Dining inspired by the streets of Florence! Aperitivo, Italian wine, negroni list, cocktails, house baked schiacciata bread sandwiches. House wine $1/oz until 6:00 pm daily
Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend everything shown in the photos—definitely worth trying. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. This has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and I’ll be visiting often. Although it’s located near Chinatown, the quality and atmosphere are truly outstanding. Highly recommended!
Had our wedding here and couldn’t have picked a better spot! The food was amazing they made sure we all left full! The staff were so great all night making the best drinks and making sure everyone had what they needed. Definitely check this spot out for dinner it will not disappoint!
I had always wanted to visit this place for happy hour after discovering they offer a bottle of prosecco for just $35, which was such a great deal. We ended up having two bottles between the two of us and really enjoyed it. For food, we ordered the Fritto Misto from the happy hour menu and the Formaggi e Salumi (for 2) from the dinner menu. Both paired perfectly with the prosecco. The ambiance was actually nicer than it looked in the photos. As for the service, it felt a bit cold at first, but things improved after she checked our IDs haha I’d have to say that we were happy with the service overall, except for her. All in all, I would definitely love to come back to this place again.
What a hidden gem! Visited this place recently and we liked it very much. Will go back to try other cocktails (if not Negroni cuz it has become one of my favourites) and dishes on the menu. My mouth is watering even think about it. 😋
Great experience! We sat down at the bar, had a great bartender, and was very friendly. Delicious food and great wine! Thanks to all the staff for a great dining experience.
came here with family and it was amazing! 100% recommend the coccoli and prosciutto, as well as their strawberry mille feuille; thought the gnocchi was just okay but it might be a personal preference. our server was so lovely and kind, and the atmosphere is very relaxed but at the same time the restaurant has a high level of service. also their cocktails are great!
I love Fiorino! It’s a perfect spot for a girls catch up or date night. Dishes are family style and better enjoyed when shared anyways in my opinion ;) I’ve been lucky to go there twice so far and the ribs are really good and tender - definitely slather that sauce all over it. Octopus the first time I went was my fav dish of the year but this time seemed a bit modified and smaller/over cooked in general but still paired well with the pork belly. We also had the cappalletti tirolesi which I found OK but my friends absolutely loved this dish. My personal palette was just not loving the filling but the sauce was so delicious. Salad was nothing big to write home about but nice for fresh greens on the table. Their dessert is also to die for - I highly recommend the millefoglie and the tiramisu. The staff are very kind and I love good service! They have outdoor seating as well which is nice to enjoy when Vancouver gets some sunny weather! I haven’t had a chance to try their lunch menu yet but it is on the list!
Went here for happy hour and overall good! House wines were $1 per ounce and the food was pretty good! The fritto misto was the highlight for me and everything else was alright including the meat & cheese board, salad, and arancini. I would say the tiramisu is one of the better ones we’ve tried in the city though.
Managed to get back to Fiorino again last week, and once again. It did not disappoint. In fact they awakened my taste buds to another level. We chose the set menu and enjoyed a very tasty Polpo and Gnocchetti. Which was topped by Rosticciana which fell off the bone. The most memorable dish for me was the Coccoli e Prosciutto which danced in my mouth. The hospitality was orchestrated by our attentive server Bianca with gentle touch added by Giovanni Will I be back of course I will, also i cannot wait to try out their new location later in the Spring out at the Quay in North Vancouver
Average all around
What a lovely surprise in the neighborhood. We went for a celebratory dinner and the food was great but the service made the night. We had the double stuffed ravioli, octopus and radicchio and anchovy salad. Tasty, timely and would totally order again. At the end of the meal the server brought us a surprise tiramisu to celebrate my Masters graduation. Totally unexpected as it wasn t a milestone (birthday/anniversary celebration) but made the night so special for me. Totally worth checking out!
The owner Mitch was very nice!
Hidden gem of Italian cuisine in Vancouver for sure!! The prosciutto and gnocchi blew our mind!! I found the octopus and pork belly a bit too fatty, but still delicious. Dishes are big portions for share. Restaurant is small and cozy, service is ok.
Outstanding food and service every time! Always look forward to going back.
A lovely place most delicious food I highly recommend
This restaurant is somewhat off-the-beaten path in Vancouver, but do not let the location deter you from visiting this little gem. The food is amazing and the home style dining set up makes you feel like you re actually eating at someone s kitchen in Tuscany or some other place in Italy. We had two hours but even that wasn t enough to taste everything. Menu selection is ample and the service is good. I would suggest a big group might be more fun. We had 11 people and it was exactly how I pictured a meal with 11 friends would be like!
Went here for a work lunch and all the pastas we had were very well flavoured and fresh
We took our 3 kids here for an early dinner on a weekday so I m guessing the restaurant was quieter than it normally is. Our server was friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere. Most importantly, the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend it.
Very good deal at Happy hour , I love the wine so much!
Came on Remembrance Day. Clearly the chef was not here and they reheated food from the day before. The pasta was cold and hard - microwaved. House baked schiacciata was hard - it was not fresh and reheated. The Fritto Misto was soggy - oil reused from the day before. The Paccheri al Ragu sauce tasted like it was from a can. Come hanno ottenuto una menzione Michelin e impossibile!
It was the best dinning experience in a long time. Excellent, delicious food, very attentive and friendly staff and all that in a beautiful, comfortable setting. We will be back soon.
I ve lived here for 2 years & this was by far the best dining experience I ve had in Vancouver!! The food was unreal, we had bread & Aranchini then the rack of ribs & gnocchi and all of it was soo good we came back after our pottery class to try the tiramisu too which was also amazing! the host, servers & bartenders were all so lovely and attentive and the atmosphere was gorgeous!! I already cant wait to go back :)
We loved the food and service was just as great. I think I would have liked a non pork pasta dish just because of dietary restrictions.
I tried their happy hour and loved it, so I returned for my friend s birthday.
Walnut pesto gnocci was amazing, huge amaro selection and classic italian cocktails if youre into that, friendly, fun, knowledgeable staff makes sitting at the bar the bet seat in the house, and a nice happy hour food and drink selection!
Incredible flavours of Italy. Go with friends so you can share as many dishes as possible.
One of the best restaurants Ive been to in Vancouver! I went for my birthday and every dish we got was incredible. Ive heard others havent had such a great experience, but everything we had was amazing and I would 100% go back again!
We went there on Saturday night. The portion of their food (every food) was so so small but they consider their food as shareable!!! !the taste of the foods were not so good too. Overall not worth your money. Their menu was expensive Food
Spectacular food with knowledgeable staff. One of our favourite places in Vancouver. A must try!
Jay was a fantastic server that made our experience amazing. Will totally be coming back as everything on the happy hour menu was delicious.
We had a large party for a film group that needed to be in and out in around an hour. Gio and his team knocked it out of the park in every aspect. 10/10 recommend and will be back with friends to enjoy the $1/ounce wine!
I had an absolutely amazing experience at Fiorino. Upscale casual, we were a party of 3 ordered the ribs, house bread and arancini. Every bite was amazing. The service exceptional. I m already looking forward to my next visit. Although I can t speak from my experience with the cocktails (I don t drink). My friends were raving about how delicious They were! 5 stars all around, service, atmosphere, food it was unbelievably delicious and an amazing experience!!
Authentic Italian Restaurant in the heart of Chinatown. I have been several times for dinner and happy hour, which offers great value. The quality of the ingredients is top notch and the Coccoli with Prosciutto are an absolute must-try.
We stopped in on a whim, and we were very happy with our choice. The food was great and staff was very kind.
Omg! This Michelin bib place is a must to discover! They will amaze you with their meal specialties and deserts! I strongly recommend this restaurant!
Comfortable, Unbelievable, Courteous. Ambience, Food, the Service. Food
Fiorino was good, but on the night we visited, there was a very large and very loud group at the long table in the center shouting across the table to each other, echoing off all the wallas and ceiling and creating an interesting experiment in sound wave interaction. It was hard even to hear our waiter over their noise, though he apologized profusely for their disturbance and mentioned they were friends of the owner, with the implication that they couldnt be asked to leave as a result, and said he thought theyd be done soon. They werent, so 3/4 of the meal was spent trying to have a meaningful conversation with the rest of our party and struggling to speak over the noise. Its disappointing that the owners friends were so unaware of their own uncouth behavior that they nearly ruined the dining experience for everyone else. The food was quite good, especially the Sformato di Zucchine, an amazing zucchini souffle. The alcohol free cocktails were just okay. Overall, the energy of the restaurant was really off and I am unsure whether Id return.
I placed 3 star for food not because its bad, quite the opposite. It looks like the chef has put a lot of thoughts in their work, ingredients selection and combination of them. The food is very good. Unfortunately, in my view, the portions are a bit small. The menu states that all meals are served in family style and are designed for sharing. Well, three raviolis tell me a sad story about a very tiny family, while Im not sure in what world half chicken is easily shareable. Dont take me wrong - the food is great and the service is extremely friendly and welcoming, but be prepared for small portions and a bit misleadingly shareable menu. I also had a brunch there - it was a triple-A experience with zero regrets. Thats why I came there for a dinner.
as a fantastic experience! The ambiance was lovely, the service was outstanding, and the food was phenomenal. The menu is small but packed with delicious options, including plenty of vegetarian dishes and a few vegan choices. Vegetarian options: Lovely Squash Risotto, Ravioli and more!
Amazing food. Prices during happy hour are great. 3 people can easily over indulge with $100 all in. Great friendly service.
I ve been here once for lunch, twice for dinner- great vegan/non-dairy options and the service has always been excellent. A gem in the city
I like the service, the server was kind and he knows about wines well. Clean and nice modern interior, I like it. I enjoyed the place.
Delicious pasta. Great happy hour. Very friendly staff
Came here for lunch and the food was amazing. Enjoyed the vibe and would definitely go here for dinner, especially family style.
Always great!
I love the vibe and the great food at Fiorino. They have the best fritto misto I have eaten since leaving Italy. The servers are friendly and welcoming. Best happy hour deal in the city!
Incredible place with amazing food and atmosphere, would come back You definitely must try the sandwiches! Food
Thank you thank you for treating our large group so well. The set family style menu was amazing. The food was so tasty, and the cocktails and wine were perfect. Service was amazing.
My partner and I threw our wedding reception here and wow we were blown away! The food was exceptional (many guests say it was amazing and the best food they ve ever had at a wedding). We did three courses and curated the menu with the owner, Gio. We opted for steaks and chicken as the mains and the steaks were beautifully presented to the guests before being sliced for us. Gio ensured all courses came out according to our schedule. So appreciated! Drinks were also awesome. The espresso martini was a huge hit. The server/bartender were very friendly and accommodating. The venue is super cute, perfect for an event but also for a date night or dinner with friends. Thanks again Gio and team - we will be back! Dietary restrictions: We had celiac and vegetarian guests and both were easily accommodated. Wheelchair accessibility: We had a guest in a wheelchair and it was no problem. There is a large accessible bathroom.
Vancouver-ly priced, better food, sassy staff but I still like it.
The food was very expensive and not seasoned well. Some of the dishes were extremely salty to the point it was simply not enjoyable. The service was good and the staff friendly. Overall I wouldnt recommend this restaurant based off of the price point and quality.
10/10 Amazing service had amazing food! So so so good!! I will be coming back again great vibes
The carpaccio is really good. Other food are above average. The octopus dish is a bit disappointing as I had better octopus at other Italian restaurants. I like the decoration as it brings me to Italy. The service is good, too.
really nice server , came in early to explain that it s my friends bday and server already knew to get a tiramisu with candle. Kindly explained the menu as well and took a photo for us. The food is one of the best i ve ever had in my life and i say that with confidence. I ll definitely come here as much as i can in my life.
We had dinner here recently with our daughter and her boyfriend. Very good food. Lovely patio area. Service was superb. I would highly recommend it.
Saw this place in the Michelin guide and decided to try it out with my friends. They were so accommodating and friendly, and the food was out of this world!! Love that the menu changes, but that they keep the classics, and will be going back again soon! Vegetarian options: Lots vegetarian options and some vegan options Dietary restrictions: Took care of all our allergies Parking: Tons of street parking Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs, and also made space for a stroller
The vibes are nice here but the foods were not as good as i thought it would be
Great place to grab a few drinks and have some Italian street food!
Heard about this place and its michelin stars. Safe to say the food was very good, albeit on the pricier end but happy to pay for the quality. Got the fileja pasta which, to my pleasant surprise, i havent eaten since i was in croatia. Def brought back memories. The goat cheese was rlly good. Was very fresh and filling. Also highly recommend the housebread w olive oil. So so good w the flaky salt and nice to mop up remaining pasta sauce. The moctail white wine spritzer took me right back to summers in italy. Service was good, only gripe was that it was kinda slow and they werent busy. Atmosphere is so cute and retro
Save my date
Run, don t walk. It was so delicious that I ventured in twice in one evening. Not a whiff of pretence from our friendly server. I could have eaten the gnocchi all night. A serendipitous, mouth-watering evening from start to finish.
Oh. My. GOD. What a great experience we had at Fiorino last night. I dont get to try many Michelin restaurants and I can definitely understand why this restaurant has its stars. Ive never had better Italian food anywhere in Vancouver. Cutest inside, friendly, well versed staff who guided us to 4 dishes we really loved. Im going to be craving the Cappelletti Tirolesi for days to come. Cant wait to come back and try everything else! Thank you.
Love their happy hour!
This was our third visit to Fiorino and it was our best visit yet. One of the friends that joined us could not stop repeating, this is incredible, every time another dish arrived at our table. Our server was exceptional - super friendly/fun and very knowledgeable, the food incredibly tasty as well as creative, and the atmosphere was energetic. I love how this restaurant serves high end food without feeling stuffy. Cant wait to return.
Authentic Italian experience in a thriving pocket of Chinatown. Good food and great people.
Outstanding food and service! Wonderful place to share dishes or have your own menu. A real gem in Vancouver!
The flavors of each food we had was to die for! Highly recommend!!
Wife and I went to this establishment on August 14, 2024 to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. The place is clean and inviting. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. My wife had the house white wine and I had the negroni rosa and house red. The negroni is very tasty and the house wines is very smooth. For food we had the pane casalingo (warm bread with olive oil and balsamic), vegan gnocchetti (gnocchi in sauce) and polpo e nduja (octopus with pork belly). Very delicious. Will definitely come again. I want to send our sincere appreciation to our server (I apologize I did not ask for his name) who really went above and beyond by helping us celebrate our anniversary by offering a complimentary limoncello drink/shot. Thank you for making our day!
Good was amazing! The vibe was also perfect for a Saturday night dinner!
Fiorino s is a hidden gem in Vancouver s Chinatown, offering authentic Italian cuisine in a cozy, welcoming setting. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for a nice meal. The food is exceptional, with dishes like the gnocchetti and the ribs standing out as a must-try. The carpaccio is a fantastic starter, and the tiramisu is the perfect way to end your meal. With an impressive wine list and top-notch service, Fiorino s is easily one of the best Italian spots in the city. Highly recommend!
Our server Callum was AMAZING!! We loved him so much and he was so enthusiastic about all the menu items making it very easy to choose with his guidance! We will be back and asking for him again :)
Delicious food. Cant go wrong with anything on the menu.
Loved the gnocchetti and ribs. Perfectly cooked and balanced.
It was the first time any in our group of four visited Fiorino. It won t be the last time. I had the Maialona sandwich of pork belly, arugula, pesto, Parmigiano Reggiano, and chili mayo. Another chose the Bacco sandwich: tenderloin, red wine mayonnaise, cheese, arugula, and caramelised onions. Both were tasty but had a little too much oil. Two diners enjoyed pasta dishes and those were the stars of our lunch. Immediately after tasting, one person asked for two additional servings to be packaged for home. Service was friendly and not intrusive. This is an informal place with a little outdoor seating. Decorations are simple with many photos displayed to remind us the owner s Tuscan roots.
For our regular Wednesday lunch group, Fiorino in the heart of Vancouver s Chinatown provided an exceptional culinary experience. Despite a brief wait due to our large group, all entrees arrived simultaneously, ensuring everything was served at the perfect temperature. This Michelin guide restaurant truly impressed us with its generous portions and delightful flavors. The Spaghetti all Astice featured a delicious blend of fresh lobster meat and lobster bisque absolutely heavenly. The Fritto Misto was an impeccable seafood platter, and the Piccata di Vitello was exquisite. The fresh schiacciata bread sandwiches, Bacco and Vegana, Delicata, were superb. The $1/oz house wines and variety of Negronis were unbeatable. The service staff, particularly Gio and Mitchell, ensured we had a memorable dining experience. We will certainly be back! Parking: Easy to find street parking, and there s a paid parking garage on Kiefer street.
Delicious food and great service. The tiramisu is the best Ive had outside of Italy!
The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and expertly prepared and presented. Even better was the discussion with some of the staff about The Rolling Stones concert we had attended the night before! Definitely returning when I m back in Vancouver! Food
Recently went with the family to celebrate my wifes birthday. The cocktails were on point, the interior of the restaurant is stylish with a feeling that youre somewhere in Italy, and the dishes were delicious. We will be back.
Had the pork belly sandwich on their homemade Schiatchiatta bread and it was great. Pricey, yes, at $21.00 but well worth it.
One of my favourite Italian restaurants in the city, their sandwiches are amazing.
It was a good pizza. It wasn t fantastic. Service was good small little pizza joint but if you re in the area, it s worth it going. I came quite the distance for it.
Fantastic Italian Michelin Star restaurant. The salad was superb. Seafood pasta was delicious.
We had the Catalina salad, carpaccio, and Cappelletti Tirolesi - all excellent. The cappelletti was delicious with a combination of bright and very rich flavours. Given the richness this dish is definitely one to share. Finished with the Limetta and Millefoglie. Both were beautifully presented with a fresh, light sweetness. Service was top notch. We ll be back!
Overpriced and somewhat tasteless. A big high ceiling place with a cold feeling - hard, uncomfortable furnishings. Everything is shareable appitizer-type plates, so I find that I dont feel as if Ive had a dinner, just pickd at a bunch of different finger foods so that Im not satisfied but also too full for a real meal. I wouldnt cross the street to eat here.
Fourth time eating here and it just keeps getting better and better. Every single dish we ve had has been mind blowing. Easily my new favourite restaurant in town.
Bread & arancini were absolute standouts, though everything was delicious. Service was also excellent, very personable yet professional. Outdoor seating on a summer s evening is the place to be!
The prosciutto sandwich is divine!!! You must try it!!!
My friend and I popped by for a snack and quite enjoyed the selection. So many yummies to choose from. I had a peach blueberry pastry and my friend had a whole grain croissant. Both very delicious! :) Quick, courteous service. As for the atmosphere, I would recommend turning off the bright overhead lights and introducing more ambient lighting by the tables (just like they have over their pastry display). Kid-friendliness: My grind had her baby and stroller.
Fiorinos has been my go-to restaurant for a couple years now - when friends and family visit, this is where I bring them. Ive worked my way through most of the negroni list, and dream of the bread and the arancini. I have my favourites on the menu, but whenever I try something new, its always been tasty. I always struggle to save room for the tiramisu which is a shame because its some of the best tiramisu Ive had. I love the environment - great vibes, great atmosphere, great service and the people are absolutely lovely. A Vancouver gem.
A lovely food sharing experience. The friendly service and general vibe with delicious food options makes it an experience to remember. Highly recommended.
Misleading and manipulative sales tactics. They say that we d want at least 3-5 dishes making it look like the portions are not that big. We ended up with way too much food for two people and had to take some of it home. Food was fine, in general but almost every dish was too salty. It took them forever to prepare everything.
I was at Fiorino a few weeks ago. The food was amazing. As it was my first time here, the server who was helping us made great recommendations. I really enjoyed the carpaccio and the ribs with the red wine sauce (I forget the name). The staff is very helpful and accommodating and I will definitely stop by again!
just had a nice time, everything went so well! Nice to go somewhere like this with character & in Chinatown too. Went for a nice stroll around the area after!
Visited Vancouver for the first time recently and came upon this place. What a wonderful surprise! Can t recommend it enough. The food is fantastic & the location and service are . Treat yourself and give it a shot!
Great food, great atmosphere and great service.
Ive never been to this restaurant but reading the reviews sounds all very good. I cant imagine flies flying around , that would be terrible
Non-pretentious place with very good vibe! Lively but pleasant, this place is great for cocktails and food - our two pasta dishes were delicious! In addition to the regular menu, they also had one cocktail, one pasta dish, and one dessert of the day, which uplifted the experience. The staff team is relaxed and friendly. Thank you to the Fiorino team.
I went with a group of 5 in December. The online menu is very different from the dine in menu. I wasn t expecting much since it mentioned street food, which I typically avoid. When we arrived the place was lively. The decor was modest and comfortable, though a little tight for a party of 5. We ordered the Carpaccio, Polpo, Gnocchetti, Rosticianna and a few more to share with a few bottles of wine. The service was friendly and professional. The portions are very small, but every item was delicious. The ribs were good, but a bit dry. Will definitely be back. Follow up The food hasn t been as good as it was the first time around close to Christmas. I ve went there three times total. There likely won t be a 4th try.
Went there for a corporate dinner, our table was set and ready right at the time of our reservation. The food was outstanding and the service was even better. The decor is perfect, warm and welcoming. Absolute amazing spot that I keep coming back to, highly recommend.
The best.
Gnochetti super good, $1 per oz wine for happy hour, super friendly service. Also best salads I ve ever had. Big fan of this place
Good guys Andrew n Anthony Regards Jimmy Food : 5/5 |
After a lacklustre visit of Commercial Drive on Italian Day, we decided to go to Fiorini instead. Overall, pleasantly surprised by the food items, would say it s pretty different compared to your standard pasta and pizza offerings (more so tapas style) Arancini ($16) 7/10 As someone who dislike arancini, this was actually well done, pretty juicy and the red roasted pepper helps make the taste less monotonous Pulpo e Nduja ($29) 6.5/10 Pretty good though I felt like both octopus and pork belly would have been better if grilled longer. Appreciate the unique combination. Coccoli e Prosciutto ($28) 7/10 First time trying something like this. The dough almost tastes like a lighter, fluffier doughnut? The prosciutto got a bit overwhelming at the end, whereas I felt like they didn t give us enough ricotta. Cappeletti Tirolessi ($28) 7.5/10 A nice spring-summer pasta dish. Love the peas and the goat cheese filling Formaggi e Salumi for 2 ($26) 6.5/10 A little bit too heavy on the meat side, though quality is much better than the average deli I ve tried in Vancouver. Would ve prefer more Italian cheese instead tbh.
Horrible Service the waitress completely treated me and my family like trash. She says that they don t serve out food of the menu after 5pm ( which they need to make it clear in the website). We came to Vancouver exited to try this restaurant and they just ruined. Even the waiters in the beginning was completely ignoring us when we entered. Horrible experience. Don t recommend
Food portion is so small, and taste is not that great, can t believe the rating is so high. Won t come again.
The cold cut was too fatty and porky the carpachio had so much sauce on it. It tasted only like mayo. Food
If only the service matched the food they were serving this would be a 5 star but I was quite disappointed and frankly upset by the service received --- completely ignored that we had a baby, didnt offer to bring a high chair and when we requested one she acknowledged but completely didnt bring one - served other tables. We waited about 15 minutes but we got fed up waiting so we grabbed the chair ourselves. This just set the tone for a crappy night.
Got our party of 9 in very quickly. GREAT food. Waiter Gio took care of us very well.
We went on a Tuesday night. Pretty disappointed with the food here, especially considering the price! Service was friendly and attentive, and the branding/decor is excellent. In terms of the food, the butter lettuce salad was ok, but octopus was soggy and pork belly was not rendered enough and also soggy. The ribs were tender and fall off the bone but also lacked texture and contrast. The negroni was great but the other cocktail tasted too much like neo citran to me. If it were half the price, this might be a great place to come grab a snack and a drink, but for $40 an entree, I d rather go elsewhere.
Absolutely loved everything, especially the pappardelle ripiene - it was to die for! Will definitely be back, and would recommend!
Worth a trip to China town for Italian street food! The set up of the restaurant made I feel so comfortable. There is paid street parking outside the restaurant. Foods are amazing as well
Excellent food, but if youre seated outside, be prepared to have hords of people walking by, or waiting to be seated, gauck at your plates and make comments. Waited 27 min for the tiramisu. Expensive, but overall delicious.
This was the worst experience Ive had at a restaurant in Vancouver. The value for money for the food was absolutely atrocious. A complete joke. The capellini pasta dish for $34.00 included five pieces of pasta and felt like an appetizer. After expressing how disappointed we were with the pasta dish the staff assured us that the half chicken entree was a generous portion. Apart from the chicken that included 4 little broccoli stems and about seven baby potato halves and a watercress salad, a few garnish pieces of lettuce. $118.00 bill that I was so mad to pay. Ive never done this before but we literally went and got Popeyes chicken after leaving this place. I will never go here again or recommend this to anyone.
Fiorino is the best Italian food in Vancouver, and very well may be the best restaurant in Vancouver. We have celebrated many birthdays here, as well as many casual meals, and every single time the service and food is next level. Do yourself a favor and check out Fiorino! Kid-friendliness: They are always accomodating with our double wide stroller!
Weve ordered the Mailona, chicken sandwich, truffle pasta, and the fried swafood with vegetable. I wasnt that impressed as the chicken sandwiche was too heavy- breaded chicken, cheese, plus sandwich. Fried vegetable was too oily. Grease was on the serving pan. Service is warm but lacked attention to refilling water, taking order, despite its not full. There were so many flies. Thankfully, I was only impressed with the Mailona sandwich. But I wont hesitate to go back on a dinner.
This is a great new(ish) addition to Chinatown. They have received a bib gourmand from the Michelin guide the past two years and the food and drinks and solid! The staff is always very friendly and the patio gets great sun!
Among the TOP restaurants in Vancouver without a doubt, a delight and with a wide variety of vegetarian options. The staff is extremely pleasant. We will be back soon
Everything we ordered is good. Friendly service.
This cozy restaurant offers great service and delicious Italian dishes that will have you feeling wonderful and satisfied. They have a great happy hour with good snacks for sharing as well as drink options.
There was only availability at 4:15 but there is NO warning that there s only happy hour food at that time. Reso must make mention of that. Frito misto and carpaccio were very be tasty. Sliders were also full of flavour. I never had such a tasty tiramisu Arancini Were regular, there wasn t much taste to them. Ambiance was ok, lighting was all sort of colours, decor was just ok, music just ok. Service was excellent!
As Italians in Vancouver we ve been looking for a place where we could feel like we were back home for a while and Fiorino really is that place. They exceeded our expectations both in terms of service and food. They were welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. We went for lunch once and we had 3 schiacciate: preferita, delicata and apulia. We also had an affogato as dessert and limoncello. Everything was top quality and we really felt like we were in a restaurant in Tuscany instead of in Vancouver. We then came back for dinner as we really wanted to try the fiorentina. It was delicious! To be honest it was a little overcooked compared to what we are used to and the waiting time was a little too long, but that gave us the chance to taste coccoli e prosciutto too! Overall, 5 stars well deserved! We ll definitely come back!
Went to Fiorino on my birthday. Ordered the frito misto, beef carpacio, pappardelle ripiene, pork ribs , salad , and tiramisu. My favorites were the frito misto, beef carpacio and the pappardelle ripene, they were so delicious! The Salad was too bitter for my liking and I didnt like the sour cherries on tiramisu but overall would come back and try other things.
You had me at wine for a $1 an ounce! Great spot.
Our group had a wonderful dinning experience with a set menu ($85). The food was extremely delicious, family style sharing plates was overall satisfied with feeling well fed by the end of the night. Drinks were solid and we crushed a couple fancy bottles of wine to complement the food. The staff were very attentive and service was excellent in navigating our big party. The restaurant has a very cool ambience. Will check it out again in the future for sure.
My favourite restaurant in Vancouver! I dream about the food! It is so fresh and delicious and I am Italian! I tell everyone about it
Like any other city, Vancouver has its hidden gems. Perhaps not so hidden is Fiorino. We sampled extensively and were left salivating for more. We landed on their gnocchi dish and the aged porterhouse. We also had the bread, olives, and fried cheese with house wine. Super experience, great service, and reasonable prices. High praise is deserved.
We recently went to Fiorino for dinner and it was unexpectedly amazing. The food was so delicious, especially the mushroom pasta, I can t remember the name, it was very unique. The service was next level as well. I highly recommend this place and definitely will be back.
Service here was wonderful! Loved the truffle ravioli
Best place for family/share style. Every dish was unique, and great. Every dish that came out was original, with very distinct flavors. Food
Amazing food and even better staff
Went in for dinner tonight and the food was amazing, really enjoyed the taste each dish had. Definitely great food, but I had only 1 thing that kind of saddened me. We went in for a set menu amongst friends of 7 @ $55 per head, and again, food was amazing but the portions that meant to be shared amongst each other were very questionable. Even the last main dish had this pasta that was rolled up into small circles with 6 pieces for 7 people lol. And other dishes felt like we all got costco samples. Again I will not say anything about the flavor of any of these dishes, as I had absolutely no problem with them, but if youre going to have a set menu, making the sharing of each dish make sense, would be a reasonable ask.
Delicious food and excellent service. Gnocchi was excellent.
Delicious food, cocktails, and great service! Was very happy to visit and will definitely be back next time I m in Vancouver. Don t skip the bread, don t skip the gnocchi!
ordered from ubereats i would say it s the worst pasta i ve ever had in van ngl gnocchetti was extremely salty i don t rly know what i was eating! tiramisu was better but still not as good as i thought small portion and expensive doesn t worth the price!
Horrible people! They even don t know how to welcome you. Poor owner thinks he hired some people who are good for his business but, nope!!
I m a picky eater so when I saw the menu I panicked a bit. I had nothing to worry about, the food was extremely nice. My partner order something else and that was very good too. Would definitely recommend Food
Cutest little place with great Italian food in the heart of Chinatown! A must try!
It was our 2nd time dining here, and all we can say its persistent high quality of culinary art. Every dish was carefully and artistically plated, complemented with the fresh and skillful cooking. Highly recommend to order Polpo (Octopus) and Ribs (Rosticciana) which were braised to perfection with the meaty texture yet crushing to the bones! We finished with Budino and Torta allOilo (Olive Cake), love both desserts with completely different styles of preparation. A total of 7 dishes with drinks cost $200, which is a steal these days! Will definitely be back soon :)
Tiramisu is a must try. Juicy and sophisticated
The food was amazing, especially the Arancini. The atmosphere was very cozy and the service is outstanding. Our server, Max, was very kind and friendly. We mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us small cocktails to celebrate! Definitely worthwhile.
Had a lovely lunch at this new to me spot. The mushroom pasta was my favourite but my mom really enjoyed the clam spaghetti dish.
Great service and food. Make sure you make a reservation as it s gets packed. The food is meant for sharing and so each dish is bigger than a single person portion. Paid parking all around only. Highly recommend the carpaccio and fritto misto. Their happy hour for food ends at 5pm and drinks end at 6pm.
A nice place to go in Chinatown for happy hour to read and study.
One of the best Italian food dining experiences in Vancouver! Everything was amazing from the food to the service to the drinks ! We enjoyed it very much and will definitely be back soon!
Everything about this place is first rate. The food was absolutely delicious. Each dish was prepared to perfection. The service was great. Just the right amount of time before each plate was delivered. Definitely recommend. Parking: Drive around block a few times and something will come free
One of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver right now. The food is always excellent (somehow both comforting and surprising at the same time), the service is incredible, and the atmosphere is soo cozy and unique.
Great food and Fair prices. Good wine list and hip nice staff. Well done and thanks.
One of the best meals I ve had in a long time! Every dish was delectable and the service was impeccable. We ordered a bit of everything and shared it a la familia would definitely recommend to anyone who wants great cocktails and a delicious dinner to remember. Can t wait to go again and again so we can try every dish on their menu!
Food was good, but probably not enough to justify its Michelin Bibb Gourmand/recommendation. Service was excellent and our waiter was attentive and very friendly. The beef carpaccio had excellent flavours/textures, but slices were a little too thin (barely thick enough to hold together). The artichoke and gorgonzola arancini was flavourful and crispy and not overpowered by the blue cheese whatsoever. The mushroom/fungi pasta was also a little too cooked for an Italian resultant where pasta should have a good Al dente bite, but flavour was nice. The braised short rib well cooked abit a tad under seasoned and would have benefited from some acid, potentially in the form of an agrodolce. The only accompaniment was mashed potatoes, and definitely lacked vegetables or other component. The desserts were excellent, but the only complaint is that the gelato was slightly icy, indicating poor temperature control during storage or a lack of stabilizer in their base recipe. Parking: Area is not always the safest at night, so it s good to ensure vehicles are locked and valuables hidden from sight.
I got to try their Dine Out 2024 menu and the dinner was great. I definitely recommend the carpaccio, it was one of the best I ve tried! All of their desserts were so rich in flavour, there s really no bad option! Overall, the food was tasty, and the service was great; the only criticism I have is that some of the seating feels a bit tight together. Had there been more spacing, I think I would ve enjoyed the dinner even more. Nonetheless, a great spot to try!
Had a great time at Fiorino! Did the Dine Out. Fabulous experience from the time we stepped in the door. Food was great, cocktails were delicious and the people were friendly!
Came with high expectations but left disappointed.... Food: 1. Fried risotto balls--interesting to try deep fried risotto, but the risotto flavor is not that good, too much cheese on my opinion, yet lacking some spices and broth flavor... 2. Beef carpaccio--not too good not too bad, just wish it would have more spices. There are other Italian restaurants in van make this dish much better 3. Gnocchi--bad...its overcooked. Cant stand the overly mushy and easily breaking apart texture, it supposed to be a bit squidgy. The sauce is great, very flavorful, if its done in the right time, it would be a good dish. But the texture is too bad I had to return this dish. 4, parpadelle--good, but need some improvement on the wrapping shape. They use freshly made dough, the wrap is thin and chewy, tastes very good with the filling inside. But because of the shape of the parpadelle, the top part has too many layers sticking together, making the flour there not fully cooked like the rest of the parpadelle (refer to my close-up picture) I ate the whole thing but left all the top part, cuz its just a bunch of undercooked flour. Sauce is great. This dish is nearly 40 bucks for 3 parpadelle, I expect better pasta with this price, at least not like this throwing away a bunch top layers situation. Service: Quite attentive service. But not really liking the store automatically set tip percentage 25% as the first choice on the card machine, especially food is not even that good, like I spend 100 bucks on a very average meal is already very disappointing, and paying 25 bucks for services within the 1 hour ish dining period at tiny bar spaces ...of course I could choose to type my preferred tip amount, but its really unpleasant to see restaurants do this (setting a very high tip percentage as the first choice on the card machine). Atmosphere: The interior capture some vibes that matches the restaurants cuisine, livly and a lots chatting and laughing. Overall: High prices for very average Italian food. Not quite worth the money and experience. I wont come back myself unless any of my friends or family want to try out the food. Parking: Hard to find parking, we made a few rounds to finally found a paid street parking spot. If you planning to come, reserve some time for parking.
I love Fiorino for their Happy Hours usually - best happy hour in town. We had friends visit and Fiorino was a perfect place to go for dinner where we knew the food would be amazing but that we could also catch up. We had the Dine Out menu in mind just because it was Dine Out, but Jamie our server quickly put together a family style offering that was unbelievable and catered to what she thought we would prefer even more. Every dish was perfect. Love Fiorino!

First time during dine out. Food and service was amazing. Seating and atmosphere was less to be desired . Seating was cramped and was uncomfortable. Patrons on both sides were literally almost on my lap . This was forwarded and staff were notified to look for ways to improve in the future . Definitely request a booth if you make reservations
We had the best experience last night at Fiorino. Our server, Victoria, was incredible - so attentive and knowledgeable. I ve been to Fiorino a couple times before and the food has always been amazing but last night blew my past experiences out of the water. Highly recommend checking them out!!
Went with the fam for dinner and had 4 at a booth. The service was great and timely. We ordered insalata Caterina, Pappardelle Ripiene, polpo e maiele, scottadito dagnello, Tiramisu, and Budino. Stand out dishes were the Polpo and the Lamb, both desserts were really well done. Ordered multiple cocktails each that were delicious and unique, including a few different takes on the Negroni. Pictured is the rack of lamb and desserts. I will definitely be back to explore the rest of their menu.
Its such a warming spot and the interior design opens the space giving it an Italian vibe. I arrived for lunch and the veganese sandwich hit the spot, I loved it and I cant wait to come back for more. Service was impeccable and friendly. Thank you!
Food was very authentic and delicious. I usually go out to somewhere nice 4-5 times a year. Great value compared to other high quality restaurants. Total bill was $100~ with one app, 2 entres, desert, and wine. Ordered the Arancini, Gnochetti, Pork rack 1/2, Tiramisu. Last 2 no photos unfortunately.
Wow! What an absolutely terrible experience we had an Fiorino. We were greeted by the host and asked to choose two tables that were available, however all of the booths beside the stand were empty and available. The host noticed we were looking at the booths and he reluctantly was like, Oh yeah, we have some people coming in celebrating birthdays, and anniversaries, so those are unavailable. We were there to celebrate my friends 30th birthday and her passing an important exam, but didnt put it in the reservation notes, so it was unfortunate we were given less desirable seats because the host let us know people had more important celebrations. We booked at this restaurant because Fiorino had their dineout menu on their website even though the official festival had ended a few days earlier. We know that some places extend it, so we figured since their menu was up on their website, they were offering it still! When we sat down and were given the regular menu, we asked about the dineout menu, the host rudely remarked that it ended a few days earlier. We mentioned it was still on your menu and he brushed it off like it was irrelevant. Its the only reason we booked there. After that the server came to us and let us know the restaurant menu was designed to be family style and recommended for 3 people to order 5 to 10 dishes. My immediate response was 10 dishes?! They are $40 each and the server rudely responded, okay. After a few brief awkward seconds she walked away clearly annoyed by the interaction. It was bizzare. I guess she told the host about the interaction and he came back to our table and explained to us that 10 would be too much food for the 3 of us and we didnt need to order that many. After all of that. We ordered two appies to share and we each ordered our own dish. I ordered the gnocchi, which was okay, but it immediately made my stomach achey. I was feeling fine but something didnt agree with my stomach. After sharing two appies and having a meal to myself, I still wasnt full. Very frustrating given my portion of the bill came to $60 (with no drinks). There is definitely NO bang for your buck at this restaurant. If you want decent portion sizes for a decent price, do not come here. On top of that, the staff were incredibly rude and standoffish making it a really crappy dining experience which was supposed to be a nice night out with friends to celebrate exciting life accomplishments. If I had it my way I would absolutely not consider this a Michelin Star restaurant. I would recommend double thinking about coming here and spending your hard earned money elsewhere.
This is my 4th time here and I have only ordered the sandwiches so I cant comment much on the other items. The sandwich has noticeably declined in quality. The focaccia used to be a highlight but now its dry and hard - no spring at all and it was overly salted. I felt like the roof of my mouth was being worn away with every bite I took. The meat was piled in the middle of the sandwich but the ends only had arugula. I used to be able to enjoy the flavor of the meat and the spread along with a warm soft focaccia. Todays was hard, dry and not warm. Service was ok but there was only 1 person working the whole place (about 4-5 tables with 2-4 people at each table). Took forever and I had to flag him down to get our check. Probably also why the sandwich came out dried out and the bread wasnt warm. Two sandwiches, no drinks came out to be almost $50. Its unfortunate but I will not be coming back.
Came here with some girlfriends to try their Dine Out menu last month as it offered some of their staple menu items for cheaper. The atmosphere is cozy/intimate with a nice low/soft light kind of aesthetic. The music however is pretty loud, its not the best spot for conversation! Their beef tenderloin carpaccio literally blew me away. 5/5! I normally dont like carpaccio as it often has a balsamic reduction and Im not a fan of the acidity. However, their red wine mayo, cheese and pine nuts added such a delicious umami flavour to the carpaccio! Id come back for this dish alone. I believe regular price for this is $26. For entree I chose a variation of mushroom pasta and opted to add on fresh black truffle for $7. The mushrooms were perfectly cooked and the flavours of the dishes came together very well. Their arancini were only okay, nothing too special and could skip in my opinion! Tiramisu was a miss for me. Heard they have a decent happy hour! Parking: Paid parking on Georgia/Main Street and paid parking lot across the street!
We decided to check out Fiorino after the restaurant we wanted to go to was full. I m glad we ended up going here instead because who knew that there was such a cute, cozy Italian restaurant that serves street food in the heart of Chinatown?! We got the Gnocchetti and the Rosticciana along with a Grapefruit Negroni and another cocktail with grapefruit in it! Both dishes were cooked to perfection and the Rosticcina was cooked to perfection. It just fell off the bones and it came with a delicious cherry glaze. If you love braised ribs and gnocchi, this is the place to go!
Great food and service for reasonable price
Fiorino exceeded our expectations with its delicious food. This restaurant truly is a hidden gem. The delicious food and excellent service made our evening truly memorable. Already planning our next visit for another fantastic dining experience! Highly recommend!
I started coming to this place during the pandemic, because it has high ceilings and is spacious and airy. But I keep returning because the food and service are absolutely amazing. The menu is creative and varied, the wine list is good, and they make great cocktails. The staff is very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend Fiorino.
Went with party of 4 we ordered 6 dishes to share all 10/ 10. Absolutely outstanding flavors & freshness. Will be back , highly recommended.
Can t go wrong with this place!
Came here for happy hour. Took a while to grab a servers attention because HE was busy chit chatting. Eventually a female waitress got me seated and her service was very good. Had the carpaccio and mixed deep fried seafood. Definitely should share this between 2 people. I liked how you can order happy hour red/white special by the ounce
Highly recommend the vegetarian gnocchi!! Also explore the negroni menu.
Celebrated our son s birthday in this hip Chinatown restaurant. The menu was very inventive, the seafood lovers were very happy. Great job guys! Parking: Chinatown has some of the cheapest parking in Vancouver, be sure to download the green dotted Pay By Phone app. Gives you warnings when almost expired.
The restaurant really has the vibe of a small Florentine street-side bar, especially on winter nights when the windows fog up. The ambiance is great. Its a small place, and the tables for two are quite compact, but this doesnt detract from the dining experience at all, because the food is just too delicious. The Carpaccio is a standout, and the home bread has its own unique charm. The prices before the end of the happy hour at 5 pm are particularly reasonable - and the portions are not small at all! Of course, the house wine during happy hour is a must-try. At only one dollar per ounce, my friend and I both tried the red wine. Its quite fresh, slightly light, but with a strong fruity flavor, making for great value for money. For the main course, we tried the Polpo. The pork was fantastic, with no off taste (which is quite rare in Canada), and the potatoes were flavorful with skins on. However, the octopus tentacles were a bit too soft for my taste; I prefer a bit more chew. The Salumi cold cuts were perhaps sliced too thin, which made them less salty than ideal. This included the prosciutto, which seemed to lack sufficient aging time to develop a deeper flavor. We wanted to try their 30-day aged steak, but we were already too full to eat anymore. We ended the meal with a stunning tiramisu, soft and not overly sweet. However, the accompanying Earl Grey tea was bagged and too weak, which was a bit disappointing. As a Vancouver Michelin-recommended restaurant specializing in Italian street food, Fiorino lives up to its reputation. Plus, the prices are fair, making it an excellent choice for a cozy gathering with close friends.
Great food, wine and vibes!
I really liked the Vegana!
Food and service was wonderful. I enjoyed the intimate ambience. Everything on the menu that was ordered tasted fantastic.
Food was good but DONT have large parties here. They are incompetent with dealing with large parties. Had my work Xmas party here and the owner and manager kept arguing over how the minimum spend for the food could not be met even though all the guests had separate bills for alcohol that would exceed the minimum spend. The bill for the set menu food was about $200 short of the minimum spend. Everyones alcohol bills wouldve exceeded this by a long shot , but nope, they kept arguing that the minimum spend portion was separate. Makes NO sense. Oh ya. One guest has a nut allergy and was served nuts and had an anaphylactic reaction. Someone had to run our and grab them a bottle of Benadryl..... Seems like they are very inexperienced when dealing with large groups, or common sense. Maybe both.
We went to Fiorino for the first time on Monday. What a fantastic experience! The food was incredible every single dish! I would say the pasta dishes were my favourite. The service was excellent. Every person at Fiorino was kind, knowledgeable and made our dining experience unforgettable. We can t wait to go back!
Was craving for some Italian food on a Friday night and found this place in my google search. Definitely one of the best Italian food I ve had in awhile! There was also happy hour between 3-6pm but the last call for food was 5pm. We got a few appetizers to go with the drinks to start and then the pasta as our main! Of course, if you still had any room for dessert, gotta get that tiramisu! Also, you gotta make a reservation or else you ll have to settle for a seat at the bar which wasn t so bad to be honest. Lastly, the service was great! Will definitely go back when I crave for some Italian food again! Thanks for the delicious food and a great service Fiorino!
Dinner with my son. Sat at the bar and once again had a great Fiorino experience. Food, drinks and service were all excellent (as usual). This is my current fave place. Thank you Fiorino staff, we shall return.
We had our Christmas party here. Everything was amazing! Family style service with so many awesome dishes. It was the best!! Very nice easy going staff! Highly recommend Food
Food was delicious, service was awesome!
This is truly a gem in China Town. The food and our server Bianca are 2 gems...my husband is very particular about food and he gave huge compliments to the chef and the food, this is his new favorite place to eat. If you are looking for amazing food, service and ambiance please please visit Fiorino!! Michelin star for sure.
Loved it. We had the pappardelle and osso bucco, and both were very good. The team and atmosphere made our anniversary extra special!
The restaurant and the atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and Jenna our server was attentive and charming. It was our first time at this restaurant and of course we will return
If you havent been here, go now! One of the best, most authentic Italian kitchens in Canada. Astoundingly great food. Very much a Street food experience as advertised, but with a home cooked flare. This is precisely what Italian Street food is all about. The pork ribs literally fell off the bone, the funghi (mushroom) pasta was divine and the service was off the charts terrific. We attended to celebrate a very close friends 65th birthday. Every single one of the 60 guests was looked after so warmly and professionally. One of the most authentic food experiences ever. Heartily recommended. Do not miss out!!!
