We had a really great time eating at glowbal, Omar was super nice and his service was amazing! Higly recommended and you will be lucky if Omar is with your table!

Came here with high hopes of having a 5 star experience to celebrate a special day but left utterly disappointed. Firstly, I booked the reservations 2 weeks in advance and requested a booth table. When being seated, the host brought us to the patio but on a middle table. I asked the host if our table could be switched to the empty booth beside the table (as per my reservation request) but she adv she could not let us sit there as it s reserved for a big group. We were at the restaurant for 2 hours and the whole time, the booth beside us was empty. Clearly the booth was not reserved as during our dining, two booths were free. It s sad to see how they value walk ins rather than a group who purposely chose the restaurant to celebrate an anniversary, booked in advance to secure a spot and made special requests. Secondly, the patio was pretty cold. The first part of the night was fine but as the night went on, the cold breeze took a toll. They definitely need more heaters or at least move the heaters closer to the tables. There were other guests who had to put their coats and scarves back on. Thirdly, the food was good but the menu is very limited. The share-able food are overpriced for the quantity. In addition, we requested a pina colada drink but apparently it wasn t on the menu. This is the first fine dining restaurant that wasn t able to deliver on specific requests or even offer something similar. Fourth, the ambiance of the patio was very pretty but the music was horrible. The patio looked like a winter garden which should have Christmas music or something to go along with the theme however they chose to play club music. Definitely contradicting vibes. Fifth, we booked to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary which I made clear in my reservations. the server did give champagne flutes to the couple but we expected something a little more memorable (as requested in my resos) such as a plate with writing saying happy anniversary or something just as other guests have posted photos in their reviews and just as other restaurants in Vancouver would do. Sixth, the service is slow. The tables are pretty small and with the number of dishes we ordered, we were uncomfortable. The bussers took a while to clear dishes off of our table. Also takes a while to get the bill and leave. Seventh, the patio is pretty tight. They do have bag stools but no coat hooks. Therefore you need to hang your coat behind your back on a your plastic chair which made sitting and having dinner uncomfortable. Mind you, it s December and we have thick winter coats. Plus, On the way out, we saw coat hangers by the host table. Disappointed no staff asked if we wanted our coats hung when checking in and after seeing coats hung on our chairs. All in all, Glowbal is a good place for large groups to have dinner. The server was pleasant. But if you re expecting a memorable intimate celebration, choose another restaurant. This restaurant is more for instagram photos but not for an actual experience. We spent over $250 but we know if we chose another restaurant in downtown, we would have received an overall better experience.

Our annual Christmas dinner was spent here and it was absolutely incredible. Celebrated birthday on Thursday Big Cuts Night. Had the Tomahawk for our table. Was superb! Adam, our server, made the night all the more memorable with his impeccable service and personality. Thanks so much!

Beautiful restaurant with disappointing food and below par service. Went with 2 friends and spent well over $300 but left very disappointed. The Brussel sprouts were the only decent dinner items. Friends said the beef tartar was terrible- bland and bad texture. For dessert, the pavlova was vegan and the everyone loved it. Friends said the crème brûlée was also good. The drinks were great and gave the second star in this rating. Most disappointing was the service. Our server seemed grumpy and annoyed at us. He made multiple mistakes, such as bringing the wrong drink and was rude with no apology when we asked him to fix them. I have been quite often but years ago and service and food were wonderful. I am not sure if this was a one off or the direction this restaurant has gone. *EDIT: I reviewed my bill and I was overcharged. They charged me as regular menu instead of happy hours on a couple items. We were well within the time for happy hour. Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian and 1 vegan option.

Were from out of town (Seattle), and the dining experience here was superb. Kevin M. was gracious, easy going, and an overall excellent server. Service was perfectly timed across starters and entrees. No details were lost here. Kevin M and the team nailed the night.

From the moment we walked into this restaurant it was dazzling. We were there to see Taylor Swift, and the restaurant had friendship bracelets and decorations, as they were honoring all of the swifties! We were seated upstairs at a table for two which was decorated perfectly. Our waiter was friendly, efficient and very, very busy! My daughter had the bubble drink, which is a bubble of smoke and it was fabulous. They had named all their regular drinks on one page after Taylor Swift songs. It was a great idea. We were given a soup appetizer, which was a corn soup. It was fabulous. We thought it was espresso at first because it came in such a tiny cup, but it was so good and so cute. I had the pasta Bolognese, which was excellent. If you do get it, add a meatball that was great. My daughter had the fried chicken sandwich with fries, which was also excellent. Great flavor. We were only there for one and a half days so we only got a chance to go once but if we ever go back, we will definitely go back to this restaurant. Everyone was so nice. There were so many swifties and we were all exchanging bracelets. We gave the waiters and bus people bracelets. It was a great atmosphere. They actually have a fireplace too, which is fabulous. The restrooms were great as well very clean and modern. Oh, and one last thing we saw this restaurant on TikTok and that s the reason we came. If you have a chance to visit Glowbal you should!!

Food is overpriced and the service is a little bit rude. The dragon fruit non alcoholic drink I ordered was basically water and tons of sugar.

They needed the table early on so they moved us to a different table, but they more than made up for the inconvenience with some treats. I booked a corporate holiday dinner for 40 people in one of the rooms and it was overall a great experience. It was extremely last minute and Layla, who worked with us to plan it made it very quick and seamless. The room was beautiful and the service was amazing! They accommodated a variety of dietary restrictions including kids meals. The set menu was also very good, although a little expensive for what it was.

Michael was great. Also, so appreciate the special efforts made by Sheenice to find us a table on the patio.

My husband and I visited Glowbal two weeks ago. The food and atmosphere were excellent. However, the next day, we both experienced food poisoning, which was determined to be caused by the oysters we had. (An investigation was conducted.) We suffered from severe vomiting and diarrhea, occurring more than five times. Additionally, we experienced significant body aches, which led us to go to an urgent care. The entire experience ruined not only the following day but also our entire weekend. When we contacted the restaurant, they informed us that the oyster farm is responsible. And the only word we heard from Glowbal was simply, Sorry for the experience. We are deeply disappointed and saddened by the way this situation was handled. Never eat oysters at this restaurant.

We came to celebrate my husband s birthday. The service and food was top notch. Our server, Kevin M. took care of us and was excellent with my 6 yr. old. He also gave us a couple of birthday surprises! The restaurant was also very accommodating to our request of having a table that we can fit a stroller beside for our infant.

At the Santa Brunch buffet: Salmon poke taco-like sushi was really good. Also very much enjoyed the miso salmon and the pastas (Glowbal s signature spaghetti & meatballs, and the butternut squash ravioli & lobster sauce). However, the beef roast was ok - could be improved with more flavour. Desserts were great - didn t get to try all of them, was too full. Keep innovating!

Love! Love! Love! Cannot say enough good things about Glowbal. We had the best time ever at our Swiftie Brunch . The staff were So great, so patient and friendly. The food was yummy and the themed event was a blast. We dined here twice during our trip and many great memories were made here.

Ok, I went for a Christmas corporate event, the company reserve 1.5 hour cocktail & 3 courses dinner. The event was for around 150-200 hundred people. The cocktail hour I don t really suggest it because the line to enter was insane plus the stage and appetizers where at the main entrance so the distribution of the event for the first 1.5 hour was not the best. The dinner was good, everyone had a seat and it was from 6:30 to 9:00 pm which I consider it was a good timing. After that we had 4 hours of music. The food was really good except for the desserts (I talked with my friends about it and most of us were in the same page they were not good). Mixiology was amazing.

Went here before heading to the Eras Tour. The restaurant did a phenomenal job with their decor and themed cocktails. Kevin M. was our server and he went above and beyond for us. Dont fall for the hype. Very disappointing. We sat in the covered area that cant be described as inside or outside the result was those not under a heater froze and the other half sweted it out under the heat lamps. We ordered three appetizers and they were all amazing but thats were the good times end, we all ordered different steaks and everyone agreed they were a 4/10, barley warm, low quality and chewy. Our service was also mediocre, nothing to complain about but not what youre expecting when you drop $700 on a dinner for four. I have had a better dining experience at Cactus Club and I hate Cactus Club. Dont waste your time or money.

I would really love to give 5 stars because the food was really good. But I ended up giving 3 because I went there for my wife s birthday and before going there I called them and confirmed whether they give a cake in there. I wanted to confirm it because if it s not included, I will order it before going there. And when we were at the front the lady was wishing my wife happy birthday and they arranged a table on the upper floor which was really good. But at the end they forgot the cake and I had to go ask from the staff. It felt really awkward because I didn t tell my wife anything about it and I know anyone would love and expect a piece of cake at a birthday dinner. So I was kinda disappointed about it. I ended up getting the cake after requesting again and even after I got the final receipt to pay for the dinner. But the food and the atmosphere were really good. Apart from what happened I like the place.

Hazel was amazing

Dinner was really good and Hazel was great!

Spent our anniversary at Glowbal and was thoroughly impressed by the service. Our server, Hazel, was prompt, helpful with providing suggestions and deciding between different food options, and was able to ensure our needs were being met while serving a number of tables at an incredibly busy section of the restaurant. Thank you Hazel for serving us this evening and making our anniversary more enjoyable! Thank you for tending to us on a busy night - your work does not go unnoticed. The food was delicious - we ordered the 14 oz Blackened Salmon, Fried Brussel Sprouts, and their skewers on special. For dessert, we had the Spiced Pear, which is perfect if you are looking for something fruity, light, and not overly sweet. For our drinks, we had The Roof and Black + Blue , and Hazel celebrated us with free champagne. It has been 4 years since we ve been here, and the quality of food and impeccable service has remained outstanding. Thanks again!

Great place for happy hour and weekend brunch

Amazing service

This restaurant is always a reliable place to have a wonderful brunch/lunch on the weekends. The food is delicious, especially the omelette and the eggs Benedict. They always give yummy mini donuts for free, and sometimes a mini smoothie. The service is excellent. In the summer, the outdoor patio is a delight. #ContestEntry

Went today for brunch and it was a great experience. The eggs benny was delicious and the truffle parmesan mac and cheese was amazing. Really enjoyed the coffee as well. Service was great.

Rediscovered Glowbal as a fantastic lunch and happy hour spot with colleagues during in-office days. The food and service is excellent. The go-to appies: calamari and brussel sprouts which are perfectly crisp, and the mains are on point. I m a mushroom fan so the funghi pasta is my go-to. Today s feature was a mushroom risotto with pine nuts: delish! A shoutout to our server today, Michael and Nora, the server in-training. They got our food out quickly and made sure we had everything we needed so we could enjoy the meal and be back at the office in time. Looking forward to trying out the brunch menu on the weekend!

I visited glowbal today, and it was a fantastic experience. The ambiance was warm and elegant, setting the perfect mood for a special evening. Our waitress deserves a shout out, Krystle, was amazing..her kindness and attention to detail made us feel truly valued. The highlight was the lobster dish, which was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily one of the best meals I ve ever had. The rest of the food was just as delightful, and the servers were sweet and attentive throughout. For anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience, I highly recommend glowbal. it s perfect for any special occasion.

I went there last night with my husband and 2 friends to celebrate our canadian permanent residency. My husband left my Steven Made black bag for a few minutes to take a picture on the entrance mirror and somebody stole my bag with my black boots inside. I am very upset about the situation and the manager has not done anything about it. It would never expect to be robbed on a fine restaurant like that. Anyways I can clearly see that they dont care about their clients. I dont want to ever go there again.

Never had dinner here but I went to Glowbal for Sunday brunch. I had a really fun dining experience with friends plus they offer discount eggs benny on Sunday. The smoothie shots and mini donuts you get as a free table appetizer are really fun (and delicious) additions. Highly recommend.

Glowbal was amazing! We made a reservation, thankfully, on a very busy evening. We got there several minutes early and they were able to seat us immediately, which was super appreciated. Even with it being busy, the service was fantastic. Three of us shared 5 appetizers off of the happy hour menu, and they were all delicious! Their Brussels sprouts, meatballs and beet salad were probably my favourite. Can t wait to come back and do some more shared plates!

Kid-friendliness: They certainly have the ability to be a kid-friendly space. They have highchairs for the littlest ones. And with how accommodating and professional the place is I would certainly consider bringing my young child here. As for the menu, I havent seen a child menu, so Im not certain if they have one or how appealing it would be to kids.

Wonderful experience! They were super considerate about my dietary restrictions. I wish I had asked my waiters name, he was so lovely and made sure everything I ate was GF/DF. And ofcourse, the lovely staff near the entrance; Kate, she was an absolute sweetheart. Definitely visiting again! Food was so worth it :) Kudos to the team!
