Casse-Croute Chez Ti-Pit in Val-d'Or

The poutine is good, lots of cheese. Nothing negative to say but doesnt stand out from the rest. Fast, efficient, smiling and courteous staff. Did the job!!

Particularly this evening the hamburger and hot dogs were excellent without forgetting fries and poutine. Well done to the team!!!

Unfortunately, the poutine was not great, fried not so good and cheese in piles if there was any, probably one of the worst poutines I have eaten, onion rings not so good no longer have.. However a year ago I ordered the same thing and it was very good.. Paid around $25 and its the same as if I would have thrown the money in the trash, thats how I felt in leaving... I put the blame on inexperience and the haste to get orders out...

Ive been there twice now, the prices are expensive for what offers overcooked fries and the food is ordinary, plus dont take an interac card, its not in 2024, in short it could be better

What has changed a classic that has made the place famous for as long as I can remember its not a 1/4 pound garnished

Its good, however the two times I went there this year, my two poutines were not to my taste. Uncooked bacon, cold sausages, warm sauce and 2 colored potatoes, white golden and dark brown. It was a beautiful color on the other hand really disappointed.....

poutine weird taste cold sausage, hamburger soft bread cold fries in short. I wouldnt even have given this to my dog after a 45 minute wait to get it. First and last time I go there

Small snack shop (now open in winter) very clean kitchen.... the food is typical of a snack shop!! For my part, I find the poutine sauce too thick but the taste is Quebecois! Very generous hamburger! But I generally find that the prices are $2-3 too expensive which impacts the tip I give :) Parking: Since the majority of people dont eat on site, free parking on the side is great.

The poutine is good, but making us pay $2.50 to withdraw money to pay anyway in Africa you can buy fresh fish and pay by card because they are too stingy to afford an INTERAC machine I find that insulting in 2023. Review that, or remove the fees for the machine, because in addition to stealing $2.50 per transaction from us, our banks also use fees, in short its ridiculous not bad, my poutine at $15.50 with taxes is mine at $19....

During our visit, we ordered 3 hot dogs, 2 of which were topped with cabbage and condiments (relish, mustard) as well as a small and a mini poutine. The price: 48 dollars. I asked why the bill was that much for 3 hot dogs and 2 poutines. I was told it s not Valentine here . I replied Yes, I know but 48 dollars for my bill is a lot, we started counting the sum of the prices displayed and arrived at 28 dollars. She goes back to check and without apologizing tells us that she mistakenly added an Italian poutine and a Gatorade to our bill. When she corrects the bill we notice we are being charged for 2 topped hot dogs at 4.75 each. We ask for an explanation and we are told that a mout-chou is an all-dressed meal, whereas on the menu there is no mention of this type, and an all-dressed meal includes tomato, onions, salad and cheese. In all honesty, this sad thing is not worth 1.50 and unfortunately a Valentines hot dog for a fraction of that price would have been much more delicious and appealing. Honestly the dry cabbage and the tiny line of condiments... I wont come back again.

We ordered for $50, left a good tip and after 40 minutes of waiting we asked what was going on and were told that we had been forgotten.

We stopped by chance and I found the prices really exaggerated for hot dogs, maybe seeing as its far from the most expensive to receive the sausage

I had high expectations for this snack which is part of the legendary book Mustard Chou and which has been open since 1966. Very disappointed with the regular poutine. First of all, the cheese doesnt taste like fresh cheddar cheese, more similar to a mozzarella texture. Then the fries dont have the best texture, only the brown sauce was the saving grace of the dish. Thanks, but no thanks. Below average. Parking: Easy to park

Delicious. The quarter pounder is so big, in my opinion the meatball is closer to the half pounder..! I couldnt finish it, even though I was hungry. For big appetites or to share as a couple!

I left Rouyn to eat the good poutine bacon with bbq sauce. Just a little thing, the sauce in my poutine was cold. I can just be assured that the sauce is hot enough apart from very very good.

Disappointed from A to Z! Living in Vancouver and having no snacks (homemade provincial style) I couldnt wait to eat a good poutine with cheese curds that you dont find in Vancouver and steamer hot dogs with cabbage !! I tell myself that Ill wait in the countryside, theyre often the best, even if theyre generally more expensive! A blunder, a real one! Already the prices are much too high for the quality of the food but in addition to the raw cabbage in your steamer its not what youre expecting! Neither has salad a slice of tomato pi of cheese in a steamer all dress... tsay when your disappointed in a medium time!!!! Not to mention the hotdog bread, not even steamed, nothing just not cooked The poutine ti pit asteur god damn the brown sauce is salty at a time there are so many huge sausages which have practically no potatoes the dosages would have been intelligent seems to me.. and the bacon forgets its mini pieces of dry bacon attach to more fat than other things really I would have put $31 in the trash it would have done the same!! The worst hot dog place Ive ever had in Quebec and whats more, I couldnt make up for it with a better one. I dont recommend it to ANYONE
