Very good beers with or without alcohol. Favorite for the Neipa 117. Good micro brasserie meal Nice atmosphere, but very noisy when there is no event.

There is the art and way of saying things, especially to tourists! No, tipping is not obligatory in Quebec in restaurants, so young lady avoid attacking people when they are friendly. Furthermore, I remind you that it was not you who served us. We left you 10%...Tipping is strongly encouraged and is part of social norms. In Quebec, it is customary to leave a tip of approximately 15% to 20% of the bill before taxes if the service was satisfactory. This is not particularly the case. You have to stop soliciting your customers!!! This is particularly important because while servers are often paid an hourly rate lower than the regular minimum wage, we are not the ones to blame.

The atmosphere is good, the waitresses cheerful and courteous. The food is good.

Excellent meal, my husband had a tartare (one of the best he has eaten according to him) and I had a wonderfully good goats cheese salad. The only thing I could say is that were a little too stuck together.

My husband and I visited the store and factory last August. Wow lots of beautiful products to drink and wear. The designs are very pretty. We loved our factory tour and the chance to sample various products. We bought some and luckily I still have some in my fridge! We will return there during our next vacation...by the way I saw a few cans at my IGA in Gatineau!! Long live the Prospectors!

Delicious beers, delicious tapas. Popcorn chicken with masterful hot sauce. Try the wagyu beef dumplings, you wont be disappointed.

Extremely long service we waited 1 hour 10 minutes for our starters plate of natchos and chicken wings! But so good Exceptionally very good beer! I will go back tomorrow!

Nous sommes arrêté pour souper sur le chemin du retour. Je ne bois pas de bière mais ils en ont un vaste choix et ça semble une belle destination pour les amateurs de broue. Nous avons bien aimé notre expérience, la nourriture fut bonne et le service excellent. Recommandé! (Ça fait bizarre dire ça mais A+ pour loriginalité des urinoires!)

I go to Val dOr three or four times a year for work, and Le Prospecteur is always the first restaurant on the list, and sometimes we find a way to go there twice. Last time, I was disappointed in terms of food. The fish and chips were ordinary, very very ordinary. No wow and damn it was dry. Really overcooked. This is the first time after so many times that I have come away telling myself that I will not come back during my stay. But, I will be in the area from 02/13 to 02/23, and I will go back. I tell myself that it happens to any cook to have a bad evening. The law of averages.

Beer lovers will be served! A must-have.

Saturday January 15, 2023 we tried the restaurant for the first time we were seated at the bar we had excellent service from our bartender Danny! The beer and the meal were excellent!

Busy place when we went. Very friendly staff. I had chicken nachos and a porter beer. It was good. The service was fast. The prices were a little but high for what it was but in general, it is the same everywhere these days.

Wide variety of regular and seasonal beers. Very well recommended for the selection of beers according to my tastes.

I was passing through Val d Or alone without really knowing where to go to eat or have a drink. I stopped at the prospector wow, a great experience, incredible service with Nico who gave me very good advice and helped me discover great things! I ate simple, authentic and delicious cuisine! On my next visit to Val d Or it s incredible!

We went there to have a beer, and we were not disappointed. I think you have to take the special beers, or of the moment to discover interesting tastes. We ate there too, and we were surprised by the quality of the dishes. We were expecting pub food, but it turned out to be a step above. The prospectors burger being our biggest surprise.

A very good place for beer and food. We had good service and we liked their beer. Their plates are very generous, and the beer was solid. The only reason why its not 5/5 for me is that their beer will have to be next level before (but its not all bad, as I say solid). Their rental at the moment is not very good because of the construction, but it is not their fault and will be resolved soon. Good spot that is worth a visit.
