We’re Crazy About Ramen! JINYA is known for its slow-cooked approach to ramen, made from broths simmered for 20 hours in-house. From its customizable menu to sleek interiors, JINYA Ramen Bar presents a contemporary Japanese dining ideal for lively social gatherings for all ages.
Fairly yummy ramen! Service was excellent and very quick. The bar area is super cute! The only reason I didn't give a 5 for food is because I'm from Toronto and Ottawa and have had either comparable ramen or better broth for slightly less $ so I don't know if I felt the value quite equalled the cost. Definitely a personal bias though! We had the tonkotsu black and spicy chicken ramen. The chicken ramen was better of the two!
Went here last Tuesday with my oldest son. I had the Jinya Tonkotsu Black by recommendation from our server. It was absolutely great! Full flavors, tender pork and nice portion size. Our server (the bartender) was super welcoming and helpful.
It's a trendy place (this is not a compliment). It's OK. Good enough. The music is loud in the middle of the afternoon. Service is good enough, but they tell you you're time-limited and things like that, does not contribute to a good experience. Overall, it was positive but I wouldn't go back by myself. No problem joining people there.
During a recent visit to Vancouver's downtown area, I stumbled upon Jinya Ramen Bar, which effectively satiated my ramen cravings. The contemporary interior, replete with clever lighting design, provided patrons with varied seating options, including a bar counter, patio, and tables. Jinya's unique blend of modernity and casual elegance differentiated it from traditional Japanese ramen establishments, offering an engaging experience reminiscent of a trendy cocktail bar. The option to select from three noodle thicknesses was a welcome touch; personally, I favored the thinner variant. While the broth's richness and the pork's fattiness diverged from my prior Japanese ramen experiences, the overall texture and flavor profile curiously mirrored wanton noodle soup. Nonetheless, the generous portion and expertly cooked egg proved satisfying. The crispy, flavorful gyoza complemented the meal nicely. The attentive, exceptional service and inviting ambiance rounded out the experience.
I came here specifically to try the ramen. There are three different noodle thicknesses to choose from, which is a nice touch. The broth is very rich and flavorful, and the pork is quite fatty. One bowl is more than enough to fill me up. The whole egg was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Overall, while the pork and broth were a bit too greasy for my taste, the service was excellent.
The server was kind of rude and passive when I asked if there was sugar in one of their salads on the menu. Also, when I asked about which ramen is creamy or clear broth because I am still new to this type of food, she was abrupt with her responses. The food came fast and was delicious. The server assistants were on top of the water refills. They provided boxes promptly when I asked and split the bills accordingly for our party of three. Overall, I would come back to try other items and hopefully a more pleasant server next time to accommodate my diet preferences.
Amazing food (on the pics you see our vegan options) and excellent service! This was the only restaurant we visited in Vancouver and we don‘t regret the choice. We payed about 66$ for 2 meals, a shared starter and two non-alcoholic drinks + we got free water. What we found interesting, was that the stuff was very communicative and at certain times they all shouted out loud together. We had no idea what that meant, but it was very funny and felt as if they all had a great time.
Had lunch with my family in this location, and the experience was great! The staff greet every person that comes in and out of the restaurant (makes you smile). We ordered their signature ramen and tasted good, a little salty on my taste, but overall good. Make your meal a combo. It's worth a try! Will come back here for sure.
The creamy tempura shrimp was pretty good. Had the Jinya black and red ramen, was alright nothing to write home about. Tea cost money and is just a baggie in a cup, not worth it. Overall, nothing too special not high end not high value.
Amazing experience. Seated, ordered and received drinks and food in under 15 minutes! I got the house black ramen and added spicy bean sprouts. Also tried the violette cocktail which was very good. Great place.
Great flavours, delicious ramen and broth!
Staff helped me with an Uber order gone wrong, driver made off with my food. They were very kind and very understanding and have been in person as well and the service was always great!
This was our first time here and our waiter, Kazuhiro, made the visit extra special! He had a great attitude, explained everything to us, and provided excellent recommendations! He made the experience truly enjoyable!
The seats are very crowded, the soup base is too salty, and even after repeated requests, I think the food and service provided by this restaurant are a bit overpriced.
Sadly, even though we used to enjoy the food. There was a person there who provided the worst customer service that we have ever had. For me and my family, the service provided is a vital part of the experience. He was not only rude to us he was also rude with other and even delivery people who entered from the back. Just because of him, we wont be coming back to this place. Thanks a lot.
The ramen is EXCELLENT! Great variety and delicious veggie options.
Great! Will come back
Not very good
First time for everything, and this was mine tonight. Friendly, informative staff. Food came quickly and was very delicious. Had a seasoned egg too. Very tasty.
Great service and food!
I know this place gets busy but the lady told us it would be a 10-15 minute wait and it ended up being a 30 minute wait. Its understandable because it was packed to the max. Otherwise the food was delicious and the atmosphere gave chill vibes. I highly recommend but maybe go on off hours if you dont want to wait.
Even though the food was pricey but I will definitely go again for the welcome cheer they give us when we enter the restaurant. Amazing waiters. If you are ready to spend money, you get what it s worth.
Vegetarian options: They have 4 option for vegetarian ramen. Recommended Food : 5/5
Spicy vegan ramen was very basic and not worth the price. A major disappointment for the price ($28 after tax and tip!)
Delicious, good mood and good price.
I would die for Jinya
My wife and I visited on a whim and it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it!
I had the chef s special and it was delicious! Great service too Food
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: Somewhat kid friendly with very dame lighting Food : 4/5 |
Great Ramen and service was even better
Recommend the whole experience was fantastic the food was incredible wish there was more stars to give it
Came here with my mom on a Tuesday night! It was busy but the atmosphere was so energetic! We ended up getting sat at the bar and though we usually choose to sit at a table, we really enjoyed our experience! The servers at the bar were so nice and helpful. They recommended the ramen tonkotsu original and we were so happy they did! Super flavourful and the portions were great! Overall a really lovely experience!
Amazing ramen in Vancouver. Friendly and efficient staff #ContestEntry
Their ramen is amazing, Ive been coming here multiple times! Staff were very friendly #ContestEntry Food
The food was excellent! Especially the JINYA bun!
Easily my go to when Im in the States. Glad to see theres one in Vancouver as well!
My favourite spot for ramen in Vancouver. Always delicious #ContestEntry
Jinya used to be really good. Its still not bad but my most recent visit was somewhat disappointed. Ordered the octopus balls and the black garlic Ramen. The Octopus came out and was very good, however I had barley finished one and the ramen was placed in front me. I would have expected to have a few minutes to enjoy the appetizer first. The Pork Chashu in the Ramen was also cold which was disappointing. Sadly it just felt like we were being rushed. There are a number of fantastic Ramen places in Vancouver I will be choosing them going forward.
The food was amazing and the server very friendly. They were always making sure we were okay and asking if we needed anything else. It was a bit noisy though, but that is very expected being a Friday night. #ContestEntry Food : 5/5 |
My first experience at JINYA was fantastic and I will certainly be back. The atmosphere is cozy and the greetings from all staff when enter sets things off on the right foot when you step in. Kazuhiro was my server and was very helpful for my first visit, giving me a run down of the menu and suggestions. He ensured I had everything I needed throughout my meal, which was ready in less than 5 min! The flavours of the tonkotsu ramen broth were amazing, and the pork was succulent and flavourful. The free fresh garlic brought to you with a garlic press was a really nice addition too. Can t wait to return!
This JINYA location was specifically recommended to me by a friend when I visited Vancouver. The bowl of ramen I had was one of the best that I have ever had so far. The soup was delicious and full of flavour. The pork was so very tender and the egg was done to perfection. The service was friendly yet efficient.
very busy place... most of time waiting lineup... ramen & Japanese style fusion
Taste spicy traditional Japanese ramen in a unique bar! It was lucky^^
Our valet recommended this restaurant and we absolutely loved it! We got the salmon poke bowl, impossible bun and the spicy creamy shrimp. Highly recommend
I only came here because kinton was full but it annoyed me so much, I havent gone to jinya since like 2016 and it went so downhill. All the customers were white if that already gives you a hint. They dont even give out tea, and no options for thin noodles. The ramen was bland and salty, my food took 30 minutes to come. All the workers were nice but shout every 5 seconds. Gyoza wasnt juicy, egg wasnt even runny.
Ramen was okay - nothing to write home about. Nice ambience though!
Yummy food! You definitely need to check this place out. #ContestEntry
The ramen here is decent! I would recommend it to a friend. The service and atmosphere are great. #contestentry
I tried the Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen (1st photo), and my friend had the Jinya Tonkotsu Black (2nd photo). We were both really satisfied with how tasty they were! Mine was rich and creamy. We re happy to come back! Thank you
90 out of 100 points!!! Very nice place for a holiday or a celebration dinner. The food quality surprised me! Can t expect I can have this quality outside Japan. You can watch show if you order drinks and full of gimmicks around the restaurant.
One of the best places to go for a cozy dinner in the rainy winter! Jinya has some of the most delicious ramen and a really lively atmosphere. The staff are always really welcoming and I never leave unsatisfied. #ContestEntry
Like Cha Cha Cha Vegetarian options: provided
One word! YUM! My Go To ramen on trips to Vancouver!
Very great experience with Coriander Noodle, Chicken base soup at Jinya on Robson. Oishi Lime is the killer! Enjoyed the little chat with sharp Jinya Stuff at Bar also. Thanks.
Ive been here twice visiting the area and have always had extremely kind service, once for take out, it was packaged nicely enough to eat at the park and the second time we dined in with our small kids and the waiter was extremely kind with our kids, helped us adjust a dish to their liking and sat hs comfortably. And the ramen is to die for, a good vegetarian option thats hard to find!! Vegetarian options: There is a really great vegetarian option thats loaded with extra veggies and flavour.
The waitress is unpleasant and asks customers who have ordered takeaway food to wait outside in the cold, as there is no waiting room for takeaway orders. Its a disgrace. Service
Such a good place. I always get the happy hour salmon tacos and chicken karaage and its just so good. The sauce too. I had ramen one time and it was delicious. Thank you!
Ramen and takoyaki was top notch!
Ramen was very tasty, service not that great, waiter walks around and doesn t pay much attention. Is a nice restaurant, but no atmosphere. A bit pricey too.
Great happy hour deals and delicious ramen and gyoza #contestentry
Fabulous establishment! Excellent service and very flavourful broths! Can never go wrong with any item on the menu!
This was one of the must stops while visiting the city from Alberta. The ramen was amazing and I really enjoyed the sake variety flight. Cool venue to warm up on a cool rainy day.
Great food and serving sizes. Easily the most pleasant staff of any restaurant Ive been to.
Service and food were great! Thank you!
Loved the cool stamp Ramen broth was very spicy and rich , server Light was kind and informative I d go back Food
Tasty gluten free option (if you are non celiac, just intolerant)! We ordered Jinya Chicken Ramen and Jinya Tonkostu Ramen and both so worth it! Cool environment too. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
Food was amazing. One, if not the best ramen I had tried so far. Salmon Nigiri is a must also.
The premium ramen is the best in the city!! Super friendly staff and ambience is really great. I would say 10/10 must try experience ;) and cocktails are insane!
The food was outstanding but what really stood out was the service. These servers were working their asses off to ensure you had a great experience. Thank you to all the people here who went out of their way to fill up my water, get my food out quickly etc.
A great people-watching spot at the window while you eat, and attentive servers who make sure you ve got what you need. Happy hour runs 3-6pm making it an affordable treat. Chicken karrage is generous and the house speciality sushi is incredibly moreish with a homemade mayonnaise on top.
Nice cozy place to meet friends, good Raman with good selection...
My family and I visited for a late-night dinner on the weekend, and the customer service from start to finish was seamless and outstanding! The staff were genuinely welcoming, and the food was fantastic. We loved the kids menu, which was priced at about $14 and included a perfectly portioned bowl of ramen, chicken karaage, sliced orange, salad, fries, and a mini vanilla ice cream with candy. Our toddler enjoyed it so much that she ate independently until she was full. My husband and I savored our ramens, and the aburi oshi was incredibly delicious and creamy. The mimosa flight was especially refreshing, with just the right amount of fizz and alcohol a perfect combination!
Very busy, great food and great service.
The food was amazing. The bowls were very tasty. The atmosphere was awesome. This was the first restaurant I went to on my first trip to Vancouver. Highly recommended this place.
Tasty food and decent service. Bar style Japanese food, wide variety of menu items and drinks.
Great experience! The food, service, the place, everything was so good! Thanks to our servers: Haley, Chi, Minami and Carlos, they were so kind and attentive to our needs and how was everything. 1000% recommend !!!
Just very good.
Dont do it. So many better Ramen options. This is not where you should put your time/money/ effort. and defenitly not where to bring a date.
My husband and I ate here while on vacation in Vancouver. My husband loved the Konya Tonkatsu black ramen. He said it was a perfect serving size, the pork in the ramen was tender and delicious, and the noodles were the perfect. I have celiac and they were able to accommodate me with one of the rice dishes. They were very polite and knowledgeable about cross contamination. They do have wheat in the broth, so even with GF noodles the ramen could cause a reaction. There are not many GF options here, so better for celiacs to avoid if youre looking for a big menu. The service was great and the atmosphere was good. It was almost full when we were there during happy hour and we were still able to hear each other. Vegetarian options: So many vegan and vegetarian options on the menu!
Won t even give you chop stick, spoon, or napkin with an Uber eats order. Well done saving cost!
Nice place for a quick bite.
Somewhat disappointing compared to what were used to - we wandered in here looking for a warm meal. Hoping for a great Ramen experience in Vancouver. The sesame/soy wings were great, the spicy shrimp tempura was good, but otherwise the meal was not satisfying. We did tonkotsu red and it felt like dressed up instant Ramen, not that were used to from Ramen bars in Seattle.
Great vibe in here, music was noticeable but not overbearing. We sat at the bar which was comfy enough for the hour or so we were there. Their Jinya tonkotsu black ramen was easily one of the best Ive had. Broth had a great depth, seasoning was perfect. Noodles were thin and slightly al dente. Pork was extremely tender and cut thick, might have been nice to get a little bit more though. The egg was slightly overdone for my preference but this is a minor complaint. Cocktails were fantastic, yuzu marg and a lychee cocktail of some sort. Prices were average for the area. Service was good but they were very busy so there were a couple times we had to wait a minute or two longer than ideal. Overall a very fun experience and great food, great ambiance. Will have to try this place again!
Not all Ramen are created equal. Same ingredients, seemingly identical presentation, however the Ramen from this branch tastes exceedingly better. If you are able t9 make the trip to downtown, i highly recommend this branch. Service is exceptional and outstanding attention to detail. A truly wonderful dining experience.
Great vegan options, the spicy creamy vegan ramen is amazing. Also great atmosphere inside. #ContestEntry
A VIOLATION OF TRUST AND A DANGER TO PULIC HEALTH; what I saw tonight there shock me to my core. The lady behind the bar responsible for making drinks had NO regards whatsoever for customers health. She was picking up used napkins of other customers and cleaning the table with the very same bare hands that she was putting the edible decorations on top of the drinks with! Imagine the napkin was used to clean a runny nose due to spicy ramen! She never cleaned or sanitized her hands before touching the edibles. She was handling payments with the same bare hands that she was directly touching what was going to go into other customer s stomach. THIS IS MANAGERIAL PROBLEM. DON T YOU HAVE ANY RESTAURANT SAFETY PROTOCOL IN PLACE?!?? THIS IS DISGUSTING & DISGRACEFUL.
Delicious ramen and great for vegetarians/vegans. Lots of ramen and non-ramen options without meat
This is the restaurant I just keep coming back to over and over again. Fair price for an extremely fulfilling, delicious meal with fast service in a lively atmosphere. Best ramen I ve ever tried yet.
Ramen are very tasty and they have a great menu. Nice choice of beers and sake too.
Horrible service
A good place for some ramen
An excellent Ramen. Very helpful waiters. I highly recommend.
They forget the gluten free noodles so one of us had to wait (ramen got cold) an extra 15 minutes for the new one.
Good ramen, good broth, slurped it all up, ate and left no crumbs
Service was great and the ramen is one of the best. Amazing experience. Highly recommendable .
Excellent
Ordered the standard tonkotsu ramen. Noodles and toppings were excellent, the broth was flavorful but so salty I had to leave about half of it in the bowl. Overall would not recommend/repeat because of the broth.
Amazing Ramen and drinks !!
I got Premium Tonkotsu and got the pork replaced by tofu which was very politely agreed by our server (he was extremely sweet). Tonkotsu was so good but i ordered a spice level of 5 (out of 10 i believe) and it got super spicy for me. Our server even triple confirmed if i wanted that spice level but i wanted to try that. The ramen was still very good. I also got the impossible tacos which were so delicious. overall i enjoyed the place and vibe.
I had the chicken wontan Ramen. It was really good! Service was great. Expensive for Ramen but worth the splurge.
Mmmm.
The service environment is great~ In addition to the regular spicy chicken ramen, there are also Tang and Wing recommended by the chef Just a little salty for me But gyoza is very good
Great food with excellent, professional, and welcoming service, all set in a beautiful atmosphere. JINUA has become one of our favorite ramen spots in town.
A place where you can taste Japanese ramen in a modern interior. A place that makes you feel good because of the many people who welcome you so brightly. Eat Japanese ramen here. It is clean and delicious. Im also looking forward to the bar being open in the evening.
Service was exceptional and Ren was an absolute sweetheart. Great food and a great happy hour !
Been here a number of times and always enjoyed it, until last night. The chashu in each of our bowls of ramen was cold, and I dont just mean cool, I mean ice cold as if it was taken from the freezer and put in our hot ramen. And extra garlic was added to one of our ramen bowls that we did not order. Since we were being treated to dinner by a friend we didnt want to say anything, and judging from the large amount she left in her bowl, I am thinking she didnt enjoy it either. Highly disappointing and makes me question whether I will return.
Great Ramen joint! Especially love their spicy ramen. I ve been there a few times and always had the Tonkotsu Red. Delicious! If you are not very much into spicy food, I would go with level 2 for the spiciness as it gets exponentially hot after level 3.
Service was great, food was even better!! Huge portions at an affordable price. The atmosphere is really nice and authentic!
The place is fantastic! It has a great atmosphere not too loud, but lively enough to know people are having a good time. The service was excellent; my wife and I were served by a French waiter (didnt catch his name), and he was amazing with his recommendations and overall attentiveness. I love bold flavors, and the red ramen (level 3 spice) hit the spot perfectly. My wife ordered the black ramen, but she ended up adding more seasoning from the table, so I d definitely recommend the red over the black. We also shared the takoyaki, which was delicious, though probably not quite enough for two. They serve non-alcoholic Asahi too, which was a nice surprise. My bottom line is simple: would I come back? Absolutely and hopefully soon!
Overpriced tasteless broth
I had an excellent experience at this ramen restaurant in Vancouver. The ramen soup was fantastic rich, flavorful, and satisfying. They also offer a variety of vegan options that are incredibly delicious. The service was top-notch with friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving great ramen!
Great food, but they have a 90 minute limit. We were saying goodbye to a close friend that was moving to Europe and it really distracted from the experience. They remind you as youre sitting that you have to be done in 90 minutes, so you feel rushed the whole time. Then the second it gets to 90 minutes the waiter is there asking you to please pay the bill (dont forget to tip!) and leave.
Great place, quality food. Highly reccomended and for a good reason. No wait time for us the day we went but there were no tables, just bar seats which were comfortable and roomy
i love this place sooooo sooooo soo muchh, the food is DELICIOUS, and the staff is superr kind they even helped me charge my phone best restaurant ever for real Food
Great food, very helpful service, nice design but loud atmosphere
Jinya Ramen Bar is a must-try for all ramen lovers! Every option on the menu is carefully crafted with fresh ingredients. The vegan ramen was especially amazing; the freshness of the vegetables and the depth of the broth left a wonderful taste on my palate. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. The ambiance is both modern and relaxing, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or by yourself. I ll definitely be coming back!
Great authentic ramen with great service.
Kinda noisy atmosphere but the food is worth it.
The Jinya broth is truly unmatched. My boyfriend and I keep coming here because we love Jinya ramen so much! I also love the dark atmosphere. The wait time is often quite long though
Loved our lunch here this week! Excellent ramen, and very happy to find vegetarian/vegan options. Please give this a try if you haven t been yet. We were all too hungry to remember to take pix, sorry!
Flavorful ramen broth with good noodles. Tasty tempura appies, and prompt service. Downside was the $8.5 mocktail which tasted mainly of soda water in a tiny glass.
Since when ramen place became so westernized. Jinya shouldnt call themselves the ramen place but some regular noodles place. Service wise They do act like they provide good service but i prefer those ones that are naturally done. Someone described it as conveyer belt like manner and i totally get it. Ramen and broth is not authentic Japanese style and over priced. Not impressed by their recipe. Man this place is noisy. Prefer a more quiet place for authentic remen therefore i have no plan to go back.
We waited for around 20 mins to dine in, it was nothing incredible personally i think it was overrated
Hip Ramen spot. Great location Great service however food was okay not great or even accurate from the order Been there done that. Spend $38 Food : 3/5 |
Delicious food and great service
Good ramen, very tasty, great service
Good service but the ramen broth is way too salty
I love the variety you can get at Jinya. Most of the popular places only offer the pork ramen which I don t eat alot of so having variety is a plus. My wife has the vegan ramen and I had a taste and it was delicious even though I am not vegan. This place does get busy during lunch.
Great authentic Japanese Ramen in Downtown Vancouver
I had the Vegan Harvest Ramen and seaweed salad. Was delicious and a total repeat.
The best ramen absolutely. My kids love kids meal which I must say is well served, the all place is great. The crew since you enter is absolutely amazing. If you re visiting Vancouver you should visit JINYA
Its too noisy! Nearly 80 decibels
Unbelievable service!!! Waited in-line in my he freezing cold to be seated after 45mins, only to watch 3 groups of 4-6 people with no appointments get seated before mine so I asked why is it taking so long only to be told that I was called but never answered when I was standing in front of the counter the whole time . What the hell is that?? I never heard my name been called even with my group next to me(6 of us). If you messed up owe up to it and not make excuses just because you were flirting with some of the ladies that asked for a table!!!
I had lunch here. The ramen is tasty and it seems that they have some other good dishes, I d like to go back and try them.
Tastiest ramen Ive ever had. I am generally not into chains, but this place is worth visiting.
spicy ramen is the best i ve ever.
Tried the spicy chicken ramen. Good flavors!
I have ordered from them few times but today when I ordered from uber eats, there was a fly in my food. This is so disgusting and unhygienic.
Have been visiting here from past couple of times so finally posting a review ! A must go place and try it out at-least once. I would Highly recommend The Impossible Tacos (Shown in picture). Also try Chicken Chashu Bowl. Give it a try and you ll fall in love with it.
Their vegan ramen is the best ramen I ve ever had (I m not vegan, but yum!)
Incredibly good and courteous service. Short waiting times for food. Highly recommend Spicy Chicken Ramen :)
Went there with friends for lunch during a week. It wasn t that busy as before anymore, no reservations needed if you re a small group like 4 people. Vegetarian food is not bad, but it s a bit pricier than other ramen places
A solid lunch spot - ramen dishes and more. The pricing was agreeable, and the food came out quickly. We had the pork rice bowl, the pork taco Jinya Bun , and the classic Jinya Tonkotsu Black ramen. The Panna Cotta was just ok , but the Lychee martini was both fun and smooth. The pork rice bowl and ramen were good. We went for a late lunch so the restraunt was a bit slow but we did catch Happy Hour. I would go again.
Quick service, staffs are also very nice and efficient. I have tried fews location of Jinya in States and they never make me disappoint.
Good food, but is it true they don t pay out tips to their servers? Isn t that illegal?
There is a video of your store on Instagram taking delivery of food products. Whats with the cases of Mr. Noodles beef flavor?
Best cold ramen ive ever had.
Do not come here if you are celiac. They have gluten free noodles but no gluten free broth what is even the point? I have an allergy and not celiac s, so I did end up trying noodles anyway. I didn t want to make my friends have to find a new place to eat. The noodles were ok, broth was delicious, as was the pork. Dietary restrictions: Not safe for allergies or celiac
Always been our go to ramen place in Vancouver for more than 10 years. Food is amazing. Their service is always the best.
3.9 Great restaurant! Sometimes, I m a little apprehensive of chain restaurants and other times i encounter one that does it well. This experience is the latter. I had a nice little visit over to the Robson location. Ambiance is usually great at these newer Asian - inspired modernly decorated restaurants. Tables were full, line up at the door. The Ramen selection is great. You get the options of six signature broths which are wonderful. They claim to be slowly simmered for more than twenty hours, each balancing flavors from whole pork bones, chicken and vegetables with just the right amount of bonito, dashi, miso, kombu, and other classic Japanese ingredients. The result is a rich broth that is thick, full-flavored, and unforgettable. The type of broth that when you finish the noodle, you order an extra side of noodle to finish up the remaining soup in your bowl
The food is well-served and delicious! We had the vegetarian options, and we loved them. The staff was kind. I will definitely come back.
Ok food. Decent service. No surprise. Kids meal is the only highlight. Food
I was really like Jinya ramen since i ve living Vancouver . but over price and small portion. Staff was kind and they didn t accept cash somehow. Food : 3/5
I didnt get the chance to dine here due to a disappointing experience with the service. Our group consisted of 9 people, and we were informed by the host that an additional 18% service charge would be imposed for groups larger than 6, on top of the bill and tips. We asked if we could split into two groups and sit at separate tables, as there were plenty of tables available in the patio. The host rudely responded with a firm No, which left us shocked. Due to this unwelcoming attitude, we decided to go elsewhere for dinner.
The worst ramen Ive ever eaten before. pretentious service, It was disgusting. I feel like eating ramen that is not good for my health.
Good food, great service. Just kinda weird that the host said you can only eat at the table for hour and a half like its a buffet or something, but other than that everything is great! Service is fantastic!
Good restaurant and excellent service from Malo. Very nice :-)
Tell me it isnt so. Please. The Mr noodles stacked outside the establishment makes me so incredibly upset. Ive spent countless amounts of money here. Please make me feel better about this.
They have a sales promotion on three popular ramen bowls. $10 each till Wednesday. I got the tonkotsu black ramen with crispy chicken. Needless to say, but they have fine noodles, right temperature for soup, great combinations of ingredients, and rich chashu. They always have a quality ramen bowl. I highly recommend it.
I had the chicken ramen and it was very nice. The service is amazing and well trained. I got a lot of noodle. A bit pricey but at least the noodle was plenty and I was full. Beside me was a few Japanese people. Probably very authentic
Worst customer service. The staff served me in a conveyor belt-like manner. There was a large eggshell in my ramen, and when I pointed it out, they just said, Sorry, and took it to the back. The service is always cold and unpleasant, so Ive decided not to go there anymore. The ramens taste is also not good.
It s my first time try JINYA and I like it. Food that we ordered, none of them were disappointed. Especially that prawns, I forgot the name, but highly recommended!!
I recently visited during their 14th anniversary promotion with my fiancée. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Our server, Yuuka, seemed impatient with us when we were deciding upon our order and forgot our water until the end of our meal. The ramen was overly salty. In my haste, I paid the bill without noticing we were charged full price despite the promotion. Thankfully, Yoshito later resolved this issue, but overall, the visit did not meet our expectations.
No. Just no. Don t even bother coming here
Used to go here all the time. However, it s gotten VERY VERY SALTY. IT WAS LIKE EATING OCEAN WATER AND ADDING SOY SAUCE INTO IT. I m not sure if they changed their recipe or something but the ramen became extremely salty. BUT the manager was super friendly and even attempted to bring me a less saltier bowl. However, it was still very salty. Shoutout to the manager (Japanese guy) he was great. The chef what happened guys nande salty nande?
Great people. Great food Great service. Food : 4/5
Delicious ramen with flavorful broth
Honestly, the noodles were average and nothing special. Waiting 1 hour and 25 minutes definitely isnt worth it, especially when there are much better options in that area.
Ramen was delicious and the restaurant is gorgeous. Highly recommend.
Amazing service kind and generous service and portions, Well priced and lovely atmosphere. A great place to always come back to!
First time at a bar, eating ramen, fried dumplings, and takoyaki
Loved the food and service here
Ridiculous customer service! My wife ordered through Uber Eats, got half of the order and when my wife called the restaurant, she was told to call Uber to complaint: That was all they could do, she was told, because they dont deliver. Thats the kind of treatment we got for overpaying for a Ramen and dumplins equivalent to a kids-sized meal. Tks Jinya!
Will come back
The are excellent, and service are great.card only
Fantastic staff and extremely personable employees. I had a mess up in my first order placed through UE, and although it was wrong, it was still tasty. I called back and spoke to the manager, Yoshi, who was more than polite, very attentive to the issue, and made it all right. Upon my 2nd arrival for the rectified order, I spoke with Andy, and he was very quick to get everything rolling, knew of my arrival, and had the order returned within 10 minutes of waiting. 10/10 even with an issue. I would recommend giving them a try, and I black UE on the mess up. Extra-step-technologies almost always have the ability to hiccup. They did everything right in my eyes. Thank you for trusting me, Yoshi, and thank you for your amazing service and Hand shake goodbye. Worth your time and money.
I always over eat when I am at this place. It is so tasty. Sometimes it is a little loud and hard to hear other ppl at your table, also the table sauce jars never really seem that clean.. but the food is yum
Great place for happy hour
