300 Rue Bonaventure, Trois-Rivières, QC G9A 2B1, Canada
Housed in an old church, this eatery serves grilled sandwiches, soups, salads, casseroles & wine.
Limited menu that’s lacking taste. Walk 2 mins towards the Main Street and choose from the available restaurants. Would avoid, better options in the small town
Beautiful little place in the heart of Trois-Rivières. Great service, great food.
What a nice place to eat. Poor girl she was alone doing everything. When we went it wasn't crowded but she never stopped. The food was amazing, I simply loved the buckwheat crepes she made for us. I will return for sure.
It has a very charming atmosphere and the servers were very nice, but there was consistent quality on the crepes we ordered as some were very hard and rigid. The glasses and pitchers throughout the restaurant were not clean. If they can fix their dishwasher and maybe get new eyeglass prescriptions they should be fine. It is a really sweet place.
I have a feeling this place used to be better than it is now, given the reviews. Nothing wrong with a limited menu but the food should be good. Everything looks appetizing on the plate, but my goodness is it bland. Bland to the point of being baffling. Same unseasoned salad mix in both the crepe and side salad, no sauce, no salt, no pepper, dry chicken, hard croutons in the onion soup, no sweetness in the sour, enamel-stripping lemonade... Service was mediocre. It’s a beautiful location and building that could be far better utilized.
This is the show of one woman. She is the cook, server, and the one who asks if you want a tea or coffee. She gives you free berries smoothies and tea during your wait, and a cookies before you leave the restaurant. Yes it will be a little bit slow because it is only her there on Sunday, but who wants to rush in this such a peaceful place? I get a crepe with blueberry and chocolate and it tastes very homemade, which makes the whole experience down to earth. Highly recommend!
This is one-woman show. One lady doing the tables, the cashier and the cooking. She was super nice and friendly, but service is SLOW as you would expect. Food was OK. Limited choices for brunch. Excellent coffee included
A delightful cafe with inside and sidewalk seating. Clean, well appointed, and delicious food!
For Brunch its not great I dont recommend it, maybe lunch or dinner is better, I hope so! In the morning you have the choice between pancakes or the famous breakfast board. We had a buckwheat crepe which was quite bland served with 2 pieces of orange cut unevenly, the coffee was good for a restaurant! Our friends took the lunch board which was $45 and advertised for two people, but the portion was actually for one person! A few scrambled eggs, some walnuts, a little ham and grated cheese and veggie paté, in addition to the famous homemade bread which was compact, it was quite ridiculous for the price but hey, an anecdote. The service was OK but clearly lacked experience. The building is beautiful!
Great lunch today.
What a great little discovery in Trois-Rivières. Small, unpretentious restaurant but which offers excellent Gazpacho and succulent crepes served by Coralie (to whom we wish every success in her studies in the city). Parking: Rue Bonaventure there was room at noon on a Tuesday.
A good address with a very affordable menu (table dhôte) (for us, onion soup, savory pancake, brownie and drink), homemade, in a friendly setting.
Very tasty
Very nice little restaurant, the setting is very pleasant. The menu is kept to a minimum but everything is there, the bread for the sandwiches is homemade and very good, the same for the lemonade. I recommend!
Limited choice. Few typical local dishes. Dish of the day bland buckwheat pancakes.
Excellent little address which was able to welcome our group of 10 at short notice and with a big smile. Simple but very good dishes and rhubarb pana cotta perfectly concluding an already royal lunch. THANKS !
We shared the lunch board and loved it!! The place is intimate, you dont have to be in a hurry. I recommend this place where you can enjoy homemade dishes and pause time for a moment!!
Excellent neighborhood restaurant. The salad is excellent and the service too.
Worst experience in a long time
A place with an extraordinary atmosphere. It is a true haven of peace, bright, calm and where you eat very well! During our visit we had the carrot soup of the day as a starter, then the dish of the day: a ham and cheese pancake (replaced with egg for vegetarians) and finally a chômeur pudding for dessert. We had a blast! I highly recommend!
Very very nice place. We loved the food and the service! Everything was excellent!
It was perfect for a little brunch with friends on Mothers Day. It was full, but we didnt feel like it was crowded. The service was impeccable, with perfect timing. The food was tasty, the desserts, the bread, the coffee. A very nice discovery.
The lunch board to share is filled with beautiful, tasty local foods. The service is impeccable.
Great place, little choice on the menu because the quality is more than present! I highly recommend it if you pass through three rivers
Magnificent brunch. We were very well received with our 2 children. The service was very long though. (2h) Kid-friendliness: Childrens brunch menu + chalk board
Interesting places for brunch. Simple menu. Regular dishes with special touches. Excellent taste.
A small café restaurant worth discovering in downtown Trois-Rivières.
Falling for something. Local products and great service! Parking: No parking, but easy to find on surrounding streets.
Tartiflette and cheese crepe from the local cheese shop! Super good! Brunch includes for $20 (for the most expensive menu) a coffee (or other hot drink), a very good tartiflette (or savory or sweet crepe), a smoothie and a small dessert! The waitress is super nice! Best value for money in Trois-Rivières!
Excellent brunch !
In all simplicity, we warmly welcome you with very nice cuisine! Top daily menu, very fresh. We loved it!
Perfect! Thanks for the bread recipe. Yummm
Simple meal. Fast service. Excellent for lunch!
Just lovely! Super good food and service. The meal included an amazing onion soup, chicken sandwich on to-die-for bread, salad, oatmeal cookie and great coffee. Merci beaucoup!
Charming and warm bistro-style restaurant where they serve good, unpretentious, simple meals. The welcome and service are very good. The atmosphere is warm. Excellent value for money. I will definitely return.
We had reservations for 15 people and when we arrived, the restaurant was closed and no one notified us. Big lack of respect and professionalism. Did you know that its not easy to change plans with 15 people during the festival.
Reservation not respected we bumped our noses on the door no return call we had to find another restaurant which could accommodate 14 people THANK YOU LE BRASIER FOR WELCOME US
Very very disappointing, non-compliance with reservation, arrival at a closed door without notice, this is unacceptable! Even when faced with the unexpected, a company does not leave its customers in the impasse without a word, frankly very weak on their part.
Discovered by chance, for a small stop on the road. The place is really beautiful inside. We only had a matcha latte, so I cant give opinions on the food. Certainly the owner who served us was a lovely and very sweet person, and obviously the matcha latte was very good.
The soups were served cold, the crepes where dry and tasteless. The coffee was not good. Service was ok but nothing exceptional. Did not enjoy the experience at all. Cuisine was of cafeteria quality.
Unpretentious place with a warm welcome and excellent food
Very very disappointed Having seen the rating of 4.4 on Google we ate at the Sacristan. But neither the dishes, nor the service, nor the price were good... The dishes were cold, tasteless and lacked salt. We were still hungry afterwards. The waitress was not competent or friendly either The beer is served at a price of $10, which seems exaggerated to us. In short, we do not recommend.
Not too expensive and very good! The all-inclusive lunch is a great option!
We went there because it was recommended in the Routard but it was quite disappointing. We ordered the sharing menu thinking it was brunch. It actually consisted of a charcuterie and cheese board, with seeds and a few unfortunate slices of bread. The quantity was small and it looked like it was a board bought at the supermarket, for which we paid a high price. The service was ordinary. The waitress was idle when we arrived and couldnt wait for us to leave. Other customers complained about the burnt coffee they were served... In short, we expected much better for the price!
Very decent menu for a light meal. Good quality Attentive and friendly service.
We were received by a charming and friendly man. We ate a tasty and hot Chili in these cold weather. I recommend the address
The place is very nice. We received a great welcome, we could have stayed for hours talking with the man who served us. Plus it was very good, homemade dishes at affordable prices we will come back this summer!
Disappointed! On almost everything....except on the service the waiter is so nice ...we settled for two soups and my companion left her soup there because it wasnt good...2 very small bowls $5 each
Ashamed to continue to ask for the vaccination passport when studies show that it has no impact AND that it is suspended.
A restaurant which does not respect citizens and which continues to segregate citizens. To be banned in our society.
The restaurant owner wishes to have only VACCINED people inside his establishment. Even if the vaccination passport is no longer required.
The owner said he wanted fully vaccinated customers despite the QR code being removed
Bistro-style cuisine, vegetarian options, simple and good. Rather small portions without a more generous dish to accommodate several types of appetite. Pleasant and fast service. Excellent coffee.
Really a beautiful restaurant to discover and the staff is really professional. Go and discover it, you will not be disappointed.
Simple but excellent cuisine, fresh produce, very good homemade bread We have been there several times, always very good. Well done and thank you
Very disappointed, fresh food however nothing has any taste, dry chicken, hairs in the sandwich (2). Long and very expensive service for a lunch menu which includes water and celery soup and a slice of reheated pizza. 25 + taxes + tip. Beautiful place with character, however their entire menu concept needs to be reviewed.
Great discovery. Very friendly staff. Fresh food. Special mention to the Gazpacho soup. Great place for lunch at a reasonable price.
Warm, friendly and very good. Everything is made on site, delicious . I recommend the table dhôtes formula!
Delicious sandwiches using freshly made bread inhouse. Very tasty french onion soup. Charming setting and friendly service. Baked goods look good but we refrained. Bilingual service.
French passing through. We loved it. Excellent pancake, soup and coffee. Boss at the top.
Cant wait to go back, I miss you
Nice place. Funny customer service design. Not very user-friendly. A little expensive for a reheated quiche.
Very good. Cheap. And nice location.
Service was very friendly but the food took a long time to arrive (wasnt particularly busy either). Portions were small and of decent quality.
We were greeted by the owner (or chef?) who came out of the kitchen WITHOUT a mask. When he saw us take out our cell phones, he said to us in an ultra-sarcastic tone: Booooo, I guess you want to show me your QR code? It makes me laugh how proud you are to take out your QR codes. Well, congratulations for your beautiful code! » He did not scan our code or validate any ID as required by law. As we are not from the region and we did not have time to find another restaurant open on a Monday lunchtime, we ate on the terrace (no question of eating inside and having to endure this man again). The onion soup au gratin tasted burnt and was sweet as if they had actually put white sugar in it. The pasta was dry as if it had spent the morning in a stove. In short, a very bad experience for me and for the person who accompanied me.
Amazing staff and great food for a great price!
Nice friendly atmosphere. Excellent meal throughout: coffee, soup, tartiflette and crème brûlée!
Very warm like coffee. Nice atmosphere.
Very good restaurant with a good selection of vegetarian dishes
beautiful and good service, but the menu is mostly sandwiches. There are no dishes we would like to have for lunch. I ordered tomato soup and it was good.
Not to be missed under any circumstances.
Excellent service! Super relaxed atmosphere! Awesome !
Warm, simple and well-lit place. Delicious onion soup, simple dish, very good and well proportioned. With welcoming and attentive staff! Very reasonable price. Not to be missed.
Excellent table dhôte meal at 20 CAD. Courteous and welcoming staff
Very interesting world, a great menu and very good dishes with good products. The service is great and the team is very nice.
Excellent service and products, prices too high
Cozy restaurant with delicious food including sandwiches, salads, quiche, soups. The owner is very helpful. It also has vegetarian options and a reasonable selection of wine and cider. It is a great stop between Montreal and Quebec and is located in the historic neighborhood of Trois Rivières.
Very nice restaurant with a pleasant and warm welcome. A great address for a little culinary stopover in Trois Rivière.
Nice place. Friendly staff and healthy food.
Good place to have a stop and eat something while visiting Three Rivieres. There are several options to have lunch including soups, sandwiches, salads and desserts.
Very nice ambiance very friendly and great selection
Amazing staff and food, I will recommend :)
What an original place and the food is really good, with local products.
Just what we needed on our way from Montreal to Quebec City. Fresh, delicious and friendly.
Beautiful lunch inside a former church. Lots of light with great food. Cauliflower postage was delicious. I really enjoyed the mushroom quiche with the salad. Very nice dressing for the salad. Excellent maple sugar pie and cookies. Cappuccino is to die 4. Lovely service. Very nice and friendly. Highly recommended!
Very good and the doses are appreciable
Very good
Excellent welcome and the sandwiches are very good
A friend and I stopped at Le Sacristain when we were traveling from Montreal to Quebec City. We decided to stop at Trois-Rivieres to visit the center of the city and to have an early lunch. It is important to note that there are very few competitors for a lunch around this area of town, but that this place could make an effort to vary its menu a little more and to improve the size of its portions. Whatever was on offer was well presented and appealing, but not enough to make me want to repeat the experience.
Excellent service, delicious food, and great location.
Delicious menú du jour. Great service. Real flavour at down to earth price. A real local Gem.
Very good address.
Nice, but theyre still sandwiches all the same.
A good little restaurant. The dishes are delicious and are homemade.
Delicious food. Wonderful service. Cute location in old church.
A great discovery for a delicious lunch on the go! Welcoming, pleasant and smiling service!
The atmosphere is great if you like proximity, the staff takes great care and the owners exude contagious happiness.
Really lovely place, well located. The architecture of the building is one of the most beautiful in downtown Trois-Rivières. The staff is really friendly and professional. We eat really well there.
What a lovely lunch spot. The service is great and the menu is eclectic and delicious!
Know very good and charming
Incredible inconvenience in an old presbytery, a date cake to die for. Very welcoming and helpful staff. A must
It s a very charming sandwich shop with impeccable service.
Impeccable service, excellent daily menu.
Atypical place, simple but refined cuisine
Delicious restaurant. Amazing service, and fresh, tasty food.
Excellent quality price
Simple, fresh, good and very reasonably priced.
If youre looking for a great little quiet/romantic restaurant, this is for you! Attentive and super kind staff! Ask Angelique ;)
Lots of choice and good, very welcoming sandwich
Nice spot for a light meal. Has a large table that can seat 14 which was perfect for our group.
Delicious sandwiches. Very cute place!
Food ok but questionable business practices. The prices of the formulas indicated on the menus are misleading, they charge as if you had not taken a formula.
Good place for a lunch. Local food and many local drinks even some local wine. Service could be a bit faster, but otherwise fine place.
Beautiful decor, nice atmosphere, good service, good food. A place close to excellence.
Pleasant setting, very warm welcome and delicious dishes. A good address.
Super good!!
Very good meal. Good welcome. Atypical menus and nice setting.
Beautiful little restaurant, friendly and healthy. Closed between Christmas and early March.
More sympathetic than that you die. We dream that they will be open in the evening too...
Excellent restaurant for dinner! Design, service and delicious food
Excellent place to grab a bite to eat in downtown Trois-Rivières. Sandwishes, soup and salad for less than $15. Correct quality/price ratio. Unique decor. We really like it!
Pleasant service, the products are fresh, the sandwiches are really good and plentiful. There remains perhaps the price which is a bit high but once at the table this is quickly forgotten!
Like at home with welcome and classy food
Amazing food and service. Bright and relaxing atmosphere in old reimagined church. Freshest ingredients and combinations. My family of 4 say Yum.
Nice service Good food
Awesome place. Super fresh food and homemade everything. Great staff and lovely owners. A gem!
Extremely charming place, friendly service and mouth-watering food
Wow the service and the atmosphere the welcome the energy felt by the restaurateur is more than 5 stars. restaurant very clean and very well appointed with an accessible ramp to handicap them. thank you sacristan hugues from dystamax
An obligatory stopover in Trois-Rivières. A magnificent welcome and excellent cuisine. We can eat there from 10 a.m.
A delight in simplicity (and home!)
original restaurant, good cuisine, warm atmosphere to know
Nice restaurant half way from Montreal to Quebec city.
Wonderful, friendly service and delicious quiche, with fresh vegetable salad. Soup du jour: carrot! Great ambience - its not a church anymore.
Simple and creative food. Courteous service
Very affordable and quality meal. Since I have been in Quebec for 15 days, it is difficult to find restaurants of this quality at this price.
adorable welcome but at the same time we are in Quebec . very warm place and very good sandwiches
