Simple, fresh, local and handcrafted. Our waterfront Vancouver restaurant, ARC, is the perfect West Coast Setting to enjoy urban artisan food. Made with locally sourced ingredients, some from our very own rooftop herb garden and beehives, our food is rivaled only by our stunning harbour and mountain views.
Pradeep is an amazing server and made us feel very welcome. First time at the restaurant for the weekend. Brunch and everything was delicious and the timing was awesome. Would definitely go back for special events and had a delicious time.
If you want to try a variety of food, you have to try their bottomless weekend brunch. Everything was so tasty and portions were good. Quality was also superb! Service was of course excellent as well and you also get to have a nice view outside. My fave was the lobster mac and cheese ☺️
We came in for the bottomless brunch, a flat rate of $65 ($32 for kids, 5- eat free) per person. Our favourite dishes were the chicken waffles, lobster mac and cheese, and short rib poutine. Portions are generous so you won't be able to try the entire menu. The food was amazing but the value was just okay. The atmosphere is bright and modern with a great view out Canada Place and the harbour and the service is prompt and professional. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a high end place in the heart of Vancouver! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Exceptional service from Emilee. Came here to celebrate my parent’s anniversary and she was so welcoming and treated our table very well. We ordered the seafood tower which was pretty good followed by a bunch of main courses and dessert. I thought the mains were okay. I wasn’t a huge fan of the lind cod mixture of the sauces. I did however enjoy the desserts at the end of the night!
We loved it. Everything we had was excellent. The servers were very friendly and helpful, tables are not too close to each other. We will recommend and we will come back to this place!
The weekend bottomless brunch is a must try. We went to celebrate our anniversary at ARC recently and went for the $65 per person brunch. Their dishes are served tapas style, smaller in size so you can try more of their menu. We tried all 15 items on the menu and could not finish it all. Everything was delicious, but the standout items for us were the fried chicken on waffle, the buttermilk biscuits with honey butter, and the ooey gooey skillet. Wonderful service, beautiful views, delicious food. Thank you for making our anniversary celebration so memorable. We will be back!
Service was great, prompt seating, fast to table orders, attentive and talkative. Food was good, but a little cold, food came out warm as if it had been sitting awhile, flavours were rich and heavy exactly what you want for Sunday brunch, we tried to eat the whole menu, wasn’t happening, take your time ordering so the food isn’t cold. Mimosa flight was great, small but flavourful. Definitely worth the 65$ price for bottomless breakfast! Enjoy the view
If you’re looking for a great bottomless brunch in the heart of downtown this is a fantastic place. I love a good ol’ west coast style brunch. The restaurant is bright and lit up. The service is amazing and very professional. The quality of the items are high standards. Some may not agree with the price but you can never go wrong with treating yourself out. It’s always a great and positive experience here. Parking is tight around here but they do have a paid parkade. Reservations are a must. You’re always seated promptly. Very high standards here. Even their restroom facilities are spotless and checked consistently. I felt very comfortable and cozy here.
The 3 course dinner was amazing, Jule the waitress was very kind. I had a great moment with my family. Thank you for a happy birthday in Vancouver !
Great food and service.
Steak is dry and greeting girl seemed impatient Don t recommend it at all Food
Good atmosphere.
I was expecting much more from fine dining restaurant. Service was cold and slow and the same goes for the whole atmosphere. The food was ok but nothing extraordinary.
ARC Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a modern ambiance and exceptional service. The menu features fresh, locally-inspired dishes and a great selection of drinks. Highly recommended!
Family gathering of 20 plus guest in private room. Eating a three course meal, with two wines, two mains, two desserts . Of course we all mingled all through the meal. Servers were amazing, confidently struggling to keep pace with our chaotic rearranging of our selves. A terrific job! Please make sure the entire team hears how much we appreciated their patient professionalism. The food itself was shelf! Clam chowder with a widd spectrum of different notes garnished with a delicious olive oil which I must taste again, usually an industrial space filler at a lot of restaurants this alone was worth the visit!
Our waitress was the best! The food was a bit overcooked though. A nice place for a holiday dinner.
An awesome setting at the foot of the Fairmont. The food is great and the service was exceptional and attentive. Thank you for a great experience !
We love the bottomless brunch here. The food is always delicious and top notch service every time. #ContestReview
ARCs bottomless brunch delivers indulgent dishes, with standouts like the short rib poutine, 6 bone marrow, buttermilk fried chicken, lobster mac and cheese, and buttermilk biscuit. The berry smoothie was a refreshing touch. While the menu leans a bit carb-heavy, each dish is well-executed and full of flavour, making for a satisfying and memorable brunch experience. #ContestEntry
We went for our anniversary and had the bottomless brunch. Service and food were amazing.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Fairmont Waterfront last weekend and absolutely loved our meal at ARC. The atmosphere was wonderful with a live guitar player serenading guests during dinner. Our server, Jennifer, was an absolute joy. We enjoyed our visit thoroughly and will definitely be back in the future.
I had brunch on Sunday with my friends, and everything seems amazing. But unfortunately I had issues with the food. A little while after eating I started throwing up and feeling extremely sick. We all ordered most of the same plates, but I was the only one that tried the chicken and the only one to get sick after, so I imagine the chicken was the issue. I started feeling better Monday end of the day, it was awful. Our server was amazing tho
I attended a birthday party and had the falafel burger with a side of tomato soup. Both the burger and the soup were perfect no complaints at all. The service was excellent, and the server was super friendly and attentive!
Great place, awesome view, high end, pleasant. Enjoyed the oysters alot and the korean cauliflower during a quick happy hour. Drinks were not bad during happy as I d return again and try the popular bottomless brunch.
We came in for their breakfast buffet which ran from 7am to 11am. Our server, I think her name was Millan, was fabulous! She was very friendly and attentive. They had self serve options such as various juices, pastries, eggs, meats, and gluten and some that were made to order such as eggs benedict, pancakes, avocado toast and omelettes. I thought all the food was decent for what it was. The avocado toast to order and potatoes at the self serve section stood out to me. I would definitely come back as the service was really good and I d like to give their weekend brunch buffet a try.
Amazing breakfast buffet. A la carte items were pretty good across the board - especially benedicts, French toast and the omelettes. The buffet itself had great variety; dont sleep on the sauteed mushrooms - the very best weve ever had on a buffet. Alcina gave the best service. Warm and friendly, so cute and funny! She made our day! Keep up the great work!
Their food sucks. Bread is so dry and cold. Not worth it, not coming back ever again. What a waste
It was an overall good experience staying at Fairmont Waterfront. We ordered breakfast for two at the ARC, and mine came out great. I got classic eggs benedict, hollandaise sauce was flavourful and done right, eggs were poached to perfection but horrible experience for my friend who got classic breakfast, if i had ordered same breakfast i would have puked, sausage taste was that bad and same applies to bacon. Atmosphere was fine but nothing you would remember and want to go back to. Service was great. This would have been a five star rating if I was dining by myself.
This is a very nice place right across from the Canada Place Port. The food was good as was the service and atmosphere. But let not kid ourselves. This place is expensive. $34 dollar breakfast. Food
Food was okay and as expected for a hotel restaurant. Breakfast buffet was first come first serve and gets busy - nice to have self serve and also ordered items (like French toast) included in the buffet.
I would to thank Shannon for the most amazing experience at the Fairmont. She provided such warm and friendly hospitality and made me feel welcome and comfortable. She remembered me which made me feel very special. She is a keeper and great at her job. Thank you Shannon.
Great food !! Had gluten free toast avocado and poached egg. Avocado yogurt was amazing too with pumpkin seeds and grated coconut. Catie our server was Awesome!!
Very few people having breakfast not busy at all, hostess said this restaurant was for people with rooms at the hotel only. Starbucks was across the street so we went there.
Fantastic food and service, what you pay is worth it! We went to the Sunday bottomless brunch and enjoyed an amazing amount of items of high quality and fabulous taste. The staff is very friendly and provide a wonderful service, overall great experience.
This is a hotel restaurant in a very busy area and the restaurant was pretty full and the noise level was energetic. If youre looking for somewhere low-key or quiet Id avoid this during the tourist season. That being said if youre looking for good food and variety and service at an approachable upscale environment before or after cruising this is your bet. Here the key is service and location... both excellent.
Try the grilled cheese! Delicious and simple!
I went here for my birthday dinner a few nights ago. The service was amazing. Our server was incredibly attentive and kind towards us for the entire evening. We ordered the mule and sangria to start and they were good. Unfortunately the food was very unpleasant. We ordered the carpaccio to start the quality of the bison was way to low since it was very gamey and the toppings on it were quite bland. My boyfriend ordered the wagyu burger and again the meat very gamey. The burger overall was very fatty and difficult to eat. The burger was definitely not worth 50 dollars. I ordered the mushroom rigatoni. The noodles were undercooked, the sauce was watery and bland and sat in the bottom of the bowl and did not cling onto the noodles. The pasta was 30 dollars and again not worth it. We also got a side of rapini and it was very obvious that it was frozen then cooked. They let us pick a dessert at the end of the night and it was lovely. The the lemon butter cake was amazing. However, for how expensive the food was, we will not be coming back again. The quality and taste of the food is WAY to low to justify the price.
I came here for breakfast during my stay at Fairmont Waterfront. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of dishes to chose from. I had eggs florentine, avocado toast, and blueberry pancakes as suggested by the server and blueberry smoothie. Overall it was a hearty breakfast before my flight back to Toronto. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Food very good the service exceptional (Roberto) as improvement it was cold and a little bit dark
Quickly becoming one of my favorite brunch spots in Vancouver. Im there practically weekly at this point. I start craving that lobster Mac and the bone marrow come Friday.
Had an enjoyable late lunch experience at ARC today. We liked how they had two menus going, one for unlimited brunch and the other for lunch. My SO ordered their unlimited, all-you-can-eat brunch, and I opted for the beef burger. The weekend lunch menu looked rather limited and it was mostly burgers. Id prefer a more expansive menu with more options.
Exceptional food and wine with superb service. The venue is awesome! Food
Heres the issue - brunch is outrageously priced with virtually no really healthy options (unless you order the bottomless brunch for $65 per person where you can get bircher muesli). $65 for a brunch (no matter if its bottomless) is far too much. The a la carte choices are all too much food and nothing is priced less than the high $20s - they are trying to convince you to choose the $65 option by offering poorly curated alternatives. No fruit salad; no yogurt; no granola. Just over-sized, over-priced meals. I will not return.
Relaxing Sunday to try all you can eat brunch. Enjoyed all menu items. We did triple take on lobster Mac n Cheese.
Arc is a classy restaurant in the Fairmont Waterfront hotel. We enjoyed cocktails and snacks at the bars served by a very friendly and professional bartender. They have a nice outdoor seating area. The interior is very well appointed.
Great food, great service - we will return. We were seated outside on the patio, Vivian was our server. We ordered Kids pancakes, salmon benedict, and avocado toast. Food was great and service exceptional!!!
Came here for brunch. This place is a tourist trap. VERY overpriced food, but the quality of the food was shockingly bad. Our server was nice enough to keep bringing us more food to compensate, but we didn t need more as everything tasted supermarket-bought. If you live in Vancouver, just avoid this as we have far better options for brunch than this.
Really nice atmosphere, clean. Super service from Arvin who made sure that our meal was memorable. He made some great suggestions and wanted us to experience the full deal. Thanks again Arvin from Jeremy and fam!
We booked the private room for an intimate wedding reception dinner. The atmosphere, staff and set menu was incredible! We will definitely be back!! Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options on menu, and ability to accommodate individual dishes (ie omitting sauces, etc)
The Indian chai you guys had was just so good and refreshing, have recommended it to my friends too would love to see more Indian appetizers.
Nice atmosphere and excellent service. As for the breakfast, it was mediocre at best. At a price point of 34$ for eggs and toast, one would expect eggs over easy to be over easy, and the sides dishes to be warm, not cold. Room for amelioration, Ive had better breakfast at Bons off Broadway.
Had an amazing experience with the bop. Tim was incredibly attentive and accommodating even if there was something we didn t like on the menu. And LEWIS was an incredible server. The whole experience was amazing. The service was incredible and we were treated as if we were frequent flyers in the restaurant with all the attention that was needed. Definitely would go back!
Had an absolutely wonderful experience every time we went to this restaurant! We went twice for dinner and twice for breakfast. Enjoyed every meal! Service was exceptional. Special shout out to the wonderful Emilee! Friendly, funny, welcoming and professional this girl was everything!! Would go back just to see her again!! I highly recommend!!
It was going ok until the server started shouting at me after I left the table to show my child where the washrooms were accusing me of leaving without paying! We are not theives! Disgraceful! Food
Went for bottomless brunch for Father s Day ($65pp). We all really enjoyed the food and the chance to try all the dishes. Our server Saori was amazing and super sweet and attentive. Our favourites were the berry smoothie, lobster Mac and cheese, and the short rib poutine. They also had a beef rib special for Father s Day that was really good. We left STUFFED and happy.
Great place for brunch
We came for dinner. I had the Salmon Tartar for my appetizer which was really good, then I had the tenderloin, which was so small it could have been eaten in two bites, but cut off small pieces so to make it last longer, this is why for the low rating. Chocolate Mousse for dessert was excellent. I expected my dinner to be much better for the cost.
Maillan T was the best!! 11/10 server
Loved my beef ribs and seafood chowder soup. Think was their special. The beef ribs was so tender, mashed potatoes tasted unique and good. Seafood chowder wasnt heavy with cream so it did have a good taste to it. Service was excellent, the waitress was always smiling and checking up on our table.
Went here with my girlfriend for the bottomless brunch. We ordered almost everything in the menu. The place was very cozy and nice for a conversation, the service was fast and the staff were all very welcoming and cheerful. The food was ok, but not something worth the price of 65CAD. The quality of the ingredients was not as good and food itself although they said it was made to order a lot of them we precooked and was just assembled when ordered which was expected. Here are what we ordered: Biscuits- I really liked how it was soft in the inside and crusty from the outside, If I still have space to eat, I will go for seconds on this one Lobster Mac & Cheese - this is one of my favorite. I like how it has just the right amount of cheese and there was actually really lobster in it. Highly recommended Salmon Bennys - this was ok, it has a very strong flavorful salmon, just was not a fan of the bread as it was a bit soggy. Beef Shortrib Poutine - I did not expect to like this one but I was surprised it was better than expected. The beef was really tender and the gravy was so flavorful. Shakshuka - it was just ok but not one that I will go on seconds. Buttermilk Chicken & Waffles - this was one of the signature item. It was ok, nothing exceptional about it. The chicken was a bit soggy not as crispy as I hope it would be. The waffles was a bit bland to my taste Chilaquiles - this was more like nachos with shredded braised chicken. It was flavorful but the nachos was soggy, would be better if it was crispy Turkish Egg - it was ok but not what I expected it would be. I expected more for this one. Roasti- this is prosciutto with burrata and arugula. Was ok, but not something I will order again Eggs Florentine - poach egg, grilled spinach, egg and sourdough bread. It was ok but it was my least favorite. Berry Smoothie- this was really good. I like the perfect consistency, sweetness and creaminess from the coconut milk Ooey Gooey Skillet - Apple compote, croissant and cream cheese icing baked in a skillet. This was one of my favorite. I would probably order this first so I can eat one whole serving. Looking back at all the food we ordered, it ended up that I only like few of them which makes me conclude that in the end although it was a nice experience, it is not really worth doing it again. It was quite expensive for the price, quality and selection. It will be far more better to do the Ala carte and order 1 main dish that is good, a dessert and a drink rather than having small amount of different items that most of it was just ok. It was a good experience nonetheless and really enjoyed my time with my friend.
Bottomless brunch for the weekend, AKA all you can eat for $68/person. The food is prepared fresh for you, so unlike a buffet where the food has been sitting out, you place your orders with the server and they will bring your orders to you. They have a variety of food coming in small portions and I love their fruit smoothies!
We did the Weekend Bottomless Brunch which costed 65CAD before taxes. It was a nice experience but something that I will not do again or recommend. The food was mediocre and the quality of the ingredients is not the best. The 65CAD per person is quite expensive with the quality, taste and selection of food. It would be better to go for brunch buffet or do ala carte. You can get better option for 65CAD from other places. Although I was not happy with the food, I was happy with the service, staff and ambiance of the place.
I had one of my best brunch experiences at Arc. The food is so so so good and it s all you can eat. Every food item is really heavy though so you re likely going to only get one order of each but even then, you ll defiantly feel like you ve had your moneys worth. The ambience is really nice, especially on Sundays. Everyone s there just to have a good time with family and loved ones. It is slightly on the higher end. I was there with my boyfriend for our anniversary and at the end of our meal, the host brought out a very cute pastry which was delicious. It s one of the best layered chocolate cakes I ve had. The service , the food , the vibes, the smoothies were all a 10/10
The food was excellent and the ambience was fantastic. The area was spacious and was very comfortable. The food provided was excellent and the service was fantastic. They accommodated two families in a table of 10 very well. We wanted a special acknowledgment to Julie. Julie went out of her way to acknowledge any dietary restrictions. We had many children with us and Julie was very patient with them. Our children enjoyed her time and attention. Thank you for making our dinner a memorable experience in our visit to Vancouver.
The atmosphere food and service here was great . We had the brunch buffet and it is absolutely worth it . Great food and our server was very attentive and kind .
What can I say about my bad experience, terrible staff , I think she was Spanish , she was so focused on chatting and asking from where we are than taking the order properly . She brought latte instead of the Cappuccino, I never ordered a latte in my life . I asked how many pieces are there in the pancake order so to decide my kids can share or I need two orders, guess what? She didn t guess it right !!!. She told me it s 3 and it was 2 ,she said there is one cherry on top but it came out to be socked in cherry jam !!and my kids couldn t eat it , just had a terrible day with this bad service .i hope the administration focus on this . Felt really bad to give a tip while I didn t even get my order right
Couples evening - We were staying at the Fairmont Waterfront and had a relaxing few cocktails at the Arc after a lovely multi-hour stroll around Stanley park. The drinks were fantastic and service was exceptional. A perfect way to unwind before evening. Highly recommend.
Food was okay, but feel a little bit on the expensive for what it is. Better brunch with better value out there!
Went for Easter Brunch. The food was good but I will say everything was barely warm. The only thing hot was the apple dish in a skillet which was really good. The service was friendly and approachable. It is a large space which makes for much conversation noise. The views are incredible. $$$
Great service and atmosphere; we went there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a great selection of drinks. However, for this price, the food could use some improvement. Parking: They have paid valet parking and self-parking for people who are staying overnight at the Fairmont hotel.
What an EPIC disappointment. Service was nonexistent. Took 10 minutes just to get water, 20 to get coffee and 40 minutes before the mediocre food arrived. The tables around us were empty and filled with dirty dishes from previous parties. I was pretty upset to see that an 18% gratuity was already included in our bill. Absolutely a waste of money.
Food and Drinks were great, but our service from Emilie is what really made our night. She was so fun and sweet and made it a wonderful birthday dinner. Cheers to you, Emilie!
I had friends that recommended this restaurant, but I did not realize that it was a part of a hotel until I got there. I ve noticed that restaurants in hotels are never amazing. It could be decent food, but never amazing and this was the same case for this place. Service was great, atmosphere is passible, food was good but nothing special. Their duck confit was not tender enough, the fries were terrible and the dessert was not great either. The sable fish was good, but you can t really go wrong with that. I enjoyed the oysters, but this was the first time that I have been to a restaurant where the kitchen did not separate the oyster from the shell, quality was good though.
Picked up a too good to go savoury bag and was very excited to see the amount of food in there (scrambled eggs, two sausages, lots of bacon and roasted potatoes). So disappointed at the taste though! The eggs were hard and tasted like glue. Tasted as if they mixed something into the eggs. Will not be back again!
Such a wonderful experience staying at the fairmont waterfront. Eating everyday at the ARC was a TRUE pleasure because Alcina was our server. She is so attentive and truly cares about the guest and their experience. I didn t eat anywhere ELSE my entire stay in Vancouver bc of how much I enjoyed the r experience and the food.
I visited ARC several years ago (brunch as well) and I knew I wanted to come back since its a nice experience, with pretty good food in a great environment. A quick rundown of the items I had: Ooey Gooey Skillet - So heavy, decadent, but good. It reminds me of a fresh Portos cheese roll, but even much more decadent. Roesti - Wife complained that salmon was way too oily and didnt eat it. Only dish we ended up not finishing. Its sitting on top of a hash brown that we first thought was just an English Muffin, that part was good. Dutch Baby - Not a sweet pancake. Its a savory housing basically a burrata and arugula salad. I enjoyed it. Braised Lamb Shakshuka Beef Shortrib Poutine - They of course have a poutine. Luckily its pretty good, not overly salty and fries were crisp when it arrived. Pork Benedict - Tasty flavor from the pork, not overly salty. Bone Marrow - I never get the allure of eating bone marrow, but the wife liked it enough to get it twice. You can ask for no bread if you dont want it. Spicy Buttermilk Fried Chicken - Really good. Better than Ive had at other places, but could not really taste the spicy flavor. Great balance of sweet & savory though. Mimosa Tasting Flight - Nice to look at and take photos. I imagine many girls order it. Flavors all sound appealing, but I really just tasted the champagne mostly. Blackberry Mule - It was alright. Would be better if there were some more fresh muddled blackberries inside to add more overall flavor. ARC is located within The Fairmont (nicer hotel) and the decor of the place is fitting. Nice, spacious interior, better than Ive seen in higher-end restaurants. We sat right by where we could see the rain outside downtown, city tourist vibes. It was a cold January but the heaters along the front of the windows more than warm the place up. In fact, since the window seats are right by the heaters I actually got to hot even after taking my jacket off. The server was very nice (is too nice a thing!? lol) She was attentive and we never felt like she was not there when trying to order more food. I know some people (the more anxious type) who might be bothered by this almost overzealous type of service. But Id much rather have it than have no or bad service, and than they still want a 20%+ tip for.... There is a parking structure (several) serving the area but since you are downtown, be prepared to pay a premium. This was the most I paid for parking my entire Vancouver trip, I think it was $5/half hour. Compared to that I remember thinking how cheap parking was in general at all other places. While I very much enjoy the AYCE brunch at ARC and none of the food Ive had there has been bad there are a few things they could improve on. I did find some of the portions too big, such as the Spicy Buttermilk Fried Chicken. If you are like me you are going to order many dishes at once, but along with that things get cold quickly as you are eating. I wanted to get another of the chicken, and I would have if the portion was smaller, but I was full and did not want to waste food. It might throw the kitchen logistics off, but something like half-portion options would be great and elevate my experience here. It seemed like almost everything came with a poached egg which I know is a brunch staple but some other variations would be appreciated. The drinks were not my favorite overall, but they did look nice. Im guessing they cant control it, but some type of parking validation would be great especially since its not the cheapest meal. If you are looking for a great (AYCE) brunch option with variety you should check out ARC. Cheers!
Excellent brunch and even better service from Milan
Had the buffet brunch here. Just so people know- as for coffee, only dripping coffee is included in the buffet brunch price. Food is very tasty but some of them are not warm enough- like the benedict. Service is good and also what you can expect from a fairmont hotel restaurant. 4/5 stars for the atmosphere because some of the decorations and furnitures really need some refinishing.
There s a hair in my pasta during the lunch.
My friend took me here for the bottomless brunch for my birthday. We ordered 3 rounds of plates and we werent able to finish all of the food so they let us pack some up which was nice. The food selection was pretty good, there was quite a lot of items to choose from. We also ordered the flight of mimosas cause they looked so yummy and cute! My favorite menu items were the spicy buttermilk fried chicken and waffles, Dutch baby, bone marrow and pork benedict. The service was amazing and I loved the singer at the entrance!
Good
Given the reviews for the brunch, I was not impressed with the food selections. For the brunch price a la cart doesn t deliver great brunch.
Classy classy place.
Spent the night at the hotel and popped into Arc to have breakfast. Ordered the Dungeness crab omelette that was absolutely delicious. It came with a breakfast potatoes and arugula salad. What a great meal to start the day!
Overall very nice, will surely come back again
Dine Out brunch on this rainy day with friends. We parked nearby on Cordova Street which was $10/hour. Our brunch time was limited to 90 minutes. For $49 (regularly $65), you get unlimited coffee, tea, smoothies and a wide range of menu items. I would have liked to try everything but that would have been a waste of food. I settled with 3 items, which were all regular sized so I didnt have room for more. Food was good, but the fried chicken was overcooked. You can see Canada Place across the street. There was a musician playing guitar and singing, but it was not loud so the atmosphere was pleasant. The service was really good. Staff were always around filling up glasses, making sure you were happy with your meal, checking if you want anything else..... Overall, I really enjoyed this Dine Out.
#DineOutVancouver Wow! 25% off the original the All Inclusive Brunch price of $65. Definitely worth a try! DineOut $49 is for adults, kids pay 50% off the regular price $32. The menu items are preset and you get to order as many plates as you want. All menu items were 4+ but a little too many carbs as most plates came with 2 pieces of sourdough bread or waffles. Buttermilk Biscuits, Roesti, 6 Bone Marrow, and Ooey Godey Skillet were repeated picks with the winner going to Berry Smoothie with the most orders!!!
Always wanted to go try out this all you can eat brunch. We took the opportunity to go during the dine out promo! Make reservations! Also, thank you to our server Bruna for giving us a heads up on ordering many items at a time as the items come out when they are ready. I liked that each items portion was not too big, so you had a chance to try everything on the menu. We tried everything on the menu and ordered a couple of the items twice. We liked the atmosphere, view and Bruna continuously taking are order for more food!
I booked for 3 people for my friends. The whole experience is perfect. I would love to recommend this place. The waiter is very professional and knowledgeable. Hospitality at its finest.
Wonderful view and environment, we had very good deal from the dine out vancouver with wine paring, the chocolate amaretto cake is the highlight of the meal and the petite four can be more delicately made in terms of favors and presentation
Hit and miss today. Kaiya was terrific, attentive and engaged. Food was so disappointing at lunch - appetizers and mains came out together. Burgers were cold and tasteless with dry buns. Server switched and so did the one solid part of our experience - second server was very slow. Overall disappointing for a premium location and price.
My friend and I came here for dine out Vancouver 2024. Their menu looked great as it included a four course meal. There was only one option for the DOV menu but of course we could choose from their regular menu as well. All of their food tasted great. Service was great. Our reservation stated we would have 1.5 hrs for the dinner but it took us about 2 hours and 45 mins to finish the whole meal. Indeed we were ok with that. We paced ourselves when eating the appetizers, second main dish, third main dish and desserts. We chatted a lot while eating. We were happy that the server or restaurant didn t rush us to eat the food and finish the meal quicker. We took Skytrain the downtown and walked to the restaurant. It was convenient if we took the Skytrain. Driving would be a hassle as there is less street parking in that neighbourhood. There was paid parking at parking lots nearby but I personally hate to pay parking so I would prefer taking the public transit to get to downtown Brunch and dinner as well appetizers here are great. It is very spacious inside the restaurant. My friend and I were lucky to eat next to the windows so we were facing the ocean and Canada Place. It was beautiful! I would recommend people to come here for brunch and dinner. Some of my friends said they liked dinner more than brunch
I was skeptical about a $65 brunch.... Untill the server came out greeted us with a smile and explained hey favorite menu items. I tried everything on the menu and it was ALL amazing.
Great food and amazing service. Super friendly and helpful staff and the food is delicious!!
As always the table service is impressive from the moment we are seated. Menu is worth a peruse, selection of options is wide. Breakfast here is always very nice way to start a Sunday. Food
It was a truly great experience. The food, prepared with fresh ingredients, was exquisite, and the server was incredibly friendly. Special attention was given to accommodate the childrens requests for specific dishes, and their thoughtful service extended to promptly replacing any dropped utensils before we even had to ask. Highly recommended.
frist time to come in Valentine day feel very good
Arc is a great spot with some really creative options. Based in the Fairmont Waterfront hotel, you expect it to not be cheap. Brunch was $65/person, but endless. The flavours left me wanting more (except for the biscuits... oh Good Lord, the biscuits!!!), but I certainly didnt leave hungry. The service was excellent, the atmosphere, nice but overall, a good spot.
I went with family for All inclusive Brunch. 65$ PP. Food is good. But you can order two items per person in one go. Serving size is very small. Then wait to order some more. Takes too much time and you can hardly order anything after two rounds as one feels full. I will go again for sure but better option is Ala Carte. Parking: Park in Canada place parking. Easy access. Kid-friendliness: I went with my kids and saw many others all age ranges. Perfect place for families.
It was my second time here, and we had the all you can eat brunch. The food was so delicious, I wish we went with more people to try everything before getting too full. My favourite dish would be the dessert. It was just perfect. 10/10 would go again.
Lovely Christmas brunch Kid-friendliness: Quite kid friendly, nothing spicy Food : 4/5 |
Superb ! Worthy of the Fairmont name.
Just a terrific Christmas Dinner at the ARC restaurant. Superb and well presented food.
Our reservation at another restaurant didnt work out today as they decided to cancel lunch on Boxing Day. So, we walked to the ARC. For lunch, we had the choice of A la carte or All Inclusive. Even though we werent planning to eat a lot, the idea of tasting various items in small portions appealed to us. So, the three of us decided to go for the All Inclusive option. Our first round included Bone Marrow, Roesti, Smoked Salmon Benedict, Pork Benedict, and Dutch Baby. The food came hot, and it was great that we didnt have to line up at a buffet bar to collect items that were not freshly prepared. I was the one who ordered the bone marrow, and it the most boring of all the items. Our second round order included: Dutch Baby, Spicy Buttermilk Fried Chicken, and Bircher Muesli. The Dutch Baby was more empty than I expected it was extremely light and was missing the custardy part. But the prosciutto was very enjoyable. The Bircher Muesli was very delicious and I might try to make that at home. Our third round included: Ooey Gooey Skillet, French Toast, and Buttermilk Fried Chicken. We didnt do so well in this round as most of us were already very full. This is certainly a great way to eat. Our server was extremely attentive which made me regret that I had forgotten to add a Christmas Bonus to the gratuity. We would definitely try this again another time.
We went to ARC for Christmas dinner. Overall the food was good, with some dishes lacking seasoning. For example the warm bread with garlic butter had no salt, so the butter felt like eating plain fat. For us, the biggest let down was the service. It s surprisingly inattentive and careless.
I had Christmas dinner here and it was incredible. Unfortunate that the next sitting meant we had to leave a little earlier then we would have liked. However not a bad word to say against the food which was extremely well made and yummy to eat.
Went there for Christmas with my friend. Overall, a very nice experience. The food was good, excellent presentation but admittedly a bit overpriced. The staff was suuuper friendly, genuinely polite and nice, so that contributed positively to our experience. The reasons why I m rating this experience with 4/5 instead of 5/5 are 1) that I d expect a slight improve in the food to better reflect the prices 2) the fact that we were CHARGED for the drinks that the server told us were ON THE HOUSE.
The service was excellent on NewYears Eve until we were phoned by staff while dancing to the live music. Of course, it was too loud to hear and we came back to our table to find it cleared, including the drinks we hadn t finished, and my sweater was missing!
We went here for Christmas eve in one word the service that we received was amazing! Staff were so friendly and definitely it will be our every year destinations for Christmas eve!
Had the best bartender with the nicest barside manner Ive had in forever!
Hi dear hope you are doing great Im working as a marketing expert. Do you want advertising of your restaurant or want posting of your daily menu with pictures and engaged more traffic through ads campaign for your business. Ill help you out in this work.
They had great Service, food, and had a helpful environment!!!!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at ARC Restaurant, and it was truly a delightful experience. ARC Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From the friendly and knowledgeable staff to the delectable food and inviting ambiance, it is evident that they strive for excellence. I highly recommend ARC Restaurant to anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience where quality, flavor, and exceptional service come together flawlessly.
Delicious buffet breakfast with excellent service. The omlettes are great.
Great vegan fare!
Definitely choose the buffet option! The food is amazing and the Salmon toast and pancakes were out of this world! Our server, Baba, made the experience even better! Definitely recommend Parking: There is a public parking right in front of it, and guests of the hotel have their own parking!
A nice restaurant in the hotel. Very friendly staff, food a little on the expensive side but very tasty.
Tomahawk steak is delicious and tender
From start to finish, the experience has been amazing, especially during the weekend, which is when we went there.
The ooey skillet is the best thing on their menu. Bennys were average. Korean bowl was good too. No basic options like toast and eggs part of the brunch. You are paying for the service and ambience.
Loved the veggie burger, and the Sangria was fabulous
I had an old fashioned at the bar while waiting for food to-go. All of the staff were friendly and the drink was perfect. The food was a bit pricey (as expected in a hotel), but delicious.
Food, service, location are great. Definitely worth it coming and experience it. We went for all inclusive weekend brunch and had great time. They have vegetarian and vegan substitutes Food : 5/5 |
This is a special place - something to TREAT yourself to, if you simply want to chill out or take time out from a busy schedule; or simply to enjoy wonderful food.... maybe a meal or a snack - be creative with a delicious selection from a pre-dinner menu; and accompany with a relaxing drink, whether it be a cappuccino or a decadent wine! I needed to rest after a lot of walking, and it was a late lunch and early dinner for me! GREAT professional and caring service! Just what I needed! I had some nibbles along with a delicious glass of sparkling white wine before experiencing a great dish of deepfried and wonderfully marinated Chicken Wings, with lovely side dish of salad and bowl of fries..... Later I enjoyed a cappuccino. Take your time and enjoy the views with a window seat!
We had a lovely lunch there. I had the halibut, the strawberries with cream dessert and a cappuchino. They were all excellent.
Great atmosphere. Opens to seating outside. Just got comfort food, tomato soup, and grilled cheese sandwich after a long day. It was delicious. The service was great, too. Also had a great breakfast.
Very expensive
This hotel & restaurant was across from our hotel. Emilee was a great host! She was honest & told us what was good to eat here at Arc & gave us other nearby restaurants to visit. We wanted a light snack. The chicken wings & fried cauliflower were yummy! We also had a drink.
Our waitress was good and friendly, but food portion and plating was terrible from appe, dinner, and dessert. Very disappointed overall.
This is a review for ARC s brunch. It was delicious and well worth the cost. We tried one of everything. Some standouts were the ooey gooey skillet, eggs benedict, and the fried jerk chicken with a waffle, but we liked it all! The service was very friendly, lively atmosphere by the waterfront.
Great portions of seafood tower, we almost couldn t finish it for 2 ppl.
Came here for the all inclusive brunch and was so impressed with not only the quality and freshness of the food, but also with the service! Our server was Millan and she made our Sunday brunch experience even more fabulous. Will definitely be coming back
Great service and personnel. Food amazing
Salmon was cooked perfectly, except it was a tad salty. My favourite part of the meal was the chocolate cake, crunchy with different contrasts between hazelnut, coffee and of course chocolate.
Being in town a couple days before our cruise, we stopped in for dinner after reading some complimentary reviews. I had the halibut and my wife the salmon. Both dishes were prepared to a high standard, were well balanced, and the presentation was clean and appealing. The service was attentive without being smothering; all while giving complete responses to queries about the preparation. The only ding was the several flies near the back of the dining area which caused me concern about cleanliness - I did not see the cause but they were localized in one area.
Blahhh Brunch When you go to brunch at ARC you have two choices going for the order brunch menu and the a la cart menu. The all you can eat menu looked heavy so we went for the a la cart. In short nothing stood out as me as special for the price we paid. The coffee though organic tasted burnt. The pancakes fluffy didn t have a crunch or caramelization for that heightened experience. The crab egg Benny was pleasant but plain. The $9 bacon was mostly fat.
Best brunch in Vancouver is the bottomless weekend brunch. Might feel pricey but its unbelievable how PERFECT everything is. Fantastic for a special occasion.
Was there the other day, and had a good time. The service was a a bit slow to start, but overall it was good. I was graciously seated by the manager I believe. I had the four course set menu from local fresh ingredients, and it did not disappoint (albeit the seeds in the strawberry orange salad - though the flavour was good). The risotto was amazing and had rich flavour, the duck was very tender and the bean/bacon was a good addition - I only hoped for a bit more, such as mashed potatoes or a little something. Loved the lavender atop the honey gelato and strawberry/rhubarb compote. I think I described that right..lol. Was impressed with one male expediter/busser, who was gentle kind and professional (cant remember his name but I think it was something like Mora/Omar?, I could be way off base). Loved the rooftop honey with my tea.
A chill place to drink with friends before dinner. The sangria was great and the IPA was good. Our server was attentive and polite.
We didn t have a reservation so we had sit outside. Which was totally fine cause it wasn t raining and they have propane heaters so didn t have to wear a jacket while eating. We came for the all you can eat brunch! Kids under 5 eat free too! There are 15 items on the menu to choose from. You can order 8 dishes at a time. We tried most of the items on the menu. We didn t like the Parfait. The Avocado coconut yogurt was not good at all. It had no sweetness to it. But everything else was delicious and well seasoned. Favourite items have to be the jerk fried chicken, beef short rib poutine, and the braised pork cheeks. The jerk fried chicken was super moist and had a nice crunch to it. The funnel cakes and maple syrup was a nice compliment to the chicken. The maple syrup had a bit of heat but nothing crazy. The beef short rib poutine was so good! We order 2 orders. What s there not to like?? The beef short rib was a nice portion and was tender and well season. This place is pretty busy and the line ups were long. I would book ahead to get a reservation. We were able to get a table with out making a reservation but it was outside. Food did take a little long to get in between orders. Like I said this place does get very busy for lunch. August 28 2021 - Update. We decided to come back today for breakfast. We didn t get the brunch today and ordered from the menu. We did have a reservation booked from yesterday. Being a Saturday this place was busy. The food took forever to come. We didn t order anything complicated. It was pretty much eggs bacon and toast. Our server seemed to be overwhelmed. Other customers were waiting for their bill and even their food. She struggled to manage her tables. I waited 35 minutes to get jam and butter for my toast. Finally I got up and grabbed my own jam and peanut butter. After waiting I requested to have new toast, as my toast was cold. My recommendation is not to come on the weekends as it s super busy. If you don t mind waiting and just want to relax with the family then come on down. It is a beautiful restaurant. Based off my second dining experience. Going to downgrade to 3 stars. Hopefully you will get a better server. I understand it can be busy but the restaurant should have the proper number of server for the number tables. Update July 2023 Visited here for the third time and Darrin our server did a redemption. Excellent service!! He was on point and really elevated our dining experience at ARC. They had some new items in the menu as well. Solid 4 stars. Parking is tough if you are not staying at the hotel.
I have had the absolute pleasure of having Frank be my ultimate host of culinary and Vancouver based experiences at ARC. Now some people at first glance would say that he s a bartender - but that s where they re wrong! He s all that AND so much more! To his warm greeting, to his knowledgeable recommendations, he is an absolute delight and is always highly professional, unwavering in his service and support and is always ready with a smile I would highly recommend ARC, especially when Frank is there. He is top shelf all the way
Great brunch experience thanks to our server, Millan. The ooey gooey skillet is amazing!
Breakfast: various delicacies, specialty wines, $65/per all you can eat, unlimited refills,
The service was incredibly unprofessional and disappointing for Fairmont. During our brunch visit with 4 friends yesterday, despite many empty seats, we were told to wait for 10 minutes since we werent hotel guests. After the wait, we were given a high chair table even though there were plenty of available proper seating areas . When I requested a different table, she said tables are for reservations, she was dismissive and placed us next to the washroom. Throughout our two-hour stay, the restaurant remained largely empty, making their reservation policy seem unjustified. Charging nearly $90 per person(after tip/tax) for brunch, this kind of treatment is unacceptable and disrespectful. Restaurants should prioritize fairness and quality service for all patrons, regardless of their hotel status. If thats not your purpose dont advertise it otherwise.
Great place to be in
The all you can eat brunch is a little pricy but all the food is very well done and the gluten free accommodations left the celiac in the party well satisfied.
Amazing brunch! Their brunch is amazing, featuring classic dishes with elevated twists. An absolute must-have! Vegetarian options: Plenty of options available! Dietary restrictions: Kept a great track of everyones dietary restrictions.
Excellent weekend brunch like no other. The all you can eat brunch was delicious and had so many amazing breakfast/lunch options. The service was good and had multiple people checking on us at all times. The only thing that made my review 4 stars instead of 5 was the wait to get our table. We had a reservation for 11:00 and didn t get seated until close to 11:10. That aside I will definitely return for weekend brunch next time I m in Vancouver.
Had a few days staying at the Fairmont Waterfront last week, went to this place a couple times and for $75.00 for two very small pieces of cake with a very small piece of ice cream and a beer and glass of wine is quite a disgrace, another evening for a bowl of curry pasta/ glass of wine and tenderloin with 1 few pieces of veggie and small bowl of fries and a beer for $235.00 I am glad the hotel doesn`t have to depend on this very over priced subpar restaurant to keep it in business. Make no wonder all restaurants around were packed but this place was not busy in the evenings. Do your research folks and do the 5 minute walk its well worth the $ you will save.
We havent been here for a year or two and was excited to bring our out of town friends here We were sadly disappointed. The food portions were small and terribly plated. The flavours were okay but nothing to write home about i paid $32 for a 9 oz glass of wine and it was far from Caymus. Prior to this I was excited to come back and use their private room and unfortunately we wont be back again.
Went for the brunch and frankly was unimpressed. The food was cold for the most part and the service was slow. Its not cheap by any means at $65 per person when you factor in parking, taxes and tip you drop $200 bucks for 2 people it better be impressive and a single soggy cold over cooked pulled pork egg Benedict is not it. We ended up sampling 9 small single plates of food including dessert and the final dessert (which was made fresh to order) was the best. I simply cannot recommend this.
I got diariah from eating here
Terrific! The breakfast leaves no wish unfulfilled. Thank you!
Its right in the hotel reception area. In the early morning people were lining up like refugees to get a table. Its atmosphere lets it down- food and service were good
Sushi was amazing.. definitely check it out
For your all you can eat Brunch spot. The best I have been to.
Went here this weekend for the brunch. We were early and the staff were very accommodating and seated us well before our reservation time. We started off with the biscuits and they were the best biscuits with honey butter that Ive ever tasted. Our group of 5 shared the first plates we got and everything was excellent. Highlights were the duck confirm poutine, the braised short ribs, chicken and waffles, avocado toast, and a number of other items, as well as the biscuits. Absolutely recommend coming here for the brunch and will do again in the future. Seeing others meals (non brunch) everything looked excellent.
Service was great. Baba is a wonderful server. The food was pretty good, only thing I didn t like was how soggy the red cabbage made the bottom bun of my chicken sandwich but my partners grilled cheese was fantastic. I would come back.
Great bottomless brunch.
Great
I was there for breakfast. Omelet was so tasty. soft, juicy. Great view and service as well. Food
Our food was absolutely fabulous!
65$ brunch is amazing late breakfast experience! Food is great compared to other breakfast places in downtown However service is very slow. I had 7+ plates so 65$ was a fair price. I recommend to come here hungry ;) Updated: showed up next time, that 65$ brunch in only during the weekends... People STILL wear face masks here! Thats pathetic
Food was awesome and breakfast was reasonably priced. Will be back!
Had a great time trying out their AYCE weekend brunch. We ended up having 12 dishes and a complimentary dessert between the two of us. Loved the Ooey Gooey Skillet (croissant baked skillet with seasonal compote) and Short Rib Fried Rice the most. Would definitely go for second if I wasn t so full. Service was excellent. Our server was friendly and fun. Food came out at a appropriate pace so didn t feel rushed. Tips for people planning to try the AYCE weekend brunch: Go hungry, wear loose and comfortable clothing, pick a nice sunny day to go so you can walk around Waterfront to burn off all the calories, and most important of all, go with someone who loves food as much as you do.
I had the duck and it was perfect! Everything was amazing love the atmosphere and would recommend to anyone
We had a great anniversary celebration at the all you can eat brunch. The biscuits were unreal... Food
Very yummy food, my stomach could only take 7 items in today but looking forward to my next round of boujee brunch here. Very friendly & efficient service, nice atmosphere and view of waterfront. Everyone seemed happy working there too. Definitely would go back.
Went there for brunch. The food is good. A bit pricey but its a great place to take guests coming in from out of town. Also, its one of the few brunch options downtown.
Top notch restaurant in downtown Vancouver. The service and food was absolutely amazing. This is an amazing place to chill, relax and grab a bite. 10/10 would go again! Thanks for the hospitality!
Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options but not so many vegan Food
Yummy all you can eat brunch!
I enjoyed a delightful dinner in the private room, where the atmosphere was pleasingly tranquil. The food quality exceeded my expectations for its price range, especially the sablefish, which is the best Ive ever had; I wholeheartedly recommend it. However, the seafood tower was merely average. While the service was generally good, it was a bit on the slower side.
Its good but the quality is not for the cost.
The vegetarian dish that I ordered was creamy and delightful. The portion size looked smaller but totally sufficient and filling. Service can be better as the staff was too busy with other customers or so that they did not share the drinks menu and we had to ask multiple times. Atmosphere was too crowded during lunch time. Not a quiet ambience but the interior decor is great treat to the eyes. Overall a warm experience and can come again for the tasty food. Vegetarian options: Few vegetarian options are available
The Arc is our go-to restaurant in any situation. A late brunch, gluten-free, always accommodating. Our waiter Gabrielle was fantastic. Super delicious gluten free chocolate tart. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options well understood.
The food was the biggest letdown especially given the high prices. The beef tartar was dry and flavorless, reminded me of plain raw ground beef, the mango spice mocktail tasted like soap, the ciopinno was too salty and the shellfish was full of sand, the only good dish was the toffee pudding but it was a 1 inch square of banana bread with a inch ball of ice cream :( Portions were too small and everything else was just meh.
The food is great but the service is terrible. Came for brunch and ordered the mimosa tasting flight and coffees to start. In most restaurants, the drinks would come out first, but it s like our server completely forgot and brought our drinks out after we were finished eating. For the amount of money spent on the food/Fairmont standards, you would expect better service than that.
Very good restaurant
I love the sunday brunch all you can eat brunch, sushi lamb prime rib huge seafood selection gourmet hot and cold foods breads deserts absolutely amazing
Really great food and Darrin was an amazing and hilarious waiter! Would like to come back when I visit :)
The restaurant presents an almost fine-dining ambiance, and the pricing leans towards the higher end. We ordered beef tartare, duck leg, Dungeness crab linguine, and a chocolate dessert. Each dish was satisfactory, but none left a WOW-like lasting impression. The flavors were as anticipated. The server suggested bread to start, and we agreed, only to find a $7 charge on the bill. We assumed it was complimentary since it was suggested. On a positive note, the breakfast experience was delightful, and the bottomless breakfast menu was quite tasty. We might return for special occasions.
Excellent service. Just the right amount of attention allowing for old friends to catch up. Exquisite food. Not the first or the last visit to Arc.
Loved Nishant s cocktail creations !
This review is for their AYCE Weekend Brunch for $65/pp. Pro-tip: make sure you make a reservation in advance , booking system is via Opentable. We were promptly seated according to our reservation time. Greeted by our server and provide a run down of the inclusions. I had been previously but it had been a few years since. Food: I felt there was enough variety, though a lot of the dishes included some component of an egg. As it is bottomless, we opted to try as many dishes as possible (keeping in mind to limit food waste). Quite liked the Spicy Buttermilk Fried Chicken (not spicy tho but that s okay), Roesti, and my fave was the 6 bone marrow with side of scrambled eggs and sourdough toast *drool*. Drinks: Comes with bottomless coffee or tea. My guest opted for the $24 mimosa trio flight which she enjoyed. Service: Food came surprisingly quick! I m sure these dishes are half prepped in the back but I m fine with that considering it is AYCE. Our server Saori was attentive (topped up our bottomless coffee when it was looking low), checked in on us frequently, asked if we wanted to order anything else and did so without judgment (I ate a lot haha). Atmosphere: Nice, bright space. We were seated window side low tables and had a decent view of the waterfront and Vancouver sign by the convention center. All in all, would I come back? For the value, yes. For ayce? For the sake of not putting on too many pounds over the holidays, prob will give it some time. Haha
I couldnt believe that even to make a reservation for a meal on your own, you are forced to pay a 18% gratuity on top of a $150 meal. It seems quite a sour way to squeeze every dollar out of you
