Jinli Chinese Restaurant, 91 Pield Heath Rd, Uxbridge UB8 3NJ, United Kingdom
I went in here on a quiet Tuesday evening having spent a few days bedside with someone in Hillingdon Hospital. Desperate for a hot meal at last, this looked like one of the most promising options nearby. It was exactly what I'd hoped for. Very prompt and professional service and great food. I ordered dishes that I thought would be quick and said please bring them as they come. They understood perfectly what I was looking for at that time. Delicious meal, in and out in about 35 minutes and back to the hospital. Thanks!
Great food, attentive staff. Had a set menu for 2 and the starters were delicous. Nice portions enough to be well fed for the price,
Staff is very nice and good service. Free parking is available back of the restaurant. I like spicy food and staff recommended Boiled Fish in Hot Chilli Oil and Chengdu Pickle Fish are very delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.
I would like to respond regarding my incident 3 weeks ago with this restaurant as I am still quite in shock and a bit traumatised with how they spoke to me. These staff members LOCKED me inside their car park because they were annoyed that I parked there for 5 minutes(attached picture- car was parked highlighted in red)while I went to the shop next door, this is ILLEGAL. In my previous review they said I was blocking the entry and this is why they locked me in, this is ILLEGAL itself. You can CLEARLY see if I was parked behind this brick wall, this leaves the entrance completely clear. They claim they locked my car in due to my ‘rude behaviour’, (this is ALSO ILLEGAL by the way) however I was so in shock that this happened and I just politely asked if they could unlock the gate multiple times, not being rude once. After realising I was locked inside they proceeded to scream and shout at me for parking there and also called children with Autism ‘spastics’ when explaining that this is my workplace I came from on a lunch break. I am so appalled that these people can operate and call themselves a ‘business’ when they treat potential customers shockingly, maybe that’s why they seem to be empty all the time. Reading other reviews I can see other people have complained about the rudeness of staff, I completely understand why. I am still appalled by this incident and will be taking this further. I’d like to add they have no legal parking restrictions in place so by law they can’t tell the public not to use their car park. I’ve also attached the note they left on my car while I was gone for the five minutes, does this sound ‘polite’ to you? Annoyingly I cannot reply to their response on this review but don’t be fooled, it will be full of lies to cover their failing reputation.
Good quite Chinese restaurant. The food tastes good. I expected more side dishes but the quality of food and surrounding were very pleasant.
A proper adventure! It's fairly priced here and you get truly authentic food. You should definitely give it a go. The staff were very helpful as we needed some help interpreting the menu. So be sure to ask if you need to, to avoid disappointment.
Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in a while! Great attention to detail, great quality, taste and service. We had the duck pancakes, crispy shredded beef, chicken chow mein and Singapore noodles - will be back
We live local to the JinLi so thought we'd give it a try. For mains we ordered sweet fried pork, shredded chilli beef and sizzling chicken in black bean sauce. They were all excellent. The portions were fair and well presented. The staff were friendly and very attentive. We thought the price was just about right and we'll definitely be back. Would recommend.
The food is very good. I come here often. It specializes in satisfying my cravings. I ordered maocai, salt and pepper edamame, and winter melon and pork ribs soup. The ingredients are fresh! The hotel environment and service are very good, which makes people feel happy!
Toilet handle broken
Had a lovely lunch here today with my mum - food was delicious and quick, service was perfect, and the restaurant itself was clean and decorated nicely. Will be coming back!
One of the best authentic Chinese food places outside of London, especially if you like szechuan cuisine. Amazing service every time as well, truly a gem.
Authentic Chinese food, great, the boss is also very welcoming
I ordered an extra large portion of pickled fish, which my family of four couldn t finish. It s super cheap and super delicious. Dietary restrictions: High standard Chinese Sichuan cuisine
Visited many times, excellent food good price and great service
Just spent £47:50 on takeaway from this restaurant. The food was all bland, very tasteless. Both the special fried rice, king prawn rice were bland. The beef curry was horrible, the spicy spare ribs was alll bone. The family did not enjoy it at all . It was al thrown in the BIN. First time here never coming back. Please be aware !!!!! Terrible food!!!
Great place! Very tasty food, large portions, very nice and helpful staff! There was also a promotion for 2 beer for the price of 1 ;) I recommend it with all my heart! Kid-friendliness: It is child-friendly
Ordered chow mein noodles. Never tasted anything as bad. Paid over £12, plus delivery. All went into thr bin.
Was a bit surprised on how bad the food tasted, Was very bland with no flavour It was very expensive so really should of been a lot better
The staff were so rude and disgusting. Not worth going here.
Disgusting staff members here, they do not deserve your time and money. Should any problems arrive they speak to you disgracefully. They should not be allowed to operate with such disgusting behaviour.
Avoid at all costs, rude aggressive staff especially towards women.
The restaurant owners/staff are mentally unstable. I m an Assistant Head at a school for SEN pupils. I was contacted by one of my own staff members on Friday the 19th of July. She informed me she had parked in this restaurant car park to collect a food order from across the road. There were no signs or restrictions in place to suggest she could not park there - not to mentioned, it was 12pm in the afternoon and the car park/restaurant was not busy. She returned to her car to find an angry women, shouting and screaming at her. She then proceeded to lock the gate to the car park and my colleague could not leave. At this point my colleague called me, to explained she could not return to work. Again, we work at a school for Autistic pupils and this was the staff members lunch break. We allocate 30 mins and the staff have to return to class/duty once that times is up. My staff member being locked in impacted pupils learning. This was also the end of term and it was the last day. Because of the restaurant owners/staff members actions she missed pupils leaving and was unable to say goodbye to year 6 pupils who had been at the school for sometime. I attempted to call and reason with with the restaurant, however, I was met with tirade of abuse and derogatory language - when the restaurant realised I was not calling to make an order. I would implore anyone to rethink their judgement when considering booking a table or ordering a takeaway for this establishment . The person who I spoke to on the phone is everything that is wrong with world and the level of aggression I was subject to was deeply concerning. I m sure there will be a quick rebuttal to this review, however, the behaviour and language I experienced was unforgivable. Regardless of their response, let it be known, this restaurant does not deserve honest and hard working peoples money. Parking: DONT PARK HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, YOU MIGHT GET LOCKED IN!
A nice and friendly restaurant in Hillingdon Hospital. Tasty food, good choices and excellent experience.
I made a phone call to find out if they do buffet. Spoke to a lady who told me that they dont do buffet but before I ask her something else she cut my phone. I found her extremely rude. I found staff really unprofessional on the phone. Dont think I would like to visit personally after this treatment.
The food is authentic Chinese and delicious. Service is great. The prawn noodles and duck black bean sauce was tasty. Parking: The parking space is large and can cater as much cars as the restaurant covers
Look out for the high service charge and food expensive £7 for a bowl of chips ? Won t be returning
The Hospital restaurant so we decided to go in here and the food was great and also the staff was very polite.... nice decorative surroundings....
Been ordering from this place for years and the quality seems to be going down whilst the price goes up.. tonight got a delivery and the lids had been left off two of the containers so it looked like the attached photos. Not ace for £14 dish...
Extremely rude staff and mediocre food. They boast a wide selection of Schezwan dishes on the menu but there s nothing Schezwan about it. When asked politely, one of the waitresses or the managress was terribly rude to us and started snacthing our utensils from us. Sadly, we couldn t get her name but she was middle-aged and least bothered. She was misbehaving with us at an extent where we were forced to leave without finishing our dinner. All in all, a total waste of money and time. Please feel free to visit if you want to pay to get humiliated.
Having a parking space is really good
Traditional northen China cuisine. Personally, I thought it was a bit pricey, but I thoroughly enjoyed my dishes
Portion reduced and price increased; hence not 5 stars. Taste unchanged and unbeatable.
Food
Found this restaurant in an old pub in Uxbridge near the Uni. After I managed to communicate to the server that I was looking for numbing heat not just chilli, she asked the kitchen to add some Sichuan peppercorns to the dry pot chicken. It was just what I was looking for over rice; all at once fiery, tingly and savoury. Not cheap (£27.50 with service, tea & rice) but worth it for the size and depth of flavour. From the look of the menu, this place is really authentic, although they have the regular dishes too. Good find, if a little cold inside dining room today.
The lady s on front are so rude here! I just walked out! You wonder why people are not coming anymore! I only come back as I was asked to as the food and service was really bad. I m not ganna let myself experience again! Good luck you won t last long!!
First time and already love this place! Very good food and friendly staff. I recommend this restaurant!
I was going to go to this restaurant to get a take away tonight and I am in shock at the prices .... its on par with Park Chinois in Mayfair ! How they are keeping the restaurant open is beyond me ..... £7.70 for a portion of chilli chips, I say what !!!! Good luck as you will need it !
Ordered via Deliveroo. Received mouldy wraps for the duck! Yes covered in mould!!! How on earth can you miss that! The duck itself smelt off. Seriously avoid this place! How they they think they can get away with this is outrageous. Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!
Food was okay
Great restaurant very authentic with great customer service. They use good quality ingredients definitely the best in the area.
Amazing food
Never again Food arrived cold Error made with order Restaurant unsympathetic, told our fault , reorder never again mediocre expensive experience!
Food was on the mark. Staff . Was not offered chopsticks, apart from taking order no follow-up (everything ok), more interested in tables of Asian dinners. Also quick in removing dishes and bringing out the card machine to pay
Great meal
I ordered a fairly big order for collection, whilst using the menu on the Jinli website for reference. The lady on the phone confirmed the price but when I had another look, I was sure I misheard, there was almost a £40 discrepancy from what I worked out on the menu! When we arrived to collect, I was told, the online menu was their old one and I actually had not misheard the price. Not wanting to cause a scene, I paid the amount but I am frustrated by this. It s not the customer s fault that no one has updated the online menu, yet we ended up incurring an additional £40 cost. When this was mentioned, there was zero effort to accommodate, not even an extra portion of prawn crackers offered! Most of the food was delicious, portion sizes were generous. Fried rices were not fried, but boiled, disappointing for the price. Overall, the dinner was nice, but for the price and miscommunication, we won t be back.
Authentic chinese food, place was quiet, may be because we went there during the lunch time. And it was a weekday.. Overall good food, good service and ambience was great too.
My friends been to here before and recommended by my friends, the foods are very nice, and the service very good.
Really traditional spicy food, nice staff and good food. Big car park at the rear so parking is not an issue at all.
London prices for unexceptional food.
Best Chinese food in the area. A bit pricy, but worth it.
Such a shame, has gone down hill swiftly. Used to be excellent authentic sichuan Chinese food , now is cheap and nasty western style mass produced food. Starters all frozen and deep-fried. Gong bao chicken (a sichuan staple) turned out to be cheap and nasty sweet sour deep fried chicken. The water boiled beef was chewy and lacking any depth of flavour. Rushed and lacklustre. Food arrived in about 5minutes. Disappointing to say the least. Wont be returning.
After an assertive exchange about the discrepancy between their published menu on their own website and the actual +40% till prices, having to force the matter to an accommodation when they should be apologising and discounting profusely, we took away an admittedly very satisfying, good quality meal. Recommending the meltingly soft pork in preserved veg and fragrant ginger chicken.
Ordered a delivery from Jinli Uxbridge for my partner and I ordered crispy duck however food came minus the crucial ingredient that makes the dish contacted Uber so apology just said ingredient unimportant so thank you for understanding.. frankly they had NO understanding not even an apology would be great to get at least an apology but critical point of service recovery, long gone. Shame
It is a great location with privite parking at the back of the restuarant, very spacious environment and good atmoshere. Good service by cantonese waiters. Food quality is not enough authentic taste, especially the sour veg. fish soup. Parking: There are lots of private parking at lunch time in weekday.
Ordered salt and pepper prawns and spring rolls for starters. Both very bland. Frozen spring rolls for the supermarket are much better. Mains... oh dear. Got the special fried rice. Nothing special to see here. No taste or spice (I asked for extra spice) was so bland. My wife got the Chow Mein, again... no taste and the noodles were tiny. I think the chef forgot to season anything for us!
Absolutely delicious food. A little pricey but worth paying that extra bit. Staff friendly and quick service.
Can find London Chinatown quality Chinese food in Hillingdon. Worth a visit. Came to visit from Norfolk while dropping someone off at the airport and still delicious.
i did some take outs from uber eats. ordered singapore fried rice & salt, pepper chicken quantity : 5/5 they gave u a big portion of food like for 2 pax taste : 3,5/5 not really authentic Chinese food. there s a hint of curry in every single dish also they give chips packaging : 5/5 they delivered it in a plastic container & reusable bag.
Swift customer service and service the food hits the spot everytime
Truthfully I was always skeptical as JinLi was previously one of my favourite pubs in the area which was previously known as The Orange Peel however as an authentic Chinese Restaurant it has definitely made its mark & the interior whilst still somewhat keeping the pub theme has got the feeling of Chinese Restaurant. Generally speaking I order via more on apps & get my food delivered at home but definitely one of my favourite local Chinese Cuisine Restaurants/Takeaways. Parking: Large car park which is free of use. Wheelchair accessibility: Uphill entrance which provides a wheelchair accessible entrance for all users.
Absolutely delicious food and brilliant service. Highly, highly recommended. Food
I always have a great experience when visiting Jin Li. This is a rare Chinese restaurant that offers both mainstream dishes as well as traditional dishes which are worth a try (I like the lamb in cumin seed). The restaurant has ample parking and the staff are very friendly. I hope to visit soon otherwise, otherwise will be ordering for delivery anyway. Thanks for the great food and experience.
Dietary restrictions: the food was super tasteless. I spent £85 on the order for 3 people and after first few bites when we just not could we ended up ordering McDonald s The place has a 2 star rating from Hillingdon council for a reason, I should ve checked the rating before ordering. Pathetic food completely tasteless, over salted and no chicken in chicken sweetcorn soup. Never ever ordering food from them anymore.
Bit pricey
It was almost closing when we arrived at the store, but the boss still let us eat in the store. It was very nice. We ordered snow peas, tomato and beef brisket rice noodles (not spicy), short crispy pork and egg fried rice. The stewed snow pea trotters are very soft and very delicious with the sauce, and there is no pig smell (the two pork dishes we ordered did not have the pig smell, which is very powerful), and the soup of snow peas and pig trotters is also delicious. It tastes delicious, light and not greasy, and is perfect for warming the stomach in winter. The tomato and beef brisket rice noodles are sour and sweet. The casserole is very good at keeping heat. It is hot until the last bite. The soup is also delicious. The ingredients include oyster mushrooms, soaked dried fungus, and soaked shiitake mushrooms. It is quite surprising that you can eat them in the UK. , and the taste is relatively light and not greasy, we all like it. The short crispy pork is very crispy, and the egg fried rice is also very fragrant, but not too salty. A restaurant with a high CP value. Highly recommended. The soup is great. It is suitable for those who have a lighter taste. I want to try the duck blood intestine next time.
This Chinese restaurant is a real secret gem in Hillingdon. The food was all freshly made to order for example the salt and chilli king prawns, sizzling beef with ginger and spring onions. The service is good, genuine honest decent and caring. It is a very family friendly environment and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. If you go with children make sure you show them the goldfish tank!
Empty on a Monday evening. The hot and sour soup was excellent, the ho fun a bit greasy. The others enjoyed their food. Its an extensive, but confusing menu including some more unusual choices such as chicken feet. The staff were pleasant, if a little reserved. The only beer was Bud. The atmosphere and food quality did not justify the bill of £40 a head.
Pleasant environment
just disappointed the spring rolls were overdone was charged £13 for 2 portions and they were something out of Iceland the satay was just over fried and didnt look appetizing so left it wouldnt go again
Delicious food
Delicious
Terrific service and lovely, authentic chinese menu. Presentation and cleanliness was excellent. Great quality - but priced high for sides. Worth a visit.
Not your standard MSG laden Anglicised food. Amazing array of fish meat and veggie dishes. Be aware that they offer to pack up what you cant eat. This is handy as portions are huge. Loved it.
ALL the meat was so tough it was difficult to cut and had a horrid mouthfeel and was difficult to swallow, it felt over cooked . Food was flavourless. The rice was stodgy and over cooked it was sticking together. All the food arrived cold. The food was that poor we couldn t eat it. £50 wasted and won t use this restaurant again.
the woman was very rude. I just wanted to try a wine and his response was no .. very arrogant. Very expensive.
Lovely visit this evening. Really struck by how clean it is and how lovely the staff are. Broad range of choices on the menu - particularly enjoyed the udon noodles and duck.
Nice food.
Ordered Kung po long prawn with peanuts which was very tasty. Portion large enough to share between two with starters. Good service and nice seating area inside.
Come here again, the taste is very good, you will not be disappointed at all, the taste is as good as ever! We had dinner here again today, August 7th, and we were not disappointed as usual It s just that the portion of grilled fish and side dishes was a little less
Very rude stuff
I ordered from them and I was hoping theyd probably be the best oriental take-away in the area but I was quite disappointed. Their kung po chicken was way too bland for me. Not just the spice level but had way too little salt.
Parking: Round back
The food is amazing here ! The staff is ready to help you with anything you need!
Very nice surroundings, excellent, attentive and very fast service. Will certainly be going back.
Waitress was rude. Asked if there was dine-in last night (since no one else was eating at the tables) and no one made a move to seat me, so placed order (one dish and a beer), paid at the till and took a seat. Waitress comes in a huff 15 minutes later asking if it was take away or dine in. Irritated when I say dine in, says prices are different. She asks for cash to fill the difference, I offer to pay with card since that s all I d brought, she proceeds to actually scold me for giving the wrong impression and then says I can eat at the price I paid today but that it would be different the next time. Don t think I ll be coming again though.
Authentic dishes, good service
Excellent service and delicious meal. My family loves the food here.
Great food and great service
Have eaten here before the first and second time the food was excellent then they changed the chef and the food is completely different and continues to get worse ordered three dishes all overloaded with sezhuan peppercorns and msg mouth was completely numb owner kept coming over asking if everything was ok I think he knew it wasn t used to be busy and lots of takeaway orders on the bar not no more got our food boxed to take with us and drove down the road and threw it away won t go back which is a shame coz it used to be good also puts on a service charge which I don t agree with
The waitress does not know how to communicate and show attention to the customer. When another customer enters, he starts accepting the order from the newly entered customer before he finishes talking to you.
I decided to get a take away whilst being in the local hospital (next door) I also live within a 5 minute drive on a new development (st andrews park) When checking the website and totalling up my price before I arrived I was then told when I arrived that prices have gone up. What was £32 bill had changed to £59. For example crispy seaweed has gone £4 to £9.80, sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong has gone from £8 to £15 and Chips has gone from £2 to £7, with the whole menu following in the same way. I mentioned that the prices on the website menu say differently and they said that it was an old menu and this is the price now. Disgusting mark up in price and will never return, I will also be sure to share this with all local residents. A complete joke when you compare prices with other local takeaway/restaurants.
Lovely and clean, with a great sense of service and amazing food. A wide range of traditional dishes too!!
Delicious foods ,
The best Chinese food we had after a very long time. Every dish was tasty. The waiter was courteous and atmosphere is lovely. Definitely recommend.
They put dead animal flesh in my vegan meal very disappointed wont being going back
Grilled fish and couples lung slices are both classic!
Worst restaurant ever. Ordered spare ribs as takeaway only to find out that the box is half empty. Call restaurant to make them aware. They told me they only sell it at this price. They told me to drive back to them top up with 2 additional ribs. A rip off considering what other Chinese restaurant are offering in this area.
It was our first order with both JinLi Restaurant and Deliveroo. The two dishes we ordered were both vegetarian. Both of the dishes were brilliant, will love to try them in their Restaurant when Restaurant opens for public. We are sure all the other dishes on the menu are outstanding as well. It is sometime hit and miss when looking out for vegetarian stuff but JinLi has aced it.
Disgusting tasting food. Seems like meat is off. Ordered four items..all turned out bad. Worst chinesse ever i ordered. Avoid. Never again
Ordered this evening (Saturday) directly to the restaurant/takeaway placing our order by phone & it arrived promptly within around 30mins. Thoroughly enjoyed all food. We got 2x Mixed Salt & Pepper starters (we were advised by staff that this option was for 2 people but due to experience with other Chinese delivery locally the sizes are always so small & not enough to feed 2 people). The portion sizes were big & 1 mixed starter would have been enough from JinLi. We also ordered BBQ spare ribs, Duck in plum sauce, Hot Spicy Beef Brisket noodle soup & Veg spring rolls. We enjoyed all the food was lovely & beats any local chinese in Uxbridge by far.
Great food with fantastic service I will be back soon
Possibly the worst fried rice I have ever had in 40+ years. My wife is Chinese, so I have had thousands on fried rice over time, but this was disgusting. Greasy, overtly garlicky, no hint of soy, and with tiny chips of beef so insubstantial you could honestly not tell what they were if you had your eyes closed. You go to a takeaway for things you cant do at home. I could gave done a better job with microwave rice. An insult to Chinese cooking.
Good food serbice
Excellent restaurant, quick and friendly service, the portions are very generous the food is well cooked. All the favourites are on the menu, good value.
Very friendly. Decent food. Well placed for the hospital if you need to hang out for a while. Obviously you must buy something; its only fair.
The food was good i particularly loved the prawn chilli starter. Service was very good too staff were nice and patient with the demands of the young ones.
Do not order salt and chilli pepper spare ribs. Instead of using slightly battered ribs (as described in the menu), it turn out to be barbequed pork ribs. There isnt any taste of five spices. The ribs are dry and hard, whole dish is tasteless. Singaporean vermicelli, on the other hand, worth to spend the money on. Definitely something I will order again.
The best Chinese restaurant in west London
Food is delicious, service is friendly, desserts are amazing.
Very good food, very good staff
The food is a double edged sword enter at your own risk. My wife went in at 80kg came back at 70Kg highly recommend for the Weight loss not for the food.
Beautiful food had that authentic taste that seems to lack in a lot of chinese food these days
Great food, excellent service
Good service, food, great decor and okay prices
Weve never eaten in, but its our Chinese takeaway of choice. Not the cheapest, but delicious, with some hidden gems in its (at times scarily authentic) menu. Definitely Szechuan, so order with caution if you dont like it spicy. I wish theyd bring back the shredded aubergine with garlic and chili . Apart from that, pretty much perfect. Try the salt & pepper squid.
Good
Closest taste of Sichuan cuisine that Ive had since my last trip to Chengdu
One of the worse Chineese food I have ever had and yet they charge like a luxury resturant!
The worst chinese Ive had in years. The food wasnt fresh at all and was much worse than chinese take away. Avoid at all cost!!
Excellent meal thank you
Worst restaurant ever. Avoid, I saw a nice running
Excellent
First visit was a pleasurable experience. Food was very good and the chickens feet were perfection. No Har Gow on the Menu which was disappointing but the Dim Sum we did have was very tasty. I am looking forward to our next visit.
Food is inconsistent and service more ofen poor than good.
Amazing
The food was great. I recommend the signature braised pork noodles which is listed as a soup but does not have a lot of broth. Its so flavorful, smooth and rich!
Excellent experience, tidy place, great character building and yummy food.
Have only been for a takeaway so far but I will definitely be back. Nice decor, very clean and the staff were friendly and polite even though my order was small as just for me. You get 20% discount for a takeaway too which I hadnt realised and makes it very reasonable. I went for the beef ho fun as it is always hard to find on the menu and my order was freshly made straight away, could hear the chef in the kitchen cooking it, couldnt wait to get home to try and it tasted fantastic. Looking forward to my next meal from there.
Order never arrived! Zero communication rom restaurant, telephone went to voicemail. Drove there and apparently they forgot about the order! Do not recommend!
Thanks for the reply Jack, its a shame really because when the food good it is really good, I just find it not consistent, I am local and have dined there many times hence my comment.
No atmosphere, no style, more of a diner
We ordered a grilled fish at JinLi and picked up at 9pm after playing golf. The girl worked there was friendly. We told her that my friend lives nearby and comes here for dining often. At that night, we only had half of grilled fish, glass of wine and some fruit. We finished dinner at around 11:00pm. At 3am, I had sharp pain and had diarhee till 6pm and my friend had the same symptoms at around the same time. I called the restaurant and told the same girl that served us, that I strongly believe we had food poisoning after had their grilled fish. She said she would speak to the kitchen and her boss, Mr Ma about our complaint and would call me back soon. I am very disappointed that they dont seem to bother to call back as promised and think this is a joke to them. I was very reluctant to put this review online as I waited for nearly two days. I dont believe we are the only one had food poisoning , but I hope we are the last one. Food hygiene is always the top priority for a catering business. Dont ever forgot.
Really good Sichuan restaurant with a number of authentic dishes. They have a special dry fried hot pot where select from a number of ingredients and the chef with prepare them expertly in a Sichuan style with fragrant herbs, fermented bean paste and dried chilli. The twice cooked pork is delicious and crispy. The dumplings are definitely made in house, fresh, with a good bite.
This place had decent food although theyre menu stated that the seafood starters was only fish but it ended up having pork floss which I dont eat and wasnt happy about. The service was average but they charged service charge and when I asked for it to be removed, the waitress made a big deal about it. Id say this place is OK considering the fact that we had £20 off for eat out to help out scheme. However if it wasnt for that then it wouldnt be worth it
Pleasant staff grat food quick efficient service
When the food arrives it s great. Incredibly expensive for a Chinese and considering this they never deliver on time. Often 2hrs late and today after a 2hr wait they simply cancelled our order. Rubbish service, go elsewhere
Really didnt enjoy the food there was so many bad things about the meal I dont know were to start!!
Good food and service, very pleasant evening. Would definitely recommend.
Below average fish ordered for £36 not worth it too salty when complained told us that s the recipe
Consistently take an ETERNITY to get any food from this place on Deliveroo. If you enjoy eating on the same day you order then avoid this place at all costs.
Nice prawn toast!
Food looks terrible but the taste is there. Friendly staff .great job
Food looks horrible, no sides, just meat and I payed £23! Very disappointed! I will never order again. Overpriced, the serving is not great. Not recommended. Next I will go for local kebab much more and less money.
Restaurant was nice and clean Food was nice and tasted decent however its not anything special. Nothing to make us say wow. Service was OK coulda been a little better but it was also nothing to complain about. We were given a menu that was different to the one we viewed online but after asking, we were able to look at the one we had seen on their website. We had a cake with us and in all the birthdays anyone I know who has celebrated in a restaurant was able to put the cake away for later but here they just told us to keep it by our side. Not a big issue, just found it strange. Would I go back? Probably not. Would I tell anyone not to go? No, but dont expect anything amazing.
Food was very yummy and good Nice and clean place
Very rude staff. Would not recommend this place nice to be nice.
Great food
I wont say the food is bad. It isnt, its genuinley good. However we have now ordered twice and both times the delivery has taken over 2 hours. When calling the restaurant to ask what is happening the customer service is appauling.
First time coming here and been meaning to try this place out, as Ive seen the chain in London Chinatown too and heard good reviews. Staff were friendly, polite and attentive and overall enjoyed the food. The main dish you see in the photo (in the tray) was JinLi grilled fish in chilli oil. Probably a dish for about 3-4 to share however because the food was so nice we finished all but a few vegetables (which is buried under the fish, such as tofu, potato, lotus root and others). The food gave us a natural fullness, unlike other common restaurants where they put various additives to make you feel full.
Been past the restaurant many times, today decided to have a Chinese inside the restaurant. Great free parking on our visit, clean inside with good portion sizes on the dishes and reasonably priced, as the set menu is lunch time only. Service was good no issues, food tasted fresh didn t make us feel like we was having that dirty Chinese takeaway which is usually heavy to consume, salty and hard to finish. In this case we nearly finished all the dishes and had a little left for take away. Thumbs up from me!
Very rude waitress, shouting to customers, no patience no service at all. Never come back
Very good Chinese food, very close to Heathrow. It s just that the lion s head is a bit hard, I hope it can be improved in the future.
This was my first time going there and it was absolutely amazing! The service was very good and the food and ambience was exquisite. Would highly recommend going there, also the staff were very friendly and inviting. Finally it is very good and it has a large parking area.
Not only the most stupid person answering the phone, the customer service is terrible.
Good service, good food and fairly priced
Great place to eat at after a long day at work. Very friendly staff.
Taste of hometown
Wouldnt go again it was supposed to be a lunch menu and the staff werent helpful
Great food as always :)
Very good authentic chinese food for a reasonable price. I recommend their fried rice, simple but delicious! However I find it a bit odd to be located on a road where it is hard to park just in front (you have to park behind). And there is no sign showing you the entrance.
Very good place to eat came here for the first time with my family ,waiter Mario was very nice and friendly.
Just had a family trip from Heathrow, it was a bit early to check in, so decided to have a meal, google the map and find this jinli restaurant, I had been to China town branch several times, this is first time find one near Heathrow, want to give it try, i was glad to this decision, food is good, staff is friendly, parking place is big, I was even thinking to have it go when I come back the trip. I highly recommended
The food is always good here! One of my favourite Chineses! You dont need to and anything because the flavour is spot on! I am ordering later.
Decent restaurant. Food is ok but a bit pricy
Disaster in terms of ordering food. 90 minutes to prepare a simple order. At least for ordering AVOID
Takes way too long and arrived cold.
Popped in for the first time, had excellent chicken black bean sauce, good service, will now take all the family there
Avoid delivery from this place at all costs. Over 90 mins for delivery. When I contacted the restaurant the order was not even ready.Unacceptable.
Not authentic at all...
Its my first time went there with my family. As a local Chinese restaurant, we thought we should go and have a try. The staffs are friendly, the food are tasty, but its too salty. I think its better if you will asked them to make the food not that salty.
Absolutely loved the food and the service offered. A bit more on the pricier side but the food makes up for it.
