Excellent venue, dog friendly, fair pricing, very clean but, most importantly, brilliant staff. Friendly, helpful staff made the visit memorable (special shout out to Maria who ensured our dog, Chester, had water).

I frequent The Kite Restaurant Bar and have consistently had a wonderful experience. The staff is exceptionally kind and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. The food is delightful, and the beautiful decor adds to the overall charm of the place. Saturday evenings at The Kite are particularly enchanting, with amazing music and a vibrant atmosphere. Sitting outside with a refreshing drink always proves to be a great experience, offering a lovely ambiance. Additionally, the friendly clientele at the bar adds to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend The Kite for a delightful dining and socialising experience.
Lovely peaceful place . The food was really nice and the whole place had a good vibe.
I went for lunch with two friends and ordered fish and chips. It was really poor quality. The fish was wafer thin stuck to tough skin, so it was mostly batter.The chips were hard too. Nor worth £12 at all . This is our regular meeting venue, but as the food quantity has deteriorated will hunt for new venue.
I have eaten here many times. Mainly on a Sunday for the carvery. Sadly, today 7 of us were looking forward to a lovely roast dinner. Limited vegetable selection, very rude chef serving, got told off for having too many sausages ( stingy on the meat). He commented that only 2 was permitted and that we should pay more. And no roast potatoes. At 3pm? Our table was reserved for then and the carvery was open until 4pm. We did complain to the manager, he was great but I’m not sure what influence he actually has on the catering staff. What a shame. This has been a weekly treat and family get together for a long time and we do spend a lot of money here. But no more, this has happened before and we will go elsewhere!!!

Service was slow.. veg lasagne was cold a d child like portion waited.over for coke and dessert.. Was very disappointed for a Sunday afternoon
Nice place for a meet up with food and drink. Stayed here in the village recently and been back. Great entertainment at the weekends. Karaoke yesterday which went down really well. Great team behind the bar, makes your visit more enjoyable for sure.

Went to lunch here yesterday with a group of friends. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely and very welcoming, cannot speak highly enough of them. Will definitely be coming back here. Good value for money.

Food was of an acceptable level. Like an old folks home with a pub. Grumpy buffet server didnt help the hospital feel.

Had a meal with family on Sunday 26th May . The male chef was so rude throwing the plate to you, didn t serve much meat to my sister gave her tiny bit . Then they ran out of roast potatoes my other sister had to order something else and was looking forward to her roast . I won t be eating there again why he s there . He was miserable very rude man needs to be sacked . The bar staff and waitresses are lovely .and helpful. We did complain but I doubt much will happen . My family spend lots of money in there to be insulted by s chef really isn t good for there business . Sadly this is not the first time that the chef has been rude to us .

Breakfast is good but not amazing so the price should reflect this! £20 for 2 people for breakfast! I think thats why we were the only 2 customers, there was at least 5 staff.
Lovely clean area. We were there for a family function. Catering was excellent
