I had an amazing dining experience at Behind You Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious!. I ordered the Beef Stir Fry + Rice. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. What truly set this restaurant apart was the exceptional service – the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. To top it off, they surprised me with a thoughtful little gift after my meal, which was such a lovely and unexpected gesture. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for great food and a memorable dining experience!

The best food court I have ever been to. We got the seared salmon bowl, and it was amazing. Additionally the staff were so kind to even deliver it to our table and check in halfway through! (Granted, it was not a busy day). Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a tasty meal in China town :-) While writing this we got a free cookie 🍪
I can't say enough good things about 'Behind You'! This restaurant has quickly become my daily go-to spot. Mahesh, the owner, goes above and beyond to create customized indian style meals that are absolutely delicious. Working nearby, I appreciate the convenience and the warm, welcoming atmosphere every time I visit. If you're in the area and craving good food - vegetarian or non- vegetarian, 'Behind You' is a must-try!
I had the Chicken Masala Rice. Lots of chicken, great flavour and spice level, crispy papadam. The lemon wedge is a nice touch. The bowl is deceptively large. I've had fried rice from Chinese restaurants and been able to finish them easily. Maybe Behind You's containers are a little wider or deeper or piled higher, but it felt like a lot of food. I was full 75% of the way through. The owners/staff are really nice. They came to check up with me, to make sure the food is to my liking. Which is unheard of in a mall food court. The surprised look on my face was for that reason. Great food, large quantity, exceptional service and a fair price. I will definitely go back. They have a diverse and eclectic menu including sandwiches, wraps and pastas. I want to try several of their items.
I came here with my family for lunch. We had Crispy cauli bowl, yam fries, and veg quesdillas. Everything was delicious and the staff was also very friendly. Highly recommended !!! Will definitely visit again to try other things.
Thanks fellow Google locals Guides for recommending this gem. It's hidden in a small and a bit sketchy mall but the food and service is amazing and the prices are absolutely affordable for Vancouver. It would have never found that. Check the Menu if you like a dish you will love there version. I had the Bollywood wrap. Amazing.
I recently checked out Behind You restaurant and tried a few goodies!✨ The tofu bowl was loaded with fresh veggies, and the sauce with the fried tofu was a hit. Plus, the portions were generous for the price! My ultimate fave was definitely the butter chicken. it came with nan bread and rice, and man, it was the best butter chicken ever! And let's not forget the Oreo shake, it was so good, that I couldn't put it down. Also the owner couple is the loveliest ever. They are very warm and fiendly❤️ Can't wait to go back and try more from their menu!!
Chicken curry and rice was awesome
Such a nice spot that s tucked away in Chinatown Plaza. I didn t know about it until recently but since finding out about them, it s slowly become my go-to spot for lunch on my break. They have such a varied menu, which would usually make me hesitant, but I ve loved every dish I ve had. Definitely recommend this spot to any and everyone!

The food here is absolutely amazing. They put a lot of love into their dishes and it shows. This isnt fast food this is quality eats! I havent actually found a place like this in years, it is truly a hidden gem.

Incredible food, amazing cx service
An update to my previous review. I was quite impressed by this place. I havent had a burger like that in quite some time, in my opinion it was better than five guys by a mile. The fries were cooked to perfection and the gravy was delicious. I did find it odd to have an egg on a clubhouse but it was huge and tasted amazing nonetheless. I can see why this place has such a high rating. Will be back to try everything on the menu!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming ambiance. The service was impeccable. Staff are attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with helpful suggestions. They were prompt with our orders and ensured we had everything .

I ate dinner here today, the Keefer Burger and waffle fries. I was completely blown away by the quantity and quality for $16. This is a hidden gem in the Chinatown Plaza. Highly recommend checking out the place, as well as the wide range of dishes on the menu. Also, service was friendly and kitchen spotless. 10/10. A follow up. I returned to Behind You two weeks later for Round Two with the Keefer Burger. Well, I was once again blown away. The second photo is from my second visit. Once again 10/10.

Really good food, everything I have tried on the menu is excellent. We are working on a site close by and go here a lot, never had a bad meal from here, top notch every time. Nice people too, always pleasant and friendly.

amazing food! Didn t have super high standards going in, because of the quiet mall, but wow I was blown away by how yummy the food was. I had a veg quesadilla, and my partner had a chicken bollywood wrap. Both were super delicious! the tandoori sauce is to die for. Vegetarian options: lots! none vegan though.
We went there last week and We ordered chef s spcl salad and penne alfredo . They looked tasty,and freshly made and it was so delicious I d love to visit again. Id recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family, or a partner.Overall, I enjoyed our experience. It was run by couple and they both are so nice and caring of their customers, highley recommend this place

2. First time in the restaurant and surprisingly it was their opening day It s the cutest little outlet in chinatown plaza with amazing food.The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again.
The food is amazing. This is the best fish and chips . The flavour are impeccable and I cannot imagine anything better. All the dishes our family had (pasta , nachos and fish and chips) were so delicious . The food is well balanced and affordable price! For sure will visit again

Such a gem !! A new restaurant in Chinatown plaza, Vancouver. Me and my husband came here on the recommendation of one of my friends. We ordered few dishes Fusilli puttanesca, Penne Alfredo(got xtra toast) and Truffle fries. It was very flavourful and tasty. We ll definitely make this a go to stop whenever we re in Vancouver downtown. Great food with friendly service. I can easily recommend. And I am glad they do take out service as well. Loved it !
