I had placed an order for collection, it was the worst experience I had since the past 5 years of ordering. The portion size was unacceptable, the food was dry and the rice was undercooked. The prices have gone up and it is not worth the price for a small container of food.

Absolutely disgusting how poor the service was today. The food was either foul tasting asbif it wasnt fresh or was tasteless. Ribs ordered but we were sent a portion of fat on bones. When I called the restaurant the staff who answered said there was nothing she could do. What great service huh. Couldnt ask for better. Will not be ordering from them ever again.

Overall the main food was good but as I was eating the prawn crackers I noticed and tasted something unpleasant there was white hair in the food and as I was chewing I spat something out and it was a blue/brownish mould. I m very disappointed and disgusted becaue I just ate that and I feel horrible.

Ordered through deliveroo for a takeaway. Called straight after placing the order to ask them to remove the egg from a specific dish as my daughter has allergies and the option wasn t available when confirming the order. Gentleman who answered was SO RUDE. Disgusting place to order from no manners at all. Tried to tell me the delivery driver was already there less than 5 mins of placing the order. Totally shocked at the lack of respect that people have. I will make sure I get my money back even if I have to go there and demand for it. Extremely disgusted. YUCK!!!!!!!!!

It used to be nice back in days. Now its horrible. Bought chicken satay with egg fried rice. The chicken was bone dry and hard. It seems like it was reheated from freezer. Spoiled it forever.

I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and unfortunately had a highly disappointing experience. I have been sick twice since eating earlier this evening and have returned back to the shop for my full refund to be asked to show the manager the food.. I had no words for him!!! Avoid at all costs keep your money and go elsewhere Dynasty down the road top of Long Lane happily took my Yumchi money off me and fed me a perfectly delicious dinner!!

Best Chinese food ever, I highly recommend this place

Yumchi has been our go to for Chinese for years. It s halal! The best dish in my opinion is crispy chicken in salt and chilli with chow mein! I m very happy I live close to Yumchi! :)

I ordered the Mega box of BBQ Lamb Ribs in spicy sauce and special fried rice. The ribs were very nice! Very juicy and no bones! The rice is what you expect. Very tasty. No issues.

Really tasty food, my 1st time there and is definitely the best Chinese restaurant that I have ever been too. Will definitely recommend this place and would return again. Million times better than Lots of Rice in Hayes End where I got sick after eating their food.

This is the second time we have ordered from there, after complaining the first time!! To much rice, very dry, no bean sprouts our second order after a few months same again way to dry, they cheat you on the amount of beef they put in and again no bean sprouts. Won t order again from there. A BiG RIP OFF with portions. What they advertised on menu!!!! looks nothing like that.

Ive been ordering from this place for about 20years when it was Chasing Dragon and now Yumchi as the food and value was always so good, but since its last change in management the food and service has rapidly gone downhill! Wrong orders delivered, orders missing items, food orders incomplete (ie duck in plum sauce MISSING the sauce!), portion sizes decreasing, lack of acknowledgement or the need to put right etc. Im done giving chances of redemption. I no longer recommend this place.

Absolutely appalling customer services. Ordered from here and they forgot part of our order and took over an hour and a half to redeliver it. What was originally delivered was freezing cold and when the second part finally was delivered it was freezing also. Such a shambles and no compensation, not even a bag of prawn crackers. We order from here regularly and the food is always very hit and miss. Tonight was the absolute worst, so much so that I felt compelled to write this review. The sauces taste good but the quality of ingredients is awful. Dry, gristly meat among the biggest complaints. We also ordered chips and it was like they had been left over from the day before and sent out. Horrendous. Dont bother calling them up to complain either. They dont care. They lost a very loyal customer tonight. Worst thing is, they wont even care.

I used be excited when I used to get some takeaway from here instead of cooking. In recent weeks the food tastes completely different and it isn t a good thing. The staff are rude they always seem to be on their personal phones messaging and giggling but they ll tell you to wait a minute. The prices has increased considerably for food that is no longer edible and bland. It s become an Afgan delicacy instead of authentic Chinese food.

It is deeply disappointing and saddening to read all these poor reviews! However, in my old days in Stockley Park, we used to order food here every single Friday. I used to enjoy my Yumchi Box of Singaporean noodles with all loads of toppings, including, beef, tofu, duck, and prawns... among other add ons. Not to be eaten everyday, but was most delicious dirty lunch! It was quite simply yummy, yummy, yumchi! Hopefully, they will go back to old recipe and standards!

I went to grab a quick dinner with my friends, I order noodles was very dry, burned and not well cooked, we ordered soy souse and they give us 1 drop not even a spoon of liquid and big box it wasnt enough to improve the taste! We wont go back till they doesnt improve the quality of the products or the way they prepare it. Not very clean place if I have to be honest need deep cleaning!

Wow! I had the chicken wings, prawn toast, spring rolls, aromatic duck, sweet and sour chicken, rice, chow mein and black bean beef. Every single thing was delicious and Id come again. Great value for money and generous portions. Server was friendly too. Thank you.

Order arrived with missing items - gentleman I spoke to couldn t really care less & told me I d have to wait 45-60 mins for it to arrive again. Having spent in excess of £50 on food, I expect a marginal difference in the customer service I was offered. When I moaned about having to wait another hour for the missing items, I was offered free (extra) prawn crackers and a drink. I don t know why I expected more than a can, but that s all we got. Disappointing to say the least considering they ve been delivering to this address for years. 3 stars purely because I can t fault the food. If it was down the customer service alone it would be 0 stars.

Usually love ordering from this place but Ive recently ordered my regular plum sauce chowmein with chicken. The order got delivered and the plum sauce was NOT plum sauce it was a spicy sauce, we got a re-order and the food came back really quick which was great but the plum sauce YET AGAIN was not the plum sauce! Rude, ignorant OWNER hung up on me twice after saying they wont deliver to my area (within 4 miles of them as per their limit) but said theyd deliver to an area over 5 miles away as that was their policy. How does that make sense? This area is predominantly ethnic and the other white, might i add. Perhaps that is why. Absolute hole in the wall. AVOID. The food is great but they NEVER add in the spring rolls Ive ordered ! Its always on my receipt, yet never delivered. I have called up previously and when they delivered it, they took another 30 minutes just for that, which made the rest of the food cold and was not even the quantity of 8 delivered to me which I paid for and clearly says 8 on the receipt. The guy who delivered it wasnt even willing to wait until I checked the order at the doorstep and said to me just call us. Theres other Chinese places nearby so Ill put my order with them in future. Squid was absolutely horrible. Chef please check stock, prep and quality! Delivery time was great and other aspects of meal was just ok. Nothing really stood out but the fried squid killed a mediocre meal.

Food can be hit or miss, it seems to depend on how busy they are and maybe which chef or perhaps their mood, portions are ok but meal boxes can vary on sauce quantity from sparse to swimming. Hours have been a little irregular for a while but they do offer delivery to save traipsing out.

Just visited the shop to order a takeaway wearing my face covering. The guy behind the counter and the delivery man were not wearing masks. The cook had a mask but not covering his face. No-one put a mask on when I entered so I had to leave. I wont be gong back if this is their standard of Covid hygiene.

Absolutely horrible food, my Dog wouldnt eat that food, waste of money, if you order curry sauce it will actually be sweat and sour sauce and horrible, the place has gone down since new owners took over. So annoyed with these guys. Ordered on a Friday evening and was told it would be 30 mins delay as its busy evening. Fine. It never came and as it will was after shops closing hours I couldnt chase it up and my pregnant wife wasnt too pleased.

Yumchi was sold out in Dec 18 to new owners who do not specialise in Chinese food. This was a popular takeaway place but sadly their food is nothing like how it was. The new owners really need to rethink their menu ingredients otherwise they will be loosing business. Really sad as this was the best Chinese in Hillingdon before.

Absolutely outstanding! Best chinese in Uxbridge. Good prices and amazing food! First time trying since new management but will definitely be going back for sure!! + been back weekly since I made this statement and it only keeps getting better! Very fast service and extra prawn crackers considering there was a lot of us! (My friends love Yumchi too!) definitely order from here as a treat on a Friday or weekend! Screwed up order TWICE!!! THEN SAID IT WAS OUR FAULT!!!

Gave incorrect order. Offered replacement. Replacement incorrect again. When called to find out what was going on, got hung up on 3 times and refused accept any fault.

Yumchi must stand for yummy Chinese and it lives up to that! Good portions Great flavours Can leave you a bit salted but that depends on what you order... I started eating in my car before I even got home it was so yumchi

Great Chinese food

We ordered the spicy chilli beef and there was no beef it was just fried batter dont order it. And it was so expensive aswell then when we tried to complain the staff were rude and completely dismissed us.i would give zero stars if i could.

Rubbish place with rude staff who have no idea what Chinese food is as they are not Chinese. Absolute rip off. Never again

I would of given 5 stars but their ribs let them down, they are absolutely disgusting and no meat on them at all just fat, bone and what looks like skin.

Go to Chinese! Just wish some of the portions were a little bigger but one of the best around in ends.

Sandwiched between a pizza/ chicken shop and a convenience store, it is a cheap and cheerful meal box. Choose your protein, the carb of rice or noodles, then the sauce. It s really that simple. The place is a bit of a dump and the floor desperately needs a clean but overlooking that, the food is tasty.

Absolutely disgusted with how rude there staff are food never arrived in the end I got a roosters

First time I ordered here it was phenomenal over 8 years ago I use to order 2 takeaways a week minimum. Since then its deteriorated... Portions have gotten so small prices have raised and the staff obvious only get hired if the have hearing problems because its been a while since theyve managed to get my order right. Its a shame. Was so looking forward to pineapple with my kung po but I got green peppers... Even when I order off of just eat they get it wrong still. Its a good job I have no allergies because the amount of wrong ingredient mix ups Ive had is crazy. Its like ordering a surprise box of rice

I have learn today that when your order is given to some one else , This company wait for the other person to return it so they can redelivered it to you. How shocking this practice is . How hygienic this is.

Rude staff and terrible service. After waiting for two hours my order was cancelled because driver couldnt find my flat.

They tried to take my card payment over the phone and said my food will take 1 hour to deliever, lady on the phone also got upset when i said the driver normally has a card machine so i can also get a receipt and not feel like Im paying over the phone with no guarantee, she got angry and said call another place lol I wouldnt trust this place they seem very fishy indeed. Never give your card details over the phone because you have no proof if they were to over charge you or flat out steal your money.

I took the yum box which was tasty. Lady behind the counter was friendly. Food was very quick as well. I do question hygiene in this place but I cant say its bad because i havent noticed anything yet.

Good and clean food, Good taste of Chinese food.

Dirty floors, bugs on floor near window, my son always has same due to ocd, was sick as hell last visit, used this place since they opened years ago, regular customer, not anymore.

Highly unsanitary. Found what seemed to be a piece of skin in my egg fried rice. Dead skin as if someone had picked out a healing wound. Don t order from this place.

I am unhappy been a customer for years and today had the crispy chicken! There is no chicken inside 3 strips and only hard crispy strips! I am very Disappointed not the same taste.
