Cozy spot for sweet & savory Belgian waffles with other classic breakfast fare & espresso drinks.
Food was great, did the Benny on a waffle, rich flavourful and big helping. Server was pleasant and cheerful, service was quick. Small venue, had to wait about 25min to get in, very limited seating, close quarters so be prepared to hear everyone’s conversation but well worth the Sunday brunch stop spot!!!
Great spot for brunch! Not vegan friendly, but some good vegetarian options. I had the Brie waffle and I will be back to order it again. Order at the counter and they will bring the food to you. No reservations, seats are first come and limited.
Fantastic breakfast! First time here and I highly recommend it! We were greeted by a wonderfully friendly lady at the front. She explained how it worked.. you order before you sit down. However, because we had a large group, she sat us first, then took our order. Wow! The food was incredible. Everything was authentic and homemade. Even the chocolate milk was melted chocolate and milk. This was an exceptional experience and exceptional food.
Really wonderful waffles. The one we had was delicious. Would go back just for that. We also tried the salmon eggs Benedict on a bagel. The salmon was beautiful. There was a bit of a line, but we opted to sit outside which sped things up. The food came pretty quickly after ordering.
There was a line to get in but it moves fast. Make sure you know your order before you get to the register to keep it moving. We didn’t realize until just before our turn. Huge breakfast and fast service. I never had eggs Benedict on a waffle before. It was delicious. The waffle wasn’t sweet, it was just the perfect texture. I wish I knew how to make it myself. Delish!
My family and I love a good breakfast and we drove about 170ish miles from Maple Valley, WA and crossed the Canadian border to try Le Petit Belge. We were really impressed with the food, bar one dish. My to-go breakfast meal is an egg Benedict and this place has won me over with theirs. We got waffle bases for the Benedict and they must do some kind of magic with their mix because it’s really fluffy and crunchy at the same time. The only thing we weren’t a huge fan of was the veggie bowl, there was an overindulgence of salsa (possibly), which we weren’t a huge fan of. But everything else blew us away! It’s a very tiny restaurant and there was a bit of a wait to get seated and they do require you to order and pay before you do get seated. So try to spend the time you’re waiting perusing the menu instead of dawdling like us and being surprised when asked to order when you get to the front :3
The food here is excellent. Everything we tried was spot on, light, fluffy, not greasy, fresh, and not overly sweet or salty. The waffles were particularly good, I expected a heavy meal but walked away almost hungry. The service was quick and friendly, but the menu system was a bit odd, the menus are hanging and then you go to cashier and order, without a menu. It’s a small restaurant and it could use some updating and has a bit of an odd odor. Still, the food was so good all else is forgiven. Prices are pretty good and it’s an easy walk from the convention center. I will be eating here again.
I stopped here for brunch at around 1:00pm on a Tuesday. No lineup, and a few free tables. The inside is small so I could imagine a line forming quickly. Service was fantastic! Quick and efficient. The coffee was nice and was brought to my table almost as quickly as I could sit down. The food was really great! Well balanced meal and nice to look at. This place is a must try!
Always love coming here. When they open it s quiet so it s great for a single person to dine in. If you come in later and you have more than 2 people, you may have an issue getting a seat. That being said, they do their best to make sure tables are cleared and cleaned after a party leaves so that someone else can be seated quickly. The drinks are a *bit* overpriced in my opinion but the food is not. I like that they only come up to your table if they think that you may need something (refill, taking dirty dishes away) or if you catch their attention. It is small but it makes it more cozy in my opinion. Wheelchair accessibility: I don t believe that they have a button to open the door but they do have a ramp and the washroom is equipped for one in a wheelchair.
Really cute place right by our hotel. I got a sweet waffle, while my husband got a savory waffle. I m not sure if they used another type of waffle for the sweet vs savory, but mine was so crispy I had to cut it with a knife. It made it a little less enjoyable. The toppings were very tasty! My husband s waffle (savory) was soft and easy to cut with a fork. I would have rather had one similar, but I m not sure if maybe they were just different types of waffles. Service was great and the place was small, but cute. You order at the counter when you arrive, then they bring the food to your table.
The waffles are very soft. The poached hollandaise was all good, but it was a shame that the salmon was not smoked salmon or raw salmon. The coffee is bitter and light, but the goal seems to be different from the Americano sold in Korea.
The orange juice is not fresh. I asked for a replacement, the waiter pretended to do so but the new one had exactly the same artificial song flavor!!
Most of the staff were Japanese, and I could speak Japanese. I went there for breakfast, and I think the portions were large, so it was perfect for two of us to share. The eggs Benedict and waffles had a great balance and were delicious! The customer service was also very polite The inside of the store isnt that big, so you might have to wait if its crowded. I went first thing in the morning so I didnt have to wait.
Had the bacon benny on a bagel. Delicious. Portions were pretty big. I hate choosing between sweet and savoury so gonna have to come back for the waffles. They looked amazing!!!
Really great food and service! There was a line up but the servers were fast and efficient! I ordered a Brie waffle and loved it as it was moist and delicious! Overall great experience here!
Great option for brunch
We come here whenever we are in Vancouver every year for quite some years now. The menu used to have plain waffle but not any more. The $4.50 Americano coffee tastes pretty bad & I will have to remember not to order it next time. The heat inside the restaurant is at least 25-26 Celsius & I wonder if they do it on purpose so one would leave promptly for the next party. In the old days, theres always a line-up but not anymore.
The server was exceptionally rude.
Super delicious! ! I ordered ham and bacon flavored waffles. Both were delicious. I prefer more bacon. The taste is very refreshing, not too salty, and not greasy like many eggs Benedict. The waffle itself It s also fragrant and crispy, and the hot latte is delicious too. It s not inferior to the coffee shop at all. It s great The meal cost about 55 yuan for two people. We arrived at about 10 oclock on Sunday morning. We queued for about 20 minutes. There were more people behind us. It is recommended to arrive early.
Good coffee & breakfast, but it is a very small place with very little seating. Food comes out pretty quick and table turnover is pretty good. I just wish they had english muffins for the bennies as they re listed on the menu but that s a small thing. 9/10
My first time in Vancouver and I chose this place for breakfast my first morning and wasnt disappointed. Food was good and staff was polite.
Vegetarian options: Not good. Recommended dishes
Food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately it was so busy, the patio was the only place to sit; probably everyone wanted to eat here.
Waffle is awesome, my kids really enjoyed
Overhyped
10 out of 10 my favorite brunch place in Canada Parking: We had to pay for a parking spot Food : 5/5 |
Amazing service
The food is horrible in Belgium. This is way better than anything they ever did in the 2010 to 2020.
I ordered 4 Bacon waffles, Mixed fruits waffles, Salmon Benny, and My lady waffles! I was so full, and the salmon was the most delicious out of all of them I highly recommend the salmon! The staff are also very friendly
Great place for breakfast. Food is delicious and all the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Geoupna is delicious, Geoupna is friendly, Geoupna is crowded, but the breakfast bagels are really delicious.
Delicious food, clean spot and great service
The service is attentive and the food is delicious! Great experience
Absolutely delicious, fresh and warm (except for the ice cream obvs) and great coffee to go with it.
Small space but they have it laid out well. Great food and service.
Excellent on all parameters, no reservations taken but none needed if you have a little patience and a few minutes of time.
This was our second choice for brunch after we couldnt get into our first option, but it exceeded our expectations. I loved everything about this place, from the food and service to the ambiance.
Always thire foods are great.
The best waffles Ive had downtown. (Personal preference) Visit at 11 a.m. on Monday. The seats filled up quickly. The staff is friendly, the coffee, and the salmon waffles are delicious. I recommend it
Succulent breakfast and excellent Brussels chasms
Good place for breakfast! They were fast.
The restaurant is centrally located in Vancouver. Nice but simple atmosphere. Very nice staff. The specialty seems to be waffles with different types of toppings. The food is good with crispy waffles at the bottom. You have to like that yolks run out when you cut into the food, but it was perfectly fine.
Great place for breakfast!
Its an inconspicuous store. As soon as we entered, we saw it was packed with customers. After we took our seats, a line began to line up in the store. After breakfast, we understood why there were so many people. It was very delicious ~
A must have. My first stop when I get to town!!
Its one of the top 3 waffles Ive ever had. Its a very fluffy and light waffle, so its great to eat for breakfast, and the poached eggs, potatoes, and bacon are all perfect!!
Really nice place, professional people, very quick service, delicious café and breakfast, definitely recommended. A magnificent restaurant, the people are very professional, the service is fast, and of course it is very delicious .
We enjoyed our food for breakfast, and hope to squeeze in another visit before we leave. Staff and service were quick and friendly, and everyone worked very efficiently while the place was quite busy when we were there. While I understand the place is small, I did feel like it was a bit stuffy - just wish the airflow was a bit better (outdoor tables were all taken when we arrived).
Everything is cool, but the institution itself does not look very tidy. Renovation is needed, because everything looks very old and tattered. But its super tasty
Small but so lovely. Benny on waffles is my personal favourite. Staff is very nice.
Food was very tasty, nice presentation and fresh ingredients. The stuff is friendly. They have sweet and savory options! Overall we had a nice meal and a good experience!
Probably the best breakfast ever had at a restaurant.
Very cute, cozy breakfast spot. For being so busy, service was very attentive. Staff was lovely, food was delicious!
Absolutely amazing waffles. So crispy yet airy inside. Fresh fruit and lot of chocolate drizzle. Bit of a line up to get in but WELL worth the wait!! Thank you for the amazing breakfast!
Food Delivery Menu doesn t include the Rosa Benny eggs, my favourite breakfast!
This establishment really wanted me to place my order as i was next in line (was not busy at all). I didnt even sit down. As i type this, my food didnt arrive yet. Azzibel needs to be suspended effective immediately. Extreme lack of hospitality and professionalism. Well done to earn a pathetic review
I like the food , the place is busy and need air conditioning
The portions are bit small for the price. I ordered the rosa waffles and was not impressed by what was on it. I dont think it is worth 18 dollars, maybe 12 instead.
Very rich; good portions but the service is not good
There are 4 types of Eggs Benedict (salmon avocado, bacon, etc.), and you can choose between bagel and waffle (not sweet!). The Benedict sauce is delicious and comes with chili sauce for a different taste. There are 3 terrace seats available, first come first serve. It seems like they close early, so you need to be careful about their business hours.
Sunday morning breakfast awesome waffles and bennies. A must stop in Vancouver be warned sometimes there is a wait time
I didnt have the best experience there. They have put their menus in the walkway, you have to stand there and choose your food. People walk by every two seconds, and you should move and give the way. Service
I came here many years back and didnt really like the waffles but decided to come here again since I was in the area. I ordered the Huevos Ranchetos while my friend got the hot breakfast. Both were tremendously underwhelming. The beans were plain with no seasoning and everything was bland. My friends eggs were unseasoned as well. No wonder they provide salt and pepper at the table because they wont do it for you. Definitely not worth the $20 each. I dont plan on ever coming back.
The place is good, the waffles are delicious, and the service is excellent. Although it is busy, the wait in the line is not too long.
The food items are pretty basic with medium quality. Not bad but not good. Any other breakfast/brunch spot nearby serves better food. A bit overpriced for what they serve.
Salmon Bennie was delicious!
Food tastes okay (you don t say wow, but it s good to be fair), but the portions are very small and doesn t worth the price.
The place is super cute and well located. Food was on point, and the tea was delicious. Definitely recommend for a nice brunch. Menu is a bit repetitive, but that is expected from a place dedicated to waffles.
Ohh .. that is absolutely amazing place with so delicious food it was rainy day and still ladies agreed to serve me by outside table Ive enjoyed my breakfast Samy Benny with aromatic cappuccino portions are great and I could eat my tongue so yummy it was !!
Fast and fresh. Food tasted great. Waffles were wonderfully fluffy. Highly recommend!

Mini restaurant where the service is fast and efficient. Excellent food, light and tasty homemade waffle. To try
I came here around 12pm on a Saturday and it was busy. However, the process of getting a seat was quicker than expected, and while waiting in line we were able to look at the food menu and prepare our orders. Based on first impression I was doubting my choice of going here because the inside of the restaurant was very stuffy as there were no open windows. BUT, the food made up for it. I ordered a Salmon Benny on waffles and I thought it was overall quite good and my first thought was wow this is good so I guess that says something. Not too sure how I feel about the coffee drinks though because I ve definitely tasted better. Overall, great place and I would recommend. My biggest issue was the air flow but you get kinda used to it as you stay there longer. I just thought I would ve enjoyed my experience so much more if it wasn t so stuffy.
Le Petit Belge is a gem for Belgian cuisine enthusiasts and anyone looking for a cozy, gastronomic adventure. While it may not be an everyday dining spot for most, its a place to treat yourself and indulge in the rich and diverse flavors of Belgium. I left with a full belly, a happy heart, and a desire to return for more Belgian delights
Excellent service!
Perfect
Bacon waffle was delicious. So light
Went with my friends some days ago for brunch and had an unpleasant experience. We were on the waiting list for Cafe Medina more than an hour and no call. Therefore, we decided to go somewhere else as we were starving. Thats when we chose Le Petit Belge to give it a try. It was not too busy, just one couple waiting in the line. As soon as it was our turn, an Iranian woman (apparently the manager) at the counter demonstrated a rude attitude, more like giving orders rather than asking politely how she could assist us. In addition, my friend asked nicely if the orange juice was purely squeezed or mixed, and she replied condescendingly. You can see that there is an orange machine over there. The owner or top manager should give proper training for this specific employee since she mistreats the clients with her poor customer service skills. The food was good, and our server was absolutely friendly and attentive, but unfortunately, it was just a halfway experience due to our first interaction. I believe there are two key points to be a successful restaurant (food and service). In this case, the second one does not match the expectations. I do not recommend this place and definitely will not come back, even though food was good. its not enough to enjoy the full experience, as people tend to remember and go back where they are treated well.
What a hidden gem !! Love this place from food to service !! If I could give 6 stars , I would !! Great job ladies
Excellent service, delicious food, and cozy atmosphere.
50/50 experience. The breakfast bowl and orange juice were amazingly good. The waffle/bacon and hot chocolate were horrible. Waffle was tasteless. Spent $65. Not worth it. The place small, crowded and the service slow with attitude.
The food was amazing, I had a waffle with brie, honey and berries. The breakfast bowl was great. Would recommend for a quick breakfast. I wont give it a 5 star for the drinks. The chai tea was really weak, milk and a chai tea bag for $6 was not what I was expecting. The latte was also weak.
Very nice place, good food, no waiting time, friendly staff, quick service but slightly overpriced
Breakfast bowl was delicious. Potatoes are incredible. The sweet waffles are a dream! Highly recommend! Small and cute restaurant.
HAVE A BACKUP PLAN and don t be starving: They were full so we were waiting for a table to open. While waiting a group of 7 came in, we are two. When a table got up and left, they sat the 7 ahead of us. Even the group of 7 thought it was crappy and kept apologizing to us and they went up to order. I m sure this place didn t care they lost 2 customers over 7.
Not sure why this place is always busy. Below average food for a very high price. First time getting a table and we were quite disappointed.
Gross, not fresh and insanely overpriced. Do not recommend at all.
Breakfast bagel was the best ever!!
Absolute favourite brunch spot. Considerations: - long wait unless you go in late - small place so not great for large parties - order and pay in advance Favs: My Lady Waffles, Scrambles-style eggs and belgian hot chocolate
I like this European style spot. Quick but absolutely delicious breakfast. The waffle was so light and fluffy!
Love the food and the place, I got the my lady waffle, which is waffle strawberry whipped cream and chocolate mousse. It was delicious, I would go back again. This place is very busy and small so most of the time there s a line up, so not the place to go in a big group. I love that we line up and when a table get ready you order directly at the cashier and pay so when you are done eating you can just leave and it makes everything easier.
We got the breakfast bowl and ham benny and they are just amazing!!! I seldom give 5 stars but they deserve it! The hollandaise is sooo delicious and even the potatoes! The hot mocha is also goood. I would definitely recommend this place to get breakfast or brunch if you are in Downtown Vancouver. *chefs kiss
This place was extremely underwhelming and just an all around bad experience. DONT come here if you are gluten free. I asked for my breakfast bowl to be made GF, she just said no option for that . Ok why? she says it s normal for sausage to have wheat in it and this probably does . It s not unheard of for wheat to be in sausage but it s not overly common and normal . I had to ask her to check on that for me as she was not offering to check. The cook said there is gluten in the sausage so i instead got the Huevos Rancheros which was literally a can of black beans, salsa, half avo and an egg on top. No cheese, no hashbrowns and no flavour. ALSO they serve the plate with a little dipping cup of hot sauce balancing on the plate so of course it immediately gets knocked over and i m covered in hot sauce and my pants are garbage. Perfect time for someone to lock themselves in the only bathroom in the facility and clean when i m drenched in hot sauce. ALSO after alll that gluten talk earlier, they put two pieces of toast ON TOP of the food ??! What a slap on the face. The whole meal had to be thrown out. I suggest the staff actually learn whats on their menu and how to answer customers questions properly and with a friendly customer-service attitude instead of trying to make me solve the problem. I also suggest buying GF bread cause you d avoid this kind of review and you d make more money, no brainer. To top it all off, these small, bland servings were at least $22 each. Do not recommend
small space and always need to wait. but waffle is really good
Its a little restaurant and has great food. I had salmon Benedict and they had it on the waffle. This is the first time that I ate Eggs Benedict with waffles, and I am actually surprised how good it tastes. Great job, highly recommended.
You pay 18 CAD + taxes for a waffle with fruit and they serve you 1 waffle divided in 2. Not worthy. As the name says it in French, the place is tiny and it might take you a lot of time to get you in during brunch time and weekends Their bacon is pretty delicious and fresh avocados.
Good presentation of food Small & intimate dining place Food
The coffee and food were amazing! Very kind servers and great service all around. Probably the best huevos rancheros I ve ever had, thanks to the homemade salsa and fresh avocado. Also got the My Lady Waffle with the fresh whipped cream, mousse and strawberries. Honestly everything was perfect! Mochas were also fantastic.
Great food and service
Food was good quality but none of us finished our meals - the flavour just gets to samey to eat all of it. It was very expensive for a family of 4 to eat since they don t have child s menu. With drinks and meals it was $100 for breakfast, and we were not being crazy with what we ordered. We didn t see the wait to be seated when we came in, so we set the kids at the table so we could go up and order. However, one server said we had to get up from the table, which was fine, our mistake. We ordered and a few more groups came in behind us. The server that told us we couldn t sit at the table we wanted (by the window) sat us at the only other 4 person table. And then sat a single customer at the largest table. It felt like it was a bit intentionally passive aggressive, but it was a genuine mistake that we d sat the kids and hadn t seen the signage. We just wanted to sit by the window so we could people watch and enjoy our morning breakfast while in the city visiting. It s a cute restaurant and can be a great spot for couples.
Service was amazing. The food is good and could be improved.
This place is cute and love that you order first and bring it out so fast and amazing
Dont feel let down by the unfussy atmosphere, simple cutlery and menu, the food is excellent and the bill was fair for Downtown. The service was fast at the counter and friendly at the table but you cant stay long with the queue getting long on weekends. The veggie bowl came perfectly cooked with runny poached eggs in a hot plate while the chai was a real bag in hot milk, my friends had huge waffles they said were delicious, the bacon looked crispy.
The food was super delicious, we really enjoyed eating there and the coffee was delicious.
Le Petit Belge, located in front of the library on Robson Street, is a charming spot for brunch. Their Crab Waffle is a must-try, and their fresh squeezed orange juice is simply divine. Its the perfect place for a delicious and satisfying meal.
Had some savory dishes for brunch. Everything was great. Sweet waffles looked amazing as well, but we were definitely over-full after our first round of orders. Had a short wait, but things moved pretty quickly, service is fast.
First time coming to this restaurant and I was very satisfied with the food and service. The hostess was incredibly friendly and welcoming and the potatoes in their English breakfast were absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the visit!
So ever yummy
I love this place, first time i was try eggs benedict in my life and i love it, it was so delisious and big portion, i love the ambiance it is small place but so cute, i just want to sorry for mistakenly i forgot to tip i am new in town but next time I will compensate
Really tasty breakfast/brunch spot. Food and coffee were good. Small but efficiently run. The Sunk Cost Wait Scale; How long would I wait to eat here? <15min
Its a small place but its definitely worth it, the waffle is crispy with good flavor, Ill come back whenever I can.
Just had Huevos Rancheros. Incredible. Nice coffee as well
Awsome little restaurant in Vancouver. We all had the breakfast bowl. The food was delicious and the service was great. Fresh made orange juice and waffles looked amazing !!
A very beautiful place for breakfast. The menu is mostly consists of belgium waffles and bagles. Creamy Crab Benny is absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend. Good coffee as well. The place is not that spacy, so near 9am could be a line here, however, its definitely worth waiting. Ive been here twice with my family and spent around 25..30 CAD per person.
Delicious. Not the biggest place so gets busy. But worth the wait.
Cozy breakfast place with quick service.
Very rich breakfast, very friendly staff and they speak Spanish. The only but would be that it is a small place.
Waffles taste of rancid oil, and somewhat undercooked. Not great
Was attending the Shen Yun concert on Thursday March 21st with my BFF . Looking to find a place to have a quick lunch before the show when we happened upon this little gem. We shared the fresh fruit waffles which were scrumptious to the last bite. All the staff were courteous and friendly, even though it was very busy. Very cosy & clean. Would recommend anyone to visit here. My friend Sandy & I will definitely be hitting this place up again that s for sure.
After reading the reviews, we had to try the brunch and it didnt disappoint. The food was amazing, light and very flavorful. Definitely add to your list of places to eat.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would! This place is the definition of a good breakfast joint! Perfect egg bagel I had and an iced mocha ! I will be coming here forever ! Thanks ! Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie items on menu Dietary restrictions: Veggie and vegan options Parking: Lots of nearby parking Kid-friendliness: Kids items on menu Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access one floor wheelchair friendly
Quality of the food is very good, the staff is nice, and their Chocolate waffle are amazing!
Not bad but expensive for what you get
excellent very delicious food and good service Very delicious I recommend it!!!
Absolutely awesome little place. Great foot. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Quaint. Would go back.
The best place for breakfast!
Sweet waffles are very delicious. Good portions, while we were in line the attention was zero. No one tells you if the line is for dine-in or takeout orders. The Benny with meat and beans is not delicious, dont order it. Delicious drinks. Inside the place the waitresses are friendly and attentive. Yes I come back!!!
It s a gem for people who love trying different waffles. Their chocolate mousse is a must have. It s a very small place but food worth it.
Delicious. Its worth the line
This is a gem you must try!! We got the crab Benedict, bacon Benedict, and the majestic waffle. Phenomenal flavor, service, and experience!!
What a wonderful breakfast! I think I have found a favourite place for my future breakfasts when downtown. I love the layered Eggs Benny, with mushrooms and potato.
Came here on a Thursday late morning and most tables were full. It s quite a small space so I can see it being quite cramped when it gets busy. We had to share a larger table with another couple. My friend tried the Blackstone Benny and I had the Brie Waffle. The waffles were a bit different than I was expecting as they had a very crispy outside and the inside wasn t as doughy or thick as I was used to. The waffle didn t get soggy which was nice. Although the waffle was huge and it tasted fine, it didn t blow my mind and I think it was a bit overpriced for what it was.
Definitely like this cute brunch spot! Cozy and tasty!! Food
Super convenient if you re looking to grab a decent quick breakfast. You order at the till and grab a table if available. Food was 3.5/5. Portions are smaller than most breakfast restaurants but overall good experience!
I have been here more than a couple of times. I Love their Blackstone benny on waffle, absolutely delicious. The place is small and is jam packed on the weekends, with a big line up. But I would recommend this place in a heart beat if you are around the area.
Absolutely amazing little spot for a quick and delicious breakfast. I ordered the Blackstone Benny and an Americano. Both were phenomenal. The food came out super quick and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend.
This place should be called Le potato Ordered one breakfast bowl ( in the menu said lots of meat options in it but it was mostly all potatoes with a bit of sausage) Same as veggie bowl Didn t try the waffle though Also unlike most breakfast places they charge you separately for any kind of coffee and tea I wouldn t go back there The quality of food does not match with the prices
Cute brunch place next to the library. They serve Brussels waffles, have sweet and savory options and serve eggs in a variety of ways. I would have liked to see more creative flavor combinations, maybe pistachio, hazelnut, dark chocolate options. Overall, the food is fresh, tasty, and you cant go wrong with most dishes here but Id like to see bolder flavor choices being made. Nice interiors though, and friendly, cheerful service.
I ve visited this place with both friends and family numerous times, and I must say, the waffles are an absolute must-try. They re incredibly crispy and refreshing.
Very busy for a Monday morning. The staff was all over it though. They were slamming through customers with speed and precision. Food service was very quick for us. The price is a little steep, but everything tasted delicious. My wife and I agreed it was likely the best thing we ate all trip.
Best breakfast iv had in a long time
I went here five years ago with some friends from out of town, and the food and service set a high bar for our day exploring! I recently went back to try the savoury breakfast options and wasnt disappointed. As a local, I recommend tourists drop by at least once!
The food is nice. I like their waffles. The place is just kind of cramped during brunch. If youre okay with lining up to get a spot, then by all means, go and try it.
Amazing waffles, bennies and breakfast bowls! Do not turn down the freshly squeezed orange juice! Delicious!!
It was okay, but there was very little sugar and cream provided for the drinks, and it was hard to get more out of them. The food was also adequate, but nothing to write home about.
Food is decent, but nothing you can t find at other good brunch spots. I think it s a tad bit overrated. If there s a long wait, I d say it s not worth it
The wait was long, the food was mediocre; it tasted like they forgot the salt, and they acted like they were rationing sugar. Decent waffle with good texture but minimal favor. Disappointing smoked salmon. Overpriced. Will not return.
Amazing breakfast
Waffles are tasty. Tried a smoked salmon plate and it wasn t great. The arugula was not fresh on the plate and the potatoes didn t look appetite
Food was ok, average and overpriced. However the waffles just no!
Great service.
Delicious!! At a very reasonable price
Probably the best breakfast waffle I ve ever had! We split one savoury waffle and one dessert one with strawberries and chocolate. Absolutely delish and worth the wait!
A bit of a wait to get in, maybe 40 mins but soooo worth it. Food was delicious, staff was amazing. Great place eat. Well done.
Such light and crispy waffles We enjoyed our food so much that we went twice during our vacation. Food
I found the waffle to be mostly flavorless. I have no idea why this place is so highly rated. My guess is people are getting the ones that are mostly covered in chocolate so the waffle being flavorless doesnt bother them.
Excellent breakfast options. Prepare to queue, but it s worth it. Very friendly service too!
A very nice small place where you can get a delicious waffles, either sweet or salty, or benedict eggs! Me & my friend tried both, her savory waffles were unexpectedly delicious without being sweet at all! My eggs came with nice and well cooked potatoes, served on a bagel. Our coffee could have been stronger though, and refilled as we ordered dripped coffee.
I got the waffles with bacon and eggs. I don t think the waffles are quite like Belgian ones (those are a bit denser and sweeter) but for a breakfast item it was delicious. Smaller restaurant so try to get there before the crowds hit!
Small but very nice place with delicious fresh food and very quick and good service
Walked 3 bocks from the Sandman Hotel. First class gourmet quality ingredients, large portions, very tasty. It was an excellent surprise. We will definitely return. Food
There are better options a few blocks away for the amount of money you pay. Nothing was bad, just not impressed with the amount of effort that went into what you get. Maybe the waffles are better (I had the crab eggs benedict). Wheelchair accessibility: Its got a ramp
Such a cute and trendy restaurant! The food is amazing and they give deceptively huge portions, so pace yourself. The staff are all incredibly friendly and professional. We came to Vancouver on a 2 day trip and ate here twice, worth it both times.
A moment of silence for the creamy crab Benedict and latte, I don t think anyone can possibly match this, I highly recommend.
Cute little spot across from library square on Robson. Busy but high turnover spot with decadent dishes. Respectable and well made eggs with a good holondaise - bennies can be had served on light and fluffy waffles. You order and pay before we sit down. Vegetarian options: A few bowls/skillets available
Great waffles and breakfast right across from vancouver lubrary
Delicious little cafe. The food is so amazing. Have to go try yourself!
For those who would like to indulge in a luxurious breakfast.....Waffle was perfect. The English breakfast was on point. Coffees were excellent. Great job!
They definitely have one of the best lattes I have ever had. The crab benny is so rich with the big chunks of crab and the delicious hollandaise, but the added greens balance it out perfectly. The potatoes on the side are perfectly cooked and seasoned. Highly recommended.
Small, busy venue with hearty breakfast choices both sweet and savory. They have the lightest waffles made fresh. The eggs on top of the Benedict were literally piping hot. There was a massive portion of bacon on the blackstone...got it with the waffle on the side so it stayed crisp. The only bummer is that coffee is served with the small, individual serve plastic pots filled with creamer, so get a latte if you want milk. Order at the counter, then they seat you. The line was out the door by 9:30 on a Saturday morning. Not a place to stay and linger as they are trying to be efficient. So fresh and good all around. Delicious, you wont regret!
Amazing waffle. And ditto on the Latte. Bacon Waffle reasonably priced, float off the plate, and very ....... tasty. More Please Food
Absolutely loved everything all of my families meals were delicious
Busy place. But very quick service And big portion Food
Waffle was very airy and light and crisp, I loved it. Chai latte was not so rich, teabag with milk foam added kinda so that was not favorite. But waffle was good, breakfast bowl was good and hearty. Bacon sausage and ham?/canadian bacon? with potato, cheese baked on iron cast and egg and arugula on top.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Le Petit Belge, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. This charming Belgian restaurant exceeded all my expectations, and I cant wait to return. First and foremost, the ambiance at Le Petit Belge is warm and inviting. The cozy decor, complete with wooden accents and vintage Belgian posters, transported me to a quaint bistro in Belgium itself. The soft lighting and comfortable seating made for a perfect setting to enjoy a meal with friends or a romantic dinner for two. Now, lets talk about the food. The menu at Le Petit Belge is a true culinary journey through Belgium. From the moment I took my first bite, I knew I was in for a treat. The flavors were authentic and rich, just like the hearty dishes youd find in Belgium. The mussels, cooked in a flavorful broth with a side of crispy Belgian fries, were a highlight. The waffles, both sweet and savory, were nothing short of perfection, and the selection of Belgian beers was extensive and expertly curated. What sets Le Petit Belge apart is not just the delicious food but also the exceptional service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and well-informed about the menu, helping us make the best choices for our meal. They also made great recommendations for beer pairings, enhancing the overall dining experience. The attention to detail at Le Petit Belge is evident in everything they do, from the presentation of the dishes to the carefully curated Belgian music playlist in the background. Its clear that the team here is passionate about showcasing the best of Belgian cuisine and culture.
Literally AMAZING. Perfect breakfast place. Thank you.
If you are going on a Saturday expect a wait for a table. But the wait is worth it!! The waffles and the lightest ever and all the food is amazingly delicious!!
The good is really good and it was nice to check it out. The place is very small with only few tables so expect to wait in line in busy times. The staff was a bit distracted and misplaced the orders, but it was quickly fixed and we got to enjoy our breakfast.
Breakfast here is awesome. Their speciality is waffles - crispy and soft. You can have them sweet or savory. Food is fresh and delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
We went at 8:20 am. Family of 2 adults and children ($130). Breakfast with good presentation but with average flavor. High cost but it is average for Vancouver. Very good service, friendly and fast.
Oh boy those waffles! Quite a morning start of the day. If it wasnt clear, the waffles were good, the staff was quite nice and friendly and the place is the small kind of place you sit down and have a chat with your friends while enjoying the food.
Great food.
Wonderful food, the Royal Waffle is absolutely amazing. The cute cozy warm environment is so nice when dining in. The employees are super friendly and attentive. I works highly recommend coming to this spot when in Vancouver!
Amazing staff and food Love the smashed potatoes with cheese Food
Delicious brunch for two! We waited about 5 minutes, worth it for sure. A bit of a tight squeeze in the restaurant, not suitable for large groups unless you are willing to wait. Would recommend!
Im from Saskatchewan and ALWAYS stop here at least once when in town! Best Benny in town!
Very great place! Food is good. A little small but you dont wait for long!
Really good
Their My Lady Waffle is a must try! It is light, yet tasty and delicious. The location makes it a tad pricey for what it is. Overall it is a place to try.
