If you can't handle delivery orders imply don't offer the option. Every time I collect the food is great as soon as it's delivery it comes barely cooked, I order a meal box and the chicken is not 'cripsy' as stated but just about recooked. I have come here for many years but recently standards have dropped rapidly. Better off getting mcdonalds, atleast you know what you are going to get.

Food poisoning warning! If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was once a loyal customer here, ordering from this place almost every week for years. It used to be a spot I could rely on for good food, but over the past couple of years, the quality has seriously declined. I’m not sure if it’s due to new management, changes in suppliers, or a different kitchen team, but something has shifted, and it’s not for the better. My last order was an absolute nightmare and something I’ll never forget. My family and I ordered fried burgers, and shortly after eating, we all started to feel unwell. What followed was the worst case of food poisoning I have ever experienced. All five of us were sick, vomiting every five minutes for 12 hours straight. It was a horrible experience that left us all completely drained. It’s clear something is wrong in the kitchen—maybe it’s the oil they’re using, poor handling of the meat, or unhygienic practices during food prep. Whatever the cause, it’s not safe. Food poisoning on this level doesn’t happen without serious lapses in food safety, and it’s unacceptable for a restaurant to risk their customers’ health in this way. I will never order from here again, no matter what. Even if it was offered as my last meal on my death bed, I’d refuse. This experience has left me with no trust in their food or hygiene practices, and I would strongly caution anyone considering eating here.
First time eating here, called in on the off chance , polite staff, nice atmosphere. Food was faultless, will highly recommend to friends will be returning soon but will be having pudding as well
We ordered 3 American gourmet Burger food was very awful dry over cooked, staff members rude and we waited more than 30 minutes even though there was no customers except us. When we try to complain about food to the manager shouted us
Food ranged between bad and average. Fillet burger was average. Wings were stale and just tasted bad. The worst part was the customer service. Cashier was extremely blunt and threw the mayonnaise sachet in the bag when I asked for extra mayo. No basic manners and very poor expression. Made me feel like she prefers zero business compared to almost none as it is.
I suggest when you buy peri peri chicken here, make sure that they cooked the chicken infront of your eyes. If you get away and comeback to collect later, they will wrapped and give you the old stock chicken that has been previously cook. I can tell they gave me old stock because when I ate the chicken, it was cold and dry. Look at the photo and what I have found with in the google rate. Very bad business to con the customers.
Avoid this place. ****UPDATE**** Since last visiting this place, it has changed hands and under new management, initial impressions are it’s not as good and also HALAL certificate is not available or on display, although the shop representative verbally assures is it. ================================ Great place, service is fantastic and prices are reasonable. It can become hectic so orders can take time, so better off actually placing the order online or by calling through. The food is also Halal with a valid certificate displayed together with their hygiene rating. The quality of the chicken in my opinion is decent, texture and taste being excellent. Will definitely visit again!

Waited so long for my order (34mins)!. The woman counter who served looked very miserable and quite rude when I placed my order with good manners. On 8/8/2024 I and friend ordered two meals and the cashier charged us for three meals and we had to take away unnecessary meal! She and other members of staff lack experience and professionalism.

Something has changed here since the last time I came here. I usually takeaway and they re always rushing around prioritising deliveries first over customers in store. This time the chicken was SUPER greasy, a pool of oil was left in the box after I took out the chicken. The flavour wasn t as good as it used to be either. A real shame as I really liked their wings before.

Pathetic dingy shop.Ordered two spicy chicken burger meals on a late Friday night, after midnight. Perhaps they cant be bothered at night and serve older foo.The fries were old , cold, recooked a couple of times at least. The chicken fillet was old. The joys of late night food.

The employee said there was no pepper in the chicken, I asked 3 times and he said there was none. I ended up throwing everything in the trash because I dont eat pepper, its very spicy!

The food here is really nice but they take sooooo flipping long. Sometimes the wait is up to an hour for some food , ( chicken tikka) so I would not recommend if you are after some quick food that needs to be cooked. They are always very vague with the times and never give an honest answer. Last time I called ahead for a chicken tikka burger, the burger was only put on the grill the moment that I arrived (30 mins later). But again, the food is very tasty!

They are good for all things chicken related that involve a fryer or grill. The food is well priced and very good, if this is your thing.
Staff are very friendly, I was being served by Ibrahim, firstly if he doesnt own this shop then the owner needs to give him a pay rise because he treats the business ad of its his, customer service exceeds 5 stars he treated me like I was family so there is another positive, he was able to get store orders and online orders ready very efficiently no pressure no stress just calm and friendly. I havent had the food as of yet because its my first time here but the review is purely for him because of how he is.

Paid for a small chicken donar but ended up with more salad and, sauce than chicken. It was tasty but not worth the price paid for in this recession.
No doubt food is ok but seriously service is not good i went this shop on Monday night there was alot of people inside the shop in between 11 or 12 I thought they was ordering the food but after some time I realised they was drivers and they are sitting in a closed sitting area which is closed after 12 and I don t know why staff said nothing they was sit inside the shop shouted and laughed loudly that was very weird i saw there that day
I asked for a beef tikka wrap as advertised on the menu board...Instead was given kebab roll disguised as a wrap (pathetic) bland lots of lettuce thrown in, chilli sauce could have done more off. clearly wasnt fresh tikka as I had been told Everything about this place is OVERPRICED. I have been using them for years, now I am really disappointed with the quality,prices increased. I ordered chicken burger meal today the chicken got very thin and very tiny chips packed. If their quality don t improve I don t recommend.
Chicken burger meal burger came out smashed like the cook was angry with me but it did taste nice along with the fries I ordered a drink which the lady forgot to send out and also saw another customer come back asking for his drink that she forgot too. She did not smile and looked like she did not want to be there. Customer complaining that they waiting 30mins for fast food lots of space did not use bathroom so cannot review.

I have ordered Chicken Madras and it was damn spicy. I could not eat it, seems the green chilly was pasted and added in the curry. I am a passionate about spicy food, but this one i couldn t eat.

I must say this is by far the best take out I had in a long time. Ive been a regular to amigos and cheat meals but thought Ill give this place a try. Dont get me wrong the packaging is not as glamorous but it is neat. A lot of attention to detail the meal was prepped well seasoned and cooked to perfection not charred! Everything tastes fresh dont feel sluggish after eating it to in fact Im a actually in a great mood. A MUST TRY WILL ORDER AGAIN!

FOOD POISONING Was passing Uxbridge which isn t my usual place of work as it was lunchtime decided to try peri peri cottage seemed busy so I assumed would be ok Customer service was non existent not to surprised or bothered Got my food jumped in the car and upon opening the bag had a funny smell but didn t think on it too much began eating firstly picked out 2 bones from a fillet burger then after the second bite the smell was obviously coming from the burger threw the whole meal away and no less then 40 minutes later I m being sick in a side road and have still got horrendous stomach pains now 7 hours later AVOID
I had a delightful experience at Peri Peri Cottage. The service, especially from Ibrahim, was friendly and welcoming. The food here is of great quality, and the pricing is surprisingly competitive. A small downside is the limited waiting area available at night when the main restaurant section is closed. Additionally, during nighttime, the waiting times can extend a bit, which seems to be due to a shortage of staff on some occasions. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was positive, and I would recommend giving this place a try!

this Is horrible, as soon as I was waiting they gave me the WRONG THING and it happened 2 times in a row. The service is bad and the toilets are dirty. I do not recommend this bye!!!

The staff have such bad attitude, I was clearly waiting to order and the young man at the till carried on topping up sauce tubs.When I asked if he could serve me he did so with the hump.The staff obviously have no interest in the success of the business. Once in a rush weve popped in for some fast food and waited 15 minutes for nuggets and chips.I begrudgingly have had to come back once due to my sons friend only being able to eat halal.They use the same red bottles for chilli sauce as they do ketchup so all the red bottles have a hint of spice, the kids arent so keen on this .

Took over 90mins to come. When phoned the place they blame the Uber driver dispite the fact we can see on the app the poor uber driver waiting outside for half an hour. Uber driver also described on delivery waiting outside. Poor service really.
Honestly, it was shocking, if I could give less than one star then I would. For a restaurant that used to be reliable and enjoyable, it took 90 minutes from order to delivery only to be disappointed. Qpr fans dont even have this much disappointment after 90 minutes. Every item of food was colder than Christmas in Norway. Phoned the restaurant an hour and ten minutes after order was place and was greeted by a woman who clearly hates her job. I asked just phoning to find out where my order is? She replied all orders are out, youll have it in ten minutes (her watch must be broken too) I asked do you know my address? She replied no but every order is being delivered Before she decided to cut me off. Normally realiable but avoid ordering a takeaway.
Another shocking food delivery from here this evening. Our food took almost two hours to arrive. After an 1.5 hour wait, we called the restaurant for an update on our delivery and the woman we dealt with was so rude and tried to hang up on us multiple times. When our food arrived it was stone cold and inedible. We would call to complain but I don t think your staff would be very helpful. Won t be ordering from here again.
Poor service!!! Ordered food on Deliveroo - they missed out milkshakes, chicken burger, chips and milkshake. Phoned them to make them aware of error - took them over 1.5 hours to deliver correct items. Had to phone on 5 occasions to make sure I was getting my meal. Really bad service!
They are usually very efficient but tonight was the longest I had to wait. Saw a few customers who came in and got their order with me still waiting! If I have not prompted the one on the till, I would have waited much longer than expected cos he and his team has totally forgotten my order! With a simple cheeseburger, I have to wait 45 minutes but ti be honest it felt like an hour! He just smiled at me and didn t even say sorry!
