Karine Ouellet, propriétaire de l'entreprise, se démarque en offrant à sa clientèle des pâtisseries moderne. Elle développe un faible pour les desserts dès son plus jeune âge, ce qui l'amènera à étudier dans ce domaine. Se démarquant au sein de sa cohorte, Karine participe à plusieurs compétitions et ce rend jusqu'au Mondial des métiers WorldSkills à São Paulo en 2015. Par la suite, elle effectue un retour en région (Abitibi-Témiscamingue) dans le but d'ouvrir sa propre boutique. La pâtissière fait ses preuves au Bar Bistro L'Entracte ou elle à su charmer les clients en apportant un renouveau au menu dessert. C'est en 2018 qu'elle fait le grand saut dans le monde entrepreneurial afin d'ouvrir ça propre boutique : KarinO Gâteaux.

C'est petit et chaleureux et le menu est exquis! Tout en vaut la peine, sur place ou pour emporter.
Unfortunately the cake and pastries weren’t fresh and coffee taste like milk more than coffee; I was only visiting the city for a couple of days and I don’t know why despite the high review rate the quality and service was so average! I guess at some point they were doing a great job but sadly not anymore! So I add this review for people to know what to expect
