I recently ordered food from Javitri for a special occasion, and I must say, it was an excellent experience! The dishes were absolutely delicious—especially the Chicken Tikka, Malai Tikka, Gobi Manchurian, and Soya Chaap. Each item was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and a hit with everyone at the event. What stood out was the meticulous packing and labeling of the food. It was not only convenient but also ensured everything remained fresh and organized. A big thank you to the team at Javitri for such a delightful preparation. You made our occasion memorable, and I look forward to ordering from you again!
£60 on an Indian takeaway and wow has to be by far the worst I’ve had !!!! Onions in butter chicken???!!! My lamb smelt of fish and tasted like fish? TF is going on here????? Absolutely horrible!!! Don’t even get me started on the lamb chops or Fat chops shall I say?
Food quality & portions very good. Prepared & served in good time. Staff could have been more attentive, having said that we were a group of 20 old footballers!
Poor customer service. No idea what they are doing. Ordered 55 pounds of food refused to give and throw away as 20 pounds was Scottish notes. A legal tender in the UK. Complete illiterates rather throw away order than accept. Used to order regularly. Never again. Have no idea of customer service or how to run a business.
The best Indian restaurant in the area! The food is delicious, service wasn't slow, portions are huge and it was really reasonably priced. Really friendly and attentive staff too. Perhaps the bad reviews are just on takeaway, but the dine in experienced was exceptional. Absolutely recommend it,
High quality Indian cuisine. Their curries with fresh chilies are highly recommended. Ask the waiter for recommendations according to your spicy taste. Poppadoms with the different chutneys are a must!
Best Indian I have ever had ! Really enjoyed the dinner, I was happy they have accommodate to my tastes as I can’t handle very hot spicy 🌶️ dishes. Lamb was cooked perfectly, looking forward to come again !
Ordered for collection. Ordered lamb korma and diet cola and garlic naan bread. Food tasted great but I didn't realise that the lamb korma didn't come with rice. My own fault. Lamb was fab, sauce was good. Was all very warm and packaged well. See images. My only criticism was the garlic naan bread. It was pretty burnt and there was no garlic on it as. I saw from other people's reviews. Price was great i paid £13 for my whole order so loved the price. I wouldn't order for collection again, for a better experience I would visit inside the restaurant which appeared to have a great vibe, clean, tidy and friendly staff, and beautiful interior design. I Would order again but in restaurant rather than collection or delivery. As. I walked there due to the short distance I can't comment on parking. I didn't see much but again not something I was looking for. Hope my review is helpful.
Perfect takeaway from Javitri tonight, and added bonus of a free Aloo Bombay. Always a great meal guaranteed!
Farid is a great employee
Very nice food and excellent service. Decor is wonderful.
Hi. Im not posting so that everyone can see as I normally only do positive feedbacks, but I had a vinderloo delivery yesterday, all of the sundries were spot on,samosas etc, but the vinderloo was mild to say the least, had no flavour and I had to use 6, repeat 6, kitchen towels to mop up the excessive moisture. Not good, this was the first time using this restaurant and I only hope that it was a one off otherwise Ill not be using you again.
Best Indian food we had & weve been to a lot of Indians owners and staff really friendly never had a bad time its a must try
First class resturant experience. Great food. Clean and pleasant resturant, staff are first class, very good service. Toilets clean. A1
Ordered takeout tonight. Was pretty good but my £8.50 chicken curry had 7 pieces of chicken in a vat of sauce. The nan also seemed burnt. Not great guys, have been ordering from you for x2 years and expected more
Ordered once me and the Mrs finally got the kids to bed. Havnt had a curry since... I cant remember when, so we spent £50 and I collected. I got home and the rice was missing. So I went back to collect the missing rice and got a refund for the rice. By the time I got home our food was cold. I ordered a Mixed biryani, the mrs ordered a tikka masala. There was 1 piece of chicken in the biryani I dont think there was any other meat just a plate of flavoured rice. The masala and the vegetable curry were watery there was no thickness to the sauces. The nanns just tasted plain. I had to pay for the onion salads and small pots of dips chutney etc. I have no idea what they were but they were not the usual dips you would get with popadoms just looked like pots of watery liquid. There was no substance or flavour that you would usually expect with a curry. I would usually throw anything down my throat but I genuinely feel like this was the worst curry Ive had and I was so disappointed I just threw my £45 in the bin and emptied the bin bag afterwards. If it wasnt so late in the evening I would have returned it . Couldnt be bothered in the end. So yea I wont be going there again and I cant recommend them either . Its a shame, we were really looking forward to that :/ .
Amazing. Portions huge, enough to take home leftovers for lunch the following day. Highly recommend the Lamb Dhansak.
Always exceptional food and service. Can never fault a single thing. Been coming here for years when living in the area but moved away. However, we always return to this restaurant when re-visiting the area. Such a lovely ambience and always served by friendly and smiley staff.
Really good food and nice friendly staff and overall very pleased. Would recommend. Food
Its just for European people. The tastes doesnt match upto Indian people anymore. May be back in the it used to! Vegetarian options: Available
The food is so good x
Been staying in area doing training for work no food in hotel for two nights so walked into town and found this loverly restaurant food and staff amazing highly recommend will return next time I am in the area
Ordered a takeaway close to £100. Food received was Sub-standard, reheated food and tasted more like a supermarket curry rather than an authentic Indian takeaway. This place used to be amazing - what has happened. I will not be reordering.
Amazing thanks from poppy
We have been coming here for years, and the service and food is always impeccable! Very friendly waiters, delicious food, and great quantities. Would highly recommend!
Came in to grab food to take away. Incredible veg Korma absolutely delicious. 10 out of 10 as well as best Aloo paratha Ive had in years and very nice stuffed (veg) paratha Host was wonderful too, thank you Food : 5/5
Madraas chicken is not tasty I didn t like it. They need to improve
Food was absolutely superb and the waiters were brilliant or definitely recommend it through. Prices are brilliant. You cannot go wrong
Lovely spicy food, Farid is a legend!
2 watery mains, which Ive never experienced anywhere else with these dishes. Dissapointing. Service is good, but you pay for that. Left feeling ripped off even with the complimentary drinks offer. Wont go back.
Food here is excellent and the staff are friendly and welcoming
Food was bland for Indian food, especially the biryani but otherwise service was good and atmosphere could of been more lively. Set up was also good.
Ive been a few times and the last time killed it for me, they dont have high chairs so there was 3 or 4 tables with babies on laps how are you ment to enjoy your meal, The chicken was so dry and chewy I gave up eating it and didnt give my little one anymore of it naan tasted doughy prawn puri was watery.
Visited with sisters .... fabulous
Amazing
Went with friends for evening meal, food was delicious, generous portions, service & atmosphere was great. Highly recommended.
Cannot be bettered.
My favourite Indian food in London The staff are very polite and friendly. I really like this place Food : 5/5
Went with some work collegues, the Food is delicious and the staff are very friendly.
Very rude staff pls change your staff
This place has great food and great customer service. My friends and family love coming here because the food is amazing. The staff are also nice and friendly.
If you want to have a nice evening with family, this is the best place. Food is very nice and the service is excellent, very Friendly staff and very accommodating. Must visit here. 5*****
It is difficult to find Indian restaurants like those before the pandemic. Now most are vegetarians. If you like spicy, this is your place. I liked that the chicken tikka could have the masala sauce on the side, instead of swimming. A person from the room staff, upon hearing us speaking in Spanish, approached and began to talk to us and assist us. He had lived 20 years in Madrid.
Still the best for miles around. Bloody marvellous. Food
Fantastic food, great tasting, all very good, would definitely recommend and visit again
Love this place, Great food, service and atmosphere.
I have been going to this restaurant for the past 2 years and I absolutely love it. I genuinely cannot see why this restaurant has so many negative/not so positive reviews as I have never had a bad experience. The food here is always 10/10. The staff are always efficient and so friendly. This is honestly my favourite restaurant, I will definitely be a returning customer for the foreseeable future!
Great service, delicious food. Definitely recommend.
Great food and service
Great service and very tasty food.
delicious meal, great service and complimentary drink at the end. Definitely recommend!
Lovely evening, restaurant was busy, food was delicious and reasonably priced.
Went for unannounced meal for 2 Wed 30 Dec. Arrived 6.20 and were seated nicely. Two couples were already being served at two different tables. A waiteress took our drinks order, a glass house red and a small bottle of cobra. A waiter brought these quite quickly. Later another waiter took our starter order. We were asked if we wanted poppadoms. We said we would like to order the tandoori mixed grill. The menu stated it came with one plain naan, so we looked forward to that as we like some naan bread with starters. The mixed grill arrived in good time sizzling on a bed of onions. A little too well heated hot plate as most of the onions had got burnt. However the waiter asked if we would like the naan now or with the main course. This was wrong as we now had to wait a further 4 minutes before the naan arrived when it clearly stated the naan is part of the mixed grill. The mixed grill was a bit of poor show, one sheek kebab with little flavour, one piece of lamb tikka, 2 pieces chicken tikka, one full side of marinated chicken breast. Overall it was just okay. We shared the starter. We had to obtain a waiters attention after we had finished the starter to order the main course, a karhi bhindi and a karhi chicken (with peppers and onions and tomatoes) and 2 garlic naans. We also clearly asked for two glasses of tap water no ice in both. The food arrived in good time. No water though. So we asked again. One glass of water with ice was brought. We corrected the waitress and she brought 2 glasses of water with no ice. The karhi bindi was excellent and full of flavour. The karhi chicken was just sauce, chuncks of onions and even chunkier chicken pieces, which could have been cut into smaller piecea and there was no sign of tomatoes or peppers (I presume these must have been blended intonthe sauce. Taste was good, and the food was served hot. Spice was just right for what we ordered. Another glass of wine was ordered and arrived. The bill was good, with an (discretional 10% already applied).we settled with £50. We were offered complimentary baileys, and had a chat with the manager on duty. Overall some improvements could make this a desirable restaurant.
Great welcoming friendly service throughout our visit. Staff are fantastic. Food was excellent and very plentiful. Complimentary drink at the end of our meal was very appreciated. Best Indian restaurant in uxbridge
The food was good, the service was ok, but my boyfriend & I got food infection for almost 4 days straight after eating there. We took different meals but weve both be sick unfortunately, so it refrains us to go back.
I have dined here twice and taken out once. The first time I ate in and it was the best Indian Id ever had. Weekend(Sunday) The 2nd time I also ate in and it was a completely different experience. It had no flavour at all. The most incredibly bland sauce. Ive made better at home. Midweek(Wednesday) Clearly the owner cooks during the week and the special chef comes in at some point during the weekend. I noted that while dining in I didnt see a single delivery driver waiting for the likes of JustEat and Deliveroo. Oh yes and a waiter that brought us a coffee meant for the other table when there were only 2 small tables active in the restaurant, that was hilarious. I ordered a takeout tonight. It wasnt terrible. The sauce had flavour but the Chicken Bhuna I had...well the chicken was bone dry, tough and chewy. 6/10 for tonights meal(being generous) Overall Id avoid this place. Far too inconsistent, more off than on and if youre eating in rather extortionate. Was charged 60 for 2 people the other night.
First time to eat out in London in 24 years and it was exceptional on Saturday 14th Oct £55. We went back on the following Wednesday £66. as I was going home the next day and couldnt wait to get the food. I dont write reviews this is my 1st one ever but the food on Wednesday was shockingly bad and the food on the Saturday was brilliant. The owner obviously has a great team in the Kitchen and should only open when Chefs are working. £66.00 for
Ordered Tandoori chicken from here and the taste was average. The chicken didnt appear to be fresh and tasted bit odd.
Great food, and excellent atmosphere, the service was good when we finally received it, we were sat for 45 minutes before even our drink order was taken, and it was another 20 minutes before our food order was taken, when our waiter arrived he was excellent and I wish Id gotten his name so I could give him commendations for his service, but overall the restaurant as a whole gave poor service as we were waiting over an hour to be served and almost 1.5 hours to get our food
We love going the this restaurant. The food is always delicious, the staff very friendly and its good value for money.
Our favourite place to eat. Food always delicious Staff friendly and professional Lovely place to come with friends or as a couple. This restaurant was recommended to us 4 years ago. Its fab.
Great food friendly staff
Lovely food and helpful staff will definitely return :)
Very very bad experience...There is no salt in the curries even the curries have no taste...if you ordered for spicy they give you 1 green chili for spicy..I tasted many places in uxbridge and Hounslow but its very bad experience..
Friendly staff and tasty food. Good experience
Very tasty food and costumet service is superb. Spacious restaurant, clean as well as very well decorated. I recommend to anyone.
Have eaten here before and thought the food was ok, this time I ordered a take out and it was terrible. Im not sure if the standard has went way down or they dont care what they send out when its a delivery. The chicken was extremely dry and tough and the masala sauce had a very weird yellow colour to it? The tandoori chicken starter also extremely dry either over cooked or re-heated and finally the lamb dish came with only 4-5 very small pieces of fatty lamb. Overall very disappointed and couldnt recommend this place , most of it went in the bin.
Very good biryani. We also ordered korma and it was very good. Big portions. Good atmosphere and attention. Recommended.
Went there for a friends birthday and we all enjoyed our evening. Great Staff, Great Service and Great Food. Will definitely be going there again.
Delicious food. Customer service is very friendly . Highly recommended to come with friends or work parties
I went out for dinner last night for for first time. Staff was good.
A great place to eat and drink with friends the staff were excellent.
Great food, well priced and nice surroundings.
Great food and atmosphere. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.
Sooo good! Sizzling tandoori paneer. Great food and quite reasonable. Staff were so friendly and helpful.
Have been informed by my husband that mens toilets are in a terrible state. I will not use the ladies in case it is the same. This is a shame, as this used to be our favourite Indian restaurant . I now understand why this place is only one third full. Used to be 100% full on Saturday nights.
I went with family today, probably the worst tasting food Ive ever had in terms of Indian/Bangladeshi. I myself am Bangladeshi and I cook and my family has been in the restaurant industry. The food was bland, needed seasoning and was watered down. It wasnt fresh. That isnt what Biriyani should taste like. Ordered a king prawn puri with what looked like half a prawn. Butter chicken which was watered down, some special chicken dish that was so conguled with spice it become sticky or maybe the sauce was just too pld. Some potato chops which was drenched in oil i had to press down with a napkin to take it out. Fortunately Im not from the area but the worst Ive ever tasted. A chef needed and definitely required if the business needs to stay open. Disappointed as I was expecting a higher standard of food to match the price. Just sharing my honest view and opinion.
Lovely food and a brilliant service
Comfortable surroundings and pleasantly cooked and presented food
Food was great, service exceptional. Definitely coming again.
Amazing service, extremely good food.
Lovely as always. Yum yum.
Taste and quantity is not as per expection. Quantity is quite less for mains.
Food was excellent, but what really made thia restaurant so special was the head waiter who took the time to discuss the food options and how he could adjust recipes to add extra ingredients to suit the customers tastes. Would highly recommend. Thank you.
I so wanted to like this place but was disappointed. I started with a bottle of Cobra it was perfect. The poppadoms arrived with the accompaniments. Poppadoms were stale, the mango chutney was actually more a smooth jam no chunks of chutney. The raita was unpleasant, a first for me; the lime pickle wasok and the onion salad whilst being 90% onion was OK. I ordered a Keem a nan and whist it had all the required ingredients the lamb was nice but the nan was cooked on one side but not on the other. I also had a cauliflower Bhaji which was advertised as dry cooked but for some reason was soggy and in a sauce. Finally I had the chefs speciality Chicken jalfrezi, its probably the worst jalfrezi Ive had it was hot without being flavoursome. These guys need to pop down to Southall to learn their trade. Themost disappointing curry I can remember having. I got a free brandy included in the price. But it did not make up for my disappointment
It was very nice good service and excellent food
Cant fault the place. Good service, great staff and delicious food. Vegetarian options: As expected in most Indian s good vegetarian choice of food.
Omg so yummy. They went out of their way to make something special and adapted a menu item to suit what i was looking for. Very flavoursome! Quick delivery and generous portions. The best way to celebrate my birthday weekend thank you Javitri!!!
So rude staff unprofessional shutting no Discipline
Yum
Nice food. The staff was very polite and very welcoming. Good vibe all around with lovely indjan food. There are not too many nice indian restaurants around.
Been here a few times now.Always had lovely food. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Vegetarian options: Few vegetarians dishes Kid-friendliness: Kids are always very welcome.
Excellent food, service was great
Top-notch restaurant . Excellent food, ambience and lovely staff.
Decent portion size. bhindi bhaji was very oily. The veg curry that came with the biriyani was excellent, the biriyani not so much.
Good food Happy environment
Pros: Fantastic food, generous portion sizes, and not too expensive. Vegan options, and a well stocked bar. Cons: We had to wait 10 minutes after being seated to be given a menu, and we asked for the bill 3 times before getting up ourselves to pay at the bar.
Great and very good price for London (surroundings). Good atmosphere and good treatment.
The food was so average and tasteless Parking: Uxbridge-not good at all
Nice food and nice restaurant . Good for gathering as lots of space .
Theyre good if you go in to eat but terrible if you want a delivery, spent around 20 mins on and off the phone and eventually talked us out of it, they Purely didnt want deliver and we are well with in their 3 mile radius stated on their menu they posted in my letter box. Dont send out menus if your not prepared to do what you say.
Nice food. Service was just ok.
Have eaten a couple of times here - great service and really nice venue but food is curry house food and not authentic Indian food. The food is oily and is mainly standard curry sauces with meat and veg. So it depends on your personal preference and what is important for you. Not for me and I ve given it two stars for the service. For real tasty Indian food try Chai Room in Eastcote, Giftos in Southall ( plus many other choices in Southall) or Tamara Lounge in Hayes. Try it and you ll see.
Just as good quality in the restaurant as the takeaway - i ve had both many times and no complaints ever. Best local indian restaurant by far
Do you want a authentic Indian flavours and amazing and honest customer service this is a place !. I am a fussy eater and absolute demander of good phone service and I must say every time I rang them (so far five times) the service and tone of voice was very courteous. I love the food as it is full of flavours (not loads of oil and seem to always use fresh vegetables). The paneer quality is fantastic (my son loves it) and all the chutneys, servings are really good. (I must say there are times I cancel some of the other big chain restaurant orders because Javitri makes menu so simple to follow through). Overall, very good quality food and looking forward to visit them once everything opens.
Modern Interiored Indian restaurant with a nice selection of quality dishes without overwhelming choice. Friendly staff and good service compliment a nice atmosphere. Pro-tip: Kingfisher is a better beer than Cobra.
Would recommend . Friendly staff excellent food will definitely eat here again..
Super delicious food. I have been in Javitri a few times since the indoor dining was lifted for restaurants and every time I go there I chose a different dish and with every dish a new explosion of flavours. The ambiance and the food together make the perfect dining set to be experienced with friends and family. Ps.: All the appropriate safety measures are in place to make every customer comfortable to enjoy the experience without any concerns.
Amazing food really nice atmosphere.
Greeeat food! Amazing Service! Cant wait to come back.
The food is excellent and the customer service is second to none
Nice interior but food was below average. Tried the tandoori which was served piping hot.Nicely presented, smelled nice but definetly was not fresh or tastly. Lamb bhuna was ok but can be much better. Veg korma needs to be RENAMED as Pumpkin curry as that is what it was. Pumpkin and potatoes, was really sweet.
Food was fantastic, service great, very reasonably priced too. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend to anyone
Excellent food and great service provided.
Lovely food, atmosphere and great service. This was my third time in Javitri and it didnt disappoint. The dishes we chose were delicious, well cooked and very tasty. This is now becoming my local for a nice Indian meal.
Lovely food good price and service
Great food, great flavours, great value and great service.
Love the food here, never a bad meal, friendly staff
Amazing food with reasonable price. My tummy was really happy with it but zero customer service..
Saturday evening. Been a few times now. Food great. Service friendly. Really enjoyed.
Good food and service
Amazing food, fab service would recommend
Food amazing and staff very polite and attentive
Sorry to say but I cant eat it is awful it may suit some but definitely not me first and last time.
Very good Indian restaurant, service was excellent, food was lovely. We had a great evening. Staff were friendly and even gave us a complimentary drink. We will definitely be returning.
I never bother on leaving reviews but this time it had to be done. Just ordered some curries and they tasted really bad, bland. The chicken wasn t cooked within the sauce. It was cooked separate on the grill and added to the sauce Really poor quality, worst food I have had!
First off we had a very friendly welcome on walking into the restaurant. We were part of a table of 20 and between us we have no complaints! The service was very good, the staff were lovely, the food was amazing! All of our food came out together and was all hot too. The atmosphere is really nice in here also. This was my first time in this restaurant and will definitely not be my last! Thankyou Javriti for your hospitality.
3rd class food
Exemplary service and value for money. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Strongly recommended !!!
Not bad not too special
Lovely place staff very friendly great service
This was the first time I went to this Indian restaurant and I was very impressed good food excellent service, the only drawback was the parking. but dont let this put you off, I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to impress. ENJOY
Fantastic as ever.... Top service on a busy Friday night..
Very good experience, our first visit. Staff were very attentive, food excellent.
Food OK, but very poor service.
Very nice food Staff +food was excellent and very reasonable priced
I have eaten in here before in the restaurant and it was amazing. I arranged a collection today and the food was awful to my surprise. The butter chicken sauce was like water and had 4 little pieces of chicken in, the keema naan had barely any meat in, the lamb in the mixed grill was chewy as hell. I know we are in the midst of a pandemic but you can tell these have lowered their standards and taken alot of short cuts to make money and cut back spending which is a shame. Wont be eating here again.
Very good
Excellent food, fabulous service. It was our first time eating here tonight and we cannot recommend it highly enough.
Soooo good and they have good social distance measures in place
Lovely food. Highly recommended.
Best Indian in Uxbridge and surrounding area. The owners have worked hard to make the restaurant Covid Safe, and it is very well organised. The Aircon was a blessing on this very hot day. Food outstanding, as always
Food and service was very good. A bit overpriced, but would probably come back for an Indian cuisine.
Great food as usual. Table isolation using screens also very good. Keep up the good work.
Excellent and attentive service.
Nice restaurant, staff very inviting and helpful. Food and decor very good. Think its a good place for a date in Uxbridge
Great experience. Makes me feel welcomed
High quality Indian restaurant in Uxbridge. Best onion bhajis in the Northern Hemisphere. Very friendly staff. Covid-safe. Definitely recommend.
Nice staff and great curry..
Very bad for me
Have been going to Javitri from many years now. Excellent food and service.
Really good grub with a modern setting
Best tasting curry in Uxbridge. Very good service
Great food. Not the best parking facilities in the area but don t let that put you off. You will be sure to have a good meal
Very poor food sauces very watered down, no heat in the madras, very little flavour in the other dishes Very little meat lots of onions and water, luke warm when it arrives at the table, very slow service Very disappointed. If you know your indian food then this is not a place for you. I only gave it 2 stars as the surrounding were nice. Staff are ok, but didnt really speak to us, had to ask 3 times for the bill.
Lovely food and very good service and value. The best in town ! Mike
Entrance : Fantastic - our entry was very welcoming didn t wait more than five seconds to be greeted and sat down with my partner. Drinks and starters are reasonably priced. Popadoms were fresh and warm. I have to say the chutney platter was impeccable. Mains were also delicious. I ordered a king prawn masala and it was spiced to perfection, the sauce itself was vibrant with taste and a colour matching the flavours of the prawn both succulent and plentiful. My partner ordered a lamb tikka Masala and I have to say the lamb was succulent and tender it almost melted in the mouth 5/5 for sure , compliments to the chef!! Overall I would give the restaurant 4.5 out of 5. Only critic I gave is if they would play traditional Indian background music instead of Middle Eastern music.
Excellent service as always. Food is amazing and never disappoints. Favourite curry house.
Food that is fresh with amazing taste sensations.
Excellent service ,, good food
Good food!
British - Indian restaurant , ok food and a fantastic venue. Helpful staff
