Great little joint with quick and friendly service. The shop is located super conveniently- close to transit and right in the heart of the entertainment district!

Came here on Saturday night, good food, good atmosphere, certainly a place visit. Unfortunately I recommend to sit away from the main bar, the curly hair bartender rathers flirt with the guys sitting in front of her than actually paying attention to other customers. I asked her 3 times if she can give me some water and all I had was One second while she was smiling to other customers. The food took a while to arrive, but not sure if it was for the service or the kitchen, since other areas got their food before me. Would come again, but definitely will sit in other area.

Scammers! This is what I saw on December 15 @ 11:30 pm did not ID young customers, served them shots- the group left without paying. Served another customer a beer (without being asked to) who only wanted food. And then tried to bully that customer into paying the bill of the underage group who had just left. Ended up upsetting the customer to the point of shouting. Disgusting business practices. Hire better people! (owner: check your cctv if you dont believe this!). Will not return and may call the police.

From the outside, I thought it would be very noisy, but it wasnt. Mexican food was delicious, and beer and margaritas were also good.

The music is too loud. It needs to match the overall environment and mood. Leaving it playing super loud annoys people who are trying to have a conversation.

I stopped by to have a light lunch. I had the avocado chicken salad and the bacon cheeseburger. The taste was good and the portion was generous. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly. However, it would be a good idea to pay attention to the cleanliness of the tables and chairs.

Definitely some of the best pizza we ve ever had! We ordered a whole pizza that was half bacon with potato and half spicy chicken and shared it among the 4 of us. That, with a side of fries and wings left us full! Thanks, it was really great.

Service was lacking. Looks like we had a new server who couldn t get the orders right, or remember we ordered drinks, or ask us if we wanted more water or drinks. Food was good, just expecting a place called hungry guys to have larger servings for the prices. Don t think we d come back, but nice place to check out.

I went there often during work to eat. At first I got hyped but maybe I ate it too much so I lost interest. It s like a better version of chipotle

It was a good portion of vegetables and meat. I chose beef option and it was very tasty. The prices are definitely much better than poke places. Enough space to sit for dine in. The only down side was that the music was very loud that I could barely hear the sataff when I was ordering and choosing vegetables for my dish. I definitely come back when I need some healthy food in my work break time.

This was one of my favorite places to come to, obviously not that often. I loved coming here for a burrito and a beer, but now its been changed for burgers. So then I opted for a salad, rice salad (bad decision). Service is always nice. Ive always loved the way this place looks on the inside, ive always felt comfortable. Now Ive noticed a rack by the cooler that looks hideous, I dont even know why I bugs me. Has it always been there (Its the little things, for me)? I love that the music is not as loud as it use to be. It is granville street, nothing stays pleasant for too long. Sadly disappointed.

100% recommended The food tastes good, I ordered a veggie burger, and I was really amazed at how good it was, We tried the michelada and the Chelada, and it tasted very similar to the one from Mexico (A little spicy but delicious) The prices were good for us, approximately 12 dollars for the hamburgers and 7 for the chelada. The French fries tasted very good. And the service from everyone was spectacular. If you dont know what to eat or have dinner, this place is ideal Additionally, the Staff speaks Spanish and English Vegetarian options: Bean or tofu burger (Depends on availability)

The food is super fresh and the flavours are so good, they even added some ingredients to the my meal which was not on the menu but I really liked to add. The staff were super nice and friendly, and made the visit super pleasant, definitely coming back. The food was so good that I forgot to take a photo, will add next time we go there lol.

I had one of the best taco and Mexican bowl there. Services was good,but they forgot to substitue one thing i asked. And 2 things wasnt welcoming in there, it was loud music and it was cold.

The tacos and margaritas were amazing! Decent portion sizes, definitely going to try the bowls next time

Burrito was fantastic, vibe is amazing. New gorgeous bar and renovations. Those leaving poor reviews because their favourite quick lunch spot has a new business model should be ashamed of themselves.

This place looked very enticing and aesthetically pleasing but the music and the company name didn t match its ethereal feel or intended demographic. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla but it was extremely salty (even for my not so picky partner ) and I couldn t enjoy it . My partner thoroughly enjoyed his Mexican burrito though. The Americano is served larger than most places I ve experienced, but unfortunately I left hungry.

This used to be a weekly go-to lunch spot for competitively priced build-your-own salads and burritos. Sadly the remodel and rebrand has made this a super expensive place to visit. The food was extremely salty and sadly was with undercooked brown rice. Wont be back :(

I will echo on a previous comment that sums it up well. This used to be a great lunch spot for competitively priced build-your-own salads and burritos when I was working DT. I came back to this place last evening and it has changed quite a lot. Now it is a fixed menu and the food items are small. The burritos used to be big and filling (in line with the name Hungry Guys, right?). I ordered the chipotle soup, the pork burrito and a beer ($38 with tips) but I was still hungry after that. The burrito and the soup were however tasty and the waitress attractive.

Taco salad was tasty, good portions and affordable. The service was great too, although maybe switch up the music to something more chill for daytime (felt like I was eating lunch in a club). My first time eating here wasn t until after the new menu, so I can t say how it compares to the old one, but the new menu is pretty small, could use a couple more salad options. The chain owner says due to food inflation they had to change the business model.

They ruined it by making it more bar-like and switching to the fixed menu. Vibe is different, staff try to act like its a super fancy lounge now, no vegetarian options or custom food anymore. Very sad as this was my fav place to eat downtown.

it seemed to take awhile for someone to take my order. it took even longer to get the bill. they couldnt even give me a reciept or a debit machine transaction record, instead giving me the order chit that goes to the kitchen. the food was nice. i got the shrimp ceviche and beef burito with a chelada beer. the chelada had a salted rim that took over the taste of the beer which could be better if the beer was sweeter and less dry. not terrible. but not fantastic either.

I had been craving churros for a very long time (years) but didnt know where to get them. I was referred here by staff of another restaurant under the same owner. I suspect the waitress thought there was a communication issue when I ordered only churros and a mojito as she called another fellow (owner or manager?) to assist her. I hadnt tried tequila yet and mistakenly thought it was the liquor in mojitos. The staff gently and patiently corrected me, redirecting me to a margarita instead. Churros were cooked perfectly: slightly crunchy yet still pleasantly soft. They came with generous amounts of both creamy chocolate sauce and real whipping cream on the side, both of which had leftovers when I finished. Thankfully this location is a close walk from home so I will be returning again to sample some other menu choices - and maybe a mojito next time.

Popped in for a couple of tacos which were delicious. The server didnt speak Spanish, which is unusual in the Mexican restaurants I know, but she was very attentive and friendly. Nice atmosphere, bar seating or tables.

Literally every time i come here i have a good time. Everything is reasonably priced! All the staff are super sweet and welcoming as well. Usually on some weekends theres a door man that lingers on the outside of the restaurant named Tim - Tim is most of the reason we even keep coming back! This guys energy is great, he is super sweet and gives great recommendations. Thanks Tim for your amazing services, even as a door man you make our experience a 10 everytime we see you! Sad to see other reviews saying the same thing but hopefully the owners will see this and go back to how it was before. I ve been coming here since it opened and used to love the build your own. Prices used to be really good but now they charge extra for everything and the quality has gone downhill.

Wonderful little gem, great food and service!

I loved the site. I would recommend it to go for lunch or dinner. We ordered a burrito, which is delicious, and a salad that was also very good. The service was very very good. The waiter was very friendly and I loved talking to him at the end of the meal. I love striking up a conversation when Im visiting a new place. We would return.

Great place for happy hour or brunch. The food is tasty and they have good tequila specials. In the heart of Granville but a really cozy vibe inside. Perfect place for a quick bite or a cozy date. The staff here are wonderful!

Cute bar with really great staff. They kept asking if it tasted good or if we wanted more water. Even when my daughter ordered nachos that werent vegetarian, they exchanged them because it wasnt clear in the description. I was happy about her selection.

Great lunch option - food prices aren t too bad (given what s in the area and the location) and I ve always had great service here. The only complaint I d have is related to portions - I feel like they ve shrunk slightly in the last little while. Highly recommend you check it out anyway!

Menu shows 3 Tacos but you only get one. Called Hungry Guys cause you leave hungry. Very misleading. Would never go back.

I wanted to give a 5-star but when I got home I saw The avocado taco salad, it was literally missing AVOCADO.. I asked for no meat and no cheddar and to make to vegetarian. I was disappointed by the fact that it was missing avocado and tortilla chips. I feel like I paid $14+ tax for lettuce, corns and onions.

For a Saturday afternoon the music was not great, the Latin dish was not as Latin at all, it had weird ingredients like BBQ sauce in my tacos, service was good though.

I wish I could have taken a picture of the vegetarian tacos I ordered cause not only did I go in and order once, I came back the next night to order them again! I know people may say $7 a taco is a lot but for real, IT WAS WORTH IT. I stumbled across this place by chance just walking a couple blocks from my hotel and I was immediately in love. Even though I wasn t able to get a picture of my rapidly consumed food. I managed to get a photo of the inside of the facility. I was absolutely amazed by the lights and the fact all their ceiling plants are real! SO amazed in fact, that I came home and recreated the restaurant vibe in my hallway *also with real plants!* (See photo)

Got nachos, ceviche, and sangria. Nachos were served to us cold and the bottom chips were soggy. The cheese had a plastic-y flavour. We asked for it to get re-heated and it was still bad. The sangria was good though and so was the atmosphere

It was lovely, Azumi and Helena were amazing hosts. I love their Ceviche and Fish Tacos but wish they added French fries to their menu. It would be next level experience.

It s the second time that I go there, Maria is such a beautiful and nice waitress! Friendly staff in general, I tried the nachos, really good cream and avocado, but the beef was a little cold after all, good bar to have fun! <3

Everything here is just right. The food is outstanding especially the tacos and the drinks taste of quality. I have been coming here for many years and have always experienced outstanding service.

Hungry guys is always our first stop on a night out- the weekend shot specials are a bargain and the staff are all so incredibly kind. If youre planning for a night on the town definitely make sure this is one of your stops!! Vegetarian options: One of our friends had a fully vegan taco with only minor alterations to the dish!

So glad we decided to stop by this place while in Vancouver for the weekend. The food was awesome, the chairs were comfy and our server was great! This was our second time coming to Hungry Guys and, it does not disappoint! Amazing food, probably one of the best burgers we had ever had ! Our first visit here we had the tacos and a rice bowl, absolutely amazing !! Great drinks and the best service from friendly staff that truly care. Highly reccomend, I can not rave them enough! We will always come here when we visit from the Island!!!!

WOW. We stumble upon this eatery when visiting Hornby st for a concert night. Unreal food. Probably the best burger I had in 10 years. Homemade everything, even down to the sauces. Highly recommend. Great happy hour as well :)

I ordered takeout. When I walked in the atmosphere seemed good. Staff were polite. Food was really good. Would recommend the bacon cheese burger and adding avocado. Top it off with a poutine and boom! Solid meal.

They unfortunately dont do burritos any more. I went recently and had 3 chicken tacos as a sub. for my usual burrito here. Cost ~ $27 with tip and am hungry after 20 minutes. Tacos were just ok.
