Nice tiny place! Good and service

Just finished eating and having coffee at Tin, very impressed and happy. They were very accomodating to my requests (picky ones), the food was so good and fresh - arguably the best BLT I have had... Amazing coffee as well. We will be back. Food : 5/5

Very nice place to take coffee and tea

Visited with my friend as she had mentioned it quite a bit. We went in for coffee, we both ordered a mocha and I got a muffin. The muffin was good but nothing extraordinary. The mocha was akin to hot chocolate which personally was not for me and did not taste remotely like espresso.

Don is WONDERFUL! The food is INCREDIBLE! Amazing Gluten Free options and BY FAR THE BEST Bruschetta Ive EVER had! What an amazing hidden gem in Uxbridge!!!

TIN catered a small wedding on very little notice, and really pulled through for us! The food was perfect, everyone with dietary restrictions had a variety of options. We had the perfect amount of food, with welcomed leftovers. The staff was so lovely to work with. Thank you TIN!

Lovely hangout, well-liked in Uxbridge, outdoor patio a beauty spot.

Just had a coffee and bagel, but it was among the best of coffee I ve had and I drink a lot of coffee. Top that off with what is the friendliest, cheerful staff you can find anywhere, and this super cozy little cafe is the perfect spot to relax by yourself or with a friend!

The place has amazing muffins, carrot cake, and sandwiches, its cozy place with very friendly staff excellent service, value for money. highly recommended Vegetarian options: Delicious

Really slow service and not worth the money. Somehow I paid 28$ for a burger and fries and it wasnt worth it, just average taste. The people were kind but they told us we can have a carrot cake on the house since we were coming all the way from Oakville, and at the end charged us for it... Weird how good the reviews are, I dont think its worth the money.

The service was great and the waitstaff was very friendly. That being said, the food simply does not taste that good for the price we paid (close to $60 for a pizza and a bowl of pasta including tip). I guess were way too spoiled by Italian restaurants in bigger cities.

Had lunch, food was ok bit pricey especially for panini which was not very flavourful unfortunately. Used to love the Tin Mill the Tin Caffe not close.

Ive not been in The Tin before. Thought Id try it out. Excellent lattes & muffins. Its a very small space, 1/2 dozen tables. Parking is a bit tricky, seeing as its located on the busy main street. Not wheelchair friendly. Might check out the lunch menu next time though.

WOW!!! Rarely seen such amazing customer service. A host (the owner) so genuinely friendly and personable. Our server (more like a friend) that listens and is so attentive to detail. The food was literally out of this world and the best since in Italy. We will be back and the atmosphere was cozy and charming.

Space was quite small. Went for a lunch. Servers were very friendly. I found that the quality of food vs price didnt really add up. Spent $35 for a tea latte, sandwich and salad. The sandwich was pre-made and pulled out of a refrigerator.

Just had Tin restaurant take out with my wife. Super friendly staff working there and the food was amazing Mediterranean chicken pizza, fish tacos and a Caesar salad. Worth every penny thank you for an amazing dinner. Can t wait to dine in one night.

The lady helping us when we got there was very rude from beginning to end. My 2 girlfriends and I just ignored it because we didnt want to let it ruin our lunch (it was one of my friends birthday). But what really ruined the experience later was finding a long grey/blond hair in my sandwich. We just lost our appetites and left as soon as we could. The younger server was sweet and we appreciated her apology..by then, of course, the other lady was nowhere to be seen. I do not recommend this place at all.

Provides outdoor patio but is on a very noisy street. Proprietor seemed a little gruff as if we were interrupting his day. Parking: Free parking.

Catered even for 50 people. It went off flawlessly. Not only was the food delicious it was labelled with complete heating instructions and came with extra serving platters. That was a detailed nice touch. The desserts were the bomb. This restaurant is renowned for its pineapple, carrot cake. Its a must for your summer events. I dont know how they pull this off. Lovedddd this place!! I can not say it enough, the pasta and pizza were amazing. The tacos were a delicious app choice. I can not wait to go back. Definitely worth the day trip to this little spot!

Good service, good food

This is hands down our favourite restaurant in Durham Region! They are so friendly and warm, and every meal weve had from TIN has been delicious. Today I had the hamburger, and it was so thick, juicy and full of taste that I honestly didnt want it to end. Keep being awesome!! Cant wait for patio season to open up!

I went to the TIN Restaurant for a lunch on my birthday and it was a great experience. I ordered a Pesto-chicken pizza, my dad ordered a pepperoni pizza and soup, and my mom ordered chicken-salad wrap and a salad. All of us enjoyed our food. We all have celiac disease so it is sometimes difficult to find a good restaurant for lunch. If you have celiac disease, this is a great place to go for lunch. Overall, this is probably my favorite restaurant and I definitely reccomend it to anyone who is looking to eat out for lunch or dinner.

Gluten free options and delicious food. Ordering is a little awkward (downstairs) but the brick finishes and coy atmosphere are perfect for light lunch or coffee and dessert.

I have been coming to this café off an on for some time now. At my recent visit, I ordered a ginger cookie and some Biscotti. The cookie was rock hard and staled as was the Biscotti. In the past these items were very soft and fresh and it looks like the current stock should be tossed and not sold. What a waste of time and money!

Lovely quiet spot for a cappuccino.

Warm and cozy. The perfect place for a coffee and a muffin or cookie. In the evening it turns into a restaurant serving delicious dishes. I had the wings as a starter and then the beef noodles as a main. Yummy!

Best lunch spot cafe in Uxbridge. Easy to pop in quickly and grab some of the yummiest food in town. My favourites include the meatloaf panini, the chicken salad and the Caesar. They also have great coffee.

Hit with a downpour, and the staff were so kind and accommodating. Also, they dont skimp on the cheese. Amazing.

We decided to eat out in the patio just prior to a huge thunderstorm. (Im not known for my wise decisions.) Staff ran out to save us and our food from getting soaked when our decisions left us in a huge sudden downpour. Pizza was still phenomenal. Great staff, great food.

It is notable for people on keto like me plus it has no wifi. Also the soup is to hot to eat and it takes for ever for the food to come out and it is very expensive. Would not recommend it is not really for causul dining.

The soup, delicious! They need urgently an industrial exhaust fan: all of us smelled like a walking bacons, I had to put ALL my clothes in the laundry right away.

4 of us went in the summer (sadly never got to the falls location as I live in TO). Had the BEST TIME. Sat at a seriously comfortable little oasis street patio. Shared a ton of laughs w/ owner, Don and server extraordinaire, Caroline. Thoroughly enjoyed our large tasty specials and WOW the home made desserts YUMMY! Had no room left for dessert (but found some! grin). DEFINITELY GOING BACK. Friends have already been by and were warmly remembered by Don and Caroline. Wish I Iived in Uxbridge so could go all the time. The Cafe is dark wood warm, cozy, stay awhile, clean w/ cool artists canvases. Cant wait for CV-19 to be over so can pop in. For now take out it is! Youll want to go again and again to enjoy the food, share a laugh and scarf the dessert! Highly recommend. Don and Caroline see u in Feb. (next up from TO). Happy Holidays!!

Absolutely fantastic! Every staff member was just wonderful, and the food was delicious. Meat that melted and vegetables done to perfection! Also, dont skip out on the garlic bread. Quite tasty as well! Cant wait to go back!

The venue is really nice. The service was great! The food was good. Im pretty picky because Im an awesome cook myself. The vegetables and sauce for my main course were really good. The trout was a bit dry. (Still tasty) I would go again.

Just when for dinner with family , I had calamari was not fresh it was frozen, i had caesar salad, not mix properly bacon bits over cook too crispy,didnt taste anchovies in the dressing. I had the duck for main course too small portion for that price and sauce i tasted the flour big mistake as a chef. Creme brulee. The custard too thick i also didnt taste the vanilla and too big portion

A great spot with lots of history. Very good food and good value. Check out their specials !! They have a wonderful patio that is worth enjoying on a hot summers day as well.

One of the top places to eat in Uxbridge. Highly recommended. Worth the trek into Uxbridge for a date night.

This was an absolutely great place to dine. It was friendly with patio available . Had veggie sandwich which was just yummy. Added chicken but really could have done without chicken. Salad was great & cashew was wonderful. Desserts were devide. Highly recommended

This place is amazing! My friends and I would always come during lunch or after school. The atmosphere is so warm and cozy and it is a great place to hang out with friends or just to sit, drink coffee and get some work done. Staff is super friendly and sweet! I would definitely recommend the grilled chicken salad sandwich, absolutely delicious!

Nice location in Uxbridge. Craft beer was excellent! Nice patio at the side to unwind after work on a Friday. The food was average , like Kelseys quality, my chicken on the gnocchi was over cooked and my friends 6oz burger looked like 4oz and over cooked. The server was great and very attentive. The desert was rather disappointing. The chocolate brownie was more like a dense cake and not the nice rich chocolate I was expecting, and ice cream was mediocre. Thanks for the follow up on my review. My point with the desert is that the mousse was more like an ice cream. Not anywhere close to any mousse Ive had in the past. There is nothing unfair with an honest review of a first time through experince.

Really loved the atmosphere here, but did not enjoy being crammed into one small dining area with every other patron when there was another entire room open with empty tables. I understand that it s easier to group people together in one room for ease of service, but I was literally 10 inches away from the stranger sitting next to me. They overheard our entire conversation, and vice versa. Basically, don t go on a first date here unless you want to date the other 6 people at the table next to you. Edit - Appreciate the owner s response, and I understand that sometimes staffing issues don t allow for different rooms. We did ask to be moved, but our server said we couldn t. Was disappointing but what can you do.

The food here is delicious. The gnocchi is amazing and like nothing else weve had, definitely a stand out meal. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere inside. Overall great food and great service. The meals are expensive but you get a delicious dining experience.

Food was great...service left a lot to be desired. Waited 5 minutes to be seated, 3 people told us theyd be right with us. Finally someone pointed to a table, where we waited a few more minutes for our menus. I asked the server for ice water with lemon. I got no ice, no lemon. To her credit, the glass did have water in it, albeit warm, like the temperature outside!! My daughter asked twice for a glass of water, and kept being told no problem, when apparently it was!! Food took quite a while to get to us, but it was good. Wont go back based on poor service.

Excellent overall experience. Very warm and inviting atmosphere. Food and drink selection was outstanding as always, very unique meal choices and a great selection of local craft beer. Also very accommodating to young children, our server was great with them. Will most definitely be back again.

Food ok not outstanding.Price high. Not handycap acessable for me. No handycap parking spots. A maze to get in front door if you got dropped off in front. Handicap door not working. We made reservations but still needed. to re construct to get wheelchair up to table.

Great Patio lunch, great salads

The new, smaller location has grown on me. Coffee is now much better than when they first switched locations, and the selection of desserts seems to have improved too. So I have revised my earlier negative review.

Friendly service, great coffee, all in the heart of downtown Uxbridge. It is like sitting in your own living room and sharing a coffee with family and friends.

Great place for lunch or a specialty coffee or tea. They have gluten free items on their menu which was a real blessing. My wife & daughters have such a hard time finding someplace where they can find something to eat. The serving staff were wonderful. Cant wait to visit there again.

What a great experience at the Tin Mill Restaurant. A little gem in the heart of Uxbridge. Owners Don and Conrad are Outstanding. And their staff (reception, bar, wait, kitchen, dish and cleaning staff), I mean TEAM, is out of this World. A warm, friendly atmosphere captures you as soon as you walk in. Their knowledge of food and drinks and the history of the building are truly something to experience. I have been coming here for years and you will likely find me here at the bar every Friday night. Knowing them so well they tell me what I m ordering! And I hear them around me with the other Regulars already knowing what they drink and what they like. What a Special feeling. Very slow service, very unorganized, poor layout in general. Not impressed, staff was nice though.

Food was excellent, dessert was even better. Made fresh, high quality ingredients.

My husband and I had dinner here for our anniversary. Food was delicious - my husband enjoyed the tomato soup and thought the lamb chops were excellent, but would recommend asking for extra veggies rather than potatoes as they were a bit dry. I had the rainbow trout served with sautéed lentils and root vegetables. It was absolute perfection. Service was excellent! Thank you for a lovely meal...great value for money.
