Kid friendly! Nice atmosphere, food was good. Everything was reasonably priced. The dill dip is amazing....on anything! Will be back. Kid-friendliness: Had kid menus and activites for the kids to do.

Favourite restaurant in Uxbridge. Food is always good, the wait staff is courteous and helpful. With dietary restrictions they always help to make sure I can eat gluten free.

New to town and Found this place by sheer luck. Food was great portions were bigger than thought, service was good. When in UXBRIDGE again will definitely be dining at Wixans.

A totally mediocre dining experience. The food was barely warm and tasteless. The service was disingenuous at best. At $70, dinner (and no tip) was a major disappointment. We wont be back.

Had the Prime Rib special - absolutely great. UPDATE- left this review a couple weeks ago. Went back yesterday for our goto prime rib special and its been discontinued. Too bad. Its now much more like three other restaurants in Uxbridge. Still good food and great service, but more standard pub menu.

This is one of the better bars/restos in uxbridge. We ordered the fish and chips, wings, fries & ceaser. Everything was amazing, they have a lot of beers on tap. The service was super friendly and food came fast! We will det retur. Thnkx Wixan!

Food was good chicken club and chicken wings with fries. We were impressed with the service of the young man and lady running their butts off inside and out attending to customers and cleaning tables at the same time. Have to commend their hustle and great friendly service. A rarity with some of our young people working the food service.

Whent with friends for lunch. The menu, service and servings were excellent and reasonably priced. Would certainly go back and highly recommend it to others.

Lots of menu options including a lot of healthier choices. Staff was very pleasant.

James is such a a superb server. He covered everything and much more. Keep this guy, he had so much to do with our enjoyable visit.

I recently visited Wixans bridge and wanted to share my experience. While the waitstaff was wonderful and handled all the tables with grace and efficiency, it was evident that the management had not adequately staffed the restaurant for the weekend rush. It seemed like a lack of consideration for customers needs, as two waitresses had to manage the entire dining area. Regarding the food, we ordered the soup, Caesar salad, burger, steak, and mushroom pie. Unfortunately, none of the dishes had any flavor, and it was the most disappointing meal I ve ever had.

Enjoyed a nice lunch, as usual. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good pub food and a cold pint.

What an amazing place for a good meal/date: kind staff, great food and drinks, and good prices. Will go again :)

Food- ordered fish and chips , didnt taste good. Too greasy, fries didnt taste fresh. Fish is bland. All I taste is salt. My husband ordered chicken fingers and they didnt taste good either. Its not thoroughly cooked but they were very nice and recooked the fingers when we complained. The servers were very friendly and nice.

1st time in Uxbridge and picked this restaurant. Ist customers of the day and the staff was awesome but the food was horrible. Our server was advised how bad it was and not even an offer to remove from the bill. Tasted and looked like left overs and as other tables were served their food it looked fresh and tasty. The pizza with BBQ was strange and unpleasant. The chicken wrap was dried/hard chicken wilted lettuce little to no sauce and fries were cold and limp. Disappointed and 45 bucks wasted. Tried to email and not even a response.

We visited this place for the second time and were not disappointed.

Decided last minute to go out for a bite with my mother, stopped here at her suggestion. Apparently she loves the cedar plank salmon. I was going to have liver and onions but then I saw fajitas...immediately changed my mind and so glad I did. The fact that they have half and half (beef and chicken) was an even bigger draw. It was perfectly cooked and the caramelized onions, I was in heaven. Ate every bit of food and in my opinion the best fajitas in town. Now the topper to all this great food was James, pleasant and engaging from the moment we walked in. Made sure to check on us to see if we needed anything and was open to a little chit chat which made this a very pleasant experience to an otherwise very long stressful day. Definitely will be back

We just went to this restaurant randomly and it became one of our rare bad experiences in terms of the food quality and taste. There was nothing wrong with the place itself and services, the food was just not good. The ribs were not cooked correctly and tastes like an old forgotten food from the fridge. Hopefully they do something about it and maybe it was only our own bad experience.

Food was really great! The highlight was the lights in the bathroom were so cool! Fancy!

The reason I gave it a 3 was because of the online reservation system they use. I made the reservation, they had no record of it. Not sure why, but it kind of spoiled the outing for us. The food etc was good, it may be better to phone and make the reservation rather than do it on line.

Everything was delicious. I had the yorkshire pudding stuffed with roast beef and potatoes with gravy, so yummy I cant wait to back

Always have a great meal, great service, great place. We have a monthly reservation and the staff are always accommodating to us. Our parties range from 4 people to upwards of 16... We have tried other places in town, and there is a reason we dont try anymore.

I would have given this place a 5 but service was slow today. Its only patio but it could have been faster.Food was great , large patio seating, and please enjoy the free Wi-FI, I will give it another chance.

A place to be! for jovial times and fine food and drink. The servers fly on their feet and the bar keep knows his drinks like the back of his hand. The lighting is kind to the eyes and tables welcoming and cozy. Soft ceiling tiles reduce the sound of conversation and red brick and wainscoting, the shine of the metal taps on the wooden bar are all waiting for you here in Uxbridge.

Driving through town on a dark Sunday night, stopped in for dinner with the family. Nice home-style restaurant. Cozy booth. Friendly staff. Chicken fajitas were delicious!

Don t go out of your way to go here. Under average pub food. Had the nachos to start, more tomatoes than cheese on them even though I had asked for no tomatoes. My kid did said they tasted like they came out of the microwave. My chicken sandwich said it was gonna be tossed in the sauce of my choice but just had a little dribble of sauce squirted on it.

We ve gone here for many years. Recently they ve apparently decided to let the place go downhill. The carpet is disgusting and there are many things that need replacing or at least cleaning The food is nowhere near as good as it used to be and we ve noticed that it s usually never full any more. It s almost as if management has decided to close the place in the near future and doesn t want to spend any money on it even to have the place cleaned.

Came in pretty late with a friend for some drinks. Service was quick and beers weren t watered down like other places. Music was good too and got seated pretty quick.

Good spot for a quick meal, good flavor

Took a trip there with 19 people last Sunday, say outside at the picnic tables, not the most comfortable, but good considering we didnt want to sit inside. The waiter was awesome! We wanted separate bills, didnt seem to stress him out, he took orders, even remembered a lot of our names when getting refills etc! Food was excellent, tasty hot served quickly. Highly recommend, will go there in the future for sure!

I came here for lunch as I was working in town. I ordered the lemon pepper wings, and I have to say that they were probably the best lemon pepper wings Ive had to date. They were large, fresh and perfectly seasoned. Even the fries were exceptional. If I ever come back, this is where I am going. Great work guys!

It would be 5 stars but its a little pricey

I have been here a handful of times and I honestly really like it! The food is great, the services is amazing and the atmosphere is definitely what you expect for a pub. Would totally recommend to anyone! Parking: They have parking behind their building and street parking in front that is free. If they are full, there is public parking close by, I just don t know if you would have to pay for it or not.

Food was good but the service was lacking. The waitress stopped by our table twice, once to take our order and once to bring our bill. Not once did she check in with us to ask about our food or refills. Other tables received great service. Wasn t impressed.

Food is fresh, delicious and good customer service is attentive. I personally recommend Wixens Summer Salad: Mixed greens topped with chicken, red onion, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts dried cranberries, goat cheese & raspberry dressing. Gluten free option available. Comes in Lunch or Dinner portions (specifically say which when ordering).

Really enjoyed the experience

Did not have a good experience here and got food poisoning from the under cooked grey hamburger. My kids were sick with stomach issues as well after soupy mac n cheese and under cooked chicken tenders. Nachos were so stale I left the plate full just wanted to get out of there. Be weary of 5 star rating it left me and my family sick for 48hrs.

Cant say enough good things about this place! We booked the party room for our post wedding celebration and the staff were super friendly, food was awesome and an all around great night! My husbands band of course has played there a few times and I hope well be back soon!

They are really trying here. The staff are friendly and attentive but not clingy. Everyone wants to sit up front by the windows, and we got a table by the fireplace. Kind of pleasant, a bit HOT. Food was delicious and very satisfying. I cant comment on prices these days, but it seemed fair. Good selection for a pub. Local bevvies on tap. Great place when the patio is open, but dark in the back end in winter. (Windows!!) There was some fresh new paint in places to lighten the place up, and washrooms are modern and clean. Super easy parking. Lot adjacent and on street.

Service was fast and friendly. Burger was very obviously frozen patty. Everything was borderline between ok and gross.

Visited this place on March 19, 2022 afternoon. Highly recommend this restaurant. Start from small, the glass water is in glass cup, not plastic. And with lemon and straw. The sweet potato fries is delicious. I can say it is the best I ever had. I ordered beef fajita and Simon on cedar. Both tasted very good. The service was excellent. BTW, washroom is clean.

The food portions are huge. My wife had the fish and chips and the piece of fish took up almost the whole plate. My burger was delicious and the fries were fresh and perfectly cooked. We will definitely go back if were having lunch in Uxbridge again.

Really great pub nestled in the heart of old-town Uxbridge. Great patio, and even a section that is dog friendly! Gotta try either of their chicken curries - so damn good!

My second visit, and both times the food was excellent. Last time I very much enjoyed my fish and chips and this time around I asked for curry chicken extra spicy. All our guests were very satisfied with the quantity and taste of their meals. The service was also very good. A most enjoyable outing indeed!

Food was average. Wife had roast beef dip she said it was very dry and had no flavor. I had prime rib philly, i think cook must think people are dumb because that was not prime rib. Was the same as roast beef dip. But sandwich was good. Service was terrible. Not servers fault, they were under staffed so i put that on management Parking: 20 to 25 spots

We decided on Uxbridge as a halfway point to visit with relatives. The reviews were good overall so we selected this place as It had good parking and seemed suitable. We went at 11am on Sunday to find that while they have a breakfast menu - it consists of just 2 options - traditional and an omelet Service was less than stellar - but we couldn t tell if there was just one server trying to look after the whole restaurant or what the challenge was although they seemed to pack almost all guests into one small area so staff shortage may be a consideration. We all had traditional breakfast and no one actually got their eggs cooked correctly, home fries tasted burnt and meat was meh! Perhaps they should stick with lunch and dinner and remove breakfast altogether

At the time I was at this restaurant at 7:00 p.m., I was surprised I was not busy. Although the staff does ask if there was reservation made. Because apparently it could be very busy. Although I did not make any reservation, there was some table still available. After being seated, for some reason it took about 20 minutes before someone took our order. Thats way too long in my opinion. Outside of the excessive wait time before taking our orders, the food was okay. The place of business do take all forms of payment from cash to credit cards, Visa, Amex, MasterCard. Also would like to add that this place does do take out as well.

Beautiful outdoor patio, great coffee, spirits & cocktails. Friendly staff and overall enjoyable atmosphere. The calamari is delicious but consider asking for a side of another dipping sauce they have some great options including a solid dill flavour.

Honestly, walked in without any expectations but...this has been some of the best pub grub Ive had in a long time. Calamari was on point. Perfect breading, cooked to perfection. And the steak and mushroom pie was delicious. Streak was tender and the gravy was amazing... Great job...will definitely look to come back again!

I ordered the Prime Rib Philly sandwich and the GF had the roast beef special which is topped with a yorkshire pudding and gravy. The Philly sandwich is not traditional as the beef is blended with a gravy. Given the title I was expecting a but more but nevertheless still rather enjoyed my sandwich. The roast beef is not top of the line but for the price point it was just fine. Also delivered medium rare as requested. Wait staff where right-on. I would return next time I happen to be in Uxbridge.

Call them if the site you are trying to book a table in tells you nothing is available. They have space. Parking on site. Great place to meet with friends and family. Big tent with picnic tables or patio with chairs. Heater. Nice ambiente. Great staff. Food is always good. Right on main drag in Uxbridge with some clothing stores.

This is a great place, we went there for something different and we were so happy we did. We shared the nachos and the quesadilla ( both no meat) and they were the best we have had in a long time. If your ever in the area, it s a must go to place.

Absolutely amazing food! Had the Ribeye and New York Sirloin steak, Canadian Burger, and some of their sides as well and I can say that their kitchen will not disappoint! The staff are professional as well as friendly, and the atmosphere is easy-going. Will recommend to any of my friends passing through Uxbridge for a great bite to eat!

We went as a party of 25 at 9 PM and the reception was kind and accommodating. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. No one got an order they didnt like. Overall, a pleasant experience.

We had a busy morning with a baby and toddler so we asked to pre-order our food so we could eat when we got there and avoid a toddler meltdown. They were so accommodating. Everything is always delicious and fresh. They have high chairs and booster seats available will and a great kids menu too.
