Corner House Pub and Grill in Uxbridge

Spending my Saturday in Uxbridge at an absolute gem of a spot Corner House Pub & Grill. Kicking back with the legendary 3Rox pint, brewed just across the street at 2nd Wedge Brewing a true Canadian masterpiece. Pairing it with some of the best wings I ve ever tasted, and man, do I regret not snapping a pic! They re on special for basically half-price (or more!), and the flavor is out of this world. Seriously, check out their deals you won t believe how good they are. The vibe here? Absolutely unmatched. The servers are fantastic, and Julie is hands-down the best of the best. It s the perfect spot to chill, unwind, and soak in the good vibes. If you re in Uxbridge, this is the place to be!

I would highly suggest a booth because the hightables are like sitting in a toddlers highchair. I stand at 63 and my feet irritatingly dangled to no avail. Parking: I parked across the street and its got ample spots.

Excellent place to gather with friends.

Service was the longest we have ever waited at a restaurant. Only one person working and eventually another person started. We arrived at 12pm on a Saturday (today) to one server on. Next one arrived at 1. We waited a very long time to get asked for our order. My meal was wrong and cold. We were never checked on. My son and I sharing a drink because no one came back to us to check on us so no refills. We were given the wrong bill that my Mom paid. It was double the amount. It took forever to figure out a refund. She called the manager on her cell phone right in front of us to try and figure out how to do a refund and the manager had no idea. We were offered nothing for all these mistakes and my kids didn t get the ice cream their meal is suppose to come with. The server just plopped down a toy bin in front of us and walked away. We remained kind and patient the entire time as we know we weren t the only upset customers. Our first and last time going to this restaurant.

My wife and I just had a great lunch at the Corner House Pub and Grill thanks to Destiny. She gave us top-notch service from the moment we sat down, greeting us with a big smile and making us feel right at home. She told us about all the lunch specials and even gave us some great recommendations. Destiny was always there when we needed her, making sure our drinks were never empty. Absolutely the best service the pretty girl who served us I forgot her name now a very different name was awesome a very outstanding woman and polite enjoys her job. food is usually always really good when I visit the corner house, the wings are especially really delicious and most of the time I am not disappointed. the corner house is a good place to dine at, and I would most definitely recommend for anyone local in Uxbridge wanting a really good pub dinner. However, when I went last night I had to wait for 30+ minutes after asking for the bill and a to-go box. it was an average amount of busy for a Tuesday night especially because of the wings deal, but our server was never in sight for most of the meal and it was getting late, yet we were still sitting there with our wings on our plates waiting to even know our total. I definitely understand being busy, but I just think in the future the guests shouldn t really be forgotten about for that long.

Just had dinner, served by Chelsea. By far the best service we ve had in a very long time anywhere. Food was delicious. Two of us had Marsala chicken it was amazing. Guys had wings and a burger. Both loved them. Will be back again for sure!

Was pleasantly surprised but how great the food was here! I had the Chef Burger with onion rings and my friend had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and we both loved our meals! The burger was huge and the topping were amazing, as well the onion rings were spot on! Also not to mention it is pretty reasonably priced! Can t wait to come back!

This place used to be fantastic and had great food And service. In the past 9 months it has drastically gone down hill. The food was very bland and not cooked properly. The waitress was very absent from Ordering or checking in just spent her time trash talking other customers while hanging out in the kitchen. When asked for a refill half way through the meal she brought us our bill 30 minutes later before the refill and still charged us for a refill after the meal was finished. What used to be a great sit in sport abar has turned to poo.

Ordered take out for our first time trying this pub, holy smokes!... I had the Crispy Honey Tortilla Chicken Salad, it was probably the freshest, best quality salad I ve had in a LONG time from all of the surrounding areas. (Pefferlaw, Sutton, Cannington, Beaverton, etc). Chicken was juicy, had so much flavour and had a good amount. Tons of fresh veggies. And don t even get me started on the honey tortillas... I could eat an entire bowl of just them! Boyfriend had the Peppercorn Crispy Chicken. Great serving size for takeout. Chicken was juicy, well seasoned, and a nice size for the price. Tons of mixed cooked veggies (the good kinds to, not just beans and corn, ex it had: zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots) well seasoned, grilled to perfection! The mash Also ordered the California chicken sandwich (not in pic). Huge. Fresh toppings. Yummy! Only gave 4 stars because we haven t dined in so cannot rate for that portion of experience yet. Keep up the good work guys, we will be back!

Service and food have been amazing the last few times Ive been.

My friend and I were shown to a booth by a window on a dreary March Saturday afternoon. Our server was prompt and courteous. My friend said her omelet was delicious; it was served with mixed greens, thick toast and crispy potatoes. I had well-cooked chicken souvlaki and a fresh Greek salad. It was the perfect spot to have a pint and visit with a friend.

Wow what a hidden gem. The cook clearly take s great pride in their craft. I had eggs Benny and my girlfriend had eggs and bacon. Both came with a fresh salad and the potatoes were stellar. If you re looking for a great breakfast spot and the prices were more than reasonable.

Easily one of the best burgers I ate in a long time. The fries were just delicious, you have to eat them while they are hot. Our waitress was very friendly and added to the nice atmosphere of this place. Very reasonable pricing too! I definitely would recumbent this place.

Horrible place. We came in with our dog and asked if we could sit on the patio. Got seated and ordered drinks. Ten minutes later another staff comes up to us and tells us that dogs are not allowed on the patio and that we have to tie him outside or leave. Worst experience.

NOT PET FRIENDLY. Asked for a table of 2 with a dog, got seated and 10 minutes later, the supervisor or whatever, came and asked us to leave or tie it outside. A trash of a place.

Last year we regularly ate here on the patio with our mini husky, always great service and food. Yesterday we were told dogs are no longer allowed on the patio - they tried to cite laws or something but that s just not true. Ontario law allows dogs on patios. It s all up to the owner and management whether they allow dogs or not. We ended up at Boston Pizza who happily seated us on their patio

Found a peice of chicken in my vegetarian dish. I just wanted to point t out to the workers to let them know. I didnt ask for a discount or a new dish but the kitchen still made a point to try to tell me it wasnt chicken. It was very clearly chicken and different than the pasta I had ordered. Server was kind, I just wish there was a better response to the error especially when I wasnt asking for any type of compensation. Vegetarian options: Kitchen refused to acknowledge the chicken in my pasta.

We had lunch here and it was delicious, and they had 1/2 price cake ! So of course, carrot cake was my choice. So good ! Our waitress Chelsea was very pleasant and has the nicest smile ! Chelsea is so nice, so tip big ! Parking: Must park on street, but 2 hours are free.

Really nice little spot. Service was a touch slow but the food was worth the wait. We had: Tomato bisque Bed fajita wrap Greek salad Bruschetta Steak Incredibly flavourful and good portion sizes. The atmosphere is part pub, part sports bar - nothing fancy. Would definitely recommend and will return.

We came in tonight during a birthday party. The restaurant was packed. Martina was our waitress and served us on the patio. To say her service was excellent would be an understatement. From the beginning she was very attentive and so funny and kind. This was our first time at the corner house and we will definitely be back. Thanks Martina for your amazing service! You made our night a great one.

here once before and was very good, but today the pancakes needed the steak knife to cut, the pizza bottom crust hard to chew, and neither of us could eat the turkey soup, the level of pepper in it made it un-edible. server didnt even question 2 bowls of soup almost untouched.

The first time I came to uxbridge to look at houses I went to corner house. The service I received from Martina was amazing. In all honesty, having met her that day helped me decide that uxbridge was for me. Over the past 5 years my family and I have become frequent visitors. Food is consistently good. Luckily Martina is still here and her constant positive attitude makes us look forward to each visit. Even if you are just passing through, and I hope you are cause we re full, stop at corner house. You will not be disappointed!!!

My favourite gathering place in Uxbridge, by far. Chelsea always has the warmest smile, but all of the staff are excellent. If Uxbridge had a Cheers pub, this would be it!

Indian dishes here are very tasty, and can be spiced to your preference. Fair warning: extra spicy here is really extra spicy! Had the butter chicken off the Winter Menu and it was delicious. Did not catch our servers name, but she was excellent, very friendly and attentive. Well done.

We ordered 4 meals and 2 starters for a family dinner. The fish / chips and the crispy honey tortilla chicken salad were good but the 2 chicken souvlaki dinners were a big disappointment. The chicken was tasty but I was really disappointed with the way it came with basmati rice and deep fried potato wedges instead of proper greek potatoes and rice. Won t be ordering that again.

The Perogie appetizer was delicious. It has almost been a week since we ate there and Im still thinking about those Perogies. Yummy!!! Too bad we live so far away.

Amazing food and service. Everyone loved their meals. The wings we re meaty, perfectly cooked and some of the best we have ever had. My dad LOVED his ribs. The mushroom chicken masala was huge and mouth watering, as was the chicken in a peppercorn sauce. I would highly recommend this place.

Tasty wings with good variety of flavours, other foods that customers ordered also looked and smelled tasty. Pint of beer and pound of wings, with a side was a great deal for an afternoon meal on the patio. Friendly staff and quick service after ordering. Location was far enough away from the street to not be a noise issue. Quiet location but busy restaurant. Will come back when Im in the area again.

Ordered their food...it came missing fries and wings, and the rest of the food came cold. I called them to bring the rest and they asked me to pick it up. After eventually having them come and bring it an hour later they still forgot the food that I ordered. Very disappointing!

Our lunch was very tasty and reasonably priced. Only one wait staff on duty but she was doing the best she could. Unfortunately we sat in a booth next to a couple that were clearly intoxicated and rather loud, so not the best atmosphere.

Our family decided to give Corner House Pub in Uxbridge a try tonight. My son had the Fish and chips which he loved. The only option is haddock, but my picky boy enjoyed it. My husband had the meat lovers pizza which he thought was delicious and a great price! I had the beef brisket with Yorkshire pudding. The mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables were great! The beef itself was just thinly sliced almost deli styled beef. It was just ok and I probably wouldnt order that again. It would be nice to see roast beef (thick cut) or meatloaf on the menu as well For dessert, we had the deep fried Mars bars. You get two on a plate along with a scoop of ice cream and Whip cream. It was FANTASTIC! Overall, we will definitely be coming back again!

Staff is very friendly and nice. Their daily specials are really good for the price! Even the patrons are super nice and talkative which makes for a pleasant and relaxed dining experience.

Wanted to order some Nachos, was told with tax, tip and delivery charge it would be about $25 , needledd to say I didnt order Have eaten at the restaurant several times now. Great menu and sercice. If youre thinking of going, dont. Loud and they are not verifying vaccine status. They are a bar. Understaffed and the servers, though nice, are not well trained. Order the Prime Rib and advised them no salt, but that didnt stop the cook from killing the gravy and overcooking the meat. I sent it back with specific instructions not to cook past medium rare. It came back and the thing was over salted. Made me sick. Another of our party order the chicken breast sandwich, and when she got it, the chicken breast was breaded. Cheap frozen food thawed and servers over cooked. If you want a good meal, avoid this place.

Stopped here from out of town after visiting the Christmas market. Relaxed pub atmosphere, waitress was lovely, and all of the food was so yummy! My 12 year old said their burger was the best restaurant burger theyd ever had. Cant get much better than that!

I have never received such rude and unprofessional customer service from a restaurant. Being located in a small town it is nice to be able to support local businesses. Unfortunately after tonights experience I dont think this is a local business we will support again. After receiving an order of nearly $100 we sat down for our meal and noticed one of the items was incorrect. We called and spoke to a manager in hopes to have it corrected. We were happy to drive out and return the incorrect order in place of the correct one. When we called to discuss this, the manager was extremely rude. He indicated that the order he made (listed on the receipt the restaurant provided) was what we ordered. We expressed that this was not the case and were happy to show the order history we had proving this error. He claimed that it didnt matter we had proof of our order that he was right. He then continued to laugh at us over the phone when we expressed our disappointment. We understand that mistakes and mix ups happen. That is life. However, to be blatantly spoken down to and laughed at by an establishment manager is unacceptable. Even if the order couldnt be fixed kindness and an apology would have went a long way compared to rude communications and laughter. Now we are not only out of money for an incorrect meal but we are left extremely frustrated at the diminishing way we were spoken to. This is not the first issue with custom service we have faced at this restaurant. This tends to be a frequent downfall here but expressed concerns were always positively resolved by the management team. Apparently this is no longer the case at this restaurant. My recommendation is if you are looking for a restaurant with a staff that is going to make your meal an enjoyable experience frequent one of Uxbridges other local restaurants instead.

Fantastic morning ceasar!.. the food was delicious and the owner and staff made us feel at home. :)
