Great food, just expensive

Another enjoyable evening at the UX! Atmosphere, staff, food, drinks & desert were fantastic. Elaine the food was fantastic & Blythe the service was top notch and enjoyable!

The most welcoming restaurant I have ever been to. The atmosphere, food, and people are all 5 stars. We are lucky to have the Uxlocale in our town.

Service was awful, but the pizza was good. Took long for drinks, no bread or sauce which we told was coming served us cold coffee with two sugars for a table of seven. Would not go back, sorry

Had a good meal with friends & family. The atmosphere at UXLocale is stellar! Arrive early & try to sit outside if you can. I was a little disappointed that it was so hard to order food for dietary restrictions. Two in our party of 8 were vegan & they struggled. Food

Has great food seating isn t the greatest and tried to call to order food 3 times one night and the phone just rang no one picked.

Its a quaint place, farmhouse vibe, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. There arent many Indoor tables for 2, so keep that in mind. We got there pretty early, so there was plenty of seating available. The menu is fairly limited, but there was a good selection. I had the steak frites poutine, my husband had the beef and bone marrow with bone broth (cant remember what it was called exactly). The steak was terrific, very tender and juicy. The poutine was just ok. The french fries were shoestring and I think a larger cut of potatoes would have been better. The waitress gave us a good description of my husbands dish, because we werent sure what it was exactly, and he was quite happy with it. We heard a different waitress explaining that dish to another table and she described it quite differently, and steered them toward the steak, which I found a bit odd, and felt that if the other table had gotten the description we had gotten, they might have ordered and enjoyed it. Either way, we were happy with our meals. The food was fresh and had a homemade quality, we enjoyed one of their specialty cocktails and overall had a very nice dining experience.

Over $126 dollars for three pizzas and one dish of pasta. They ask u of you want bread and they bring u a little basket with this TINY little pieces of bread barely could see it in the basket, one pizza wasnt ready when the rest of us got our food, felt rushed to leave even though one of us was still eating, will never go back, was outrageously expensive and it was that great, frozen pizza would of been the same

Had a great dinner when in town. The owner came out and helped us reconfigure some tables while we waited. Great food, great atmosphere!

Im bummed. I hate leaving reviews like this, but our experience was sub par. Our server Breanna was so sweet and helpful, but most of the food was disappointing. To start, my wine glass smelled like dirty dish water, so I had to ask for a replacement. Our server was so kind and apologetic and brought one right away. Whipped Feta app was delicious, but the homemade chips in the chip & dip app were SOGGY. We also ordered a whipped ricotta app that was a little odd because it was more dessert-like. Fish Taco entrée was made up of 2 burrito-size flour tortillas that my friend had trouble figuring out how to eat. She said it also lacked sauce. Both the Steak Bomb AuJus pizza and the Vitamin G carbonara were disappointingly bland. :-( I love live music, but I dont think this is the place for it. Everyone was yelling over the music. We couldnt even have a conversation, it was so loud. The atmosphere is adorable and the farm-to-table style menu looked great. I really wanted to love this place because all other reviews were glowing. Unfortunately, it didnt meet expectations.

Great place to have some quality time with a friend and good food.

Went with a party of 8.. waited over an hour to be seated, which finally ended up being outside, then another hour for our food to be put in. Staff were not very welcoming or accommodating. I personally didnt care for the food, but my fiancé did, however we all thought it was way overpriced for what we got. When we finally were served it wasnt all at once so we still had people in our group waiting for their food. They blamed the pizza kitchen, but the pizza is what arrived first, so that makes sense. Then as we are about to leave we notice the patio is all wet because a waitress was hosing down the porch and ruined anything we had on the ground, like bags, kids stuff etc. Then to top it all off when we got home I realized from the receipt that they charged us for way too much food. Spent alot of money at this place and feel like I got ripped off. Will not be coming back. Do better.

Beautiful venue. Ordered an appetizer, its been an hour. Now theyre telling us everything will be served at the same time.

We got there early on a friday night. The place was already buzzing. Excellent menu and fairly good selections for vegetarians. They have a wonderful pizza menu and how can you beat wood fired pizza? Also had excellent survice from a very well spoken young lady. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian choices and some unusual pizzas

A lovely summer evening spent on the patio at The Uxlocale enjoyed the jazz trio delish Prosecco drinks gelato great service as usual a gem of a place!!!

Edit: have been a number of times since my review 7 years ago. Food is more than great, but among the best you can find for a good 20 mile radius in my opinion! Their food has evolved over the years but maintains the quality I expect. Service is wonderful, too. Very nice owner and workers. That being said, UxLocale is very busy and unlike the owners comment from 7 years ago, they no longer take reservations. They do a great job hosting, and often the wait isnt too bad or if its long, then they make sure you are able to order drinks while you wait. The atmosphere is awesome both inside and out. A little small inside, but its very cozy. The patio is amazing. Try to get it if you can during the warmer months. Its situated on beautiful farmland and the sunsets are amazing! 7 years ago they were great, and now they are even better Great local food, nice atmosphere and good service. Can get busy though.

Pizza was amazing! We got the Mac Daddy and pepperoni pizzas and both were delicious. We sat outside and got great service.

Amazing food, amazing service, beautiful outdoor setting. A true hidden gem!!

This hidden away gem was a real surprise. We were in the neighborhood for an event and after a long day wanted dinner and a few drinks. A local recommended UXLocale. We did not have high hopes, but always are willing to try new things. We found the place hidden away off a small road, out of site behind a grain silo. First the atmosphere hit us. I have no idea how to describe it, except to say it was interesting, warm, inviting, and somehow very personal. Second, the service was outstanding, not in a pretentious New York steakhouse manner, but like dining with an extended family. Finally, the food. WOW. Some one these dishes will truly impress. There is an appetizer called Grammys Meatballs. Do not leave without having them. Parking: More than enough space, even for large vehicles. Kid-friendliness: They loved having kids and have menu items that kids jump at without having that always disappointing childrens menu.

The food was terrific and our waiter was good. We did have a bit of a wait the night that we were there because there was a backup in the kitchen. But the pasta dish I had was outstanding. The room where we dined is large and quite loud but has charming decor. I appreciate that there are many vegetarian choices.

Love the food here. Make sure to arrive early or order early, it gets busy quick!

I cant believe we finally made it to UXLocale ? For the past 6 years every time we were in the area they were closed. Today we were there just around 12:15 and we got the antipasto, and a pizza. Max who was out server was great. The salad and pizza were also great. Elaine, the owner stopped by our table and checked to see if everything was to our liking. Great atmosphere inside and out. Will definitely be heading back

I was disappointed when I attended UxLocale for the 3rd time, noting further declining quality of food and speed of service. The menu is changed frequently and somehow manages to cater less-and less to vegan/raw consumers every time I have visited. EX: The veggie and hummus platter, recently taken off the menu, (told to us by our server) was a personal favorite of mine. In addition to this, I visited at 7pm on a Wednesday and it took over 50 min for my main to come when the restaurant was maybe 1/4 full, and when the food arrived it was relatively un-seasoned and bland. All of this makes me sad as the restaurant used to be so good. On a price note, I spent 4 years living in Fairfield CT, frequenting nice restaurants in Greenwich, and Westport, and UxLocale somehow competes with these high-end restaurants on price, but falls short on quality of dishes. HOWEVER, regardless of this, the restaurant has an amazing vibe in a beautiful location with a lovely staff.

This place is def a hidden gem. They had a good amount of choices on their menu. We got the pizza, which was delicious and cooked perfectly. While they didn t have a kids menu, they were able to accommodate. Everyone on staff was wicked friendly, too.

Didn t find anything extraordinary about anything about this place, I had a pasta dinner that was way too spicy to eat and pizzas are way overpriced, not going back!

Was there when they opened at 5p. By 5:15 it was packed. Food and staff were awesome. UPDATE...got there at 5-to-5 to a fairly long line.....but was in quick and the food as fab as before!!!

Its very noisy and small. If you like pizza, go there. If you want quiet dining, forget it. Try it outside in the summer.

Great place for some wood fired pizza. Extremely busy but is a good sign of a good place. I wouldn t take away a star for that. But would consider other places if I was in a rush.

Love coming to this cozy restaurant for dinner. We typically go out in Worcester but nice to dine somewhere outside the city! Our servers are always kind and we appreciate the local products used throughout the menu.

Green n Go had a Staff Appreciation night at UxLocale! Both businesses operate in Uxbridge! Small businesses serving a lovely community! We had a great time! Elaine and her team are simply amazing! The food is outstanding too!!! The whipped feta appetizer is heavenly w fresh pita made in their pizza oven ~ and the pizzas are incredible. We had a Matty s, an Italian Hawaiian and a Margarita! The flavors POP and the combinations are worthy of the positive review from Phantom Gourmet! Great variety of beers foo! We will definitely be back!!! My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our burrata caprese pizza for lunch. The staff was very friendly and the owner chatted with us to see how we enjoyed our experience. Highly recommend.

There is absolutely nothing not to love at UxLocale. The food, the atmosphere, the decor, the staff, the owner, everything is just top notch. It s become our new go to date night restaurant. Their pizza is unmatched and the pasta dishes are also excellent. We love Saturday nights with DJ proud Larry. If you haven t yet, it s a must try. Show up early for seating they get busy!

Everything from the service to the drinks and the food is excellent here. All the food is so fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. The pizza and pasta is simply out of this world. I can t wait to go back! Vegetarian options: Not everything is vegetarian but then can make many apps, soup, salad, pastas and pizzas can be made vegetarian. Some options can be made vegan with the removal of cheese.

This was our first time at UXLocale. With that said we orders two weeks before ,for Friday December 23 pickup ok fine When we removed the lid from potatoes half of them were black second there was no size on the packaging of porchetta over 6 lbs ? What my family had for Christmas dinner ok not do good

They really nailed the Farm to table concept with ensuring all of their ingredients are locally sourced and ingredients being homemade. The atmosphere was beautiful. It had a very nice and clean farmhouse/rustic vibe with beautiful lighting and décor. The food was delicious, and we both truly appreciated the creativity in some of their dishes. The hostess was so accommodating and did a great job at checking in on us to see how we were doing. UPDATE: We have came back here a few times since and we have left satisfied every time. Elaine, the owner, know how to run her business. I am grateful that she listens to the voice of the customer. Our experience with the wait staff has been beyond satisfactory. Every waitress weve had thus far has been kind, professional and accommodating! Kim, the hostess, is so great. Shes still just as kind and friendly as the first time. Atmosphere: The restaurant had a nice entrance with a chalk board showing all the farms and markets where the local produce came from. Walking in and seeing the pizza oven was a nice touch. The bar was also very well kept, organized and clean. The bathrooms were nothing special but they were clean and, to me, a restaurant is only as clean as its bathrooms. Food: My wife and I split all of our dishes. We ordered the Artichoke hearts as an appetizer along with the Curried Cashew and Pear Salad. For our entrées we had the Peachy Keen Prosciutto pizza along with a basic Margherita pizza. Everything tasted phenomenal. The artichokes had a nice char on them which, when topped with the whipped feta and tomato-based sauce, created a brilliant mix of flavor. The Salad was beautifully presented. The light Dijon based dressing gave a nice touch to the sweet and salty mix contained in the salad. The perfect bite encompassed all the ingredients. The finale was the pizzas. We decided to try the basic Margherita along with one of their Specials and we were truly pleased with both. The homemade dough was delicious. The Peachy Keen Prosciutto was a true surprise given that it was our first time having peaches on a pizza! The mix of cheeses, onions, peaches and prosciutto was truly magnificent. The sweet and salty flavors really blended well together. It may be interesting to see what a hint of jalapeno does to this pizza for those spicy lovers! I, being one of those spicy lovers, think it would be the trifecta of flavor! Wait Staff: UPDATE: The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th visits were all a major success for this well ran establishment!

Great local place with high quality pizza (finally for the area!). Id recommend they have some music in the background to improve ambience and make it more trendy. Havent tried the pasta yet but everybody we talk with at the bar raves about it!

Uxlocale and owner Elaine are just pure gold. The energy in this restaurant is what makes it incredible. If you make it in during the second half of the night you will most likely have Elaine herself (owner/head chef) stopping by your table to chat, welcome you and make sure you loved everything or perhaps discuss how she can craft up something unique for your dinner. There are not many places like this around anymore which is why every single date night we get, we are here. Not to mention the food is incredble. 10+ visits and never a single complaint.

UxLocale has some of the best wood-fired pizza I ve ever tasted. My favorite is the traditional pepperoni, another favorite of my friends is the Mac Daddy Pizza with hamburger, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed pizza. Pasta favorite is the delicious bolognese. The restaurant can get busy so theres sometimes a wait for a table. They do take reservations for large groups. During nicer weather, there s usually plenty of room on the patio. Takeout orders can be a challenge and the hours takeout is available is usually based on the dine in volume. For example, I called at 5:30 on a Saturday afternoon to order takeout and was told they were not taking orders until after 7:30.

Ok this place was amazing! The atmosphere was great. I got the steak bomb pizza and there was so much steak i loved it. The coconut almond macaroons were also so good. If you can go i would recommend it. I will return again for more bread ,pizza, and macaroon.

Great restaurant with a good variety of drinks and delicious food. Not the largest menu variety but much of the food is locally sourced which is cool. Good atmosphere inside. 6pm on a Saturday for 2 people with no reservation and got seated right away, although it was busy and we probably got lucky. Minor complaint is the tables between the bench and chairs where a bit awkwardly long and not the most comfortable. Overall, great unique restaurant.

Uxlocale still my favorite place for soul vibes and the best meals made with love ~ I remember living down the road many years ago when it first opened having a pint of the best craft brews hanging with Chad the owners son for hours talking about life and now seeing how much it has grown years later with true admiration from the patrons, Elaine the owner , her family and staff is something magical. To have people lining up waiting in line and their cars before it even opens and having the owner hug you coming in is not something I ve ever known~ Cheers to you Elaine and for reminding others to follow their dreams like you~

The Miss meena pizza was amazing, I generally liked the atmosphere but it was a little loud and the waitstaff was rushing us to finish our meals to make way for a reservation

Loved this! Food was spectacular. Great ambiance. Service was A+++++. We were surprised by this place located in a sleepy town. Felt like a popular city restaurant. We were greeted by the owner & then later she came & checked on us again. When we called she informed us of best time to avoid the waits. So helpful! Server anticipated our every need. The homemade potato chip covered fish was to die for. The pizzas are a must have. We had a great time and were very impressed! A+++++

My absolute favorite date night spot. I love the food, the atmosphere, drinks, and the list goes on. Ive never had a bad meal here. The staff is wonderful, and I believe the success of the restaurant is due to Elaines attentiveness. Its obvious she has her hands in everything and takes pride in what she does. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try if you havent already!

We have been looking for restaurants with clean and local food choices. We stumbled upon this restaurant online and I saw a video of how dishes were being made from scratch. Olive oil was a top choice in dishes and even salad dressings had ingredients listed. When we arrived we were in love. The setting is incredible. The owner cheerfully greeted us at the door. The food was divine. This might be our new favorite! The most important thing for us was feeling comfortable that we were getting wholesome food with natural and simple ingredients, no junk! Bravo! Well done!

A little noisy but quaint. Prompt friendly service, owner very attentive. Food was especially good, large beer and cocktail selection. Had spinach pizza, addition of mustard seed brought it to the next level.

The food was incredible and such a great spot in the middle of nowhere! The reason I couldnt give this review 5 stars is because the greenhouse area is a little tight. People walking by (including the waitress) were bumping stuff off our table every single time. It made it difficult to have a relaxing dinner with the worry of someone taking out your table. The menu was a bit confusing and needed an explanation. When I looked at the beer options I was told no, thats the wrong page look somewhere else. I dont think it costs too much money to reprint a couple menus for ease of use to alleviate the confusion.

The food is always fresh and AMAZING. Papas Vitamin G Carbonara is my #1 recommendation. The service is always personalized and incredible. and the atmosphere feels like home. You feel comfortable and content here always. Dietary restrictions: They are incredible with asking about allergies and being accommodating

We sat outside, excellant atmosphere. Had a little difficulty engaging with group in conversation when trumpet player began. Haddock was dry, unfortunately, but Carbona was very good. Friends enjoyed the pizza and salad good. Cauliflower grilled app was great. Nice place, good atmosphere.

Another fabulous dinner enjoyed at the Ux tonight! I had the fresh garlic scape & Parmesan risotto which was outstanding. (I m picky about my risotto & the Ux does it the best!) I tasted my husband s prime rib .Wow that prime rib was so delicious & the mashed potatoes were so creamy & flavorful. We loved it all!! We had excellent service from our server Blythe as always. She knows how to take good care of her customers that s for sure. Attentive & knowledgeable about the menu. The vibe at the Ux is always enjoyable & fun. Thank you Elaine. So glad we have such a great restaurant like the Uxlocale in the area.

Perfect doughy pizza, not too much sauce, melty cheese , bacon and juicy chicken (Petes chicky chicky bang bang)! Affogatto with salted caramel Gelato was amazing.

Saturday, September 9th, I drove here for the first time with my family around 6 PM and it was closed. I watched three other cars pull in while I was sitting in the parking lot trying to figure out where to go. I went google and Facebook and could not find any information or a post saying they would be closed.

Fresh ingredients and creative menu!

I love trying different meals here. Always a treat. I bring my 5 year old for cheese pizza and salad. We love it. Love coming here for girls night, a family outing, special occasion, date night. Atmosphere is great and the live entertainment and fun events are awesome.

The best food, atmosphere, and of course staff! If you re lucky enough to dine in when the potato chip haddock or pan seared scallops are on special, do yourself a favor and get both! Arguably 2 of the best seafood dishes I ve had out.

My wife and I have been coming to the Uxlocale since we ve lived in town. When anyone walks through the doors for dinner at the Uxlocale, you will be greeted with a smile. The staff are incredible- Elaine truly treats her employees like family and that shows in their everyday interactions. The atmosphere alone is amazing, from the fire pits on the patio where you can see the amazing sunsets, to the awesome bar area and amazing dining area, there isn t a bad seat in the house! The food is a whole other conversation, there isn t a single bad item on the menu. Elaine and her staff are constantly coming up with new creative and delicious recipes using all locally sourced foods and vendors. All of the staff there treat each other and all of the customers as if they were their own friends and family. Elaine, the owner, is always cooking, helping with the pizzas, and running food out to the tables along side her staff. She makes sure to check in with her customers in the dining area and to introduce herself to any unfamiliar faces in the crowd to welcome them and make them feel at home. We have made great friends with all of the staff there and look forward to going in each and every week to see the wonderful people there and have the delicious food. I cannot recommend the Uxlocale enough!! We love you ! yung Aunties Crew

We have eaten at Uxlocale a dozen or more times and it has always been a great experience- at the bar, in the dining room or on the patio. Delicious local food, creativity prepared and presented, fun lively atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Our favorite!!

My favorite local restaurant. Owner/chef is talented, honest and truly cares about the quality of the food, staff and service they provide. The restaurant is charming and comfortable. I am never rushed and I am always completely satisfied with everything. Love, love, love this special place.

Best food, best vibes, best people

My husband was born and raised in Italy and this is the only Italian restaurant he will eat at! We LOVE your pizza!

This place is such a gem. I m only mad because I moved to NH from my hometown of Uxbridge and I can t enjoy this place as often as I d like. Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu and service is always great.

I eat here as often as I can. The atmosphere is so welcoming, at my most recent visit I enjoyed sitting outside while there was a fire pit going giving such a lovely ambiance. Food is excellent every time. Owner is lovely and came around to say hi and check on our food. Can t recommend it highly enough!

Had an amazing dinner a 10 months back. The risotto was amazing. It was a very nice Wednesday evening. The waitress was amazing. She came back and checked on us frequently and made us feel at home. Our pizzas were wonderful as always, both the Murica, one of our favorites, and a peach special which is a new favorite. Really enjoyed dinner and definitely will be back. I recently had an excellent birthday dinner at Uxlocale! Kathy was an amazing waitress, very patient and very fun and enthusiastic! We really enjoyed having her! Also, I must acknowledge all the staff that came and sang me happy birthday, it was very nice and I appreciated it immensely! The pizza, Matty s my number 1 favorite, was exceptional!!! All of my family were also very happy with their meals as well! The birthday dessert was absolutely incredible! The brownie was perfect and the crushed cannoli on top made me so happy. The ice cream was fantastic as well with just the perfect amount of chocolate sauce . I also enjoyed the spumoni, the pistachio ice cream is delectable! Elaine, the owner and chef, came out and talked with us for a bit, which I really enjoyed! It is really cool that she takes the time to talk to as many tables as possible before heading back to the kitchen to make more scrumptious food! It is very obvious that she loves her restaurant, the customers, and her staff! I will definitely be back soon, and I already am planning to have birthday dinner there again next year! Parking: Very large parking lot with plenty of spaces near the building! There are handicap spaces too!!! Wheelchair accessibility: Not only is this establishment wheelchair accessible, but it is also handicap accessible and very welcoming environment to both people on crutches and in wheelchairs. The owner and staff are very kind and caring and are willing to make your meal as comfortable as they can!

For an area that has few restaurants, this place is a diamond in the rough. By far the best quality food. The entire staff makes you feel part of the family. Sit down or take out you will not be disappointed!

The UXLocale is a fantastic spot for local eating! Its a family owned business so make sure you double check their Facebook page and website for any closures they might have planned. The food includes locally sourced ingredients and the staff are incredibly friendly. Dont wait to check this place out!

The heart that this family owned restaurant shines though every aspect of the visit here. Elaine is the most resilient women badass I ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. The sweat and tears she puts into her restaurant, her employees, and her costumers every night is more then some large businesses do in a year. The food is amazing- never once has been disappointed in their rotating seasonal menu. I thank my lucky stars I ve come across such a great place to relax with great family. If I could give 10 stars I would! Vegetarian options: Although I m not a vegetarian, I have order many of their meatless options and are all delicious and so many options! Kid-friendliness: My son is a king when he goes, especially loves trivia night, nights listening to bands on the porch, and just enjoying the food. Super kid friendly!

Since moving away, I d not been to the UxLocale for several years. I finally had the chance to go this past Friday night. The food was incredible, as I d remembered. The atmosphere was just wonderful as we got to sit on the patio on a warm evening, listening to enjoyable music by Tequila Jim. The service could not have been better. Chef Elaine is an astoundingly talented person who has surpassed her dream of creating a restaurant with amazing food, atmosphere and art. Bravo Elaine and staff!

I wanted to like this place SO badly but overall our experience was sub par. I want to give a very fair review so I will include all of the good and the bad. Pros: - awesome ambiance and decor -majority of the food was really good, tasted fresh, felt it deserved the farm to table label - we were seated more quickly than we were told the wait would be Cons: - ordered drinks at the bar while waiting for our table. My husband received his beer immediately and I was told my cocktail would be a few minutes. After about 15 minutes I ordered a glass of wine because it never came out. Received a larger pour than usual because of the error so they knew they messed up -live music was ridiculously loud. We could not even have a conversation across the table from each other -at our table my husband and I ordered and both items were no longer available at 6:45. We weren t told this when we sat down so we needed to start over on what to order -my husband ordered a glass of wine that he asked to get with his meal and it never came. Our water was never refilled and sat there empty for the whole meal -we waited for 50 minutes to get our entrees while we watched tables who were seated well after us receiving their food. My husband s pizza was luke warm when it finally came out -we were never asked how our meals were and our plates weren t cleared for ages -ordered crème brûlée for dessert. Waited forever for it to come out. Arrived at our table and the waitress said that they used a different kind of sugar and that s why it was so dark so they wouldn t charge us for it. It was inedible, completely burnt. So much so that as we walked out another waitress stopped us and asked if we had been charged for the dessert because it was burnt and she wanted to make sure we didn t pay for it. Super disappointed. I walked in thinking we found a hidden gem and would be coming and the next chance I got. Left feeling completely frustrated and disappointed. The (mostly) quality food doesn t make up for the horrendous experience

Loved the atmosphere, they had a great guitar/ singer the night I went. Only complaint is the appetizer came out late and the dinner very shortly after, other than that it was great! Ill definitely be back. We got a free small cheese pizza as a plus.

Some meals here were good. Our table shared the meatballs and the feta melt for appetizers. I am not a feta fan so I cant say it was any good but everyone else seemed to like it. Meatballs were definitely good. I had the mussels which comes with 3 options for sauces...I had the french which was very good. I thought the mussel meat itself was small in each one but maybe September isnt a good time of year for them. Another person had the Fra Diavolo sauce on the mussels. They liked it and it wasnt super hot. One person had the bolognese and they thought it was okay....a little dry. We didnt have dessert. Overall a nice experience. The waitress kept apologizing for keeping us waiting but we honestly didnt feel like we were waiting ever.

We have tried this place several times and have overall loved our food and drinks. Best overall food within a 10 mile radius. The thing that really brings this down for us is the service. Every time it gets a little busy, we are completely forgotten about. We went tonight to dine in with friends, and waited half an hour to just get a cup of water. The wait staff is always nice, but it always takes so long to be helped. We want to continue to patron this location and show support to the local community, but we d really love to have better service.

Being concise is not a skill I excell at, so this review might be lengthy for some people. The TL;DR is essentially this: the atmosphere is great, the staff are amazing, and the food unbelievable. Bring your friends and family, relax, slow down a little and enjoy some truly delicious food made and served by superlative people. The longer version: we arrived around 6:30 this evening and put our names in for a party of seven. We were told the wait would be an hour, so most of our party went outside to wait while a couple of us went to the bar to grab drinks. The bar was packed and it was hard to even step up and get an order in. One of the bartenders noticed us and waived us over. He took our order and when he heard we had an hours wait he said hed bring some bread and oil out to us. Not only did he track us down outside with the bread, oil, and some amazing sauce... but that first round of drinks never made it on to our final bill down the road. Chuck was amazing and took great care of us, all for a group of people that hadnt even been seated yet. After we got seated we had to wait a bit for our server, but it was fine. We were having a good time and the place was hopping so it was understandable and we certainly werent in a rush. When Jessica, our server, came over she took good care of us. She brought around our second round of drinks and took our food order. The food took a while to show up, but... Absolutely, positively, undeniably worth it. Best pasta and pizza Ive had in a really long time. Three people got the vitamin g carbonara, I got the garlic and herb roasted tomato carbonara, and two people got pizzas. All of it was amazing. We shared plates so everyone got a taste of everything and it was all delicious. Dessert was good too. They brought us what was literally the last cheesecake brownie in the restaurant and the affogato I had was great. We were at the restaurant for about two and a half hours all said and done and Im sure some people would be upset about that, but just slow down, relax, and enjoy a good time with good people and some of the best food youll have anywhere. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be coming back without a doubt. I really cant say enough good things about my experience here tonight, Ive cut entire paragraphs out of this review because of how absurdly long it had gotten. Go here. Now. Youll love it.

Overall we had a good meal but the wait time was a bit long - our waitress was good and everyone liked their meal mostly but I think the price of the chips appaetizer was high for what it was. My son had a pasta dish and thought it was funny when hed eaten the actual pasta and had tonnes of pasta sauce left. Weve been a few times now and my best advice is to skip the appetizers and just go straight for the main meal.

The atmosphere was great. Our entree was disappointing, and we didnt eat it. The appetizer was overcooked. PIZZA was okay. The staff was nice and we may give it another try.

UxLocale really nailed it in the customer service department tonight, and thats just as important to me as the food. So, our dinner got delayed because of a tech glitch, and the owner swung by to apologize not once, but twice. We were four pals catching up, so we didnt even notice the wait. Our server was a champ, kept saying sorry for the delay. When my steak showed up a bit undercooked, she hustled it back to the kitchen and brought it back with an extra side dish, no charge. The food? Oh man, it was top-notch, and every dish was a winner. The icing on the cake (pardon the pun), they surprised us with a bunch of desserts and more soft drinks on the house. This was my first time here, but you bet it wont be the last. Big thanks to the awesome ladies who made us feel like VIPs. It was a seriously great night.

Slow and forgetful waitstaff (had to ask for lemonade 3 times), under cooked risotto and flavorless carbonara. Wait staff couldnt understand a split bill and gave attitude when asked anything. Owners need to have a hard sit down and re evaluate things

Tucked into what must be a working farm, they have delicious wood fired pizzas and a lovely, professional staff. Very popular, but table waits are short, and very worth it. The owner came by our table to visit briefly, and the service/staff were perfect. The food was terrific and reasonably priced.

Unfortunately my review is not a good one. Went to dinner with my daughter, son- in-law and granddaughters tonight. We placed our order and waited forever for our food. At least 5 tables came in long after us, got there food before us. The owner came buy and asked how everything was and when I complained she proceeded to make excuses and said it depends on when the order was put through. As an owner that is not how it should of been handled. I truly do not believe it was our waitresses fault as we have had her many times and never had an issue before. Again an owner should not be making excuses. Im really not in any hurry to go back after this experience.

The wine was refreshing and cold, the appetizers were delicious and delicate. Both of our pasta s dishes were flavorful and fresh. Got out tiramisu to go perfect date night! The service and ambiance was also very nice, loved the outdoor seating!

Poor service....wait....no service. Over the top pricing for a tiny pizza. We left because we sat there for a long while waiting for a server to actually come over to the table. Most were just hanging around.We saw,how small the $21.00 cheese pizza was at the only table that actually had food and left.

Attended a private event on the patio on a gorgeous Sunday evening. The charcuterie course was spectacular with meats, artisan cheeses and homemade hummus and breads, crackers, fruit and a whipped feta with roasted tomatoes and drizzled olive oil. Next we enjoyed beautiful salads with crisp and tender greens and a delicious dressing, followed by a pizza course that included a Big Mac hamburg pizza complete with special sauce and a fig, prosciutto and arugula pizza that was perfect. The final courses were chicken parmigiana and pasta carbonara followed by a grilled hangar steak and roasted potatoes. The super attentive and professional staff was clearly dedicated to creating a memorable experience. They provided take out boxes for each wonderful course insuring none of this beautifully prepared food went to waste. Highly recommend!

First time I have ever reviewed a restaurant. Dealing with customers for 40 years makes me avoid this usually, but our experience here service wise was poor. After hearing good things about this restaurant, we decided to try it. Were told by hostess it would be 35-40 minute wait for an outside table which was fine. It was a nice night so we sat with a nice cold beer and enjoyed it. Then things went south. After well over an hour, I politely asked the hostess about how much longer. You could tell she forgot us. She stumbled around and said about 5 minutes. People have to leave you know. First chance to apologize. Then a few minutes later she sits a couple that came after us. I approached her with the owner standing right there and stated that we had been patiently waiting for over an hour and did not appreciate being skipped over. The owner claimed the other couple had been at the bar and were before us. This was wrong as that couple came after us and sat right next to us outside waiting for a table. Chance 2 to apologize. Then owner went to check the list. Last we saw of her. Amazingly a high top table that had been empty all night was available and hostess sat us down. Chance 3 to apologize. Nope, just a couple of lame excuses about sitting us next to fire or something like that. Waitress was very good, but you could tell she was there to get us out as quick as possible. Pizza arrived under cooked and that was that. I hate throwing people under the bus, and I realize people are short handed and there are other factors, but these people had multiple opportunities to say they made a mistake and apologize. If they did that I never would have written this review and actually would have liked to give them another shot. Treat your first time customers like regulars and those people may become regulars .

Over priced pizza place

First and last time here. I wanted a meal as did my husband. He ended up with a pizza. And I ended up having them make a chicken salad for me. Fifty bucks. All it is is a high price pizza place. Dietary restrictions: I am gluten sensitive and a milk allergy. So not many choices for me.

Great farm to table place not far from the house offering super tasty dishes! Only a mild frustration surrounding the dine-in reservation process. Made reservations the first time to sit outside and were so busy with over 45 minute wait w/reservation, that we ended up dining inside. Second time given 30-45 min. wait outside with zero wait on inside. So we chose inside both times. Maybe look at the process surrounding reservations and outside seating. Thats my only suggestion, otherwise everything else phenomenal.

Very diverse menu with new things added all the time. Locally sourced foods deliciously prepared. We at dinner outside the night we went and they had The Worcester Jazz Collective playing. I had mussels and my wife had a craft pizza. Both were great. FYI - beer and wine only. Try this place!

Super tasty food and good kid food options. Great service which was important since we had to wait for an hour to be seated (my partner and I went on a busy Saturday night w our two kids). Staff helped make sure we had some drinks and apps on hand while we waited. Worth the wait!

The food was super delicious and had unique fresh ingredients. We loved the atmosphere inside but outside seating looked great as well!

The outside seating and rustic decor of the interior are great, but I was disappointed that the bar only served beer and wine. The night we were there they had live music, which was so loud it was hard to hear the the person next to you (so go with that in mind). The service was a little slow, but everyone there was very nice. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the food. They were out of both land options when we ordered, so the only options on the menu that appealed to us were a pasta dish that was OK, but unexceptional and the fig pizza, which was enjoyed by my guest but I didnt feet it was worth $25.00 and it did seem as if they were running low on toppings because they were a little scarce. Maybe we just had bad luck the night we went based on the other reviews Ive read, but this the experience we had. We may try them again in a year or so.

Amazing gourmet pizza, the two photos are the Chicky Chicken Bang Bang (my personal favorite) and the Steak Bomb. Each pizza is crafted by hand using homemade and fresh ingredients. There is also a variety of vegetarian options as well. UxLocale staff are warm and welcoming, a wonderful experience all together.

This has been our favorite local restaurant since they opened. Great farm-to-table food (I love the funghi pizza with mushroom and apple). Lots of interesting specials too. The setting is on a former dairy farm and it still feels down home. The staff are genuinely nice, too. It s a keeper.

Uxlocale is our favorite local spot by far We come in as often as we can, and order pickup when we can t come in. It feels like home here but with better food. The atmosphere is laid back, with a great vibe. The food is fresh, creative, and always changing. Delicious doesn t really do it justice. Elaine and her staff hustle, all night long. It is worth a drive if you are not local, and if you are local but don t eat here often you are really really missing out. Everytime I come to this restaurant it feels like home. The smells, the flavors, the sounds, the people . I have never been to a place where I know I can go and everytime the food is going to be wonderful, the staff is going to be happy and helpful and they always have the best beer and wine selection. The pizza is the best around, the pasta, particularly the sausage and vodka sauce, is always amazing and the portion sizes are very generous. The Uxlocale is always one of my go to spots. Lets start with the atmosphere, a pretty cool reastaurant inside and outside. Love the fires outside makes it so cozy. It is small inside but a fun vibe. Service was great. We did have to wait an hour to be seated when we were told 15 to 20 minutes. They only had one hostess on a sat night. I felt kinda bad for her, she was so busy and all over the place helping with bussing putting wood in fire all while seating everyone. I sure hope they r paying her good! They should give people a buzzer when its time to be seating she was looking inside and out for people. The food was so yummy! I got a Tuscan chicken pasta dish and I loved it. Fresh pasta was cooked to perfection and sauce was delicious! The pizza is one of the best around this town. My husband got mashed potatoes and scallops. He liked his dish but didnt love it. We will definitely go back again and order pizza take out for sure!

The UX is exactly what this area needed. Scratch kitchen, locally-sourced food and drink. Menu and specials are constantly changing. Ive never had a bad meal or experience. Just make sure you go early, otherwise youre gonna be waiting a while!

My husband and I have become regulars at this delightfully ornamented and managed restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The food is phenomenal (I am truly appreciative of the daily changing specials menu). It s advantageous to know that it s all locally sourced! The owner, Elaine, embodies a compassionate female entrepreneur who knows how to run a business with heart. She has such a creative spirit with her food and with her establishment. Elaine and her staff are sincere, professional and kind. Kim, the dining manager is the gold standard of good customer service. She does a wholesome job at making her rounds and checking in with patrons to ensure they are enjoying their experience while also helping with some of the waiting responsibilities when necessary. Our waitress, Briana, was a professional. She was kind, patient and accurate. All our orders came out correct and in a timely fashion. Briana established what being kind and personable is all about. We have been here a few times now and we leave satisfied with the entire experience every time!

i went for dinner last night for the first time. I loved everything about your restaurant. The hostess was very friendly, our server was perfect and of course the food was amazing. I can t wait to go back again. Parking: Large parking lot. Definitely won t have a problem parking. Kid-friendliness: Although I didn t have my children with me, many families did. It was very family friendly looking. I can t wait to bring mine.
