58 St John's Rd, Uxbridge UB8 2UR, United Kingdom
Pub and Chinese restaurant with dado panelling, wooden beams in white walls, plus a beer garden.
Not a Chinese restaurant anymore despite what it says above. Someone needs to update their listing.
Lovely refurbishment, now a smoking lounge. Food was nice and the staff were very attentive especially when there was a near empty plate on the table. The hostess was a very charming and engaging person. Very nice.
Excellent Authentic Chinese food at very reasonable prices, average dish is 80p-£1.50 cheaper than other Chinese restaurants in the area, they also have no service charge and the best bit is you get pub drinks, highly recommended, parking is tight though.
Staying in the Premier Inn around the corner and seen this place had good reviews so thought it was worth a walk round for a take away. By god when I walked into the building the staff were so rude and said the kitchen was broke, yeah OK don't have to tell me with an attitude!! Also the locals were also rude and not much social distance going on. so pleased I did not spend a penny in this hell hole. Google we need a no star option i would of had no issue giving this place zero stars.
The rudest family I know. They talk to you with backs facing you never smile, hardly say thank you and couldn't be bothered participating in the Eat out to help out scheme due to their attitude to Western values. Such a pity because the food is nice.
Great food made on demand. Good atmosphere and reasonable price.
Reopened and rebranded as the Riverwalk Cafe. This is no longer a pub, but a restaurant and shisa bar. The food is very good, European style with Greek/Turkish influence. The vibe is very much North African. The starter portion is quite big. I had an aubergine dish with flat breads. It was delicious, but enough for 2. For my main I had grilled lamb and vegetables with rice. Again very nice indeed. It is a dry bar, they serve 0% beer and wine, with the usual soft drinks. Currently they are in a soft launch phase, opening at 5pm for a dinner service. The outside area has been heavily upgraded and looks very good. This is clearly where they want to push their unique selling point in the Uxbridge area.
Great Chinese food, which can be served at the pub or taken out, and a nice selection of ales. Very friendly staff who offered to replace my meal for free after I accidentally ordered a meat dish (I'm vegetarian). I'll definitely eat there again!
Advertising as a Chinese but now its a hukka pipe place ?
Good place to stop outside and have a 45

What a dive, stinks of stale beer and the manager was very rude. Avoid avoid avoid
First time out for a long time . Great evening with good company
Friendly landlady, jovial customers.
A small pub with a chinese takeaway sideline and also a small on-site restaurant. Very limited parking available. Good food.
This is the best Chinese restaurant and take away in the area. Housed in a Chinese family run pub with good draught beers. Parking is tight.
Best Chinese food in Uxbridge
Pub atmosphere was great, food was not to my personal liking.

Friendly local pub and good quality chinese food. A combination that seems to work.
Nice food and service. The outside sitting is a bit poor.
Not open. Looked as sad as the other two along the river.
Lovely food and service
Delicious chinese food wth a pint in scenic surrounding.
Great friendly local, comfortable and welcoming.
Chinese food in a pub setting. Cheap, fast and tasty with great, friendly service. What more do you want?
Very comfortable pub with great Chinese takeaway service
Limited choice of real ales, but the pub incorporates a Chinese restaurant, so all is forgiven.
Food is always tasty and good price, good service, okay beer.
Excellent food great service fantastic price
Really really delicious Chinese food
Lovely friendly atmosphere, I am very fussy when it comes to Chinese food and there is nothing like the food from here, just like how good Chinese food used to be! Would definitely come back
A Chinese kitchen in a traditional local. Eat in or takeaway, good for a tasty lunch.

Does Chinese food. Enjoy the relaxed dining atmosphere.
Fantastic food, fantastic staff, excellent value for money.
we often eat here and have take away also and the quality of food in the past few months has been outstanding. The staff are friendly, the service is quick and prices very reasonable. Best Chinese in Uxbridge. Also very child friendly.
They have a new menu. Great local friendly owners. Fantastic food.
Pub and Chinese Restaurant - I can only comment on the pub as thats all we tried. Its OK for a quick drink, but the smell of Chinese food in the bar is going to either encourage you to eat or turn your stomach. (The kitchen is very open to the bar). Quite a few pubs in this area and they have to fight to compete - so probably has a future as a restaurant.
