The waitress harassed us for a tip

I shared the story with staff at head office and received a letter of apology from the owner of Pacini TR Mr Harvey. (I read other comments arrogant stupid priority staff I suggest you contact their head office too) Here is the story: (The first situation happened about a year ago when she put her chocolate cake-stained hands on the booth. The next visit, we were informed that the restaurant had requested the services of a cleaner. My husband asked how much it was, and the owner said its $35 and my husband wanted to pay but the compensation was refused) ******** Today, my child (3 and a half years old) and us went to eat at Pacini de trois rivières another time, we asked for no meat for the two pizzas. When the pizzas arrived, I saw that there was one with meat. She said we misunderstood each other and shes going to change it. Then I said, then the kids pizza, I guess theres no meat. Right away, she started putting her fingers in the pizza to check if there was any meat. I told her to stop stopping, that you cant put your fingers in the pizza (food) I immediately cut the corner she touched and asking to have a replacement. After that the owner came and said no to the replacement. I tried to explain the situation, but he wouldnt let me talk (actually, I just wanted to say that its not professional, she gets the bill, the money, the plate, she cleans the table, hes not a chef, instead, if she wanted to check, she couldnt have asked me or used a fork) on the other hand, he said impolitely, that weve already had a problem with you in the past (chocolate), you can just eat elsewhere, and he left. We stopped eating because we no longer felt like staying. All the customers and employees looked at us, and they wondered if we hadnt done something naughty. We asked for the bill, the waitress said: the meal would be free (we didnt eat at all) and never come back again. I was very angry and wanted to go talk to him and ask for 2 minutes with a nice attitude and I wanted to pay my bill despite everything. He replied no I dont have any. Good evening.

My sister and I ordered the shrimp mille-feuille lasagna (the menu image was very inviting). On the other hand, to our great disappointment, said lasagna (at $29 all the same) turned out to be of a size that I consider starter. Pacini is however renowned for having copious plates. Additionally, the lasagna was extremely salty and the fresh pasta very difficult to chew. The waitress was very understanding and we were able to recommend other dishes, which met our expectations. The dishes arrived quickly and were generous. So taking into account that the guests we were with loved their meals and the efficiency of the waitress, we had a great time.

I was surprised; it was very good. Vegetarian options: Very good shiitake spaghetti.

I think you should go there to see that its a really good restaurant. The Trois-Rivières team really takes care of its customers.

Very good meal and varied cocktails but be careful if you want the table dhôte, you have to mention it at the beginning otherwise you will be frowned upon

Just too long unfortunately to take the order with young children who are having tantrums, we feel that we have to leave as quickly as possible, for $110 the bill for a lunch is a bit boring... We recommend it but without children

I had a great evening in this restaurant! The pizza was really excellent, with a very crispy crust and quality ingredients. The atmosphere was great, and Laurence, the waitress, was really friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place to have a good time!

I received a meal that was burnt, complained about it and returned it, but it took a long time to do so. I was offered another dish, I refused since the other guests were finishing their dishes. But they demanded that I pay for my meal. Its very, very expensive, $55 for 2 glasses of wine and 1 slice of bread and some mouthful of dough that tasted like it was burning. Very disappointed with the experience.

Lack of cleanliness in the toilet room

Excellent meal and good atmosphere. A little noisy sometimes but still nice. The bread bar is a great concept and the wines offered are very good although a little more than double the SAQ price.

The only thing we didnt have was water. We were in the sun on the terrace. We asked the hostess for it but without success for the rest, it was delicious!

Always superb service, superb smiles, you feel taken care of! Weve been there 10 times in 4 months, and the experience is always worth it! My only recommendation would be to add alternative options to breakfast: lettuce + tomato / fruit salad or applesauce, its a difficult choice due to the lack of options! But for the rest, dont change anything, its perfect like this! Thanks for everything

An unpleasant attitude for a person trying the restaurant for the first time! Talk to the employees about this. The tips are a plus, Im not obliged to give him, its not an obligation!

We made a reservation for a group of 11 at Pacini Trois-Rivières for 12:30. When we arrived, the table was not ready, we welcomed the birthday person in the entrance of the restaurant!!!! 12:45 the table finally ready. Another large group was in the same room as us, they spoke very loudly and we had difficulty hearing each other. Waiting over 25 minutes to place orders, a little over 1:00 to receive our plates, including one person who got their plate in 3 steps because things were missing from the plate. I returned my plate of gluten-free dough (extra $5 for gluten-free) even though I had asked from the start that it be well cooked, when I returned the pasta was still hard (difficult for digestion) but I never return a plate to the kitchen twice. We asked for coffee, 2 small pots of coffee and 3 bottles of water were served for 11 people, we had to ask for cups which took a while to arrive. At the end of the meal my partner asked for more coffee, the waitress brought an empty cup, without bothering to bring coffee or water because the pots and bottles had been empty for a long time and she left immediately. By the end of the meal, everyone was thirsty. The time went on, we paid our bills, no dessert either and we tried to chat a little considering that the other group had left but around 2:50 p.m. a young girl arrived with the sweeper, the message was clear . The service did not deserve a tip even if we left one but next time I will evaluate the tip according to the service and not 15% and more as suggested. Overall, it was a very disappointing dinner party with poor service. Advice ; do not book at Pacini Trois-Rivières for a group.

When we called for the reservation, the man on the phone was very stupid, almost arrogant. Its certain that this put us off, but we still decided to try the experience, and fortunately because everything there lived up to our expectations. Our server, Justin, was attentive and made us feel very welcome. The portions were generous, the prices are fair and what can we say about the bread bar, simply delicious! The atmosphere is also very pleasant, with the benches and dim lights, and the restaurant is very clean. We had two pizza duettos and the lasagna grandiosa, I cant say they were the best dishes we ate but we will definitely come back to try something else on the menu. The pasta sides were a little too dry for my liking but the pizzas were really delicious and packed with flavor. Im giving 4 stars simply because the telephone service needs a good fix, its still the first impression we have of the restaurant as a consumer. For the rest, hats off! We had a very nice evening!

We find that it is good for lunch time because it is not too noisy but when lunch time and supper time arrives it is much too noisy. Too bad because very good.

What a beautiful place. There is space and distance between tables. The service is courteous, the food excellent and the prices reasonable. And the decor...fabulous! It is always clean, tidy and the staff is courteous. A special mention for the bread bar and the large outdoor terrace in summer.

We went for lunch with a 2 and a half year old and a 4 and a half year old. We waited over 1 hour to be served! On the other hand, the typical Italian try I tried was really good.

April 29, 2023: - Salad starter at $8: Full of moldy black leaves. Not edible, we returned it. - Tomato, walnut and shiitake spaghetti for $24: Lack of sauce, bland taste. My mediocre pasta that I make at home with just a jar of Classico sauce from the grocery store is better... - Very good pizza! - Not many veggie choices - Very satisfactory service and atmosphere In short, some dishes were just inedible / disappointing for the price. Vegetarian options: Very limited choice. Out of around 40 dishes, around 5 have vegetarian options...

Very good service. There was definitely a manager on duty who ensured our visit went smoothly. The restaurant is completely renovated. The menu and the presentation of the plates have been revisited. The cooking of the lunch foods was excellent, attention to detail from the cooks. Prices are comparable to other restaurants in the same range.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The service was very good and fast. The food was good, but a little greasy. (Especially the pizza) Besides, the pizza lacked a little crust but its a question of taste at this level. More positively, the portions were very generous and the dessert was delicious. Finally, the bread bar is a must that fills the waiting time before receiving your meal, as long as you save room for the main course!

As usual, everything was excellent but this time we were lucky to have THE excellent waitress Pascale who, through her visible experience behind the tie, served us with impeccable professionalism. Never too present but always came to see us offering or explaining things before we even asked. It makes all the difference! A few lengths towards the end but a lot of customers arrived at the same time and you could see how hard she was trying. After multiple visits to restaurants, we recognize the quality staff, unfortunately there are fewer and fewer of them so it is necessary to mention it. If anyone is training new servers, it really should be her. Can we reserve our waitress next time we go?

Really very good we go there often. On the other hand, $16.75 for a glass of Imagery Pinot Noir wine, the whole bottle of which sells for $23.45 at the SAQ, is clearly excessive. The waitress simply offered us a glass of wine without mentioning the price so I really wasnt expecting that. Kid-friendliness: Free for children 12 and under on their birthday.

Only disappointed that we were told to leave at a specific time at almost the end of the meal when nothing was mentioned to us when booking. They brought us the invoices to make the payments and then sang happy birthday to the birthday person and leaving it was ordinary really.

Very nice experience! The dining room was full so we enjoyed the meal on the heated terrace. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. The food was good and we were able to share a dish which was distributed to us on two plates. In short, excellent meal! Kid-friendliness: I went there with my toddler. The hostess gave him a paper placemat and some wax crayons to keep him patient while his meal arrived.

We are going on November 11th. Good . But EXTREMELY salty. To the point of not wanting to eat anymore. We shared our plates and we understood that quite a few dishes were like that. I had duck pasta and my Godmother had pizza with fries. I gave it 3 stars because we had good service but the food 2 stars. Its a real shame because without so much salt it would have really been delicious... Besides, I had a very bad stomach ache in the hours that followed... But maybe it was the duck?

It was only 4:30 p.m. and the restaurant was full! 2023 Bol dOr final played nearby. The atmosphere was great, the portions generous, the dishes tasty. A little expensive for a restaurant that I describe as family. The service was fast and very courteous. Well done !
