Ordered liver and onions liver was cooked so much it was black my wife had to cut the burned pieces away and my the looks of the inside of the restaurant i was afraid to eat the food never again.

My husbands first meal was burnt! Returned and was alright. My meal was cold and i didnt want to wait anorher half hour. After telling waitress my issue she appoligized but not her fault. I thought we might be compensated for our dissapointment but no...$70.00 for 2!!!

We all whent in for breakfast we were 6 - potatoes was cold - did not receive toast and when i did get them the toast was white and three dots of butter in middle - and what restaurent doesnt have peanut butter or jam but hey they have honey ??

Service was terrible. Food wasnt as good as previous times. The fish was fishy tasting. Asked for sauce on the side for the wings but brought them on the wings.

The manager/owner need to take a serious assessment of how this place is run. There must be processes or procedures that are not working. Maybe staff not being trained properly. Even with sufficient staff the service is very slow, even to be seated is slow... Something is not working. I have given this place many chances, I will not be returning.

Went Saturday waited over 50 minutes for breaded wings one dill flavor one buffalo got them back not breaded (raw) and barbecue sauce on them not buffalo , my wife ordered clue house and fries got them and fries where cold,and ordered garlic bread that was great,asked waitress how much longer she said she was going to go check doesnt come back to tell us so I had to flag her down to ask her,I guess thats why my wifes food was cold because they waited for my wings,wow never again sorry come on first round bar and grill...totally disappointed...I wish I could give it no stars but thats not an option......

Ive only been disappointed with this place. Got home with my order to find out we didnt get our cheese stick and the appetizers was a joke... the seafood appetizer is a joke

Forty creek burger was well worth it!!

Waitress never brought our utensils until we asked also 15 mins after we placed our group order we found out they didnt have product for sea food appetizers dish the kitchen staff over cooked my deep fried mushroom caps n the wings were over cooked, they were crunchy n had little to no meat. Im from south western Ontario

So sorry! This round is my last round!! Service hasnt been the same now for a long time now and food quality has deteriorated.... Hope things improve!!

The last time I ordered to go . The salad was brown the chicken wings tasted like they had been refried and the lemon pepper was non existent. I havent been back since. Dropped the ball big time.

Excellent service and the food was fantastic - I had the Fish and Chips on special and it might be the best I have ever had. My wife had the Julienne salad - delicious and presentation was first class. Will definitely return.

We ordered 1 hour in advance considering they schedule your pick up time, not a problem but it was still 20 minutes late. Staff apologized. Got home and the creek burger had no patty. Thats not cool, because from ordering to eating 2 hours elapsed. Seafood fettuccine was good. Parking: Ample parking.

I have never dined in this place always just picked up It seems like it would have a good atmosphere to go sit down and eat however however in the last year that Ive been in this area the food seems to waver From good to bad And this time around we ordered a pickled Potein And they have recently changed their fries and their gravy W will not be ordering again especially French fries Chicken wings were good

Philly cheese steak wrap- sauce had good flavour but so chewy. I had to pull gristle and fat that I could not chew out of my mouth. Fries tasted like freezer burn bag fries. Overall disappointing, and I paid way too much for a meal I didn t even eat.

Their cappelletti is TORTELLINI like the packaged ones you buy at the grocery store. The bread they give with it, tastes and looks like a cut hot dog bun. What a rip off. Their cappelletti used to be good. Not sure what changed.

Trying to support local businesses because of Covid. This will be the last time we support this business. What a disaster. Ordered takeout at 5pm for me to pickup at 610. Got there at 605, paid for the meal, asked for a receipt and was told I d get it when I get my order in a few moments. At 627, I FINALLY got my order. When I asked if they had given me the additional dip I paid extra for - I was told it was in the bag. Guess what ... it wasn t in the bag. They chased after me to give it to me. Once I started to drive away, guess what else was missing. The receipt. When I called to give them feedback on the experience their response was thanks you for supporting local. We re short staffed abs doing our best. THATS IT! We won t be supporting this local restaurant any longer.

Sorry to say but the food here isnt the best. We had takeout tonight and it was awful. It was gross, flavourless. My grandfather couldnt even eat his meal because his food was so tough. Our burgers were 2/10. Service was friendly.

Luved the mushroom caps from jubes bought them from the new owners they are terrible very watery and mushy,had their fish and chips with gravey,the fish portions were at least 70 percent batter the fries were alright until Iput the canned gravey on them not good, for what i payed for they are way overpriced and not worth it

Ive had the opportunity to have First Round cater our lunch at work every day. They are always on time and the orders have no mistakes. Everything is cooked well and they have the makings of a good restaurant. The managers seem very organized and driven to run a good business. Where First Round lacks is the quality of their food. First Round struggles to compete in a sea of pub style restaurants with an average priced menu. There is nothing special about their flavours and there is nothing unique about their menu. Eating here will just cause you to feel bloated and unsatisfied. I skim through the menu every day to see what Id be willing to tolerate as a lunch and decide most of the time to not place an order at all. Most of the employees here do the same and thats saying something when our employer even pays for our meals! Overall, the place is fine but, you get what you pay for. Youre better off going to a chip stand. EDIT: Today I decided to place an order for some sweet potato fries. I choose these because it should be the easiest item on the menu for them to get right (Peel, cut, heat and serve) Im glad to say that when I have received my order for them in the past, I enjoyed them. However, the owner decided that since my previous review was not to his liking, that he would refuse to serve me today. I know its his right to choose who to serve and who not to serve. Im just surprised that the owner is deciding to make a point instead of make money. I guess I could always have a coworker order my lunch on my behalf to circumvent the fact that Ive been childishly blacklisted. Lucky for me, I dont really want their food in the first place. EDIT: Im happy to conclude that this situation has caused my employer to seek catering elsewhere. A lesson to learn for the owner of First Round: Dont bite the hand that feeds you.

Every time I ve attempted to visit this restaurant, they are closed. Posted hours of operation for Sunday says 9am-8pm, I showed up at 11:08am on Sunday July 25, and the restaurant is closed.

The food and service is amazing when you dine in; however 3 times in the last week Ive tried to order for pick up, Ive been informed the pickup time is 2.5 hrs. They have space to dine in, and if I had done that I could have been seated, ordered and ate in 1hr. Not very impressed, mabey next time Ill take up space, order and take it to go. Mind-blowing. Mabey management should look into this situation.

We ordered 4 time from this place only once did we go home with the right order nobody cares what they do there This time they forgot one whole meal . and the wings and the mushroom caps were cold as ice. all for a heavy price you can have it too

Great service . We walked in at close to 10pm thinking we had an hour and a bit left since it said closes@ 11pm. We heard someone else say something about it being closed at 10PM. We asked our waitress and she was very pleasant didnt try to rush us but we did hurry our date night. For being such a great waitress my partner left a $25 tip for a $40 bill. Sometimes it pays to be nice and pleasant. Great staff and food we will return. Wishthehours were a little later even 12AM would be nice. Thanks First Round ValCaron! A++

I just dealt with the best customer service ever. I ordered their delicious taco salad bowl. The dressing was left out by accident and when I called to ask if I can come swing by and pick it up quick, they offered to bring it to me at work for free. Very much appreciated!! :)

Really great wings. I normally hate legs, but Ill eat these ones. I think its the chicken they get. Not fatty or too much skin. Not watery either. Has a great taste. We live about an hour and a half away, but still try to get wings here at least once a week. Staff and owners are very nice.

Although the food and service was excellent. We were advised of the new menu that was coming out. This allowed for this restaurant to charge the new prices that was not on the menu provided to us during this visit. My husband noticed it on the bill after I had paid. I realize restaurants are struggling but this is poor business.

i ordered chicken wings for take out it must of been wings from a turkey or something it was gross called the restaurant they said thats the new chicken wings they get from a new vendor DISCUSTING owner didnt do anything when you order take out check your food before you pay i WILL NEVER NEVER GO BACK TO THAT RESTAURANT EVER AGAIN

Is a great place to eat and injoy time with family and friends but after tonight diner was very disappointed with the plates and the waitress that didnt do her job right and necnecsme back to check if we needed anything and when we did ask she forgot so with that said very disappointed tonight

We attended a family gathering at First Round Sports this evening, and had a great time. Our server (Becky) was friendly & efficient. There was an error with my order, and she was able to quickly get it replaced. It appeared that everyone in our group got their food & beverages in a timely manner. I ordered the Chef Salad & hubby ordered wings (2 pounds for the price of one, because he ordered a beer ) -- wed definitely go again next time were in the area. (Silly me forgot to take food pictures today! )

Had a veal Parmesan.. seem like they tenderized the chicken which was not tender at all. It was flat and seemed to have been hammered to tenderize. The service was ok but if youre looking for a quiet dinner then the loud drunks at the bar dont help. Will not return because the food quality was not good.
