Chinese food, Dim Sum, Noodles
Very tasty authentic chinese food! So glad I found this restaurant. Now go here regularly! Will recommend ordering from the Chinese Special menu.
It was ok! The Singapore noodles were ok, the portion size was good, but the overall flavour and meat/veg was only ok. I also got the steamed dumplings which stuck to the paper, they tasted nice, but completely fell apart. The service was ok, surprised I asked for chopsticks and was basically talking on the phone the entire time I was there.
Don't order the chicken satay as a main, they'll send you a starter with 4 tiny skewers for £13. Crispy beef is a small portion of 99.99% batter with maybe a tiny shred of beef hidden somewhere (we couldn't find it). Dan Dan noodle was tasty but felt super greasy. The portion was ok and taste ok too, but overall will not be ordering from Fooyoung again. What a waste of £45 (that's excluding rice).
This place is amazing!! A little hidden gem that more people need to visit. The food was incredible. The mapo tofu was easily the highlight for me, so delicious and flavourful. Everything was delicious - chicken satay, pork belly and the beef in spicy noodle. We’ll definitely be returning, easily the best Chinese in Uxbridge hands down.
If you fancy some authentic Chinese food in Uxbridge, this is the place! I love its braised beef with a hint of Sichuan pepper corns, and chicken/beef in black bean sauce. Now they do deliveroo, definitely a don’t-wanna-go-out-on-a -lazy- Sunday-dinner option! Highly recommended!! 👍😀
The waiter speaks multiple languages, English, Cantonese and Mandarin. He was polite and friendly and gave us good recommendations for dishes. The food is more aligned with Southern China and very well executed. Well worth visiting a great local eatery!
Good tasty food! Mixture of authentic Chinese food and more western style food. Good customer service and seemed very family ran. Would be better if they did delivery and did more marketing to boost business.
Spicy dishes exactly match the taste like at home. High recommended if you have a proper Chinese stomach. Just a remind, parking in the mall is just one minute walk to the restaurant, if you exit by Odeon.
Excellent So delicious and traditional home flavor. I love the pork feet & soup very much I order it almost everytime. The food portions are very good and the price is reasonable. Also, I recommend the Hot and Sour Rice Noodles. Very authentic.
Food really tasty!! Especially for Sichuan Food! Highly recommended
Chicken hot pot is amazing ..love the food here and will definitely recommend this place
Amazing food and so authentic! I had the blood tofu and pork intestines would highly recommend
The London ceiling of dandan noodles in this shop! Carbohydrate head massage is a good way to drink it with your eyes closed. It is absolutely delicious!
The best Chinese restaurant in West London! Super authentic Sichuan restaurant! But the Northeastern dishes made by the chef are more delicious than those made by Northeasterners The price is very favorable!
Very traditional spicy Chinese food
Group of us went here for a meal, was very tasty and will go again.
A great first experience! Good food, good prices, good service. I feel this is an undiscovered restaurant. Could and should be busier considering how good it is!
The food was excellent
Braised beef flank was amazing !! Highly recommend this !!!
Walked past this restaurant a few days ago and thought I d try it, went in tonight and so glad I did, staff really friendly and food was so good, really tasty and fresh, will definitely be returning.
Formal Sichuan restaurant tastes good
Amazing food.
Delicious Mapo Tofu
They have a 1 on hygienic rating...
There is hotpot in Uxbridge now and its awesome here.
Ive been to quite a few Sichuan places in London and this is my favourite. Ive brought many a colleagues to introduce them to Sichuan cuisine for the first time ever. Vegetarian options: Small selection of vegetarian options but most dishes customizable to be made vegetarian if needed.
I randomly searched for a small shop on my way out of the city, and I was unexpectedly surprised. It was very authentic Sichuan cuisine. I just came here to visit and didn t know much about the Chinese food scene here, but for domestic tourists who grew up in Sichuan, it was already very authentic! I highly recommend the boiled beef and red oil pig ears. It costs 200+ per person and is super filling. I hope the business will get better and better. Comments and Google can be found on both sides. Hhh
Wow! The real deal here. Had the sea bass hot pot; spicy & numbing from the zingy Sichuan peppercorns, tofu & veggies in an umami-rich broth. Just perfect for a cold day. Got talking to the friendly and helpful staff and their other restaurant Chilli Cool in Euston (which I had visited and found really good a couple of years back) has more choice and some gluten-free options. Not cheap, but done properly. You won t find many Anglos in here as it is not your usual UK Chinese fare. Highly recommended if you are adventurous. Going back for crispy fried stuff!
No menu online available. It s a shame. I love the food I ve tried.
We went there Saturday afternoon round 1.30pm, very quiet. Waitress was friendly, nice quick service since after we arrived 2 other parties joined. I had the prawn toast - delicious, packed to the top with prawns. I asked the waitress for a recommendation she suggested the Ran Noodles with minced pork. It was so good, spicy but not too hot and flavoursome. The pak choi needed some seasoning, but mixed with everything else it was fine. My first had the crispy chicken with spicy Noodles.
This is a failing restaurant. The kitchen staff is VERY lazy. The food is pre-cooked, not on the same day. From the fish we had, Im guessing 2 days beforehand. Very dissapointing.
The food is spot on! Hands down the best sea bass hot pot I ve had ! The double cooked pork and fried rice were delicious Will definitely come back for more . Food : 5/5
Amazing traditional food, friendly staff and great overall.
Amazing food
Great authentic food, really enjoyed the dumplings and spicy Sichuan chicken will be back.
Great food, the head waiter explains how the menu works and his recommendations for dishes, we order 8 dishes and enjoy ever one.
Had a fantastic meal here with our friends, the staff made us feel very welcome and provided a great service, the best Chinese food Ive had in a long time.
We ordered Kung po chicken and black bean sauce pork. Very good quality of good, service is also good and it feels very authentic. It s a bit pricey but value for money.
This is probably one of the best Chinese restaurants I have eaten in the food is fresh, the service is well timed, and the food is delicious and authentic tasting. This also has to be one of the most peculiar restaurants in terms of how it operates. Right now it is temporarily closed, and I genuinely hope it really is temporary. I was fortunate to eat there once, once lockdown restrictions has eased sufficiently. The restaurant does not do delivery, so you do have to go in. For a while they only ran a lunch service, closed in the evenings. I hope to see its return, because I really want to explore its menu further, the food was faultless.
The hotpot and homemade noodles are to die for, all tasted as authentic as it gets. Small family business and very warm and friendly atmosphere. Fantastic location, ideal place to eat after shopping. Definitely will go regularly
Food is too good and tasty. They do hot pot here. Place is amazing.. Only thing they don t do beer pints and sell beer in small bottles.
Not your typical Chinese but the food was tasty.
Very good and delicious Chinese Sichun Restaurant. The spicy food and crispy deep fried dishes are great.
The noodles look like they are made with sauce packets. The teller from Northeast China has a terrible attitude.
Really good sizuan food i enjoyed it
Best chinese place in uxbridge. The salt and pepper prawns were the best!!!! The spring onion pancake is really good. The service is ok but the good definitely makes up for it
Im going home tomorrow. Im staying overnight near the airport today. I havent put my luggage away yet. Lets have a meal first. I took the bus for half an hour and found old Chengdu. I served braised pork ribs noodles with the first bite. I felt like I found my soul when I ate Chengdu noodles for the first time. The dumplings and spicy pork trotters are both delicious I will consider settling in Chengdu when I return to China haha
Nice not Cantonese make a change
Really nice food. Very friendly atmosphere.
Quite place, good food
Incredibly delicious. It doesnt taste like someone poured sugar into the food. The taste makes me think of home cooking. This is officially my favourite Chinese restaurant just for the taste. The service was really fast and friendly too. When I came in, it was quite quiet. I cant figure out why. Who knew such a gem was hiding in Uxbridge?
Amazing food, very authentic with friendly staff
The food was amazing, service really nice ! Looking forward to come back
Fresh and nicely presented, staff were attentive, polite and not overly intrusive, very good and will definitely go again, we recommend it
Food tastes like proper chinese food that you would find in China! Loved it
Very cool!
Food was good but portion size was too small
Terrible food!
Awful food, terrible experience and service. Didnt even finish the meal, paid £20.
This place is awesome, food is nice, price is standard and they have decent lunch deals.
The hot pot is quite edible, but the portions of the a la carte dishes are incredible... the pasta and the like are terrible to eat... I don t want to complain.
Tasty food - authentic taste. Recommended - a gem at the end of the High Street
The best chinese in town !
Best Chinese food Ive ever had. Completely Authentic. Cater more to the Chinese community. So you know its good.
Great place to be
Not worth the price.
The taste is good and the boss is very nice!
nice food 5star
Love this one! Great food and service
What a fantastic surprise, great food, amazing choice and it s in Uxbridge! ( food in Uxbridge is generally appallingly bad) Best Chinese food I have had in 20 years living in London and the staff were spot on, attentive without fussing. I can t wait to explore the rest of the menu with all of the real Chinese dishes on offer. Thank you!
Bad service and was served raw chicken
Great starters, wouldnt bother with mains
Great dishes and awesome service. The spicy noodle Chongqing is good tasting but has a kick (especially if you manage to get it in your eye)
The best Chinese restaurant around!
Centrally located in Uxbridge, opposite the Uxbridge civic centre. Food is excellent and plenty of choices for both spicy and non spicy foodies. Service staff is quietly attentive. Price is within reason. Lunch time is rather quiet so ambience is acceptable.
Really delicious! Bobo chicken, red oil pig ears and fat rice rolls are super delicious! It feels like the most authentic in London! Its very delicious!
Very authentic Chinese food. Staff was friendly. Went on a Tuesday afternoon and was not busy.
