Unfriendly and neglectful service and terrible food. The old fashioned that I ordered was straight booze and the salmon tartare was similar to cat food. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

J'ai eu le plaisir de souper au restaurant Le Canon et je dois dire que mon expérience a été tout simplement incroyable. Les plats étaient exquis, en particulier l’entrée de saumon fumée qui était à tomber par terre. L'ambiance du restaurant était très accueillante, avec une décoration élégante et une musique d'ambiance apaisante. Le personnel était extrêmement attentif, rigolo, et sympathique, ce qui a vraiment ajouté à mon plaisir. Il on pris le temps de parler avec nous à la fin de notre repas et de nous conseiller tout au long de notre service. De vrai amour! Je recommande vivement Le Canon à tous ceux qui recherchent une expérience gastronomique de qualité supérieure. C'est un incontournable à Val-d'Or!
Le service était bien. La nourriture, juste correct. En entrée, les bouchées de crabe au panco était en fait des boulette froide faite de chair de crabe en canne avec une plus grande quantité de mayonnaise que les boulettes elles-mêmes. Très fort goût de poisson et non de crabe. La fondu, le bouillon ne goutait absolument rien, juste un bouillon qui avait été allongé avec de l'eau. Le filet mignon était tout sec. Sauce au poivre, plus de grain de poivre que de sauce. Pour un restaurant qui s'affiche pour un certain haut standard, la nourriture n'était pas à la hauteur des attentes.
Service médiocre il a des gens qui ce fond servir avant nous mêmes ci son arrivée après nous ! Service extrêmement long … entrée était pas été servie les 4 en même temps. La viande pour la fondue est encore gelé 🥶 Il a des collant encore sur les piments que nous allions manger ! Ceci dis que ca nous a couter 330$ pour une fondu pas super et un service qui est mieux au Valentine que la! Malheureusement nous c’est fini pour ce restaurant s’était la deuxième fois que ça nous arrivais a cette place ! Et ci vous voulez un conseil pour la serveuse en fin de carrière donner lui son 4/100 probablement le restaurant aura une meilleure accueille et service dans votre restaurant!!!
Excellent souper à Val d'Or ! Heureux d'être ailleurs que dans une chaine de restaurants avec Suzanne - 33 ans d'expérience et sa collègue qui nous ont fait passer une belle soirée. Assiettes copieuses (avec légumes cuits à point). Merci
Restaurant Le Canon est privilégié par son emplacement situé dans l’Escale Hôtel Suites et son stationnement à proximité. L’ambiance feutrée, chaleureuse et conviviale. Les meubles sont confortables, le décor est ‘’vantage’’ par son faux cuir blanc et les chandeliers chromés ornant les tables. Le chef vous propose une gastronomie régionale à base de produits du terroir. Des plats succulents et des mets réconfortants. De la fraîcheur dans l’assiette et du bonheur dans la bouche. Des ingrédients frais et de qualité pour satisfaire les différents goûts des clients. Des textures et des présentations appétissantes. Le service est très bien et la serveuse nous accorde tout le temps nécessaire pour prendre un bon repas à notre rythme. La verrerie, les assiettes et les ustensiles, les articles de la table, propres, impeccables et de bon goût. À souligner: la propreté remarquable des lieux et les règles sanitaires Covid respectées. Un repas de qualité à s’offrir car nous le méritons. Bon appétit!

For lunch, frankly disappointing. The bread slices were burnt, the eggs were poached and the bacon was overcooked. At least the service was good. I advise you to have lunch at home or go elsewhere.

For a long time I enjoyed this restaurant but recently, a big decline in quality. I poisoned myself with scallops, Ive never vomited so much in my life. What is very sad is that no one took the trouble to contact me following my complaint. I no longer recommend this restaurant. Much too afraid of being sick again
Beyond the fact of being looked at from top to bottom in a disdainful manner as soon as we arrived in the restaurant, we experienced a legendary evening. A place that suggests a certain standing given the decor and the menu offerings. Unfortunately this was not the case. my partner orders a soup of the day (vegetables) and he ends up with an onion soup that he agrees to eat instead of his initial order and the result...too salty! The rest is memorable... I order a confit duck leg with forest sauce and a supplement ($4) for a pepper sauce and end up with a duck breast! Tiny thing drowned in a ton of rice too dry to eat. I asked for my dish to be changed and found myself with two tasteless duck legs and an inedible pepper sauce. and a forest sauce...without mushrooms...All being bland and surely industrial. Nothing is well seasoned, no accuracy in the execution of the dishes and poor service. Who will say that it was our fault if she was deceived because we asked questions about the composition of the dishes. The time comes to clear our still full plates and the waitress spills all the sauce on the table and narrowly misses my partner. Not a word, not an oops sorry, everything okay? Nothing...complete disdain pushed to its climax. Normally we would have had dinner in a restaurant chain, a choice we should have kept. You will understand, I do not recommend this place! There are more friendly ones to discover around.

Erreur sur la facture! attention! On Nous a charger 1 verre de vin 12$ de trop et 1 dessert 7$. Je men suis rendu compte seulement après être parti. donc 19$ plus tx.!!! Moi qui ait laissé plus que 15% de pourboire.... non je ny retournerai pas. Trop dure a digérer... 2 étoiles juste parce que la crème brulée était excellente.
