To be honest, Im dumbfounded by the number of very glowing reviews on the quality of food. When it first opened, this was maybe the case, but over the past year the consistency in the quality has taken a huge downturn in each of my visits. Examples include stale chips and pita with the buffalo dip and meals that are warn rather than hot. Clearly this is a fav spot in the town and I get it, the atmosphere is fun. Im happy for those that continue to enjoy it but for me, Id rather see a MUCH smaller menu *consistently* delivered.

Went there for dinner with seven people and they were very accomodating with our reservation on a busy evening. Service was alright, they were busy so it was a bit slow though the food was done pretty quickly. The waitress was very nice. I had the fish and chips which was lots of food though the fish was a bit greasy for myself. Others at our table got the pad thai, chicken souvlaki, and macaroni and cheese. Everyone liked their dishes especially the macaroni and cheese.

This is a new post, updated from a year ago. While we love dining in, and have had such wonderful experiences with the wait staff, we had covid, and were unable to come in. When I saw there was curbside pickup, I was happy to place an online order. Perfect! I could drive up, open the hatch, have the food put in, and go. No contact! When I got there and called in, I was told there was no curbside pickup. The restaurant needs to change this information to in-store pickup. Big difference. I had to put on a mask, and go in, keeping my distance. The poor hostess said she didnt even know there was curbside pickup. When I got the food home, it was understandably cool, but my husbands brussels sprouts were still good. My coconut shrimp were another matter. Very overdone, and would have been in worse shape if I had warmed them up. We learned that Halloumi fries are not a good choice for take-out. Our neighbour warned up that take-out was not good, but we certainly learned for ourselves. All-in-all, disappointed. Parking: No curbside pickup.

Well this was the second time I have gone to this restaurant the first time I just ordered a Quesadilla it was ok nothing special so yesterday my daughter turned 16 and wanted to go she has never been so we went while eating our appetizers the hostess came over and asked if she could take the 2 chairs that no one was using at ok no big deal then when we got our dinner in the middle of eating we were then asked if we can move our table down because they need the room for other people so then I we got interrupted again while eating to move our table down and they forgot to give us one of other appetizers and brought it with our meal I got the Chicken slavaki the rice I am almost sure it was uncle Bens microwave rice and my chicken was over cooked very dry will not spend my money there again

We came here late and hungry and were not disappointed. There is so much choice on the menunthat we all had several.options. The food came quickly and was piping hot and fresh. We had fish and chips, baked lobster penne, and the Diablo smash burger. All were excellent. The server was attentive and friendly.

Our new favourite restaurant in Uxbridge!! Been there handfuls of times and not yet disappointed. The food is absolutely amazing, Im a big fan of the braised beef mac and cheese - mouthwatering. Went on Mothers Day and enjoyed the special touch of a single rose for Moms as well as the custom well designed Mothers Day Menu! The atmosphere is very well lit, and very comforting. Staff have always been pleasant and the owners are involved as well. Such a pleasure to see in business! This is our go to spot for any meet up in Uxbridge, and overall local dining choice!

I like this place. Ive been coming for a few years. Good portions, good atmosphere. They must be under new management, because the quality of the food and service has changed. Baked potato came out almost naked. Just had steamed carrot on it. Steak was cooked to taste, but thats only half the plate. No sour cream? Green onion? Bacon bits? Felt a bit off. Fajitas portion size changed as well. There are menu items that the staff told us not to get because its gross. Why is it on the menu then? Did not have that experience before. Kind if makes me worry about the kitchen. Might have to look elsewhere if you want a plate of confidence. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, but not a lot of activities.

Came here again with my parents. It was great! Our server, I believe Holly was amazing. She was so attentive and great. We got margaritas and lasagna. We just went for drinks but decided to share a meal just because. It was so good!

Amazing service on a busy friday night. We arrived without reservations but were offered a spot on the patio until a table was ready. Within 5 mins we had drinks and apps on order and by the time they arrived we were ushered inside for a warmer spot at a private booth. Food quality was the best Ive had in months. Chicken and sauce was perfection and the long Island iced tea was the perfect compliment The menu has so many options we must come back soon to try more unique dishes!

A friend and I went to the one eyed jacks in Uxbridge mid day just to hang out for a while. We got there and waited a couple minutes at the front with another bigger family waiting as well. There were so many tables available and so many servers just walking around. We finally sat. And wanted to order. We got margaritas to start. And when they came, they were dripping so much on the table, to the point our table got pretty messy. Then we ordered food. Got some apps. The potato skins, which were good, calamari, which was extremely chewy and they forgot to give us the sauce for it, and we had to ask for it, and the chicken bites which were good, but didn t come out for a long time, and again had to ask for it. Finally when we asked for the chicken bites, the server tells us, I did put in the order of the chicken bites but the kitchen for got to make it. Just want to let you know, it s not my fault . I thought it was kinda odd how she mentioned it like that, but anyway, it came out. And also pretty dry. Overall service could ve definitely been better. I have been to this location many times before, and had great times there. So a little disappointed when I experienced this. Parking: Lots of spots. Small parking lot but not too busy.

Ordered the chicken fajitas. The toppings came out 10 minutes before the actual chicken skillet. The peppers and onions in the skillet were burnt to a crisp, and the chicken was so tough it was close to inedible. The shredded cheese was clumped, the lettuce was brown, the rice was cold. All around pretty disappointing for being the special of the day.

Been here twice. Everyone enjoyed the food and there was an extensive menu. The individual service overall was very good, one star removed because we had a small problem each time. The first time there was a billing error and we were overcharged. Second time we made reservations over the phone and specifically asked for seating to watch a sports game only to be told when we arrived there was an error and we had to be seated elsewhere.

The food is incredible! My friend and I had my birthday lunch here and Nick was wonderful! The seafood deluxe, the feta brushetta and the coconut shrimp were TO DIE FOR! Love the small town atmosphere and the service. The portions are MASSIVE!

This is a great restaurant in Uxbridge. It was our first time going and we will definitely go back again. The food was amazing and very generous portions. The restaurant does not look that large when you first go in, but when you go to the back of the restaurant there is another large area. The meals we ordered were a beef dip with onion rings on the side. The sandwich itself was stacked very high, and there was a full portion of onion rings that were freshly made. My husband had a bison burger with sweet potato fries and his order was quite generous as well. The sweet potato fries were also very fresh and cooked to perfection. Our daughter ordered a burger with fries on the side. Again a generous portion and the fries were delicious as well. We are looking forward to going back and trying something else from the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant. We called to make a reservation and the gal we spoke to said if we are there around 530 we were good with no reservation. While we were there it got busier and busier, so I suggest if you are going for 6 or later a reservation would be required. Parking: The parking lot is not the greatest. The restaurant is in a plaza that shares parking with the other places in the plaza. The parking is tight and a bit crazy, but we managed to get a spot. I really have to say the parking could be better, there are a lot of places in the plaza that share the parking and I dont think they thought of that when they put the plaza in.

Walked in and all i could smell was fish. Why..... What is wrong with your water.. either get it tested or get a filter. Our Food was absolutely gross. Four people at a tall table that isnt big enough for drinks. 2 apps were ordered a chicken thai and potato skins= potato skins had to go back cause they were made incorrectly. But we asked that our meals come out after cause there was no room. A different server repeatedly kept coming to ask if we were ready for our meal. While we were eating the apps. One ordered 2lbs of wings = hair in it gross. Had to find the non present server to have the plate removed from the table. When they came out you can tell the fryer isnt hot enough cause it oozed grease. But at least they came out fast. One ordered a southern fried chicken sandwich and onion rings= the chicken tasted like it was over deep fried and oozed grease onion rings were great. One ordered The turkey club but lacked flavor. I had the roast beef stuffed yorkshire pudding= the yorkshire pudding was huge but was so over cook and burnt that the only moisture in it was from the gravy smothered roast beef ... which was sliced paper thin luncheon meat and one mushroom. Would you go back. The waitress seemed unbothered like it was a regular occurrence. The manager was told but never came to the table.

Honestly I ve eaten here 4 times now, I ordered the pad thai twice because it was soooo good! Never dissapointed with that but my boyfriend tried the softshell crab sandwhich and it was actually as if the crab was rotten You can t serve people seafood thats gone bad! He had to send it right back and we ve never done that. I feel like theres some really good food but the menu is wayyyy too big. Its so unrealistic for a restaurant to keep up with that. The service is always great and its a nice place to get a drink but watch what you order.

The menu is really huge, offering many different types of cuisine. I ordered off of the holiday menu, starting with an Italian wedding soup for $9, which was a few bucks more than the regular soup du jour. The soup came in a small bowl with a packet of crackers. It consisted of a chicken broth with diced carrots. I found 2 small chunks of ground meat as well. I ate it, but I let our server know it wasnt wedding soup. I still got charged for wedding soup though. I had a lobster pasta for my main. The pasta was decent with lots of toppings. There were 2 sea scallops and a generously sized rock lobster tail. The seafood was flavorless and the lobster was texture was limp. My wife got a reuben sandwich that was very soggy on the bottom. Overall we just didnt enjoy the food.

Crazy busy here tonight! I don t know how they manage to process so many tables seamlessly. I thought we would have a big wait but we were seated quickly. My Thai dish was my amazing. Our server Brittney was very efficient. I would highly recommend One Eyed Jacks!!!

While the service was wonderful and atmoshere was fine I have to rate 1 because they dont offer gluten free hamburger buns. I had my heart set on a burger. How disapointing to find it was not an option. Apparently the owner has been advised of the request for GF buns but chooses to ignore them. I get it, there may not be a huge demand but how hard is it to have a bag in the freezer and warm it when a customer cant eat regular bun? My family will eat elsewhere in the future.

A bunch of us stopped in after a hockey game. We had pitchers of beer, sizzling fajitas and some other stuff. Waitress was great. Food was good, especially since we were in just before closing.

We decided to go out for a Valentine s dinner and chose this restaurant based on the positive reviews and a recent recommendation. Although our server was wonderful, the food was a huge disappointment! We started with two appetizers and both were bland and soggy. We then thought, maybe its just the two we chose and our dinner selections would be good. This was not the case at all:( My spouse had a smashed burger, which appeared to be from a package and I had a special pasta that was also a let down, which had more jalapeños then it did anything else in it:( We had high hopes and drove to Uxbridge simply to visit this particular restaurant, only to leave very unsatisfied. I have had a variety of appetizers and dinners and all have ranged from very good to excellent! (The potato skins will visit you in your dreams). Service has always been good and accommodating. I have had Brittany a few times and she is a wonderful server. The atmosphere is typical pub but there is always a positive vibe amongst the staff and patrons. I was pretty excited to try this place for lunch with a friend. While lthe menu is impressive, there can be something said for too many choices. Right away trouble with the drink order. I ordered a coke zero the waitress came back and said they were out. Went with regular coke. Ordered a steak melt, medium well. My friend orrdered a wrap. My steak sandwich was disatisfying. The steak was way overcooked and not a very good cut. Lots of gristle. The bun was way too hard and there was very little cheese or toppings. I tried to eat it, but way too dry. I had to go amd ask the waitress for hp sauce since she hadnt checked back on our table since serving the meal. Hp didnt help much. I left almost half the sandwich. The fries were just as overdone. Hard, brttle and definitely was not fresh. Eventhough they only charged me for half the meal, I wouldve preferred to have a meal I could enjoy. Sorry wont be going back.

Service was great, food was dreadful. Ordered steak and shrimp and got a piece of over cooked shoe leather and a couple of fried cocktail shrimp that were advertised as tiger shrimp. Mashed potatoes almost seemed like boxed mashed potatoes. Wife got a burger that was some generic frozen burger that is clearly cooked on the same grill as everything as it smelled and tasted like fish. Received what appeared to be taco bell frozen French fries. I mean a pub that cant do a homemade burger and french fries is crazy. The most bonkers part of all was the gluten free menu, which is nice that it is offered, but if all of the food is cooked on the same grill its no longer gluten free. If they are boxed mashed potatoes, those are generally not gluten free. Waitress was nice enough to make a note regarding the need for gluten free, but I highly doubt the kitchen staff follows that. As for how this this place has a 4.7 star rating is beyond me if all the food comes out of the kitchen like that. Would not return, would much rather drive 40 minutes out of my way to go to a good restaurant.

We order from here quite often. As long as you order exactly whats on the menu, youre ok. Ask to leave an item off or change something minor and its over. Im allergic to dill pickles, this time, there was half a slice of one under my burger and the bun was soaked with pickle juice. So that went in the garbage. Last time, I got some kind of spicy hot sauce on my burger that they had tried to scrape off but werent successful. Expensive restaurant for families and every time we get it, theres something very wrong with what we receive. One of us usually is missing their side dish. We keep giving them one more try as some of us like what does arrive. Im fed up spending big money for 5 people and someone always being upset. If you put something on a burger and then need to remove it, you need to use a new bun! Its dangerous with allergies to just use the same bun. More attention to details would be appreciated by paying customers.

Weve been coming to this place every Tuesday for almost a year, but our last 3 visits have been terrible. Today, our waitress never brought us our fries that we ordered, never brought us plates, and had to ask her twice to bring us our refill. This is pretty much on par with every other time weve got her as a sever as well. Were done here, its not worth the risk of getting her as a server anymore. She shouldnt be working here.

Always have great food and great service at this location. Lobster mac and cheese is a favourite of ours, and the halloumi fries. Glad to have so many good options on the menu.

Nice pub style atmosphere with a really good selection on the menu to suit everyones taste. Brittney was very friendly and provided great service. Will definitely be back.

Reserved a table for 7 plus 2 high chairs 4 hrs before our arrival. Got there and seated on time, only problem no high chairs. They gave the only two high chairs they had to the people seated before us. So much for reservations. Needless to say, we left and went up the road to swiss chalet. Suggestion, maybe get some more highchairs.

First time visit the other day for lunch with some colleagues. The place overall was nice. Service was very friendly and efficient. My colleagues food looked great, but my only regret was ordering the burger which was 5/10. Not the worst burger but dry and not really full of flavour. Certainly didn t taste like freshly made patties if they were. As mentioned above though, my colleagues lunches looked fantastic so likely I just picked the wrong item on the menu. Will try again.

Had dinner there tonight and it was aweful. The calamari appetizer was so chewy, very poor quality. My husbands dinner was terrible, he ordered the grilled tapas and the salad hardly had any dressing on it, the chicken was super dry, the squid was inedible and no tzatziki sauce as advertised. I had the beef tenderloin Philly sandwich and it had barely any meat on it, huge chunks of mozzarella cheese and half onions, no peppers and I couldnt even eat it as a sandwich the bun was so mushy it fell apart. The gravy tasted burnt and super salty, I couldnt even eat my fries because my appetite was ruined. I would have loved to address our experience with our waitress who only came 3 times. Once to take our drink order, then our meal requests and then our bill. With 3/4 of our meals left on our plates she didnt ask how everything was, didnt offer a takeout container (which I would have declined and spoke up about our meals) just cleared our table and gave us the bill. Its really sad, we have frequented often and its been good...cant say the same for tonights experience. Very dissatisfied.

Had the Spicy Chicken Stir Fry and chicken tenders with sweet potato fries. Stir fry was very good, portion was great. Tenders were overcooked and a bit dried out, seemed like frozen chicken strips, had to ask for plum sauce but the sweet potato fries were very good. One suggestion would be to be a bit more detailed in cleanliness of washrooms, as the silver unit in front of toilet was in need of a good cleaning as well as the floors.
