Upscale Traditional and Contemporary Italian Cuisine
First time there, not sure if I’d bother going back. Food was good but my lasagna came out cold. Service was horrible. Went Saturday at 6:30. Hostess made a big deal that we didn’t have reservation but there were multiple tables open and they remained open. Food took forever to come out. Waitress never checked on us so I couldn’t even get another drink while waiting for food.
We went on a Friday night at 730, We had the stuffed mushrooms which were not my favorite they tasted like they were frozen and heated up. We had two entrees The haddock and the lobster ravioli which were ok. The Martini's were good and the creme brulee was delicious. The service was horrible. We waited 10 minutes at the hostess to be seated, then waited another 15 minutes before anybody came over to our table. We were done eating and waited 20 minutes for the waitress to come over with the check. The worst part is it really wasn't busy
We enjoyed a wonderful Celebration of Life luncheon in a private room at Gia’s. The choices we had to choose from when planning the menu suited everyone at our event. The food was hot and delicious, as well as plentiful. The staff was very easy to work with and the service was great! Many guests who have not been to Gia’s previously plan to return for the regular dining menu.
We found this neighborhood gem and we are taking the time to tell you about it. Lovely family owned restaurant with authentic Sicilian cuisine. We love dining family style so we ordered 3 appetizers and three main dishes and we shared. We ate the grilled Caesar, the meatballs and the risotto balls. Everything was served fresh and the dishes that were supposed to be hot came out that way. There was not a bite left. We asked our kind and attentive waiter to give us some time to digest before we ordered the entrees. We ate the penne vodka, the lasagna and the chicken cutlets. Once again everything came out piping hot and flavorful. The lasagna was particularly light and we left wanting more! We will be back to enjoy another meal soon. Kindly, Ms. Picky
We stopped by this restaurant after my baby’s first zoo trip! (12 weeks old). This was also his first restaurant experience. It was about 1pm on a Wednesday so we were the only ones in the restaurant. The staff was extremely understanding of me bringing my little one and even assured me that babies cry and it’s okay when he started fussing a little. This was the first attribute of the amazing service received. They brought out bread and a gravy dip and that was amazing!! The table ordered a round of alcoholic beverages and those were delicious and perfect pours in my opinion! We then had our entrees and those were delicious and good portions. Everyone loved their meals. The staff was extremely attentive and even packed our leftovers for us. All in all this was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a while and I would love to go back! The atmosphere was very clean & beautiful as well. My son was obsessed with the light fixtures. Thank you Gia’s ristorante for an amazing experience for my baby’s first restaurant outing!!
It doesn't look like much from the outside, we weren't even sure the restaurant was open. When you walk in you're invited by a warm cozy environment. We were seated at a table near the stone fireplace, very lovely. Our server was named Olivia. She was friendly and very helpful during the entire visit. One of the best servers we've had in a long time. I ordered the lobster raviolis and my husband ordered the lasagna. Definitely cruise quality food. Something you could find at a very fancy restaurant at an extremely high price down Cape Cod area. The prices were very fair considering how tasty the food was. Large portions also. We'll definitely be going back again. Thank you for a lovely experience.
We dropped by on a Sunday morning and it was cozy, friendly, and not too packed. The waiter and host were very nice, and let us take our time ordering. Food was excellent but did take a bit to come to the table. It was worth the wait! Large portions with excellent flavors all around. The pancake wrapped egg dish is giant and amazing! 10/10 will dine again! 👏
Early mothers day lunch with my son & daughter in law. Excellent food with top notch service. Polo Ala vodka & a side of meatballs for me(1st pic), lasagna for my daughter in law & chicken parm sandwich for my son. Huge portions with reasonable prices. First time I'd been there, will definitely return.
Owner and staff are stealing money from debit/credit card purchases. Check your accounts after going here!! Was double charged for a $100 order. Ive gone in multiple times spoke to managers and the owner on the phone for the past few months all of them agreeing to refund me the stolen money and have continued to get a run around and now for the last month flat out ignored. Also after this incident I did some research of this restaurant online and found multiple sewage, health and food safety violations.
Best Alfredo I ve ever had.
What a fabulous Italian restaurant this was. We went for our very first time last nite . Waitress explained the menu for us and believe me she knew exactly what was on the menu and the special of the day .....she was so very professional. The food which I thought was priced about average as most of the restaurants around was just delicious. I had the chicken parmigiana and wow .....all I can say is wow . Every plate at the table was enough food easily for two people. If your thinking of trying it , you will not be disappointed I promise. Im just thinking that lines of people could be at the door to get in and Id get in line for this place . Out of 5 stars Id give an overall for waitress and restaurant a 10....lol
Love the food here!
Come here every year for our anniversary.
Love everything about Gias!! Food is absolutely delicious. Best Italian food I have ever had. Service was fantastic. Our waitress, Sara, was so kind, caring and helpful. If youve not been to this gem, please check it out. We will definitely be returning many times. Very highly recommend.
This is by far my favorite restaurant! The food is amazing
My drink was delicious, food was awful, it didnt even fit the description that was on the menu. Both my wife and I left our plates with most of the food still on it.
Stick to their pasta menu and you wont be disappointed. The eggplant is my favorite.
I got seafood takeout and it was fantastic! With my meal I got garlic bread, mashed potatoes, broccoli and a salad!
Dont let the old school restaurant look and feel fool you. This place is the real deal. The food is excellent. The staff is fantastic and the prices will keep you coming back for sure. Veal Parm and stuffed chicken breast were amazing!
Stopped on trip home from Newport. Very glad we did! Great service and great food. Three in our party did lunch specials which were excellent and one did salad with shrimp - also very good! Do not hesitate to stop - very cozy atmosphere too.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gia, where I experienced the best bread selection I have ever encountered. The standout feature of my dining experience, however, was the exceptional service provided by Kathy, a truly outstanding server who demonstrated an unparalleled understanding of customer preferences. Her attentive and intuitive service truly enhanced our dining experience, making us feel valued and well taken care of throughout our meal. Kathys professionalism, coupled with her warm and friendly demeanor, truly set her apart as a top-notch server. I would confidently rate her service as a perfect 10 out of 10. Overall, the combination of the exceptional bread offerings and Kathys outstanding service made for a memorable dining experience at Gia. I highly recommend both the establishment and Kathys exceptional service to anyone seeking a delightful culinary experience.
We were a party of 12 last minute on Father s Day. They seated us very comfortably. The wait staff couldn t be more kind. Being from the North Shore and an Italian family we were all very impressed with the food, generous portions and drinks. The stuffed mushrooms and chicken parm were incredible. My family is looking forward to another trip up this way for dinner. Highly recommend!!!!
The food was amazing and the service was great.
Excellent food. Good pleasant staff.
Little bit of a wait Wheelchair accessibility: Yes Food : 4/5 |
Awesome experience. We had a big group. Excellent food, great service, wonderful portions.
Their sauce is outstanding that is all I have to say. The best eggplant Parmigiano ever! But its too dark inside
Food was good but the place was very old and dingy. Service lacks.
always deliciously consistent:)
Unbelievable Chicken Parm some of the best focaccia I ve ever had
Spaghetti and meatballs were great, definitely recomend
Just excellent! I absolutely loved my chicken marsala! The presentation was great and the marsala cream sauce was incredible. Not easy to get that right but they do. I cant wait to go back and try literally everything else!
This was our first time here, it was great all the way around. I called to make a reservation, she was kind and polite. Our waitress Gianna was lovely, she knew the menu and made great recommendations for appitizers, dinner and dessert.
The chicken parm is phenomenal. Had a bite of the eggplant parm which was also delicious. They serve bread with some weird bean puree that looks like it might want to be Hummus but definitely is not. Bread is excellent. Weird bean puree stuff is decidedly NOT. Other than that I highly recommend.
This is the worst place ive ever visited. As soon we walked in, we were told them we was a party of 8. They gave us 20 mins waiting time, we said we was okay with that. 30 plus minutes later another lady told us a larger party stay more than expecting, we said we understood that. Then she point us our table and I asked if was okay to call the rest of the party that was waiting outside the restaurant on a chilly weather. As soon we sat she told us to stand up and move out of the way so they could finish the setting up. All she need to do is pull the next table, instead she louder told another worker she asked us again to be out the way so they can finish the setting up. This lady attitude was very unprofessional, she was not polite at all. The whole party left without eat after waiting more than 35mins. I don t like to give bad reviews, but I don t think anyone deserves be treated this bad.
HORRIBLE (poor service, rude people, low quality food) do you know what they gave us for Italian Risotto? White Rice. I looked at all the 1 Star reviews and it said the same thing, rude people, poor service, poor quality food. NOT real Italian food. Just a joke. Also waited 40 minutes when we were told 10 minutes. Also dirty silverware. We had to give two of the forks back and one knife. They have went way down hill on everything!!! Want good food go to Alicante.
Horrible place, poor management, unprofessional owner, very rude people. Food is not authentic. Go anywhere but here!!! I run a real-estate business and have 30 years experience and never experienced anything like this place. Alicante is the real deal right down the street.
Authentic Italian cuisine. The chicken parm is amazing. Salmone Primavera is my favorite. The creative specials are always tempting. This is a local gem right off of 146. Easy to get to from Worcester or Providence and worth the drive! Wheelchair accessibility: Main door has 2 stairs but there is an accessible entrance.
Wow. Just WOW!!! I did not have super high expectations for an Italian restaurant outside of a major city, but I was 100,000% wrong for that. I came here for my birthday and the from scratch kitchen is NO JOKE. From the first bite of fluffy, freshly baked foccacia bread, served with a house-made hummus, I knew I was going to have a new favorite Italian restaurant and Gia restaurant did not disappoint. A free house salad came with our entrees, and the dressing was made from scratch! Everything we ordered tasted like it was made with LOVE, something I dont taste often in my more recent dining experiences post-covid. I unreservedly recommend Gia restaurant....the chicken parm was as big as a large mans palm and I will be ordering it next time, as this time, I only got to gaze at it lovingly on another persons plate. Service was great, our server Angelina was attentive and touched our table several times, even though she got ROCKED with settings after we were sat. Make a reservation and be patient, as this gem gets slammed on weekends, but it is well worth the wait to enjoy a leisurely, well-prepared meal!! Kid-friendliness: Our server was fantastic with my kids and she was a gem and attentive the entire time!!
Had catering for xmas... gotta be honest, chicken parm was hard and chewy, undercooked? And chicken broccoli Alfredo was mushy.... wasnt horrible, but definitely had better. Meatballs were delicious...
Everything was amazing. Best Italian food Ive had in a while.
The sauce on the pasta was good, as was the ambiance. The pasta and gnocchi were fine. However the chicken had the internal crunch of being reheated... insufficiently. When we came in we stood around for several minutes because the entirety of the staff (bartender, waiters, everyone) was in the back for some reason. We were given bread plates but no bread, the salad greens were starting to brown, and refills were irregular. It was not inedible, but it was also not better than Olive Garden, which I think is saying something.
We went during nonpeak hours. The Flatbread were excellent. Definitely will go back.
Love this place
We have been long term customers of Gias for many years. The meals have been very tasty, but the service the past few years was quite disappointing. We decided to give it another try 2 weeks ago, and were very pleasantly surprised. They finally have a new polite and attentive hostess, Cathy, who took our order, assuring us we would not have delays in preparation or service. Our dinner could not have been any better. So happy, management resolved their problems. We went back tonight and fully enjoyed our meals.
Nice place
Phone never works just tried calling
The food is very good. Ive especially enjoyed the seafood. The service is a bit slow, but that could be due to staffing issues, and were not in a hurry anyway ! I would definitely recommend it.
The food is very salty I do not recommend visiting it at all
Some very yummy, homemade food! Took my bf here and he was smiling and so happy. Never had mozz sticks like they made. They were humongous toast points that had layers of cheese on it and deep fried and golden. Delicious and unique. My steak was amazing and huge. The sides were great too. I didnt know my potatoes would be twice baked with a yummy crust. My bf loved his gnocchi. They have the good Caesar salad with the anchovies etc. They come over to put fresh cheese or pepper on your food if you like. This is not a farce of an Italian restaurant by any means, like olive garden and other chain places. There was fresh basil and veggies and a large wine list. We enjoyed our sangria. And I didnt see one person go home without bringing a huge quantity of food with them. It wasnt just big portions, the food tasted homemade. Great service too. We will be back!
Great service and food !
Gias food and service is excellent, my family has been going there for years, and I am always happy with their food and chicken Parm. It is huge.
My girlfriend and I tried this place for the first time recently. Everything was delicious and our waitress was friendly. We look forward to our next visit. They started us with focaccia and some kind of spiced hummus for dipping. We tried the melted mozzarrella appetizer, which was great. We wished there was more. She ordered the ribeye and I ordered the gnocci from the days specials. Both were excellent.
I had a sitting for 15 people reserved. Good food, very large portions, great wait staff, good drinks, friendliness and good pricing. Second time being there for a large crowd. Kudos!!! Kid-friendliness: They have a good kids menu
Best lasagna Ive ever had! Service was great, and it has a very quiet and cozy atmosphere!
Sara makes the best drinks awesome service by staff very helpful and friendly.
Went yesterday (Sunday). Very nice place. Staff were really friendly. The food was excellent! I ordered the chicken saltimbocca it was excellent. 5 stars from me
First time there, and it was great. Everything was on point with VERY reasonable pricing.
Love.....everything about it. Parking: Plenty of parking .
The food was terrible and the only saving grace was that our server was extremely kind and attentive to a food allergy in our party. Glad the only reason we came here was that we were given a gift card so I didnt have to actually spend anything
Omg! Best Italian food Ive had in over a decade! Thank you to my sister for the recommendation. Will absolutely return for more amazing dishes.
Food and service were great. Definitely will be back..
The best restaurant in this part of the Blackstone Valley. Superb Italian food and first class service at a reasonable price.
Food was delicious, but it was ridiculously hot inside of the restaurant!!
One of the best Italian restaurants in Massachusetts. Rustic and cozy atmosphere, wood interior and a nice fireplace. Food is outstanding with an incredible house sauce shared amongst what seems to be a far too large menu. That being said, I have not yet been served a dish that was not promptly delivered and tasted fresh and well made. Service is amazing. After having been poured my wine expertly and having been cared for with what seemed to me a professional I politely asked where she had learned. It was her (Olivia, ask for her) first job and went to YouTube the learn how to waitresses correctly.... ya, big tip :) Kid-friendliness: A true Italian atmosphere, family
Food was delicious service was outstanding
Fabulous salmon! Entire meal delicious, generous portions!
Our first time here. This will now be my wifes favorite restaurant.
Such a beautiful place. I felt right at home here. The waitress was so kind and welcoming. My food was so fresh and the desert was homemade in the back.
Real Italian
Wow what great food and awesome atmosphere!
My family had a rehearsal dinner at Gias on Saturday. The service was amazing (very professional and personable), the food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. People ate and raved about the food. The wine was delicious, too. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious Italian meal. Thank you, Bobby and crew! We couldnt be happier with the meal and the evening. You guys are the best!! Dietary restrictions: We had a party of about 30. We ate meatballs, Vodka penne, sausages and peppers, garden salad, broccoli, green beans, tiramisu, cheesecake, two brownie platters..and, wine, coffee and other drinks. The gluten sensitive guest enjoyed a custom ordered meal. Kid-friendliness: The staff was very attentive to our familys needs..from high chairs to gluten free meals...
Everything was delicious!! And the tiramisu was the best Ive ever had!
My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner here before our wedding and it was amazing! The food was incredible and the atmosphere was perfect. I definitely recommend for large events! The staff was great
Good food great service!
Food is good but its still the old oyster cabin atmosphere. Hasnt been any updates to property since the 80s. Dont be in a hurry when going there.
Sara was professional, kind, and attentive to us while dining with our one month old baby. Food was delicious. Wouldn t change a thing.
Drinks were good and we had appetizers that were tasty also. Big downside is we had to cut our dinner short as we were swarmed with fruit flies. It was pretty gross. People were covering their wine glasses with napkins and a friend got a whiskey drink with a big bug on the rim
I wish I took a picture of the food. I had the Gia Special. Delicious! Want to try the lasagna bolinais next. Great service. We had a wonderful waitress.
Was traveling local on Sunday and hungry after a busy morning and afternoon. We decided on Italian fare and wanted someplace we had not tried before other than the usual local spots around the area. My wife suggested Gias Restorante in Uxbridge and Im glad she did, it was outstanding. I had the spaghetti bolognese and my wife had chicken florentina and the food was as good or better as any meal that Ive had in the North End of Boston. Our server, Sarah, was polite and attentive and really made us feel welcome. The Tiramisu was fresh and light, as good as any Ive ever had in the past. The building is unassuming from the outside but once inside, the decor is very welcoming and warm, there is a fireplace and it has that old world feel to it. It was a great experience and we will be back.
I have never felt the need to write a review but this experience called for it - We waited TWO HOURS for our food. Normally any logical person would leave, but we had a reservation for six for a birthday. Multiple parties who walked in the door left after no host cared to talk to them, and I heard complaints from most tables. Management needs to hire more people, it was a Saturday night and I think there were 3 servers total.
New menu, Newly renovated Interior, great staff Highly recommended if you enjoy Italian food There s enough room for anyone with a party of 8 or more can easily sit
So fire. My server Gianna and the host Ryan are awesome. Great service, food, and drink. Pollo a la Gia saved my life
Not busy. Waitress was very friendly. Food was delicious
Great food and great service sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and kind . Made sure we had everything we needed and check on us often
Made a reservation and we were excited to go after not being for years since they opened. We didn t even have a chance to sit down. We stood there for 20 minutes without anyone saying hello or being greeted. Had the bar tender make eye contact multiple time and one of the bus boys look at me and be ignored. I understand it s difficult finding help and covid has made everything crazy and difficult but from the reviews I ve seen from others I can see that they would rather loose business. It s a lot more understanding to wait when your atleast greeted and not being ignored by the workers who clearly know that you are there.
Casual setting, large portions with a decent price and attentive staff.
1st time coming here today with my daughter. Breakfast was delicious! Host was friendly and waitress was great! Will definitely be back.
Food was excellent, the tomato sauce was the best, I do get acid reflux but not here. Very generous portion with a nice salad and forcasia bread, could go with olive oil dip. Staff was very busy but they did theyre best, a little patients.
For the first time going it was a not very pleasant experience. Out of all the meals one came out fine and that was a childrens chicken finger. The rest of the meals were either cold or had undistinguishable tastes. I can understand the point of being short staffed. Everywhere is. But took roughly 20 minutes to get drinks for the table. Then we had to wait over an hour for the cold, weird food. Our evening out was 2 hours long. Throughout the entire time we witnessed the staff kick out multiple customers trying to come out for dinner. They didnt even say it would be a long wait. We watched them turn away at least 3 groups of 2 people. They said it was due to short staffing. Missed out on hundreds of dollars of customers and future customers. At least other restaurants have the decency of warning the customers there is a wait or it would be really slow. After bringing our issues to the attention of the one server she removed a meal and we got out while we could. Not without backlash of course.
Food was not good.. Out of the 4 of us that went no one could eat more than 2 bites.. Lasagna was luke warm in the middle and cold on top.. Salmon was ice cold. Chicken tenders were just gross. And the spaghetti tasted like they put 2 pounds of sugar in it.. I will never come again.. The waitress asked if we wanted boxes we explained about the food. She said it was bazaar that we were all unhappy.. So we paid $115 and all left hungry.. Super disappointed...
Best authentic Italian
Service and food were very good. We were party of four and everyone was quite happy with their meals. We would definitely visit again
They served me some bread. It tasted real spongy like right out of the microwave. It was terrible. Other than it was fine.Who does that microwave bread.
Good place Good ambiance and character in this restaurant. We had the Easter buffer which was excellent
Perfectly FABULOUS
Avoid this place. Had reservations at 5:30, arrived a couple minutes early and waited 20 minutes to be seated. Once seated, we waited 30 minutes to get water and plate settings, another 15 for bread and then we placed our orders. It took 20-30minutes to get a terrible salad that was not washed well, had a big clump of dirt and the salad was a half serving you would get really anywhere else. It took 30 more minutes to get our entres, and for the most part, everyone though it was alright. Veal and steak were tough. The steak was undercooked which wasnt a huge deal, though the cut of steak was terible. $5 cut and they charged $42. Thick rubbery tendons through the entire cut. The chef also confused banana pepper and cherry peppers. Banana peppers were on the steak and were straight from the jar, tasted of vineagar. About 30 minutes after getting the entres, we were done. Ate not even half the steak, which they kindly refunded. Ask for deserts to go, after being there for over 2.5 hours. Waitress was nice, but didnt check on us, and service very slow through entire visit. Left hungry. Will not go back.
VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Went out for a nice Mothers Day Dinner and got one of the worst meals ever. My wife ordered the stuffed chicken and stuffed ?? There was no stuffing ! It was very dry chicken with canned brown gravy. I got the mixed Italian dish and the sauce was so sweet I couldnt even eat it. The service was very slow, 2 hrs and 40 min for dinner. I can only say the dessert was very good, Strawberry cheese cake which was most likely pre-frozen from outside vendor. NOT THERE OWN FRESH MADE. All in all Not a place I would ever go back to.
Great Italian food!
Good food. Great service and ambiance. Expensive.
This was our first time here & Peter was our server he was fantastic and the food was fabulous. There was big portions of food. We were searching around to see what was close by because we wanted to go somewhere New and it was Our Anniversary. We will definitely be back maybe next time my kids will go with us.
Great Italian restaurant and excellent food. I really like it and we received a great service.
Enjoyed delicious class casino, calimari....salads.....then chicken parm. New waitress Michaela was wonderful!!
Good food & friendly staff27th u
Solid Italian food. Linguine vongole was excellent
Service was excellent. Salad was fresh. Pasta was slightly firm. If you like your pasta well cooked might want to let them know. Sauce was great though. Place is a little on the dark side because of the wood decor. Prices were better than fair.
Wow! Pleasurable, flavorful and sensational! I got the New England Salad, and the Chicken Pesto Panni! Incredible incredible incredible! First time coming to this beautiful restaurant, and it won t be the last! Highly recommend
My husband and I dine at, or get take out from Gias about twice a month ever since they opened. I have dietry restrictions and Ill admit, we are both fussy about the quality and freshness of food. Weve always been pleased with the food and we always have alot leftover to take home. The kitchen staff is always accomodating in customizing the meals. The waitresses are terrific, however, sometimes they seem short-staffed so we just have to practice a little patience. Prices are fair. The only reason we give Gias only 4 stars is due to the atmosphere. It seems like the dining room could use a fresh look, but if you can overlook the darkness, the food is worth dining at Gias.
Very good food. We will definitely go again.
We hosted a baby shower luncheon buffet for 37 people. It was fantastic thanks to Gia Ristorante. The room was so lovely for an Autumn theme and the food and service was fabulous. In addition, the cost was very reasonable. We were allowed to stay as long as we wanted, and Olivia and the rest of the staff made certain that everything went smoothly. Thank you Gia Ristorante!
Delicious food and cozy atmosphere.
Gia has been a five star restaurant with us for years. The food is consistently great. However, our last three visits were disappointing. They are consistently understaffed. The food takes forever to be served, and this time the server or kitchen made mistakes on two out of the four meals. I feel bad, because Im aware of the problem that restaurants are having hiring staff. But its been three times in a row. Weve ordered take-out from Gia and been very satisfied with everything. But we wont be back for dine-in for a long time.....
Outstanding service! Outstanding food! Very comfortable. My husband and I visited a few weeks ago & looking forward to our next visit! Looking for an enjoyable evening? Look no further! Parking: Lots of good parking, right off route 146!
Excellent Italian cuisine and very kid friendly staff.
Dropped in for lunch following a morning drive of leaf-peeping. This rustic, Italian gem was a welcome treat. We arrived just after noon and were greeted by our hostess/waitress. She couldnt have been nicer and appeared to handle the several tables and hostess responsibilities with ease and friendliness. From the freshly brewed coffee to the fresh, warm foccacia, followed by our salads and main dish, everything was just delicious. Definitely made a note to return for another day out.
Amazing food and great service
The food was good, but not going back. If I had seen the condition / cleanliness of the bathroom, no toilet paper, handicap stall out of order, and my husband said the same about the mens room, we wonder what the kitchen looks like.
Great food and Serv
Service was ok but big thing i had chicken and they were big pieces and delicious until i got to the middle which was completly raw and undercooked
Went for breakfast and was very good, great service
1) not teal Italian food. It s American Italian. It s not authentic that it s portrayed to be. For example I asked for Risotto and I got white American rice and butter. Wow now that s a joke. 2) Also the owner does not pay his worker and may be going under It s only a matter of time. Too many people are chasing him for Money bad business
Thanks but hold the giving! Over one hour and no turkey! No soup or salad either! Told they were out of apple pie and pumpkin. For ged about it. We bounced!!
I would give you zero, but that s not possible so I give you a one This restaurant was disciple! I have never been so disgraced in my life, this waiter was being an absolute a**hole, she asked us to move out of the way after tellin us to SIT! She is disgusting and so hideous that I didn t even catch her name she needs to be fired immediately maybe hav tables next time even tho there will not be a next time! PERIODTT. SLAY FOR US WE FOUND A NEW RESTAURANT QUAKERS TRAVERN it s fire here.
Wow! We had the Best Experience at Gia Ristorante! The staff is so professional and courteous and the food was Absolutely Amazing! My family and I are looking forward to our next visit!
The food was delicious and plenty of it. Staff are helpful and courteous. Was busy when we were there and everything was good.
Great food, cozy atmosphere.
Fresh baked bread, generous drink and food portions homemade dressing. Fire was lit. All around great experience will be coming back.
Great food, great service.
Just had breakfast here, food was bland and the restaurant was dark and dingy. Pretty hard to mess up breakfast, but it was pretty terrible.
OMG, unbelievably authentic. All round a good experience, makes one proud to be called Italian. The food, service, staff etc are unbelievable. Going again next week. Must have
Food and service was good.
The food is delicious and the portions are huge. Staff is also friendly. We have been going for years and it s a great local restaurant. I would have given 5 stars however the service has always been very...very slow. Expect to spend 2+ hours for a party of two once you sit down.
Great food, service alittle spotty but very nice
Gia has improved a lot. We had a great meal and the service was awesome.
Love this place.great Italian food !! I love coming on Sunday morning for breakfast! The best pancakes
Food was excellent. Service was friendly. Constructive criticism would be service was a tad bit slow.
The food is some of the best Ive ever had! There are some complaints about the time it takes to get your food on these sites but, thats what happens when its prepared to order and not from a microwave. Enjoy the atmosphere and a few drinks and the wait is more than worth it
Awesome atmosphere! Service devine and food was good although it was served at only room temp. I like my hot food very hot. Maybe they were too busy. No biggie as I simply wrapped it and took it home to heat up and eat.
Great place, great service! We enjoy having a nice selection of Italian cuisine. Try the Eggplant Rolitini!
This place is horrible. The food is good but we where here waiting for our food for 1 hour+ and the waitress was very disrespectful
We had to wait over an hour for a little bit of food, the waitress was moody and rude, there were dirty dishes all over the restaurant tables, it was just a horrible experience.
Went on Mothers Day. They had a fixed menu which is fine but was not mentioned on their website. We had to convince the staff that our 2 kids (3 and under) would only eat pasta with red sauce which was only provided as a side dish with a meal. We ordered our food and drink when the waitress finally came around. She mentioned house hot it was in there as there are no windows open, no fans and no AC. As I wiped the sweat from my brow I took a sip out of my beer to taste the stalest Dogfish that has ever touched my tastebuds. I tried my brothers Fattire to find the same gross sour taste, assuming the minimal beer selection they have was being pumped through unserviced taps and lines. When my ceasar salad came out it was on a small plate. Chopped handful of romaine probably from a bag, 2 croutons that were 100% store bought, dusted parm that tasted fake and no dressing or salad fork. The food came out as we succumbed to the idea that we should just go with a Pinot as that SHOULD be fresh. As my family started eating I realized that the 5 times I had to clear my own table, I gave up my fork after using it for my salad. I waited 5+ minutes until a waitress saw me sitting there while everyone ate and asked if I needed anything. We ordered 2 glasses or a specific pinot and I got my fork. The Princes boxed penne they served was mediocre at best, the veal was ok but almost room temp by the time I could eat it ::smacks lips::, the pinot tastes off too. Finally we were on the last leg of this misadventure, dessert. 3 options, we each got a different one to go as my kids were going to lose it and I was sweating through my shirt. They came with their near $200 bill and I tipped accordingly, then I realized that the pinot that I ordered was actually a cheap chianti that goes for about 11 bucks a gallon, good thing I paid 8 bucks a cup (and I mean cup, no wine glasses available so they dumped it into a water cup). They brought our dessert in the bag and we bailed quickly to get some fresh air. On the ride home, I thought about it and said well that was awful, but at least it came with desserts and stuff to almost make it seem worth 40 bucks a plate. We get home and my daughter cant hold her excitement for her treat. I open the bag and see my wifes cheesecake on top and I hand it to her. I grab the next one to find.... another fn salad.... and the last one to find some bread (probably the only good thing this place has). At every level, this place was awful. I had gone here once before when they first opened and put it off to growing pains on how horrendous and overpriced it was. Do not waste your time here. Get some penne from your local grocery store or something and slap some ragu on it. Youll be happier and save about 37 bucks.
Fantastic old school Italian joint. Massive portions, I got three meals out of my dish
Great chorizo breakfast!
The atmosphere was similar to an old church, but the food was fantastic.
First time dining here. The food was good. Very large portions. Service was good. Meal was paced well. We didnt feel rushed. The star of the show was the cannoli . I highly recommend it.
Delicious flatbread pizzas and pastas. Also the best amaretto sour Ive ever had even though its not a menu item! Great time catching up with old friends here.
Excellent food, friendly bartender
Fantastic food. Wait staff is good. Kitchen is a little on the slow side, but the end result of the food being cooked amazingly well and presented properly is worth the wait.
Want Italian cuisine? Go to Gias. Delicious. The atmosphere is very quaint. Loved it there.
Service wasn t too professional. Even simple things like the balsamic dressing had disgusting clumps in it. Prices are also too high and don t reflect the quality of the food.
Mind blowing red sauce! I try to visit every time I m up in New England
Delicious. Definitely will go back
Lovely meal with excellent wine. Very relaxed atmosphere
Great service and food choices were excellent.
The eggplant parmesan was primo! If you like eggplant youll love this dish.
Breakfast Sunday morning opens at 8 am good choices and the prices are good
The food was good. The service was not so good
Olivia our waitress was grat every time food great had chicken parm awesome
Good food great service
Nice atmosphere. Waitress was very good. Food was slow coming out, but it arrived piping hot and delicious. One of the best chicken parm dinners Ive ever had. The chicken was ginormous. There were 7 of us, and each of our dinners were very generous portions. I felt we got our moneys worth. I would definitely go back.
The best egg nog martini. Delicious dinner but the bread and dip were a little different. Would rather have the standard bread and butter or with olive oil
My wife and I decided to have a nice dinner out. We used to really enjoy Gias, but its gone downhill. Our dinner a few months ago was just ok and the service wasnt great. We figured it was just a bad night. We went this past Saturday and the server completely ignored us. After a wait, we were sat straight ahead in the bar area at a middle table. They brought us bread and water. Then a party of 4 was seated to the left of us. Then another party of 4 between us and the bar. Finally, they seated a party of 7 to our right. The waitress had to walk right by us and took the drink order for the party of 4. Disapeared for 5 minutes and then took the drink order for the party of 7. They said were ready to order food, so she started taking their entire order while we sat there. I said to my wife, Are we invisible? I finally told my wife lets go, and we got up and left. We would have been more patient if she at least acknowledged us. But she literally squeezed by the back of my wifes chair twice and ignored us. We wont be going back. Very disappointing.
Great food and great people
Good Italian food.
