The views are nice but the food is quite average for a fancy restaurant. The place was too dark to my preference but it had a great night views of downtown Vancouver. I ordered a special that isn’t on the menu but found nothing too special in it. I also had the truffle mushroom soup but I think it needed more truffle flavor. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed the food. The service isn’t the fastest but it is reasonable as this isn’t a fast food restaurant after all. However, I felt our server was quite pushy for us to order a random item for each course. I just wished the waiter can offer a more genuine recommendation instead of insisting we order a drink, an appetizer and dessert. I’ll probably give this restaurant another try and probably try something in their menu.

Amazing food with excellent service!! Our server- Peter is very thoughtful. He brought me olive oil with vinegar for my bread as he remembers I have dietary restrictions. He also checked all my dishes to make sure they were dairy free. Definitely will go back!:)

We had such a great experience here! Great food, service and view. Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend the Duck confit hash from the brunch menu. A little heavy handed on our alcoholic drinks but at least we got our money’s worth;)

I had the Salmon Eggs Benny, excellent! Everyone at my table enjoyed their food immensely! We were on the patio, it was a nice day and I definitely recommend eating out there. Prices are reasonable, I honestly thought that the prices would be higher, pleasantly surprised! The perfect place to round off a day in the park!

After an intense pickleball session, a visit to Season the Park restaurant is a must! The beautiful scenery, both inside and out, creates a breathtaking atmosphere. The service was phenomenal—shoutout to our friendly waiter, Jack! We enjoyed a few beers and some appetizers that made our evening truly memorable. The menu has great options, making it perfect for date night or a post-exercise meal. Highly recommended!

Amazing first time experience at The Seasons. The seating was incredible with a stunning view of the city. The staff was extremely polite and caring. Most of all our waiter James was very helpful and light hearted which always makes a dining experience more wonderful. Definitely coming back hopefully sooner than later. 10 stars. Thanks a bunch James!

It was my first time at Seasons in the Park, and the experience was lovely. The views are absolutely stunning. However, I have to start by mentioning that the hostesses were surprisingly rude to one of the members of my party. It was an unpleasant start that almost made us leave, but we decided to stay because we really wanted to try the restaurant. Thankfully, our server was very friendly, as were the rest of the staff. The food was excellent and helped make up for the rocky beginning. I’ll definitely come back, but I sincerely hope the hostesses are more welcoming in the future.

We were invited to a Christmas party there. Unique location with warm, cozy, and lovely place and perfect hospitality. Waitress was a dissident man, with very good manners. Anything we ordered, wed have it at a blink. Soup and desert were super delicious. But, I didnt like the stake and lamb rack very much. The valet was great, however expensive. The free parking stalls were far from the restaurant. Therefore, it might be difficult with high heels to walk through.

Great place for lunch, brunch or dinner. Dinner could be pricey but lunch and brunch prices in line with other high end burger or brunch places. Plus you get great view and comfortable seating rather than in a crowded little bistro. Post pandemic update: Everything said before still holds true post pandemic except with post pandemic inflation. The service was excellent. Server refilled water and checked if we needed anything often enough. Mussels were excellent. Loved the broth so much as I tried to suck it up into the bread. Seafood Carbonara was excellent. We switched out spaghetti with the gluten-free option, which turned out to be penne, but it was done well. Tenderloin was excellent. Didnt want fries or mashed potatoes, so it was fortunate they had roasted fingerling potatoes listed on another dish, so I subbed that in. Parking near 33rd Ave/Kersland Dr and walked up as usual. 2024-12-12: Just had our company Christmas lunch here and although the mealtime service was great and the food was great, I am a little disappointed on how this event started. We made a reservation weeks in advance and arrived on time to find the table(s) not ready for us. I was even late to arrive and still we had to wait at least 20 to 30 min more for our table which seemed like they didnt set aside a section for us like they had in previous visits. I remember we had our luncheon here twice before (pre-pandemic) and both were with rectangular tables pushed together so our large group could sit together. Since the pandemic we generally ate at the Teahouse and that was how they arranged our reservation. This time the staff seemed to want to seat us at two round tables, at least they were next to each other. Eventually the first became available but the second had people who were taking their time leaving. The host (manager? I didnt see name tag) didnt want to intrude on them but our manager gave them a few minutes but then insisted that he talk to them to leaving as we had a reservation and everybody had metered-parking (except for me, see my notes above). The meal was good, I had the salmon burger and shared the asparagus dish with another person. The burger would have had a bit more coleslaw as a burger dish on its own but was fine since we were sharing an asparagus dish also. The asparagus was really good too with its chargrilled flavour and sprinkled cheese (parmesan?). The service staff were generally good, we had 3 that I could remember: the first server gave the specials but didnt know the price of the Arctic Char but said shed ask about the price but never got back to me. A second took drink orders and a third, final, server took our food order and served us the rest of the time. Plus, the serving staff each apologized for our wait at the start of this event. We didnt get charged gratuity. Some suspected it was compensation for our reservation being mishandled, but I think they just forgot. If the management really wanted to compensate us, they could, at least, send a shareable appetizer like the brussel sprouts or asparagus to each table. This way, its the management taking responsibility without hurting the serving staff by possibly denying some gratuity/tip as the lowest tier tip on the charge machine is 15%. In summary, food good, service staff, good-ish (first server lowered the rating), ambiance: good (we got tables the smaller room rather than the main dining room), but the start was not good and I blame that gentleman that we interacted with at the start or whoever decides the tables knowing theres a reservation of a big party. Parking: Nearby and in the park is all paid parking. Free residential street parking outside on 37th Ave.

Seasons in the Park has an amazing location with stunning views perfect for a date night or special occasion. However, the food was just okay at best, and the service was pretty average. Youre definitely paying for the atmosphere more than the food. If youre looking for a spot with a romantic setting and great views, its worth a visit, but don t expect anything special from the menu.

I made a reservation to celebrate my birthday. I heard the view was good, but unfortunately we sat at a table inside and there was a pillar right next to it so we couldnt see the view very well I ordered Filet Neptune and Steelhead Salmon and ordered a non-alcoholic drink with raspberry and mango syrup(?). The drink was very delicious, but there was something that looked like a bug on the top right side of the drink, so I asked about it and they kindly changed it for me. The explanation was that it was part of a mint. The Humboldt Squid & Prawns I ordered as an appetizer was really delicious, and I especially liked the combination with the spicy sauce. The shrimp were crunchy and the squid was very soft, making it easy to chew. I was a little disappointed that the main menu was smaller than expected, but the meat was very tender! However, it was unexpected because the crab came on top of the steak instead of with the shell attached to it as I expected. I feel like it was a bit disappointing considering the price. At first, the server asked if there was any anniversary that he should know about, so I told him it was my birthday, but there was no additional service provided. Another table was given a cake with candles, but I guess that had to be ordered separately. Next time I go, I plan to sit outside! It may be windy, but there is a fireplace and the view outside seems much better. We paid $18 for parking and both cash and cards were accepted! Since its a restaurant inside a park, it would be nice to take a walk before or after eating! If you go in the evening, its really nice to see the night view Parking: It said valet parking, but I dont think there was any such service, perhaps because we didnt know about it and couldnt use it. The price paid was $18. I think you can use both cash and cards!

The food and view were amazing, but our service was borderline average. Furthermore, I have mentioned to one of the worker there standing close to the washroom (she is Caucasian) that there were dirty diaper left in the toilet seat in the family toilet. November 23, 2024

As we came here for our wedding anniversary last year and had a wonderful time, we decided to return this year. The food and atmosphere were fine, but the service was very disappointing. As someone who has worked in the food and beverage industry, I rarely leave bad reviews as I don t want to get anyone in trouble, but this experience really dampened our evening. Although we arrived early, we waited 15 minutes because we requested a table by the window and it was not vacated as quickly as anticipated by staff. Our prime rib dinner arrived without the proper utensils and when we finally spotted our server, his excuse was that he didn t expect the food to arrive so quickly (it was not quick). Our server happily agreed to take some photos for us from my phone, but they all turned out blurry and I had to ask another server to retake them for us. The service was slow and we felt rushed to finish our meal and settle the bill since our two hour paid parking was to expire shortly. The most awkward part of the evening was when the server ran after us in the parking lot in the pouring rain because he had given us the wrong bill and requested us to pay the difference on the spot! While I can sympathize with the server, who was an older gentleman, his lack of enthusiasm, absent mindedness, rare appearance and attention in the dining area and slow pace is perhaps a sign that he should be retiring.

Consistently one of the top restaurants in Vancouver. The setting is bar-none and the service and food never disappoint. Who doesn t enjoy a white tablecloth setting with sweeping views of the city, great cocktails and and perfectly poured wine? The Seasons mushrooms are worth the decadence, I can t get the demiglaze on the rack of lamb out of my mind, the seasonal summer salads are always so fresh and the sablefish is amazing as well. This restaurant has been a spot for wonderful summer lunches on the patio, romantic candlelit dinners, large birthday luncheons, Mother s Day brunch, and so many other special occasions in my life. Seasons in the Park is my spot, I love it!

Food was decent but the service was terrible. Waiter was rude he never introduced himself or today s special like he did for the other tables. Would take forever to refill our glasses. I get it if he was like that to everyone but he wasn t and only acted that way to us. We were the only all Asian table he took care of and I hope that was not the reason why. You can just feel his unpleasantness and also we left cash at the table but he implied we were dining and dashing. Sure he could have misunderstood but I think there could have been a way he approached the subject in a more polite way. Anyways every other staff was lovely and it s a shame the waiter ruined our experience.

The food is always delicious but it was the gesture from the waiter, Merak, that made the eating experience so meaningful. Of course he give us excellent service, but when he realized that the flowers that were given to one of the diners was for his wife who is recovering from Chemotherapy, he brought us a delicious chocolate dessert. That was so very thoughtful and made the dining experience 10 out of 10.

On Oct 19th 2024, I was supposed to elope outside in the park. However, it jus so happened that unbeknownst to us that it was the day we were supposed to get atmospheric rain and it started POURING. Myself, my groom, our children and small wedding party started to get soaked. Seasons accommodated short notice, preparing the lounge for 12+ people. By the fireplace so we could dry off and warm up. We had tea and coffees and got the children something to eat to help warm them up. They showed us tremendous kindness and service throughout the situation and allowed us to complete our small ceremony in the restaurant. I will definitely be back when in a dryer state haha. But I cannot thank Seasons enough for the incredible empathy and kindness they showed us. You guys helped turn my day from disastrous to a fond memory I can laugh about as a good story! Much love, and thank you again! From the bottom of my heart! Kid-friendliness: The staff were to courteous and kind to my children. One of my closest cousins, whom I have not seen for 12 years, invited us to this top tourist attraction for lunch. Located inside QE Park and perched atop a knoll. This restaurant, recognized by most as one of the most beautiful in Vancouver, was supposed to offer breathtaking vistas of Vancouver and some refined Northwest cuisine. Sadly, our visit was shrouded in thin, low lying clouds and haze, obstructing the priced view from our window table, Vancouver s skyline and gorgeous nearby mountain view! Being on the west coast, for lunch, it was a no-brainer for me to order a Dungeness Crab Cake starter followed by grilled wild west coast Halibut. Unfortunately, the outcome for both dishes was quite disappointing. Though the taste profile was acceptable and good, my crab cake was stingy in size and the expected presence of chunky and sweet Dungeness crab meat pieces, used to make up the assemblage of the cake, was lacking. In their place, only tiny bits and fragments of crab meat were noticed. The no filler, all lump crab meat, near triple sized creation I had onboard my NCL cruise ship a while back, was way more generous, impressive and tasty! Our grilled Halibut steaks were also not up to par. Whilst mine was overcooked and dry, my wife s portion was not only overcooked, the fish texture was mushy! The same overcooked result also applied to my cousins party s wild Sockeye Salmon. Fortunately, our desserts of cheesecake and dark chocolate cake fared better! In short, by all means drive up to the park for great views and relaxing strolls around the spectacular gardens. However, if one is a foodie and intends to eat at the restaurant, I would give it some serious thought before making the decision! Order carefully and wisely! Caveat Emptor!

We had a wonderful meal and great service. But unfortunately at the end of the meal when were having our coffees they did not bother to give us a free dessert. It offers alfresco dining with fireplace too, if only the weather is better less rain and wind, sitting outdoor is prob amazing for breakfast and lunch to enjoy the food, sun and vibe all in all.

We were greeted by the hostess with a warm smile and brought to a table with a beautiful view of Vancouver and surrounding mountains. When my daughter ordered a drink the waitress told her the drink was too strong for her and told her to order something else. She politely declined to drink since she couldn t have what she wanted. She then ordered the caesar salad and the waitresses said that s all you want. You don t want chicken or anything on it. I guess being vegetarian is not popular around there. The rest of the family order dishes with meat and they were good. My wife had a glass of wine but was never offered another one. The food and view were great but the treatment of my daughter left a dark cloud over the evening. My daughter felt judged and uncomfortable.

Went to Seasons on a long weekend Saturday around 7 PM, was able to get a table on the patio with no wait time. Our server was kind and attentive, very lovely to have for the meal. I got the 10 oz steak, and my partner the sablefish. Both were delicious, and did not take too long to arrive after ordering. The grapefruit spritz is worth a try for anyone loving that during the summer. The view on the patio is gorgeous during sunset, highly recommend. Dietary restrictions: Staff were very accommodating to my partners dairy allergy when brought up, and checked with kitchen. Gluten and vegetarian are marked on the menu.

A gem of a place. My husband and I have visited this place before and eaten lunch there several times. It is always a good idea to book a time slot because it does get busy. We sat out in the patio and had a wonderful and relaxed time. The food was excellent and our server Jack was very attentive and a great guy. The crab cakes were delicious and my husband chose duck while I had a salad that had tofu in it and was vegan. I had tea and I have to tell you the tea leaves they use is really high quality and so satisfying. If you are looking for a special place where you can sit outside and get a panoramic view of Vancouver, look no further. This is a very special place and must be experienced.

Nice classy place to celebrate a milestone birthday. Appetizers we ordered were wonderful. However, the Sunday Prime rib special was underwelming, and the yorkshire pudding included on the plate was not very tasty (scrapped after tasting 1 bite). Fantastic view of downtown Vancouver, and a 5star atmosphere.

The service here is really bad, when I need to pay the bill, I mentioned to the male service three times, each time more than 10 minutes apart, he is still talking to other local customers. It makes me feel sooo bad for the point. He didnt say any thanks or sorry when paying the bill. I regret giving him a tip cause he didnt deserve it.He is about thirty or forty years old.I wish this restaurant had some basic standards for service staff, totally disrespectful.

Go your way. Im putting one star because I cant put 0 for the inaccurate information about this restaurant. Their website says tea time and so you expect to be able to have coffee, tea and pastries. But in fact, they havent been doing teatime for a long time. Just a 3 course dinner. At 4 oclock in the afternoon, not really what were looking for. And no possibility of just having a drink and a dessert. The waitress at the entrance is also very uninviting. A smile, an apology is a minimum. It doesnt make you want to go there. I cant rate the cuisine, I didnt taste it. Came expressly for teatime...

Been here many times over the years (hint: try the Sunday night prime rib). A bit touristy but offers a nice view right in the heart of Queen Elizabeth Park. Came by recently for brunch and had the French toast with bacon and blueberry compote as well as the smoke salmon Benedict. Really liked the potato latke they used instead of a standard English muffin as it gave each bite a nice crispness to the texture. Perfectly runny yolk. Update April 2024: Dropped by for an early dinner to celebrate the end of our 9-to-5 lifestyle. Beautiful views still (although the trees have grown a bit and blocks some of the views that were used to). Beef carpaccio ($22.5) with truffle aioli and capers was very thin and light. Both cocktails that we had were refreshing (Cranberry Jenny and mango mint spritzer). Ordered the 10oz Fraser Valley pork chop ($34.5) with mac n cheese, mango and green apple chutney. The pork was tender and juicy and the chutney was really good. The arctic char was good too. For dessert, we had the sunburst lemon pie which had a tasty creme brulee like topping.

Half of the seatings has a great view and the 4 of us was in the Skyline room. A bit loud when its full because of all the glass windows. The staff was extremely friendly. My $22 QE burger (grass-fed beef) was a very good deal. It was juicy and delicious this time so I think everything has improved and has caught up to the other Sequoia Company restaurants. For a restaurant in a beautiful park with an incredible view of Vancouver, the best features are its service and food. For brunch, lunch and dinner, I have found the food to be fresh, flavorful and with many local ingredients. Marek has been our waiter a couple times now and he authentic and friendly. None of the worn out opening line of Hi. My name is ______ and I will be your waiter tonight. Marek overheard me ask my husband to order my drink as I left the table to go to washroom and it was at my place before I returned! My husband had not said a word to Marek. That is great service and it was a good G+T to boot. I frequent and recommend Seasons in the Park. (FYI - You do not have to pay for valet. There is paid parking in the park giving you a nice short walk before dinner.) If you can get into Mareks service area your dining experience will be topped off with a dash of charm and warmth.

It was my best friends birthday, and we chose this restaurant based on my sisters recommendation. Our waiter seemed indifferent and uninterested in our experience. He neglected to refill our drinks, didnt check on the quality of our food, and coming to our table really rare. We had high hopes for this dining experience, especially since it was a birthday celebration, but the service fell far short of acceptable. Despite making a reservation for a birthday celebration, no special effort was made to acknowledge the occasion. Even worse, we encountered a mouse that ran under our table. This was a major turn-off and understandably put us off from staying for dessert. When we mentioned this to the staff, expecting at least some acknowledgment or gesture of goodwill, we received nothing more than a uh-huh. Overall, while the food was good, the service was lacking, and we left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return in the future.

It wasnt busy this afternoon when our group came for lunch and the server Rami wasnt professional at all, seems like he is doing this as part time job. Didnt even remember what our individuals order, service was slow, had to keep asking for refilling our water. Most importantly, my order wasnt prepared because server mistakenly got the wrong order. Our group had waited long enough for the entrees, and I had to wait another 15~20mins for my order. Food and atmosphere were good but lack of service.

Very disappointed with the service. As we entered, started coughing and sneezing. At first I thought my allergies but when we were seated, the place was so filthy, as if it was not cleaned as we got the corner seats. So much dust with customers with their pets on their chairs I managed to seat and relax from my coughing. Upon ordering the food, the bread came first. The taste of food wasnt that amazing. It was my birthday and we looked forward to dine here but we ended up not even having a desert because of how average everything tasted and how we felt not so welcomed. Never coming back here!!!

July 23, 2024

It s very sad that I have to write this review. I usually don t complain but this restaurant disappointed me very much. I had high expectations, heard it from friends and from google search. I had booked it for my boyfriend s birthday as a surprise dinner and was hoping for good service since it s a fine dinning restaurant. But ever since we walked in, from host to server, nobody was very interested in greeting or smiling. The server whose job is to serve didn t serve us food, kitchen staff did. Then i wonder why we tipping the server even though she didn t do her job, neither provide good service neither serve food. It s very sad the service industry is falling to very minimal standards and still expecting more in tips. The kitchen staff was nice and friendly and was serving food to almost every table. It s a shame that even after eating here we had to go to Wendy s afterward to grab some comfort food. I would not be coming here ever again.

We encountered a spoiled steak today; the entire piece of meat emitted a rancid smell and tasted terribly bad. However, both the waiter and the manager insisted that this was a normal taste, with an extremely arrogant and rude attitude. I have been to this restaurant dozens of times. The scenery is beautiful, and most of the food tastes great. It used to be one of our family s favorite restaurants. But today s incident was extremely outrageous! A minor food issue is not a big deal, and if we had received an apology and a replacement with acceptable food, it would have been enough. But the waiter s response was completely hostile, insisting that a completely spoiled piece of meat was normal. Note that this was a completely spoiled piece of meat, not just slightly off the foul smell was very obvious! This is the first time in my life encountering such terrible restaurant service. Today was truly a horrible day!

Steak was cooked to perfection but fries were not great. Duck was extremely overcooked. No one asked us if we d like anything or checked on us. We had our anniversary dinner here and over all our dinner was an ok experience. Alma our server was great, however there was a young girl who brought us our dinner and then our desert who was very rude. She literally just dropped our dinner plates on our table! It was such an odd thing to do. We had to laugh out loud the second time she did that (when she dropped our dessert plate in front of us). We thought that she was probably having a bad day but still, this was something we didnt expect at Seasons. Food was not bad, although we were trying to understand why the Sable fish (which was great) was served with plain white rice! It looked like it came out of our rice cooker at home. We were surprised at that because again, something that was not expected. We also wondered why the valet parking was more expensive for dinner over lunch!!! Atmosphere was marked down as the place is in need of a facelift. For example, just dont look up at the sky light in the centre of the restaurant. Just an honest opinion. While the location is great, we just felt that the overall experience compared to the Tea House in Stanley Park, fell short.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding here on June 8, 2024, and it was an unforgettable experience! First and foremost, the view was absolutely stunning and the interior decor was beautiful, creating an incredibly romantic atmosphere. We only needed to add a centerpiece flowers to enhance the already lovely setting. The food was fantastic! Our guests couldnt stop talking about the phenomenal sablefish, and while the panna cotta dessert wasnt my personal favorite, it was still quite good. Its difficult to get good food like this if you host your wedding at a Banquet Hall or hotel. The staff were outstanding attentive, communicative, and always ready to accommodate our needs. Their updates and confirmations put my mind at ease, especially since I was a bit anxious about everything going smoothly. Although the event managers e-mail response time was slow at times, she ensured that everything was arranged as planned. Pricing was another pleasant surprise. Despite being a fine dining restaurant, their costs were comparable to, if not lower than, many other venues. With 3-course meal plans ranging from $79 to $109 per person, it was a excellent value for the quality provided. The only minor drawback was the audio system. Their the mic, music input, and video projector sound cant be connected to the speaker simultaneously. Every time you want switch to use the mic, play music or play the video, you need to ask the server for assistance. This took a bit of time and was slightly inconvenient. Overall, our experience was wonderful! We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host a memorable wedding.

Nowhere near as good as 10 years ago. Now it just seems like an average spot for pub food with an amazing view. Food was pretty subpar. Ordered an item from the daily special. Salmon was grilled for at least a few minutes too long, risotto was ok. Carrots looked like they were plopped onto the plate straight from the ground, which isn t something I d expect in a dish for $39. Service was not good, waitress that brought in the dishes hit my head with my dish and pretended nothing happened. No water refills and no one really checked up on us. Originally, I thought the service and meals of this restaurant were very good in all aspects, so I chose to spend our wedding anniversary here tonight, but when I met another waiter, he was a fat white uncle in his 50s and 60s . My mood was in a terrible mood! There may be something wrong with the communication. The reason is that my child s children s meal came. He didn t have any tableware , so he asked him to bring a fork. He misheard it and thought it was an order! I didn t ask clearly at all! Just place an order and send it to me. We were stunned at that time. We were almost full. I didn t order anything. I told him well, who knows, and then his attitude was very bad, so loudly accusing: pointing his finger at our family and saying that it was my son ordered it. He was very sure. Oh, my God, you are an adult. My son is just an eight- or nine-year-old child, and you are there yelling at him ! You are a completely unededable person! I really don t know how to describe you? Originally, my husband thought forget it. If it s wrong, it s wrong. Let s admit it ourselves! But I m very unconvinced. Fortunately, another waiter appeared at that time, as if it was called S... A younger white man appeared politely! Just say it doesn t matter. If you order the wrong one, you will order the wrong one. Just take our meal back to calm down the storm! But it has seriously affected our mood. In the future, I don t think I will recommend this restaurant to anyone again, and I also think that your older white waiters discriminate a little against us foreigners... And then the older super rude white fat uncle will not have the whole process. There is no service with us, no greetings or smiling faces.

I had my birthday celebration at Seasons in the Park and it was fantastic. The New York strip loin was delicious and tender, definitely a must-try. The prawn sizzle was good but could use a bit more flavor. The cocktails were also really good. The atmosphere and view were amazing, making it a great place for a special occasion. Note: There is a valet parking for $18
