Mucho Burrito Fresh Mexican Grill in Tsawwassen

I come in usually about once a week, almost every week, since the opening of this location. I have decided in this time to overlook the rock hard rice and chicken that you could break a tooth on if you come between 6-8pm between Monday-Wednesday, or having to request fresh vegetables because the ones in the tray look brown. These things never deterred me, and I kept coming back. Until Saturday, November 23rd, around 7:20pm, when I went home and saw that the chicken in my burrito was PINK. I wont be coming back. Gave 2 stars because this is a first occurrence in the many years Ive been coming, but it was revolting and I will not be returning.

Our burritos were excellent, the brown rice was really good (I normally only get white rice, but the brown looked so good), the meats were really good and I loved the sauces. Everyone was really friendly and the restaurant was very clean.

Ive been to several mucho burrito locations in overall enjoy it. At this location the meat was dry as if it had been prepared days ago or maybe cooked and then Frozen. It was awful. Made worse by the fact it was far too salty. This is not how it is served at other locations. I will be back to mucho burrito but not this one

Tsawwassen Mucho Burrito - Chicken was overcooked, dry and heavily seasoned.with garlic salt. All I could tatse was garlic. It was awful. I made it known to staff but she didnt seem to care. I wont eat here again.

Today, April 1, 2024 my wife and I went to this place in Tsawwassen. There were two girls, both of the very unfriendly, without a smile , with a heavy east indian accent, hard to understand. The food was OK, then we order a churro to go, when we tried at home, the dough was made with cinnamon, when it should be without for the customer to choose if we want with sugar aprinkle on top or with cinnamon. The churro was not full cooked and the inside was uncooked dough and it was not crispy as it should be. Please. Correct those things and the place will be more pleasant to go.

Food was fresh. Healthy food, you can add the items of your choice. Clean, covid protocol in place. Only thing they need consider is that when I asked for little more pickled onions, I was told that I have to pay xtra. Spending over $50 here on food and upon requesting for a little bit xtra onion and being asked to pay extra left bitter taste in mouth.

I visit this spot regularly for the consistent food and the staff are quick. I recommend it to others.

Ordered a mucho sized burrito and it was cold. Chicken was overcooked ( burnt) on one side and undercooked on the other. Rice was cold. The toppings were cold. Flavor was lacking. I am a regular customer at Mucho burrito, but at other locations and I was thoroughly disappointed by my meal.

Being a mexican food lover , i tried this place nd had the best chicken bowl. The employee was so nice nd helped me decide my sauces nd toppings according to my taste. He gave his full potential to make me a good dinner tonight . I highly recommend visiting this place if you crave fresh mexican food with and add on of awesome customer service .

Short brown guy with a beard is super rude. Major attitude. I bought a bowl and it was legit 1/2 full. I ve been to many other Muchos before and never had such a bad experience. I paid full price so I expect proper portion sizes but more importantly better customer service. Never coming here again. Edit: I find it hilarious how after my truthful review was posted and after the owner replied there happens to be three new reviews back to back regarding customer service and portion sizes. I love how the employee went out of his way to get his friends to cover up for his rude and unacceptable behaviour. I will be emailing corporate as well regarding this situation.

Came in here 25 minutes before closing, ample time to eat a burrito. Asked for the shrimp, which took a few minutes to cook. The told me they were closing in 20min, I could tell they did not want to make me shrimp but they did it anyway. They forgot to add sauce so when I asked for it, they seemed a bit rude about it, reluctantly giving me the sauce. My son and I finished up just in time and we were getting up to leave when they started shutting off the lights on us. This made my 5yr old cry. Very rude service, will not come back.

Very good! Been here a few times now for lunch and they always impress! Other establishments in the area seem to be giving less and less in their burritos, donairs, as toppings etc etc, but Mucho Burrito does not! I ll keep coming back because they aren t trying to take advantage of me by giving less and less. I leave feeling full and that s all that matters!

20 bucks for the mucho size burrito and it s the worst burrito I ve ever had. It s 4 pounds of rice. No grilled veggies which are usually available.

it was a great experience,the quality of food was better than what would expect on food court. Also at least in vancouver area Chiptole quality was lower than what I experieced here. totally recommeded if you are into mexican style food. Dont forget to try the Mango Arritos drink. [Update: In response to the message that was left by Mucho Burrito PR team, I had taken time out of my day to email them like they had suggested.. and its been well over a week and half and Ive received no response from them whatsoever.] [Update 2: Its been 3 weeks, and I even sent them a 2nd email to make sure they got the first... still no reply.] Now I cant help but feel that they REALLY dont care, but rather, they just wanted to feign and give the optics on here as though they do. At this point, though, it just feels like a feeble and disingenuous attempt at doing damage control without having to actually make any concessions to win me back as a customer. This was just salt in the wound in my opinion.] Horrible experience here. Bit down on a sharp object in my vegetarian (so wasnt bones) burrito and almost broke my tooth; Im not sure if it was glass or really hard plastic. I showed the woman who made it, and she tried to tell me that it was just hard rice... its clearly not rice. She also tried to take it from me... which seemed like she wanted to get rid of it before I could take pictures. She ended up getting the manager on the phone, and the manager said that the best they could do was make me a new burrito and possibly give me 50% off my next burrito when i come in next. Keep in mind that A) This thing almost broke my tooth, and B) If I swallowed it there would have been a good chance I would have had to go to the hospital to remove it because I dont think this would have been able to pass naturally.. So yea, simply telling me theyd make me a new burrito (which might have had another sharp object in it again) wasnt enough to keep me as a loyal customer. Mucho Burrito in the Tsawassen commons is THE BEST Mexican grill restaurant Ive ever been too. The food is excellent, varying from a wide range of ingredients and sauces. The employees at Mucho Burrito are one of the most kind, patient and efficient workers Ive seen! The owners, notably are the same, greeting everyone who walked inside and exited the restaurant. Despite the large crowds that came and went, the place remained clean and hygienic. Id also like to applaud the quantitys given in my meal because they were enough to fill me for the day! The best part was that it was all healthy and full of protein. Ive already been to this Mucho Burrito many times and equally loved the tacos, bowls, burritos, and the treats like Churros. Expect me to come again because the experience was amazing!!!

I went to the restaurant last year and came back countless other times because the food was so good! I ordered a burrito with the wide variety of ingredients there and the staff worked fast but still made it taste excellent. The floors were clean and the place looked hygienic the managers were really kind greeting me as I came and left. Over all this place is very good and is my go-to restaurant. Keep up the good work!

About what Id expect from fast food Mexican chain. Rice was a bit stale, but otherwise reasonable price for the portion size and taste good.

I am fan of Mucho Burrito throughout the LMD. This is my first (and last) time visiting the Tsawwassen Mills restaurant. I was unpleasantly surprised of the service and quality of my meal. Smallest burrito (Mucho size) Ive ever had, about half the size of a normal Mucho. Unfortunately, communication with staff was labored and was nickel & dimed with veggies and guac. I understand Covid and economy are factors, but for $30+ for this does not reflect value. Corporate should take note of standards. Disappointed Regular.

Beef,chicken,chorizo with tomato,cheese,med sauce, sour cream. Quite frankly i couldnt really tell the difference from each ! Tasty i suppose . Chorizo not very spicy . Tacos werent very warm after short time . Maybe nuke them for 20 seconds before serving i guess . Grandaughter had a burrito. She was happy . Yes Ill go back . Reasonable price.

Ive been eating at muchos all over Alberta for the last 10 years and Ive never had a burrito that was made or tasted as well as the burrito I just had from here.

All tables were dirty. The music was inappropriate and the food was all dried up along the edges of the containers. Its also very annoying when they ask you for a tip when youve come to them to dine in. Parking: Lots of parking as this restaurant is located in a mall/plaza parking lot. Usually never had any complaints from this place... but customer service wise was really disappointed today by staff. Staff told me It is impossible to serve nachos right now because we are cleaning the oven right now. It is more than 1.5 hour till closing time.

If I have to say one of the best places to have mexican food. I especially liked the veggie bowl I got but all the other options looked equally tempting and I have to say finding good vegetarian food in lower mainland is not easy. The whole vibe with smiling faces really felt nice. Would love to come again. Vegetarian options: The veggie options are not limited to burritos but goes for all their different options like bowls and tacos and comes with soy protein also. Kid-friendliness: The place is kid-friendly with the workers providing a nice welcome and soothing environment.

I came to the city yesterday from Victoria, jst wanted to bring into the management notice that the service provided by the guy working was outstanding . He made me the best bowl i ever had at this location.This is going to be my go to place everytime m here. He is an asset to the company. Very clean restaurant, fast service and a cheerful environment.He was handling all the customers with proper care and maintaining a very good speed of service too. Thank you for providing good and healthy food when i was away from home .

I come to this place almost all the time and they never fail to impress. The customer service is excellent. They actually listen to you, unlike other places where they dont listen and end up messing up the order. Clean lobby and great food. 100% recommended.

Went there today for a vegetarian bowl and was very disappointed. They are very cheap on toppings. My wife had a vegetarian salad bowl and they put barely any lettuce into the bowl which basically was the base. The manager obviously does not care about the bad reviews anyways as others had the same bad experience with the serving size. Will never go back to this location.

Must be the worst Mucho ever. Been to them all, find someplace else close by. Money dump, no fresh veggies, just looks like some sort of soup in there, meats dry on top, $1.50 for 1/2 tea spoon of guacamole? Never again!

We LOVE Mucho Burrito at the Tsawwassen Commons! My husband and I go there at least once a week for their tacos. The staff are incredibly lovely - they know us and have our orders memorized. Always so polite and friendly. And the pork carnitas tacos are so super yummy. Fresh ingredients and great flavours!

Seems silly that you can t customize a bowl (the chicken tinga bowl) I was able to at Scottsdale mall (that mucho is the best!). Even when I was ok without doing a full customization and having everything in there as the recipe calls for, I couldn t ADD anything. Was willing to pay extra to add sour cream, crispy chillis and pico de gallo but they wouldn t do it for me for some reason like literally could not pay for more? Odd. Won t be coming back. Shame. All because of poor service.

This place is good as long as you know what you want. If youre like me I love to make my own bowls wraps or tacos. They do crave a bit more than what you get but not bad overall.

Used to go here once a week for a mucho burrito. Now that the price has gone up its costs around 23$ for a mucho burrito, drink and chips. Thats an insane price to pay. It used to be around 15$. I cant come here and continue to pay sit down resteraunt prices.

Today we went to this place to eat. we had incredibly bad experience fro service to food. 1) We(family of four 2 adults and 2 kids) reach at 7:30pm and denied to dine in because they close at 8:00pm. Staff were dining when we reach their but we were refused 2) Girls working their is very sad and it looks like they are forced to work their, it seems that they were upset that we are ordering food. 3) we ordered their biggest size burrito and 3 tacos. IT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING BECAUSE BURRITO IS JUST BREAD AND FULL OF RICE AND OTHER TOPPINGS ARE IN VERY LESS QUANTITY. ( Burrito is our favourite food we eat places like chipotle and other mucho burrito location. Now why we went to Mucho Burrito. We went their because of mucho Burrito LANGLEY Location. This LANGLEY location gave us very delicious food. Normally I have no time to write review but after this experience I couldnt help it. Thanks for Reading.

Yesterday, I went this location and I had a burrito. I never been there before this was my first time so I do not know like how it works. But their staff is really good they helped me with the menu and guide me properly. I really impress by their efforts. Moreover, the food was Awesome and the environment of this restaurant is really neat and clean. I definitely come back.

The staff here act like the toppings are coming out of their paycheque. My burrito was so small that it wasn t even half that I get at other locations for the same price. If you re going to make your burritos smaller than other locations you should lower your prices because I got half of what I usually pay for and I kept telling the staff to put extra toppings and they wouldn t. Won t be back again, a literal money dump. Based off the other reviews, I can tell this terrible location does NOT take customer feedback seriously. There are other people saying the same thing and I can see the issue is yet to be resolved. It s not that hard to tell your staff to put more toppings, I worked in the food industry for 4 years and it is literally so EASY to add the proper amount of toppings. Can t believe I dumped $20 here on two burritos to get the equivalent of one. For perspective my burritos were smaller than my palm.

Unfortunately I have to give this location a low rating. Ive been here 3 times and 2 of them were really disappointing. The other time was barely passable. Ive had the rice still hard and not fully cooked, meat was dry and hard. Food was completely cold. Just below the standard of other locations like the Burnaby market crossing which is always a home run. Never been disappointed going there. Hopefully this place improves soon.

Lots of vegetarian options and the food is pretty fast with lots of fresh veg. I was there 2x in past month. Customer service needs work. Staff are very difficult to hear/understand and have a lot of difficulty understanding and answering questions. The woman serving me last time seemed totally checked out. The last two times they werent stocking items listed on their menu - my boyfriend wanted shrimp but apparently they have decided not to sell it at this location. Of note, the sauces are almost all variants of mayo (just in case thats not your thing) and salsas are considered a topping rather than a sauce so you may end up paying extra if you want that.

I was really in the mood for a burrito and ended up completely disappointed. Not only was it not good, it was disgusting. I got a vegetarian version and it had a really fishy taste. I am not one to waste food, I eat everything on my plate, but no way could I finish this. It went into the compost bin. So disappointing.

Very unprofessional staff. I called them ahead to place a large order for work dinner and they asked me to come in store and take the order on spot. When I walked into the store the representatives there refused to take my order as it was too large for them. My order was very simple of regular burritos and there was only one customer ahead of me. I do not see any reason for them to refuse my order. They explained I should complete online form for larger orders one day prior, but when I phoned them they gave me conflicting information. Regardless, I dont see when no customer is in store why would they say no to a customer willing to take out food for 12 people and , who is giving them business.

Fresh ingredients and my mouth is still dancing from the taste of the peach/mango salsa and guacamole.

Pretty sub par. Quesadilla lacked cheese and had a long black hair in it. The guacamole lacked flavour and needed lime juice and salt and the chips may have been a bit stale. Not sure I would go back. Went today for lunch.

I eat a lot of food here. They pretty much know my name now. The bowls are very delicious and they make the mucho burritos huge and yummy.

If you know what you want in a burrito get one from here it may be too much to finish

The Burritos were mainly cold rather than hot. The worst part was when I caught one of the employees use his bare hands to touch the food that had fallen outside the containers, and put it back in the containers. He thought no one would notice, but I noticed. He was also not wearing a mask, unlike his colleague, she was wearing a mask. Made me feel gross after taking a bite from my Burrito, I kept thinking were his hands clean? Will I get COVID? I would never like to return to this location.

The Mucho Burrito, it was youge.

Really good burritos at a decent price, and friendly, competent staff

Decent food. You get very little for vegetables and such as they load up burritos will filler like rice or beans unfortunately but otherwise fairly good food

Good food and great service. I had this food yesterday. Staff is brilliant as I enter there was a huge lineup managed by just two employees. I had beef barbacoa bowl it was amazing. Since it was my first time with mucho burrito, they helped me by recommending their delicious toppings. I ll come back for sure

Good but the Burritos are much smaller than the Langley store. Tastes great...its a shame I know better! 3 more stars can come if you make them the size they are suppose to be.

Quick service no matter how indecisive the people are in front of you. Keep an eye on the veggies as they have some neat asssortments that you may not know to ask for.

One of the better Mucho Burritos I have been to. Clean, clean staff, well marked socially distancing stickers on the floor. They have served me a few minutes before closing no problems as well. I will go out of my way to come to this location instead of the one closest to my house.
