you? Enough to ruin an evening which was nevertheless perfectly successful. But
Good choice of menu, decent food, very expensive wine, very small table High bill despite no excess.
Cuisine that is not authentic. The meal resembles La Popessa (express pasta bar) The arancini look like they came out of a freezer and are miniature, but they came with a nice tomato sauce. The chicken in the pasta seemed to be precooked much like at Subway, not cooked on site. The goat cheese sauce was good but didnt contain much arugula or leek. The wine list is small. Desserts not made on site. The employees are very pleasant and the service no.1 Overall, the meal was good, but it is expensive for an assembly kitchen. To try but I will not return at this price. I prefer truly Italian restaurants.
Very expensive and not good at all
Perfect from start to finish! Thank you for making us relive Italy every time! Very authentic!
We loved all the services, the aperitif, the starter, the main course. The food was delicious as well as the presentation of the dishes. I ate in this restaurant with my partner 24 years ago and still as good.
What a great discovery! Excellent value for money, very nice menu, unable to empty the plate!
I expected to hear soft Italian ambient music. If it hadnt been for that, it would have been perfect!!
One of the best restaurants in the old port
Angeline, a sure and constant value.
Wonderful restaurant, welcoming, smiling staff. Despite the big grand prix weekend, fast service despite the traffic
Very good restaurant, Italian food, excellent atmosphere, A1 service, I recommend
Dietary restrictions: Gluten Food
Food excellent the price was very very good for the quality of food they served us. When I return to Trois Rivières I will know where to go for an Italian restaurant.
Excellent table. A little corner of Italy in Canada. Fresh homemade paws made in front of you. Very friendly service. Its worth the detour...
Excellent dinner in good company. Really good gluten free pasta. My daughter said the Caesar salad was delicious. The bolognese sauce was also excellent. THANKS!
Beautiful decor. Good food. Service sometimes slow due to traffic.
In general, the food is very good and the portions are generous. A little disappointed by the starter which was not what I thought... The grilled Brie with basil is in fact 4 croutons of toasted bread with a little Brie and basil... expensive for 4 croutons... Moreover, the prices are rather high for the majority of dishes.
Superb experience, we were served quickly and our waitress gave us good advice. The squid was delicious and fresh, but the pistachio crust was so-so... We were expecting a nice homemade spread but it was a bit like a deconstructed sandwich with Mortadella. Nevertheless he was good. We had the pasta stuffed with veal and rosé sauce; WOWWW In short, I recommend this restaurant! Superb decor
EXCELLENT service! We all really enjoyed the food and impeccable service. Small downside, the tables are so close together that it is difficult to move around for both customers and staff. Music a little too loud. On the other hand, I would go back without hesitation! Parking: Several options in the sector
Delicious pasta, generous portions. I havent finished my plate. We can report. A little noisy when the restaurant is full. Fast service despite a crowded restaurant! Very nice place!
We were inside and there was no air conditioning and the humid heat spoiled our dinner despite the quality of the service and the food! Parking: Sufficient
The place was very busy the evening we went to the restaurant. It was Thursday evening, before going to the Cogeco theater. We went to eat on the terrace. We were seated correctly and the tables were still close to each other. The strawberry mocktail I had was very good! The lasagna that was served to me with Caesar salad was good but the top was a little burnt. We were served water regularly. The wait was a little long but that was expected since the restaurant was full. We were delighted to take the shuttle which leaves from the street of the restaurant and which goes very close to the theater .
Wonderful restaurant for people with celiac disease
This restaurant is my must-see in Trois-Rivières, always incredible service and magical decor, it really feels like youre in Italy!!!
Ridiculous portions, my little one took pizza from the childrens menu and I took normal pizza, the pizza is the same size... its ridiculous! Not forgetting the price, its excessively expensive compared to what it is. I do not recommend
Service leaves something to be desired and food ok.
Beautiful Italian decoration. The air conditioning inside the restaurant was insufficient to compensate for the heat of the day and the pizza ovens. It was difficult in terms of temperature, but the food was good.
Excellent food, fast and friendly service even during the festivoix
Ordering a calzone at the end of opening, I have the impression that the cook wanted at all costs to pass on his leftover pizza dough, a large calzone, elastic uncooked dough. Disgusting ! Ive been going there for over 20 years, its the height of bad stuff!! Sitting at the bar, looking for the waitress!
I have been a loyal Angéline fan for several years, I found that the recipes had changed? Less tasty dishes? But I still love...
Expensive for pasta Parking: Public parking not far away
Beautiful place with 2 terraces, large selection of menu and wine. Excellent service.
We really enjoyed our dinner! We had already eaten inside where we really appreciated the decor! And there we were able to enjoy the terrace in the city center. It was perfect!
Our waitress Geneviève is just brilliant, the food incredible and the drinks exceptional. Thank you, we had a wonderful evening. Well go back there for sure.
Small gift dessert every birthday. Nice attention.
Superb Italian restaurant with magnificent decor, perfectly in keeping with the theme. Excellent and plentiful cuisine. Pleasant service. Great!
A very very ordinary waitress, who seemed not very patient, no smile... Its a shame!
A good restaurant! Excellent service, good food ;-)
Really delicious and good portion
Good pastas
Good meal and good service
Rarely eaten so badly in a restaurant! The price is very high too! Yet not complicated to make pasta and pizza
Worst restaurant experience! The only good thing this place has is the location and the nice waiters. The food is HORRIBLE. The prices dont match the quality at all. Pasta served in salad bowls, cutlery not cleaned, and the food very, very poorly prepared. How they can mess up such simple dishes is just scandalous.
The atmosphere is okay, but 1h30 of waiting for more than mediocre quality and a very high bill... its really a steal. We ordered their famous basil melted brie and, after 45 minutes, 4 pieces of bread with a thin strip of brie on top finally arrived. Needless to say, we didnt expect that. We imagined a melted brie, with pieces of bread to dip... well, the very industrial bread, we got it in any case. Then we ordered two pizzas. The first, with really bad goat cheese spread, and the second, the rustica, smoked salmon, caramelized onions and lobster bisque... never tasted the slightest taste of lobster on it. In terms of size, it must correspond to a small, because even the plate is too big for pizzas. The cocktails were good, the wine not bad too, but how can I say... $170 for that... for two people, with a lot of waiting and very average food, I say: move on. Our waitress was nice, thats not the point, but the rest of the evening it was a joke in very bad taste.
Dont expect authentic Italian food at this place. Bad food, too expensive, with generic ingredients. I had a pizza that was supposed to contain eggplant and goat cheese and ended up being eggplant peels with a mountain of industrial goat cheese. Plus the pizzas are small, they dont even fill the plate on which they are served. The starters are no better: brie fondant with pesto actually means a very thin slice of brie covered with oil and not-fresh basil on a piece of burnt baguette worthy of the super C... It was a very disappointing meal, especially since we had this restaurant recommended, I dont know if its because we were angry or because the people of Trois-Rivières have very low standards, but we are far from a must, you will have an experience closer to a real Italian restaurant by going to Mikes, so thats saying...
Excellent on everything! A little gem
2nd time at this restaurant. Good food, fast service, smiling and welcoming staff. I recommend this restaurant during a getaway to Trois Rivières.
TOO EXPENSIVE!!!! The atmosphere and the place are very good. But its so expensive! When we end up paying close to $30 for a pizza for 1 person which is rather ordinary, we feel like were being laughed at. Way too expensive!!!
Good Italian restaurant. The pasta is good. The salads are plentiful. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dishes available
Ordered a carbonara, which consisted of alfredo type sauce with bacon in it. It was ok taste wise, but definitely not carbonara. There better places to eat in that neighborhood.
I would have liked to give at least one more star but the price is really excessive for the quantity on the plate. We ordered 2 cocktails to start, they werent stirred or served with straws: all the sparkling water was on top and we only got the sweet and slightly alcoholic side once we got to the end, dear for what it is ($11 a glass, $17 a jar which is not big at all). We then had 2 pizzas, quite good but nothing sensational either (we are still quite far from a real Neapolitan despite everything), however the size of the pizza?? It looks like a childs portion when you see the plate arrive, so for the price ($26) were obviously disappointed! And the chili oil wasnt spicy at all, we emptied half the pot hoping to get a little chili... We tried to finish with a sweet touch, it was the nice surprise of the evening, they were really good (but once again its expensive, $11 for a very small portion). In short, ultimately the bill is quite steep and thats why we wont come back, its not worth that price. Nothing to say about the service, it was friendly, we just had to ask to order a dessert because it had not been offered to us.
Courteous and fast service. Warm atmosphere. Exceptional food quality.
This restaurant was recommended to us but it was not to our taste! As Europeans, we apparently do not have the same standards. I ordered a pizza and frankly I was disappointed with the size, rather small especially for $29 and it was nothing special... Positive points: the decoration is pretty and the service was good In short, were not going back there for sure.
-Inappropriate music for a Mothers Day Saturday... -The waitresses push us towards the exit as soon as you take your last bite! -Prices too high for the experience, I was looking for the basic ingredients in my mountain of linguine! Disappointing! Sad
Beautifully decorated restaurant, pleasant terrace and good service. Unfortunately, disappointed with the pizza which was not up to the price paid (size too small, dough not cooked enough, little flavor).
Its beautiful
Dont make my mistake, avoid this place! I ate a pizza. The dough was extremely bad, the filling was of very poor choice and bland. Exorbitant price for what was served. I dont understand at all the positive comments about this restaurant. I regret my visit and would not return under any circumstances.
A memorable outing! A memorable restaurant! A memorable meal! In short, it was memorable. Thanks to the impeccable service as well.
Too expensive...
Excellent restaurant, superb decor, fantastic service! I had a seafood starter and the veal-filled pasta with a rosé sauce. WoW! A very generous portion. The sauce was creamy. Our waitress was super nice and always there at the right times with a warm smile. Thank you for this wonderful evening in the company of work colleagues. I will definitely come back to try your wood-fired oven pizza. See you soon! Parking: Parking in front of the restaurant.
Burnt pizza! very bad service and too expensive Parking: on a small street far from the restaurant
The Bruschetta was hopeless. Totally waste of money. Even worse than we make at home. Everything was falling down from the bread. In the name of Bruschetta just kept raw tomatoes on top of the bread slice and put a little cheese. Rest pasta and pizza were excellent. Please remove Bruschetta from your menu it is not even worth t2dollars and you charged 11 dollars for the same.
the food was not good and was very expensive. we ordered margarita pizza and pasta. there was only one waiter serving all the tables, which meant we were waiting around for her for the food as well as the bill. Paid $82 for something we didnt like or finished.
A beautiful Italian restaurant. The food is good, but nothing extraordinary. Unfortunately, like too many restaurants. The prices are really too excessive. When you come out of the restaurant, having eaten a pasta dish, a salad, a dessert, and a beer as a drink. All this for the amount of $100. Salads and pastas are really expensive this year, especially when you know how much they cost when you buy them at the grocery store. I dont recommend this restaurant, way too expensive, it was the first time I tried it and it will be the last.
Warm, courteous service but a little dark.
Good good and atmosphere
Amazing Italian restaurant. My partner said the home made cabañera pasta was delicious. I got a gluten free pasta with chicken, basil and ricotta that was incredible. The service was spectacular and I loved the decor. It felt like a mix between an Italian courtyard and an Italian living room. Great spot! Dietary restrictions: They had a full gluten free menu with plenty of options. Great spot for gluten free options locally.
What a beautiful place with a unique decor! Excellent service, friendly staff and the food is excellent. All at a good price
The dishes chosen were not bad (pasta for my partner and pizza for me) but their quality/price ratio is simply not there. The cost is clearly exaggerated for the quality and quantity offered for each dish. In addition, any side dish comes at an additional cost: salad, fries, etc. For my part, when ordering, I found the individual pizza expensive at $28 and I found it even more expensive when I saw the portion that was served to me. In short, the quality and portions served are simply not in line with the prices asked.
Correct, nothing more!
Nice atmosphere, excellent fresh pasta and good service
Great experience, unusual atmosphere and gluten-free menu for a joint, everything was there.
Splendid in taste, visual, etc. Very delicious, one of the very good restaurants where it doesnt matter to pay when everything is so good!!! Very nice place too, very comfortable.
Trying for the first time but the pizza is very ordinary...for the high price
Frankly too expensive for what it is! We had pizza and pasta, nothing too complicated, and it was pretty bland. Not to mention the fact that I have never seen pizza and pasta at these prices. CA$77 for a pizza, a pasta dish and a can of Pepsi, I still cant believe it... The cuisine is not bad hence my rating but hey, apart from the setting which is nice, unfortunately it stops there...
The music is so good! And the food is tasty and tasty! Favorite pizza excellent service
Magnificently good on everything. Food, welcoming atmosphere.
The places look and feel is quite neat and cozy. The pizza seemed small for the price, but was in fact quite thick with ingredients and very good. The prices are not cheap. We ended up with quite a bill without taking any alcohol. Recommend still.
A classic! We know what to expect from Chez Angéline. The decor has not changed in more than 25 years. Neither is the menu! Its honest, that is to say that you eat exactly what you expect: quality fresh pasta (my favorite), very tasty pizza, quality tomato sauce. The prices are still high. More than $250 for two for cocktails, starters, main course, wine and espresso is expensive for rather simple cuisine. The atmosphere was pleasant but the tightly packed tables and the more or less effective ventilation were not ideal. It was very hot and we decided to skip our turn for dessert. The service was very attentive and courteous.
Very good mocktail, the pasta always excellent. It was a little cold, but we were in the section right next to the windows to be a little quieter and to be able to chat without shouting at each other.
Great place and food is amazing
