The Orangery by Sapna in Uxbridge

We recently booked the restaurant for a wedding, and the entire service and food was outstanding. The team were fantastic and accommodating to all of our needs, with a special thanks to Imtiaz who was excellent and made sure the event went smoothly. We will definitely be back!

We hired out the orangery for a small intimidate wedding, and I can t fault the venue and the staff. A special shout out to Malik and Imtiaz and all the staff in general who were exceptionally patient and understanding. From the lady who greets at the door whose name I ve sadly forgotten to all the staff waiting the tables. The food was also exceptional. Thank you so much.

Gosh those seekh kebabs + chaat + fried fish.. okay all the starters! And mains.. delicious. I think we went for work lunch, twice in one week. That good . Also praying facilities made it even better. Food

A beautiful restaurant with good food. I got the lamb biryani which was really yummy. A heads up - the rice side is huge! One is definitely enough for two people. Maham was lovely and friendly. Parking: There is parking but the one that is close to the restaurant seems to fill up easy so we had to park further down which can be muddy if it rains etc

Great up market Indian restaurant with unique dishes. Loved the service from all the staff. Just got to make it down for the money part as portions were small for the price. But other than that food was good 4/5.

Absolutely disgusting venue and staff filled with incompetence and liars. Typical! Booked for a birthday dinner for my mother 10 of us arranged accommodation and time off work.. confirmed booking over the phone spoke to someone received an email confirmation as well as a payment link to pay a deposit which was paid.. then called me at 7:30pm the next first red flag.. stating there was a glitch there is a private event and will need to cancel the event and shall we move to lunch? The disgusting man proceeded to shout over talk over me interrupt me and infuriate me the whole conversation. He proceeded to lie continuously stating there was a glitch.. there wasnt it was clear incompetence their end. Then lied the women I spoke to she was new.. another lie as I spoke to a man. Asked as we had all paid accommodation could he accommodate us in the private dining room as this was their fault however he just shouted over me and had no respect or manners in how to speak to a woman or a customer. In the event he even hung up having shouted and talked over me. Decided to record the call uploading for anyone who would like to hear and spend their money elsewhere! They took a deposit and yet to refund so are thieves too!

Excellent authentic dishes, tasty and great choice. Lovely ambience, very attentive service, especially catering to dietary requirements and allergy. Vegetarian options: It is one of our favourite places to dine with family and friends. We booked the Orangery for my father-in-laws milestone birthday and went with a set menu due to the size of the group. On the night, Imtiaz and the waiting staff were brilliant and couldnt do enough for us, thank you so much. The food was good but nothing mind blowing (not as good as the catering we had from Sapna for our wedding function last year). The Aloo Papadi Chaat was the highlight of everything we ordered. The drinks situation is a little odd as you have to go to the bar downstairs to get alcoholic drinks but not a massive issue. The reason for an average review is due to the difficulties we faced in the run up to the evening. Initially I was dealing with Areej in the booking team and she was completely inflexible with menu choices. We had one person that required a Jain menu (no onions or garlic), Areej was insistent the kitchen could only do one main dish to accommodate this. I asked if I could speak to the restaurant manager and Areej said to me that they were on holiday for a month, which would have been fine except I had a call from Imtiaz (the restaurant manager) 30mins after my call with Areej, meaning that she had completely lied to me for no reason at all. I would recommend the Orangery for a celebration, however just be conscious of who you are dealing with when booking it.

Areej , Mandeep , Anmol, Ali, Imtiaz and Fatima went all out for my private dinner celebrating my sisters hijab party. The food was so tasty! We enjoyed the papri chaat, butter chicken, lamb briyani, and paneer jalfrezi. The food was absolutely delicious! We used their TV to watch YouTube videos and it was a really nice vibe. Thank you once again!

Food was decent but the staff were in a big rush to get us out of there and kept rushing us. We had at least 5 people ask us if we were finished when we were still eating!

Our first visit here for a family meal. We travelled from Hampshire, having read positive reviews and recommendations from family members. Very pleasant decor, lovely food, and reasonably priced menu. The only reason for 4 stars is the limited menu options. No fish dish at all. Otherwise, I highly recommend, especially if you wish to avoid the bustle of the high street venues of West London.

Beautiful venue, great food and lovely staff. Maham and Mandeep were fantastic. You could tell that the other tables were also well looked after. Thank you to Imtiaz and your team for welcoming us and giving us a lovely evening on Saturday.

We had a leaving lunch for a team of 20 and the service given was just amazing, we had pre ordered our food in advance and as soon as we were seated it was all on the table. We all enjoyed our lunch and had such a great time. Orangery food and service never fails we come here often, special thanks to Fatima and Imtiaz for the impeccable service you continue to provide.

As someone who has worked in the media industry for over 18 years, I ve always seen Sapna Caterers as a trusted brand, whom I use for private catering for my clients and events. Unfortunately, our recent visit to The Orangery was the worst dining experience we ve ever had. This was my second time visiting, and I chose this place for my birthday dinner with my family, including my 91-year-old grandfather. From the moment we walked in, the staff were cold and unwelcoming. One significant change we noticed was the lack of an alcohol license, meaning we had to purchase drinks from downstairs and bring them up ourselves. This was different from our previous visit, where scanning a QR code was an option. When we politely suggested that this change be mentioned on the website for transparency, the manager, Imtiaz, responded with hostility. Instead of addressing the feedback professionally, he became rude and defensive. Imtiaz made baffling assumptions about his clientele, stating that they don t care for alcohol, and he even mentioned how he tells Sikh customers that the meat is non-Halal an irrelevant and inappropriate comment that left us uncomfortable and confused. We were celebrating my birthday with one glass of wine and gave one point of feedback, yet we were met with sarcasm, discrimination, and unprovoked rudeness from the manager. My partner and brother remained polite, but the response we received was appalling. When my brother mentioned that we would leave if not for the birthday celebration, we were told outright, Leave, we don t want to serve you. We then had to relocate my 91-year-old grandfather and find another restaurant for the 10 of us. As a journalist and publicist who has been in this industry for years, I m shocked by how far Sapna Caterers has fallen from its trusted reputation. I would never recommend this restaurant, or the brand, to anyone. Stay away. Even just some of these comments to a lot of the negative reviews are so defensive. Tip - learn how to take criticism constructively - and be polite to your customers.

Steer well clear of their private dining room for you will be very disappointed with their service. There is no ownership and accountability of anything. Management will not listen to you, your requests or your complaints even. They see people as cash cows, and nothing else. Thoroughly disgusted by their lack of professionalism and behaviour. Please do not book this restaurant for your private dining experience; you will have one of the worst experiences ever and will be extremely regretful. Poor selection of drinks (which were warm too). Food was average at best. Service charge hidden from us. Very deceiving people.

IF I COULD GIVE IT A ZERO I WOULD! DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE FOR ANY SPECIAL OCCASION! We booked the private dining room for an intimate family walima (post wedding dinner), and are still flabbergasted by not only the appalling service but also the way they have ignored our complaint in the meantime, yet acknowledged receipt of it to mutual third party connections we have. The food was mediocre, staff did not know how to serve food properly and were leaning over our guests to pour and place food. The table setting was not correct as per our specifications (in person, over call and email), they built the table during our dinner, which started late due to another wedding dinner booking overrunning and did not compensate for this. They did not make suitable arrangements to our original plans to be seated outside which left 5 members of our family to sit outside the private room, instead they should have offered a big table within the restaurant to cater for the numbers they said they could cater for. They didn t provide the selection of drinks as requested. They failed to mention there is a service charge when we booked the room, on top of the per person charge, and booking fee, plus tea is not included and they decided to openly state this in front of all of our guests. I could continue to go on but now you have a good idea of just how poor this place is, doesn t care about its customers at all and just looking to take your money and run. Don t go there.

I think 4 stars is generous and would like to have given it 3.5 stars. This place has a lovely setting and aesthetics of the food, orange trees and golf course. However, the food was lacking in flavour. I was really surprised about this with it being a sapna restaurant. Besides the fish and chicken handi, I wouldn t recommend any other dishes. Service was also poor and really hard to get the attention of service when the restaurant was very empty.

Such a nice enviorment next to my work place, food is nice, starters are amazing, but one thing which made me come to review it is their customer service. Every member of staff had a smile on their face and were professional and friendly. Loved it.

They sneak in extra charges...and unprofessional when I called. When asked who I was speaking to, conveniently pretended that could not hear when I had 5 bars and could hear their background. Did not expect this!

I recently dined at the restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the service. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and seated promptly. We were served by Mansham and she was really lovely. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. As for the food, everything was simply delicious. We had lamb chops, Fried Masala fish. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. It s clear that the chefs take great pride in the quality and creativity of the dishes. Whether you re looking for a cozy meal with friends or a special night out, this is a top-notch choice. We hosted my son s birthday dinner at The Orangery for about 24 guests and it was a wonderful evening. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and the ambience was beautiful. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening and the staff saw to every detail to make it a special occasion for us. Haider and Mansham were the main staff serving our party and Imtiaz was the restaurant manager that evening. They, along with all the other staff, did an amazing job. We look forward to our next visit to this beautiful restaurant.

We celebrated my husband s 40th birthday at The Orangery yesterday, and it was a great experience from start to finish. They accommodated all 22 of us at one long table and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Even though we arrived half an hour late for our 8:30pm reservation, the staff were understanding and never made a fuss. The food was delicious! We opted for the set menu, and everything was plentiful and flavorful. I recommend trying the fish tikka, samosa chaat, Chapli kebabs and butter chicken, gajar ka halwa with kulfi. We also brought a cake, and they kindly sliced and served it alongside our dessert. Despite staying past closing time, the staff remained friendly and accommodating throughout the evening. Their hospitality really made the night special, and I can t recommend this venue enough for any special occasion. Thank you to the entire team for making it such a memorable celebration!

From the moment we booked the private room, Haider, the main coordinator, played a pivotal role in ensuring that everything went smoothly. His efficiency and attention to detail during the planning process were impressive, and his presence during the evening, managing the service of the various courses, was seamless. The front room staff, equally efficient and friendly, contributed greatly to making the evening unforgettable. Their professionalism and attentiveness never went unnoticed, as they were always on hand to ensure that everything was perfect. The restaurant went above and beyond by opening up the balcony area for our event, creating a fantastic atmosphere that made the private party feel both intimate and special. The ambiance was enhanced by the lovely outdoor setting, adding an extra layer of charm to the evening. Now, onto the food simply outstanding! Every dish was a testament to authentic Punjabi cuisine, with flavours and spice level were perfect. A great variety of courses and politely looking after vegan and other dietary requirements . We had a private dining event here at the weekend and we were so impressed with the food, service, atmosphere and whole experience. Would definitely recommend. We were looked after by Haider, Areej and their staff and from the beginning and entering the room to the close of the night (with no rush from the staff), they were friendly, professional and helpful. Its been a great experience to attend an event at this beautiful location. The service and food is great and you can customize your catering according to your taste and needs. I love the atmosphere and decor of this restaurant. The food tasted good until I peered through the kitchen door and found the gas range missing which is pretty odd for a restaurant. I wonder how they warm up the food.

Beautiful views. Really clean. Best food i ve had in a while. You can tell they use the best ingredients and everything tasted so good and fresh. Loved it. Absolutely terrible service, unprofessional management, the manger was on the floor knowing we were not happy did not bother even coming to see us. The waiters where basically slamming the plates and food on the table also knocking my sisters head and not even apologising.

I have been to the restaurant before and loved it so much that I brought my friends out for a girls night out just before Ramadan and they loved the food and the atmosphere,the service was great too.

Shocked at your reply how can you just assume .. you should have checked on your booking diary for the visit date before you start ASSUMING ! I am afraid your assumptions are just like your service! Shame on you being the owner and replying to a review in this manner. Do I assume you are selling alcohol to your guests now. Service is Shambolic . No one is bothered including the Floor Manager.

Very bad food and the lady who served us with the headscarf thrown the food on the table

As we entered the restaurant, it was extremely loud, almost school canteen like. To make matters worse, the music was extremely loud for a restaurant setting. There were groups that were shouting, which is unnecessary in a restaurant and it should be up to staff to ensure a good atmosphere. Anyway, we stayed nonetheless as the restaurant itself is pretty and we had travelled quite far to get there. The food came and to my disappointment, it wasn t great at all. We ordered the lamb chops, samosa chaat, butter chicken and naan. The only decent dish was the samosa chaat! The butter chicken was watery and bland and the lamb chops came at room temperature. Aside from the food, it was quite difficult to get the attention of a waiter as we were sat on a table with no napkins. Overall, quite disappointed.

I have been twice to The Orangery by Sapna. It has never disappointed- in fact my last time, I accidentally booked a table for the wrong date but the team still accommodated me and my party. This is Pakistani food at its best - the masala fish, tandoori chicken tikka and daal makhni were my favourite but everything on the menu is 10/10!

Maham Aman provided unmatched and flawless service. We truly had an evening full of laughter thanks to her. The food and ambiance was uniquely Sapna style. Would highly recommend.

Great experience from start to finish. Lots of options of the menu, the food tasted amazing and special thanks to Maham and Anum for looking after us so well. Special mention to the addition of allergens automatically on the menu ( not the norm for Indian restaurants but definitely appreciated, particularly because we had a coeliac patient in the group), and also for the beautiful setting and location. A beautiful view over the golf course and the restaurant itself really sets it apart.

First time dining at The Orangery and certainly wont be the last. Large family group of 10 of us on a Saturday night. The venue itself is fantastic. Beautiful setting overlooking a golf course- high ceilings and real attention to detail with the interior design. The staff were very attentive, patient, friendly and professional without ever being overbearing or annoying like some places. Our main server Maham in particular did a great job. Great selection of dishes which isnt always the case when trying to please the whole family from young kids to grandparents. There wasnt a single dish that anyone complained about, and the good portion sizes and not-too-oily dishes were enjoyed by all. Compared to many similar places, also impressed with how dishes like the bhuna ghost, chicken karahi and shahi paneer didnt just have a few chunks floating in lots of sauce. Only a few of us ordered desserts but those who did clearly enjoyed them. I would highly recommend the Orangery for any occasion. We saw other smaller groups as well as a number of couples enjoying themselves. The food, decor, atmosphere and clearly well trained staff make it an ideal place for couples or groups to dine, whatever the occasion. Also pleasantly surprised when the bill came as had anticipated the cost to be much higher considering the quality of food and how much we ordered. Dietary restrictions: The menu very clearly notes many different allergens that may be present in any dish, rice option for anyone gluten-free Kid-friendliness: Our group of ten contained four children aged seven to 14 who (for once!) all found enough to eat without fussing or complaining and all clearly enjoyed their meals. Clearly an upscale venue but not one that seems too stuffy for kids and one of them commented that they appreciated being treated the same as the adults by the waiting staff instead of being ignored just because theyre younger.

Husband had this booked as a surprise :) This was our first time here after discovering this place via tiktok, the location is beautiful, the atmosphere was serene and peaceful, family orientated and formal setting. The staff were prompt, attentive and overall their code of conduct was lovely. The food quality was excellent and was absolutely delicious! And I must say, authentic, every dish was original to how its meant to taste. We had booked for Lunch, they also cater for afternoon tea. We ordered the Shami kebab and tandoori chicken for starters, mains were chicken burger with fries, lahori cholay, chicken biryani, sesame naan and for drinks we went for the strawberry Daiquiri and lemonade. There was nothing that we didnt like, and to be very honest we couldnt finish everything so we had it packed to takeaway with us. Manzoor was very well spoken and polite, he made time to speak with us about our experience towards the end, and also provided full details about the afternoon tea package. Well definitely be coming back again to try the rest of the menu, super happy to have found this gem in Uxbridge! I have luch after a golf road at Stockley Golf Club at the The Orangery by Sapna with my my family and a friend. It was a great experience. The food and service was fantastic. Not very heavy and tends to happen in Indian restaurants and the service was very friendly and efficient. I will highly recommend this restaurant and will probably book this for a family event soon.

My husband and ate here two years ago and we loved it. The food was tasty and the portion size was decent, so we were looking forward to coming back again, only this time we felt like they had downgraded! my husband ordered the Seekh Kebab which were unbelievably tiny/thin and only 2! my butter chicken was bland and sickly, as they mixed tandoori chicken strips into the bland creamy masala; This is not butter chicken. We were quite shocked and left disappointed as our bill came up to £90 for such small tasteless food. side note - when the waitress served the seekh kebab my husband asked her if he looked like a child? she started laughing because she too knew they were ridiculously tiny. Despite this, the restaurants ambiance is lovely and is situated next to an open golf course! very picturesque.

I would like to Thank the management team and our personal assistant who were outstanding and so professional at customer service that nothing was too big for them. We hosted our 25th Wedding anniversary here in the private room. Every smallest request and more was fulfilled by them. They went up and beyond to make our celebrations extraordinary. The delicious food, hospitality and generous drinks and so much more... They are brilliant at responding to email and communication it really amazed me. We are so glad we chose Orangery to celebrate our milestone in life and made so many beautiful memories for life. Definitely going back there for more occasions and 100% recommend it to others. Perfect location for a post graduation extended family meal, covering ages 8 - 80. Terrifically tasty food, definitely, on the beautifully spicy side, and brilliantly presented. No alcohol licence, but theres a bar downstairs.

Food (none was excessively spicy): - Samosa Chaat and Papdi Chaat: Both full of flavour, recommended. - Tandoori Chicken Tikka: excessively red due to the food colouring, a bit chewy but OK. - Seekh Kabab: Quite good, not too dry. - Masala Fish: Reasonable but could have been crispier. - Haandi chicken curry: Interesting flavour, enjoyed by the person who ordered it. - Lamb bhuna: overcooked, no longer tender, not recommended. - Chicken biryani: good blend of biryani spices, recommended if you usually like this dish. - Chicken burger (comes with fries): gourmet style burger, soft brioche bun, enjoyed by the person who ordered it. - Zeera rice/tandoori nan: nothing special but perfectly adequate accompaniments. Dietary restrictions: All meat halal. Lots of Gluten Free and vegetarian options.

I loved the ambience, and the food was so good. The service was brilliant and the staff were very nice. I would definitely recommend going here for Birthday partys, iftaar, maybe a wedding dinner etc. Wheelchair accessibility: This is a lift near the left of the stairs which can help with wheelchairs and pushchairs.

Very disappointing experience. Service was extremely poor. Delay in being served to place the order, requested the dessert menu which never arrived, so requested the bill. Ten minutes later had to request the bill from a second waitress. The food is the selling point but there is no customer service at all. Will not be returning to the orangery. Also, when placing the booking online it asks what the occasion is. I stated birthday but there is no relevance to the customer for volunteering this information. They don t do anything with the information from the customers perspective.

Having been part of the large party visiting last Friday, hoping to enjoy a great night with great friends after a long time, it was overshadowed by the lack of responsibility and ownership of a problem that could easily have been rectified by the management team. By Gods grace and sheer hard work, my friends and I live comfortable lives and can afford nights out; happy to pay for it and compliment good service. Unfortunately, on this occasion, finding a hair in my aloo palak made my stomach turn and put me off having another bite. After clearing my plate and the requesting for the affected dish to also be removed, I expected a fresh aloo palak to be bought but it never materialised. The complimentary tea was only mentioned at the end of the night and definitely wasnt had by me! It wasnt a case of wanting free food, like I said, we can all afford to pay our dues, but it was a matter of principle. My friends and I all work in a service orientated industry and understand the importance of consumer reward and retention in the face of unforseen circumstances - something this restaurant needs to invest in. Why would we squabble over the lower cost vegetarian item of £9.49 and yet pay £263.30 if, according to the Manager, our only purpose was to get compensation? To top it off by referring to my friends as blackmailers after they posted about our genuine experience, shows the unprofessional and contemptuous attitude by the person who is meant to Manage. I will never give a penny of my hard earned money to this establishment again.

Celebrated our daughter s 21 birthday today. The food and atmosphere was so good. Very friendly staff especially our server Girish nothing was too much ask. He was absolutely amazing. The food as always did not disappoint. We always come away satisfied with food and service. The karak chai addition is a very welcome addition. Wheelchair accessibility: They re wheel chair friendly as they have a lift to go upstairs and enough space to move the wheelchair .

Unfortunately our food was very average. We ordered kebabs and fish for starters as well samosa chaat, but they all disappeared. We ordered a few mains, but again, the dishes left much to be desired.

The service is really bad here. Be warned. I blame Instagram for all the hype. All you need is a flower wall these days in order to get customers through the door. So we waiting over an hour for the food to arrive and when we complained to the manager about the cold food and food not arriving he said what can I can I do. Well for a start love, you could do your job? The staff are rushed of their feet and seem to be agency staff. If youre going to charge so much for your food and drink then please invest in your staff. I will never return.

Its one of my favourite Asian restaurants. Am fussy where I eat, especially when it comes to Asian food. But each time I have here, the food has been awesome.

Ordered to pick up, received text saying they will text me when the food is ready. Waited 1 hour and no text! I went to collect the food which was very cold, the salad was spoiled and chips were very bad too. This is my first and definitely a last time to order from here.

Really disappointed in the service and food, the food was very bland and tasteless not sure if this is down to a change in the chef. I ve been here before 2 years ago and the food was better. The service was atrocious, the waitress was half asleep when taking payments. She miscalculated and undercharged. We left the building and she chased us down the car the carpark for payment. So unprofessional. Don t recommend anything on the menu here unless they change the chef trust me save your money, you can make better food at home.

I went with my friends to have dinner yesterday. It was a great experience. The food there was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful. Our Server Manshaam was exceptional with her service. She was very attentive and accommodating. Overall, this was an incredible dinning experience.

Food good but prices higher and portions smaller. Absolutely do not order Celebration platter as portion is only one Gulab Jaman and price higher. Completely unfair. I questioned the justification but out of their control. Overall prices should be more reasonable if they want repeat customers. Good services and hospitality.

I came here for my 17th birthday about 3 days ago with my entire family, and my aunt recommended this place for us to eat. Not only did I get a very warm welcome when I came in but they went extra mile to make a really good cake and sing happy birthday. The staff were really warm and friendly and the atmosphere was top notch. I mean, I still love kfc lots but it won t even come close to the food here. The chicken tikka was bomb and I have depression, but it quite literally cured it and gave me a birthday to remember. I ll definitely be coming back next week for my friends birthday, who is very into indian and Pakistani cuisine. Thank you for making my day the best! Kid-friendliness: My baby cousins loved it here

Having been a few time I recommended to visit with a groupof friends. One of the dishes came with a human hair, this totally put us off. To make matters worse the staff did not deal with situation in a apologetic way which took us by surprise, it was a large group booking and they did not deal with the situation as you would expect a restaurant of their statue. Dear owner of Sapna I am now certain now from the response of the owner the tone Is set from the top!! If the owner r doesn t care and is resorting to saying we r blackmailing him instead of apologizing for the hair in the food because according to him there was a lid on the food and there no way a hair could fall in the food because the food is cooked with a lid on it!!!! You say we don t want to pay the bill and wanted it for free then u have been misinformed as we paid a bill for over £263.00 Including the hairy vegetarian dish ! You say we blackmailing you with reviews the reviews are there to shout out good bad and extremely bad service food and staff ! Pls read a book on how to salvage bad service next time you won t have to resort to being personal ! Train and give responsibility to ur managers so they can make decisions and salvage a situation instead of it going out of hand ! We went out in a group to orangery as we have Ben here b4, but our experience this time was appalling from the moment we entered, the lady at the front did not have great customer service skills and her understanding of the English language was poor. We finally settled in the private room even that was an issue for her as she came in and asked why we moved when she had given us the choice to sit there advising us we she had to decline a booking (not sure how that was relevant ). We ordered starters then mains , we had a couple of friends who were vegetarian so they made there own orders, once there order arrived we found a long hair in the food to this the lasy at the front once told about said we don t have any women in the kitchen again not something we would be know, why was that relevant ? She never replaced the dish as we asked her to take it away and she looked at us as if we were asking something unusual ! Why would we carry on eating from that dish when there was a hair found in it. We waited for ages for a replacement nothing arrived. Once the bill came we asked for the vegetarian bill to be cancelled as my friends didn t eat after that. They were not happy to do that and said we have given u tea (only 3 out of 9 had tea) my vegetarian friends has nothing . We felt they were doing us a favor ao we said we will Pay the whole amount even for the hair veg dish and they came back and we paid the whole bill. Could not believe no customer service no customer retention no care no good end result . In a nutshell we will not return ! Sapna needs to re evaluate there services and issues and customer service and retention! If you find anything that should not be in the dish don t waste time fixing it as no one cares

We booked the private dining room for a surprise 60th birthday. Girish and his team were excellent. The whole team was very attentive and accommodated all of our needs without fuss. The service and food were excellent. My feedback would be that the private dining room is quite tight for space. While the balcony helps, if the weather isn t appropriate, you re not left with a lot of room to move around and mingle in the private dining room. Aside from that, it can t be faulted. I held my 50th birthday party here and the venue, food and service was excellent. Our lead waiter for the evening was Haider who with his team did an incredible job. We had a large group and the management accommodated by placing an extra chair in the private dining room. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Amazing food! It was a great pleasure to have lunch today in this lovely restaurant. Place looks beautiful especially when its getting dark and shows lights around restaurant. We had my mum s 75th birthday here - from the first phone call to the delivery of the event it was exceptional service. The food was truly delicious every single item was 10/10, and the service on the night was faultless we felt so looked after and accommodated for so kindly. We couldn t have asked for more, even more incredible given the number of people in our party. If I could give 10 stars I would. A big thank you to Malik for all the help with planning in advance and the team on the night Pallavi, Verma, Arum, Mandeep, Mansham and everyone in the kitchen. If you re thinking of having a function here there genuinely isn t anywhere else I d recommend more.

Went here to try some food because we were considering Sapna caterers for a big event. The food was below average and so dry that we all struggled to finish it. The most basic item which is chaat was dry and when we asked for extra yogurt and chutney they said to use the raita which came with biryani. Biryani lacked flavour and most of it seemed to be just plain rice especially lamb one. They had a big event which was due to start in one hour so the staff was fully focused on that instead of catering towards everyone who was already eating.

Style over substance. The place is decorated nicely but service is shockingly poor from both the restaurant and the bar. The food is average. It s worth noting that those that would like to have an alcoholic drink with their meal have to go downstairs to the bar to purchase their drink. It s also worth mentioning that if you re intending on dining as a group, there is an unusual restriction on the number of card payments to pay the bill We will not be returning.

I have been to this place once before and complained about the taste of the food. It tastes like it was precooked or old food. I tried booking for 2 people in Ramadan and was told to pay £75 upfront (£37.50 each). The price is for their Ramadan menu which consists of: tap water, dates, pakora as starters, a main course and then tea. I told the staff I do not like the Ramadan menu and that is an extortionate amount for this basic menu. I said I would like to book a table for 2 without the Ramadan menu. The staff said, normal booking will be after 8pm and not before that, which is ridiculous. These people are extorting consumers in the month of ramandan, pressuring me to pay £75 upfront just for a booking and i have no choice but to choose their Ramadan menu. I requested to speak to Imtiaz, Manager to ask him why they are extorting people on such basic menu - other places would offer tap water, dates, tea/coffee, bread or pakora for free, especially during ramadan. The manager was unavailable and the staff said he will call me back. The manage has not called me back. I was and am appalled by this, especially with the service charge they add on to the bill is also quite hefty. I would avoid this place at all cost, especially during Ramadan.

Hi Guys - We went there to celebrate few occasions for my wife and decide to visit with my family for afternoon lunch . As we walked in and were escorted to our table ,Mr Verma came jn greeted and made us very comfortable . When my wife asked few food questions he was so professional in explaining and what could compliment each palate . Then I saw overall flow was seamless. Staff also very happy and that shows leaders true expertise making all look smooth within the team making our experience even better . Food was on point ,also service was great with restaurants of Asian dining we felt very nice and made our afternoon memorable . So we hired out the private space for my dads 70th birthday. The service and food was absolutely perfect! If Im being picky, then the only thing wrong was that we were short a spoon, and thats only because we used it for part of the cake cutting celebration. The team did the simple things at a high level and always made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Excellent customer service at its finest! From the beginning to the end of our event, the whole Orangery team delivered a great experience! The venue/space is spectacular! A special thank you to Imtiaz, Verma, Areej and the gentleman who served us throughout the evening, Gireesh! (apologies if I have spelt the names incorrectly) Thank you once again and we look forward to visiting in the near future!

Awful food, definitely not recommended for vegetarian. Disappointed with Akbari Paneer, it was chilly paneer but cooked in ketchup with some red chilli powder, no taste at all other than sweet and sour taste of ketchup. Tarkha daal was ok and paneer jalfrazi was below average. 2 star for Good atmosphere, overlooking the god club and excellent service and 0 start for food. Definitely not recommended and never going back again.

Went for the Ramadan iftaar menu. To be honest it was not worth £37.50 per person. I wouldn t pay that much food was abit tasteless. The manager did argue regarding changing the dish as we didn t want meat but other than that it was okay would not go again. Not worth all the hype that people show all over social media

Lets start with the appetizing part: the food was great. Sapnas culinary magic is usually reserved for grand weddings, but they managed to bring the same taste sensation to our table. Now, onto the not-so-great bits: For the princely sum of £42 per person, we were expecting good service, instead, we got a service that felt more like a street-side chaat stall during rush hour. We were there for Iftar, they had a set menu. However, it seemed like they forgot that we might need a moment for prayers. By the time we returned, our food was colder than the ice bucket challenge. Furthermore, it felt like a race against time as the servers kept swooping in, asking if we were done. Felt like seagulls with chips on the beach. Asking for an extra juice / tea was like haggling in a bustling marketplace, and dessert seconds were a distant dream. Plus, blasting Bollywood beats after Iftar during Ramadan? Jeez have some respect. In the end, it was a rollercoaster ride of flavors and topped with a hefty £30 service charge. While the food might tempt me back for another try, they definitely need to spice up their service game.

Im not sure why this has quite a few negative reviews. We thought the food although not the best,was good. The service was very good.The decor and atmosphere was really nice too.The deduction of star is because of the addition of the 12.5% service charge which is added to the bill.This might be okay if people are splitting the bill between them.For a family of 5(kids ages 13,8 and 6) to spend £165 on lunch and then cough up a £20 service charge on top,is a bit much!

Visited twice and very impressed both times. Food is cooked perfectly with lots of flavour and the portion sizes are also good. The menu has a good range of choices with reasonable prices. Service is also faultless. Only recommendation would be to serve food slightly hotter.
