Sushi Boom London in Uxbridge

Me and my daughter are big sushi lovers, we probably have tried any sushi which deliver to us but once we found sushi boom we are not looking any more. Their sushi are the tastiest, frensh and nice. And the huge choice, Ive never seen in any other sushi restaurant in London. And an additional.star for the delivery, these guys make me smile every time, such a positive attitude!

I had a very bad experience with the delivery driver, Roman. He was extremely rude, kept on saying door is closed and did not let me explain anything like if he presses the door I can open the door or the concierge can let him in. He kept telling me to come down. I am ordering Uber eats only when I don t feel like going outside and he makes me come downstairs. When I placed the order, I informed them that I live in a flat and expected the food to be delivered to my door, as all other Uber Eats drivers do that. However, this driver rudely insisted that I come downstairs to collect it. On top of that, the delivery was late almost an hour instead of the promised 30 minutes. Not only was he late, but his attitude and refusal to deliver to my door made the experience even worse. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially when I chose delivery for convenience. Please address this issue, as it reflects poorly on your service.

The best part, however, was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience, answering any questions and offering recommendations with a genuine smile. The prices were also very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of both the food and the service. This restaurant offers excellent value for money. I cant recommend it enough and will definitely be coming back!

Don t bother coming to this place. Google says it opens at 11am. Got there - on the door it says the restaurant wasn t open until 12pm. Came back just after 12pm. A male staff member saw us walk in and then he went into the back. No greeting, nothing. We sat there for over 25 minutes. No one came out to serve us. We rang the bell on the bar/front desk numerous times and could hear staff in the kitchen laughing and yet, no one came out to serve us. Ended up leaving. This place is absolutely ridiculous. The worst customer service I have experienced. Will not be returning.

I had dinner eating good quality sushi, made really well, on a par with that of the best Italian Chinese restaurants that I know very well. Maybe the price is slightly higher, but we are in London and we are already getting lost with the exchange rate between the pound and the euro, and then London is expensive, as we know.

As a person passionate about sushi, I was totally disappointed!!! Especially the one with cream cheese, it felt like the cheapest cream cheese on the market. What impressed me was that I got a 40% discount on my order and that the courier delivered the order quite quickly!

I have ordered many times, and the delivery is always late. I had a horrible experience with my last order - absolutely ridiculous customer service, and the rude delivery woman took nearly two hours. I will not order from here anymore.

Frankly speaking, Polite staff, average service, mediocre Food. I had lunch there with my daughter. Staff were quite nice. At first they got our order wrong we were waiting politely for my daughter s soup, it didn t come until we went and ask. They politely answered they forgot to add it in the system. By the time the soup came my daughter Share mine and then was quite full up, therefore we had to take it away. We ordered a platter which cost £19, but the quality was very poor the cheese bites were cold in the middle and they called it Tempura platter but there were only 4 Tempura an the rest was indescribable, apart from the onions rings which I thought the were calamari until I bite through them to my surprise! When the bill came they charge us sauces! ( mayo and teriyaki), even though it was presented in the Tempura platter picture It is such a shame though! Before the accident ( car run through the shop), I bought a Tom yum and it was such a pleasant experience! Today the soup was so salty and bizarre, that is how I could describe it, wash out with no substance or quality. The noodles were rubbery too, yuck!!! Wheelchair accessibility: I am not a wheelchair user but it would be difficult for anyone who does to come to the restaurant.

As a sushi enthusiast, my experience at Sushi Boom left much to be desired. The hot sushi with excessive cheese toppings created an unappealing and unbalanced flavor profile. Cream cheese overwhelmed most rolls, lacking traditional freshness. Trying the baked sushi was a regrettable choice; it did not align with authentic Japanese cuisine expectations. Sushi Booms chef should reconsider the traditional sushi-making techniques for a more authentic experience.

Tick tick tick tick GLOOM! Thought we had finally found a place for sushi in Uxbridge, Sadly proven wrong by the extremely poor service and the low quality food here at Sushi Gloom. The place was cold and grim, the menus all had different pages missing so it was like a random food lottery trying to work out what to have. When it arrived- Chewy seaweed surrounds all the non-fresh tasting sushi. The edamame were overly salted and again tasted quite bland. Mostly dry sushi rice which is another sign of lack of freshness. The gyoza were also poor like they were out of a packet. Tbf the fried tofu was good, sadly the best dish took the least amount of skill in making. Add on top the poor/ non existent service and you have the perfect recipe for a never return scenario. Staff seem more interested in hiding in then back sorting delivery orders rather than paying any attention to people in the restaurant. I paid the service charge out of pity for them to put towards the heating bill.

Sushi is very tasty! There is enough filling, it feels like the fish is of the first grade and is fresh! The staff and owners meet their requirements, which is very much appreciated! I have ordered more than once and will also order in the future! Thank you very much

Now, if my food wasnt over 2 hours late and if it was warm at the very least, it may have tasted better. Extremely disappointed because we werent even notified that our food was going to be late. The restaurant did update the estimated delivery time however the food arrived an hour after the latest est arrival. No apology from anyone except the driver...who couldnt even find my address even though it is written on the front of the building. If you are that busy then you should let your customers know.

If I could I would give this restaurant 0 stars. Worst experience ever! Even 30 minutes after the latest arrival time the food still had not arrived. And when called both times, 20 minutes apart was told both times that there was an issue and the driver was leaving now. Would never trust this place again.

Being a Sushi aficionado myself I am super impressed by what this sushi restaurant is able to pull off. The fish menu is fresh, portion is great and for the price the quality food is comparable or dare I say even better than some of the expensive sushi restaurants in central london. I will be back again. I am very shocked that I can eat such yummy sashimi outside Japan , and got in love for rolls with cheese on top. Impressed for customer service- manager of this restaurant is very friendly and professional in what she does . Thank you for great food.

Salmon tasted like it was freshly hauled out of the the river Thames a year ago and left to sit in a bucket of water. Cold tempura and gyozas Was really looking forward to this meal, the food was delivered to me in a leisurely fashion (20 mins late). The driver kicked into gear and began to speed up as he was about to leave. Wouldn t try again

Amazingly tasty sushi with a great innovative idea to do baked sushi . I was a bit skeptic about the concept but honestly i was blown away by the flavours and taste of the sushi . Very well presented, fresh and delicious sushi. Almost every time the food is very well packaged. The delivery is pretty fast but the pricing is a bit too high compared to other places in the area. Nevertheless, I really like the variety they have and Ive been ordering from them for quite some time.

This restaurant used to provide the best sushi around a year ago. Last week I ordered a Sense pack with them. It wasn t the greatest one and the portion has decreased let alone the taste.

Omg, really well made sushi. We had the Shanghai box Plus extra maki and baked rolls. All of it was absolutely delicious and kids and I had a smile on our faces. Parking: We Parked outside for a pick up takeway and it was ok for a Saturday night.

Placed an order, money taken, etc and order immediately cancelled stating there was no driver to bring the food. Food range offers a wide variety of choices. Service was fast, the members of the crew are friendly but just one moment that they are not around and we don t know who to call, and just needed to wait for like several minutes. Restaurant is clean, though the napkin holder ran out of table napkins which was not bothered to be refilled. It will be great of there will be suggestion on the menu which says best seller so customers won t be overwhelmed with all the food choices.

I had the best time, the food left me in a state of bliss and that s not even an exaggeration, I left the building with a food coma and a smile on my face. I love their baked sushi range and the soy sauce isn t too salty which I m always wary of. The customer service was very friendly too, will definitely be coming again

Weve been ordering sushi from this place for quite a long time, and everything was good and tasty, but lately this sushi hasnt brought as much pleasure as before, the rice doesnt taste like its fresh, its getting hairy, and in todays order the fish just stank that its impossible to eat. When I found out that there is sushi like in my home country in London. I fast started searching up. Where is this place. And it was in Uxbridge. First time when I came there after more than year not having normal sushi I ordered that Philadelphia and that was super delicious. I like everything there. All different rolls. Ordered via Uber eats and have to say quality is really up there and you do genuinely get what you pay for in terms of quality! Ordered chicken wings, noodles and katsu curry all was excellent and really nice! Im not a fan of sushi in general but now Im tempted to order it from here next time. Service was excellent too.
