Once again this year, our Christmas party was a success at Castel 1954. Excellent service and good meal. Thank you to the entire Castel team.

Everything is perfect! Atmosphere, service and meals. We were a group of 34 people. The whole group was delighted.

Best filet mignon Ive ever eaten! Extremely tender, very good sauce and accompaniment. The béchamel snail starter was very generous! The meals are homemade and you can see the difference in taste! This is the third time I ve stopped for lunch at Le Castel. I know that I will find bistronomic quality cuisine there at an affordable price. Ive never been there in the evening... That day, I was able to taste a perfectly mastered beetroot soup. I followed it up with a well-cooked and well-seasoned pollock on a bed of zucchini and béchamel. A glass of Italian wine accompanied my meal. Quickly and very well served. In short, it was perfect or almost. The downsides are not numerous: the bread is not great and the butter served in its plastic packaging which does not fit in with the select decor of the room. The zucchini gratin which was actually al dente zucchini covered in béchamel. But were not going to quibble for a meal for less than $50! Because, in the end, I was satisfied with my experience !

We took the tomahawk and for the price it was extremely disappointing!! The meal arrived cold and the meat didnt have much flavor. We expected a rather quiet and calm atmosphere but it was quite noisy, nothing romantic. Quite ordinary not to have a menu too, you have to be able to read it on the back wall. As for drinks, not much choice and what we had wasnt great. In short, we wont come back thats for sure!

The food was delicious and we made culinary and wine discoveries, in fact we had a great experience each time. The service was impeccable. We then decided to choose the Castel for our wedding. What a good decision! A perfect dinner, impeccable service with an incredible team, all our guests loved it, plus the portions were generous and a real delight. It is impossible to lie to you. First experience at the Castel and it was a great one. We were received by staff who were passionate about good food, including the sommelier who advised us on both food and wine. The meal was excellent from starter to dessert. I had a starter of foie gras which tasted like heaven and what can I say about the flank steak with shallot butter. Dinner at the Castel on Saturday evening my partner ordered a medium steak. He received very, very blue meat so it was not edible!!! The waitress offered to turn the steak over???.how can we resume cooking it? a steak that is served with sprouts and fried onions on top????to insult the chef offered him a digestive!!! NO EXCUSE but we were charged $70 for this missed steak that he didnt eat. What a great way to treat a customer!!!! Afterwards the restaurants complain that business is decreasing!!! A restaurant to cross off our list.

What a beautiful table that Trois-Rivières can boast of! Everything was perfect, starting with the service, the care taken with our 5 year old daughter, until the dessert. The wine choices, the perfect menu, everything everything. We will come back, that s for sure!

Kid-friendliness: Kids meals arent on the menu, but there are kid-friendly meals, and plenty to keep them busy with a coloring book and crayons.

Excellent restaurant. We went there as a group after a Chamber of Commerce gala and it was a wonderful discovery. The presentation is neat, the staff very attentive and the food delicious. I will definitely return there on other occasions or to try their heated terrace!

Very disappointed, my partner is intolerant to garlic. She mentioned it to the waiter, he told her that he had no problem, the cook would adapt the recipe accordingly. She orders a beef tartare, which is quite easy to adapt... she received a big stack of unseasoned raw meat with a salad without vinaigrette and no croutons. Really, for a restaurant calling itself a good restaurant, its very disappointing.

As you already know, I have a sweeter tooth than the average bear and this time I tried the Le Castel restaurant. What a pleasant surprise to discover a well-adapted French cuisine restaurant. The evening menu, like the lunch menu, is an invitation to culinary tasting. The dishes are presented in a remarkable way and the flavors are there. The service is excellent and the bill is affordable. In short, a culinary experience that is worth the detour. I recommend it to you.

Very disappointing experience, we were expecting a gourmet restaurant but the service was not up to par at all, even with a restaurant that was not very busy. First there was no more tartare, the flank steak should have been cooked medium rare but it was blue, the mashed potatoes were really too salty and the accompanying vegetables were dry and unappealing. The reinvented shrimp cocktail was made with shrimp and a red sauce like you see in all shrimp cocktails. For the price we expected much better preparation and research into the food. The poor service was made up for by the sommelier who was passionate. We hope it was just a bad night for the team because we think this restaurant had a lot of potential.
