Maxine's Cafe & Bar in Vancouver

I recently visited Maxines Cafe & Bar, and it was an incredible experience! The Christmas decorations were absolutely stunning, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that made the visit even more special. Our server, Nacha, was the best ever! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Maxines for anyone looking for great food and a lovely ambiance during the holiday season!

Great service and great food, plus the patio is dog friendly. We were four, shared appetizers and some deserts, plus a good choice of wine. Egg Parm and Chicken were tasty.

Good and atmosphere is perfect and that s why I have them 4 star but the problem is there is no WiFi here, and also the staff is not super friendly but they are polite.

The chill vibe of this updated French bistro is phenomenal. The staff are on point, and know how to take care of customers. The kitchen knows exactly what they re doing, and if you need to check it out, if it s clean, just peek in from the sidewalk! My brunch mate had a nice glass of red with the Dutch Baby; I had a macchiato and the omelette with Boursin cheese and frites. The ketchup and mayonnaise for the fries, and the hot sauce for the omelette were the perfect condiments. We were at the corner of the bar, and Claire took great care of us. It was a perfect choice to celebrate our birthdays in style. I will return to taste some of the other menu choices. It seems brunch on weekends can be extremely busy with long waits at peak times. Update: May 5, 2023 Another perfect brunch- I had the omelette, my buddy had the Benny. Their Hollandaise is incredibly layered with an herb vinegar. Awesome oat milk flat white. Service was flawless on the heated patio, and they are now taking reservations before 17:00. Truly wonderful value for the quality. A neighbourhood gem! Dec 12: Birthday lunch update- Another incredible meal from the welcome to the food and service. I had the falafel bowl with quinoa and it was delightful. Just the right hint of spice. My friends split the smoked salmon benedict with added avocado. Nicole took great care of us, but each staff member was lovely. Lauren from MAN adds to the friendly management team. If you ve never tried the frozen slushiest with Baileys and Whiskey, it s a boozy kiss! Vegetarian options: Lots of choices, let the staff know your needs!!

We tried maxines on a sunday morning. The place is cute. The food was really tasty. The waitress was really nice. I recommand 100% the place for a brunch.

The food and service was fantastic. We didnt have reservations on a weekday. They were able to accommodate us. Sat at the bar but later moved us to a table once it opened. Everything was great. We especially enjoyed the foie gras and the beets. That is a must.

Friendly staff, great food. Every dish we had was excellent.

Burger was a bit heavy on the sauce but service was good.

Got the chicken parm pasta the portions were huge and it was so delicious! Albani was the sweetest waitress and helped us with our final choice for our meals and can I say her recommendation was a 10/10.

The experience was fine, but far from exceptional. The service was average and lacked attention to detail. Despite notifying the staff of a nut allergy, a nut-fried rice dish was served without any clarification we had to inquire ourselves about its ingredients. We also tried the rib-eye steak, which didn t justify its price point. The radicchio salad was overwhelmingly bitter and practically inedible. The eggplant Parmesan was underwhelming and lacked flavor. Overall, the meal was disappointing, and I don t see myself returning.

Service from the waitress was not good

No idea how these guys are turning a profit. Felt like I was eating at a fine dining establishment, but was priced like a normal brunch place. I highly, HIGHLY recommend the avocado dish.

It s not easy to find a place with good food in Canada, but this spot is one of my favorites. I absolutely love it here the dishes are always delicious!

Very friendly and welcoming staff

Went as part of Visa infinite dining series. Beautiful space, service was impeccable, food was delicious. A stand out was the lobster gnocchi that dish will make me want to go back.

When I went there with my husband we sit outside patio, we already ordered our drinks and after I asked to change our sit to inside if it s possible and manager told me I have to wait outside if we wanna change our sit. I have never heard anything like that before! They have served me a burnt avocado toast and when I told to the manager lady, she even didn t offer me to change my plate. Very poor customer service!

Had a great dining experience and everything was delicious! I particularly enjoyed the smoked salmon rosti and mini donuts. Will definitely be coming back to try other dishes!

Great food, beautiful atmosphere

Got Eggplant parm for appetizer on server s suggestion, and it did not disappoint. Crispy edges with fresh tomato sauce. 5/5 Risotto for main course felt lemony to me somehow but sunchokes were soft and delicious. 4/5 Crème brûlée had too hard of the sugary top. Cream was interesting with hint of earl grey. 3/5 Great ambience with right level of lighting. Excellent service.

I had a very pleasant dinner here. I had the cappellacci pasta, shared an eggplant parm and an earl grey crème brûlée. The server offered a very smooth service with nice recommendations!

A couple of friends and I ran into this café shortly before heading to FlyOver Canada. Since we were in such a rush, the staff was really friendly and prepared everything we ordered quickly. The burger I had was one of the best-tasting Ive ever had. It was a really cool place that felt very calm. Next time, I d love to sit down for a little longer than just 15 minutes.

While I liked the atmosphere, the food was terrible I had half roasted game hen which was the saltiest meal I have ever had in my life In terms of service, it was jaw dropping but not in a good way I asked the blonde lady who brought our food about the location of the restroom, she looked into my eyes and said she is busy and left!!

Ideal experience from the moment we stepped inside. Attractive dining room and welcoming hostess. We were offered our choice of several tables for two, and appreciated the option to select a table in a quieter area. Our server tended to us perfectly, she demonstrated timeliness, grace, care, and attention to detail during our entire visit without being overbearing. She detailed gluten free possibilities on the menu, including describing dish modifications. Very impressive knowledge of the menu. We ll gladly be back during our next trip to Vancouver. Vegetarian options: Dedicated vegetarian section on the menu Dietary restrictions: Staff know the dishes on the menu impressively well and can describe suitable choices and/or modifications. Parking: Downtown situation, may need to pay and/or walk. Wheelchair accessibility: Most of the restaurant is stair free, including access to the front door and washrooms. Didn t notice an automatic door but staff can clearly see the entryway through the glass.

Me and my husband were talking about how every brunch place we ve been to in Vancouver was disappointing. Until we tried Maxine s! We went on a Saturday at 11am and got a table in under 10 minutes. The hostesses and server were so lovely (a rarity in this city it seems), food came out hot and delicious, and the Parisian decor is so cozy. Restaraunt was lively but not too loud and tables aren t too close together. Amazing experience all around, we ll be back to try more menu items!!

The best place for brunch! Havent tried the dinner but Ill next time!

Our server was extremely impatient. She was rushing us the whole time and trying to clean up our plates for over 5 times within 30mins. We were still trying to finish our food. When I responded her: No we are still working on it. She said to us: OKAY, RELAX . Overall the food is great, but we don t feel comfortable revisiting as we felt very rushed and disrespected. Definitely not recommending to our friends and family either.

I ordered the French toast and hot chocolate, and both were fantastic! The French toast had the perfect combination of smoothness and crunch. The waiter was super friendly, and when I asked for maple syrup and jam, they were very welcoming and accommodating. Great experience overall!

I had seen several rave reviews of this atmospheric retro-bistro and its cuisine. Located at top of the slope leading down to the Burrard Bridge, Maxines is shaded behind the privacy of box hedges and topiaries. You definitely step into a distinctly friendly yet sophisticated ambience. The atmospheric indirect lighting, dark wood paneling, brass fixtures + marble surfaces, towering centre bar, coffered ceilings and distinct interior and exterior spaces (including covered patio and enclosed terrace space) definitely set the tone for a memorable culinary experience. The menu offers many delicious meal offerings throughout the day (breakfast to dinner / too many to mention!), including a mid to late-afternoon Happy Hour. However, dinner was my total focus, namely the 8oz Flatiron Steak with accompaniments (plus side Caesar salad). The beef was grilled to rare tender and juicy perfection, as requested, and served with a richly seasoned purée de pommes de terres and seasonal vegetables. Each tender cut and mouthful were absolutely delicious. Dessert was a richly decadent banana bread pudding à la mode topped with nuts + chocolate sauce, along with black tea, cream + sugar. The food was all top-notch, and the restaurant was the right balance of casual, yet polite dining in a friendly atmosphere. The host, and wait staff were welcoming and attentive, answering questions about the restaurant and the featured cocktails, entrées and desserts. Maxines really exceeded my expectations and I cant wait to return to discover more savory experiences/options from their delectable menu offerings!

Enjoyed the most amazing brunch here - started with a rosé Prosecco and some great suggestions from our server. Settled on the Dutch Baby and the Eggs Cocotte which were delicious. Service was a highlight too.

I had our wedding reception at Maxines this past weekend and it went perfectly! Emilie the manager ensured we had the most perfect night. We had a group of 34 people on the side patio and were served a 3 course meal. Our guests loved the food and raved about the service! They were so organized and catered to our every need. I highly recommend using Maxines for a private event or even just going for dinner. The food and drinks were excellent!

Nicole was AMAZING! She made the experience so special and unique. The smoked salmon rosti was superb. I am still thinking about it... 10/10 experience, would definitely recommend you go to Maxines for some delicious food, coffee, and stellar service. The patio is nicely heated and the outside of the restaurant is beautifully surrounded by various potted plants to create a nice ambiance. I know Ill be going back when I come to Vancouver next!

Its just too overpriced for what it is, which are uninspired burgers and fries and salad. Youll end up paying 20$ each just to share the cheapest bottle of wine with friends which would cost a third in a liquor store. Service is very Vancouver, polite not really kind but you do get to enjoy a nice patio in the shade allowing pets. It might be better than Earls or Cactus but not really worth it.

Everything was outstanding. I had the sablefish daily feature which was perfectly prepared and tasty. Sat on the patio, which was nice but obviously very loud with traffic and sirens (hence the one star deduction). Service was friendly, professional and attentive. Top notch experience! Dietary restrictions: I have severe but and shellfish allergies which were taken seriously and looked after. Wheelchair accessibility: Very accommodating. Did not go to the washroom however, so no feedback there.

This is literally the best breakfast place Ive ever visited. We were in Vancouver for a couple of days and the concierge recommended Maxines - it was amazing. The Avocado Toast was 10/10 and the French toast was even better. Jennifer provided exceptional, service and Tai even came by to introduce herself. It was fantastic, highly recommend it,

Perfect dining experience! We were served the best falafel and fried chicken I ve ever had. I m also from the Southern USA so that is saying something! The craft cocktails were excellent as well. The service alone would have lead me to give them 5 stars alone. My glass and plate were never left empty on the table without someone taking it and offering me something else. I couldn t have had a better dining experience!

Maxine s menu is incredible. Even the most blasé millennial brunch item (ahem, avo toast that we shouldn t have ordered) is elevated with the unexpected: a deep-fried avocado fritter. You can expect the same for every item. Note: please try the boozy coffee slushy. It s small, will set you back $13, but has suuuuch a well balanced flavour of not-too-sweet and pleasantly bitter.

I really like the retro-ambience of the restaurant, so I always sit there during lunch time on weekdays. It must be hard to get a table on weekends. Every dish is very good, and I highly recommend the SMOKED BRISKET CROQUE MADAME. The cheese wrapped in bread is very soft and sweet, and the rich cheese and bread blend together.

We came in for brunch this past August, and were blown away by the food, coffee, and atmosphere. It was a treat to be able to go to a restaurant with French breakfast cuisine and we loved the style and open, airy setting of the restaurant interior. We were offered a table very quickly, in a great spot, and the service was lovely. We cant wait to try this place again next time were in Vancouver.

Good breakfast meny. Excellent Quality. A bit pricey

I visited last week and had a wonderful experience, which I shared with all my friends. However, I returned today with two friends and had a disappointing experience. As expected, the restaurant was busy, and we waited an hour to be seated. While I anticipated the crowd, I also expected the same high-quality service as before. Unfortunately, it took 15 minutes just to get water, and we had to flag down a random waitress to have our order taken. While our server was attentive and clearly doing his best, he seemed overwhelmed by the volume of tables. One of my friends received an undercooked meal the outside was cooked, but the inside was still raw, likely due to the kitchen rushing orders. She only took one bite and didn t eat the rest. Despite declining a to-go box, no one asked if there was an issue with the food. My Banana French Toast was also burnt. As someone with restaurant experience, I would strongly recommend that management schedule more staff during peak times. Making guests wait an hour only to have a subpar experience is disheartening and easily preventable.

Myself and my partner came here as a walk-in, we have never been here before. We queued up to put our name on the list and when we finally got to the top of the queue, the host told us he had a table for us inside. He was quite friendly at this point. He were brought to our table and it was a floating shelf style table with us seated side by side. It was stuck directly in front of the window and as it was a sunny day, it was like being in a greenhouse. We were boiling. My partner asked someone if we could move seats as there were a few available two tops. He was told no. He then went out to the host and asked if we could move to another seat when someone is finished, even a bar seat is fine, as we re sweating. The host completely changed his attitude and snapped at my partner and would not even let him finish his sentence, and told him we don t change seats . Shocked at the attitude received, we packed up and left. We went to Yolks nearby, which had a wider selection of food, was cheaper and the employees were a lot nicer. We re not expecting a restaurant to change policies just for us, but the attitude received by the host was shocking. Very poor experience.

Greasy and bland, I don t understand why people line up to eat here. The greasy hash brown pucks are turning my stomach just thinking about them. I love breakfast sandwiches and I didn t even bother to finish this one. The thick cut bacon is awful. How do you ruin bacon???

Brunch here is quite tasty. We tried fried chick biscuit and banana French toast. Parking is a problem.

Its as good as it sounds. Definitely one of our best experiences in Vancouver: great service, tidy space and delicious brunch... what more could you ask for? Their team manages to make you feel comfortable and welcome at all times. Miss Maria leads with a great example of customer service. Congratulations and thanks to all!

We had a terrific Sunday brunch before heading over to Pacific to catch the Pride Parade. Yasmin, our server, was so warm and friendly, very attentive! Avocado breakfast plate was terrific and yummy and so was the Truffle omelet. Iced mocha hit the spot for a warm and beautiful afternoon. Maria, a manager, stopped by our table to greet us and chat. All great and sitting outaide and people watching made our experience at Maxines even more special. Thanks, again, Yasmin for your great convo and hospitality!!!!

I never leave bad reviews so this was just overall a REALLY bad experience. Walking in the atmosphere seemed nice with good aesthetics and choice of seating. But from the moment we got seated till the time we checked out, we received absolutely ZERO customer service. The only person that talked to us and helped us out wasn t even waiting our table. I m pretty sure he was the manager, wearing a blue shirt. He s the only person that offered good customer service. The lady that was our server (white lady with black hair), was really rude and ignored us every time we tried to ask for something. We were in the front right corner. I said thank you when we got out food and water refilled and she just ignored us and rolled her eyes. To see if she heard me I purposely said thank you one last time as she brought our dishes back to the kitchen and she ignored us a fourth time. The food itself was good portion sizes and good value. The oysters were good. The biscuit and waffles was pretty mediocre, lacked flavor so you have to use hot sauce with it. Customer service was a zero. Waiting times for food and to get help when we had a question or needed something took forever. Over 30 minutes to get our food. Would never go back and would not recommend. There s many other brunch places to go to in Vancouver that offer better customer service and have better food. I recommend Jam Cafe and Palate Kitchen. Don t go here if you value a place that has both good customer service and food.

Food was amazing, every dish was unique and delicious. Great brunch spot. Only complaint was the mango ice tea I ordered, it tasted like water, no flavour at all.

A Hidden Gem with Restaurant-Level Quality Though labeled as a café, I would consider this place more of a good quality restaurant. We started with the oysters, which were on the smaller side but packed with flavor. The standout dish for me was the Stone Fruit Salad an impressive balance of flavors that I highly recommend trying. Elliot, the manager, mentioned that they make the cheese for the salad in-house, and he was a pleasure to chat with. For the main course, I ordered Moules Frites and was pleasantly surprised when they served the mussels with fries. Our server, Anna, offered ketchup right away, but the sauce was so delicious that I didn t need it. My companion had the Albacore Tuna, which was equally tasty. Special thanks to Anna for her excellent service it really added to the overall experience. She was amazing!

Good place overall. But $18 for a tostada with little on it? Cmon guys. Homer Street cafe never would have done this. Our group was mainly Mexican / south american.

Excellent experience. Impulsively went in during happy hour with no foreknowledge of the place. Cocktails, food, service, and decor all great. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Nice presentation of drinks and plates. Great flavors. Lush patio. Will return!

I went to Maxine s for brunch . Had banana foster French toast . It was amazing , caramel sauce was to die for . For drinks I had was the shaft . One of the better slushy drinks I had . Hard to believe it s made from a machine . I have the ice maple float , espresso and ice cream , perfect combo . The service was amazing as well . I m will definitely go back

Had one of the best breakfasts here. The patio is dog friendly and they have outdoor heaters for when it gets a little cold to sit out. They were also able to serve freshly made orange juice upon request and the food was absolutely delicious.

Wonderful place to have brunch and family time! Definitely fine food! Atmosphere is friendly as well. People there are nice. Good place to take pictures. If anything that is not adding up, the parking and the traffic! Difficult to find a parking as it is in DT , and there are a few construction sites. Worth the trip overall!

I went with a group of my friends to celebrate some of their graduations and had an incredible experience. Lily, our server, was an absolute sweetheart and provided exceptional service and recommendations to us. I got the dutch baby, which was mouth wateringly delicious, and had bites of everyone s dishes. The drink menu was plentiful and it was difficult to reach a decision, but loved what I got. I don t have a bad word to say about any of it! The interior is adorable, and the perfect aesthetic for a celebratory brunch!

We arrived around 12:15 on Sunday, and there were already some people waiting. It took the three of us about 45 minutes to be seated, and it seemed that a table for 2 would become available faster. We ordered the Smoked salmon rosti, Bananas Foster French toast, and Eggs cocotte. The Smoked salmon rosti was basically salmon eggs Benedict with rosti (a larger hash brown). The Eggs cocotte was almost the same as Shakshouka but with fewer spices. Nothing really stood out for both of them. I expected more from the French toast, as Im a big lover of French toast, but I guess I ate it last, and it was already getting colder; the insides of the brioche had already started to dry out. I liked the salted rum caramel sauce, though. The portion would be great for someone who doens t eat a lot, which was not enough for me. I really liked the atmosphere, but considering the price and popularity of the place, it was quite disappointing. And the place was so packed that we had to speak a bit loudly to be heard.

Never been for breakfast or lunch. Rent must be expensive. Overpriced drinks. Food was ok. $22 for a burger. Over salted fried. Limited menu and not gluten friendly. Limited vegetarian choices Music is a bit loud for a decent conversation without raising your voice such that other tables can hear. Other than this, its an ok place but it wouldnt be my first restaurant choice for dinner.

I live in the neighbourhood and it is definitely one of my favourite spot. Great atmosphere and the staff is fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. Personally, I ve there many times with my baby and they always made us feel welcomed. The staff never made me feel like they were annoyed at all. LOVE THAT. Nichole is always a pleasure to have as a server!

Delicious brunch. Bacon was savoury and sweet, definitely recommended it. Service could be more attentive as I had to get out of my seat and flag staff down a few times. Location isnt too busy but finding parking in that area can be hard.

WOW!!! You absolutely have to visit Maxine s! We kicked off our trip with breakfast here, on a glowing recommendation from the Pacific Rim Hotel, and it was the best decision we made. Nicole greeted us and took exceptional care of us her suggestions were perfect and we cant thank her enough. In fact, we loved it so much that we ended our trip there too, something weve never done in all our years of traveling. The staff at Maxine s are courteous, professional, warm, and truly dedicated to making your experience special. The food is unforgettable, but it was the outstanding service that really made it perfect. As someone with a gluten allergy, I was incredibly impressed by their meticulous attention to detail. We re already looking forward to returning in December. Thank you, Nicole, for making our first trip to Canada so memorable!

Ive been twice recently. Great vibes and delicious food and coffee. The food did take a while to come out both times, but no wonder because they are so busy. The Dutch Baby was delicious, my first time trying this dish! I also enjoyed the Eggs Benedict I got the other time. Ill definitely be back.

I rarely write a review but this experience was so great that I thought I d take the time to write one. We attended the first ever Portuguese wine pairing event at Maxine s. They did not disappoint. We were seated in the private room with about 20 people. It was a set menu with 5 courses and wine pairing with each course. The food perfectly complimented the wine. The chef came to the table to describe each course in detail. Chris from Seacove Wines gave interesting details to describe each wine pairing. We appreciated him educating us with his excellent knowledge of wines. If you get the opportunity to attend one of their events, we highly recommended it. We will definitely be back! 10/10

Outstanding brunch spot. The atmosphere was great, we loved the decor inside as well as the heated patio that allowed dogs. The service was excellent and there were so many good food options. I got the Dutch baby and my friend got the croque madame both were delicious. Can t wait to go back and try something else. Highly recommend

We were thrilled to stumble upon this gem. Our order included the smoked salmon rosti, smoked brisket croque madam, and baked banana bread for dessert. The salmon rosti and dessert were exquisite, earning a solid 10 out of 10. However, the croque madam, while tasty, would have been even more impressive with homemade brisket, hence the rating of 7 out of 10. The service was notably friendly and attentive, with our food and drinks arriving promptly after ordering. I look forward to returning to explore more of their enticing menu options.

Just had a lovely brunch, welcomed warmly by Maria the manager, and served expertly by Lili - all the staff were fantastic and the dining room was immaculate. The food was superb and I could easily expect to have been charged more for the care and attention. Certainly up there with the very best Vancouver can offer. Fantastic effort guys, you should be proud.

Went for dinner on a Thursday night at 7ish. Made a reservation, which I dont think was actually necessary, as there were plenty of tables available. We sat inside, received excellent service, and the entire selection of food was great. We tried the salad, Brisket Mac n Cheese, Risotto, and Meatball -- all were excellent.

New favourite cafe in Vancouver. I brought my mom here for Mothers Day and she described it as the perfect day. Fair pricing and we had excellent service. Feels like Europe.

Overall great place to go for brunch! Sometimes they have their music too loud so it s hit and miss for a business lunch or if you are trying to catch up with a friend. The service has always been really good, I ve been more than a handful of times and I have never had a bad experience service wise. Some of their menu items are amazing and others are just good.

Cant say enough good things about Maxines! The space is adorable and the staff was so nice. It was our anniversary and they surprised us with complimentary bubbly which was such a sweet gesture that it really set the tone for a great dinner. The bartender was fantastic at making sure the food we ordered was free of our allergies and provided excellent service over the course of our stay. We were visiting from Toronto, so we asked for recommendations and, once again, the bartender didnt disappoint. Thank you for a great evening!

Went to get brunch and our service was mediocre. Our experience with our server Yasmine since the moment she greeted us was just off. She barely put effort into the service. She didn t check in on us and she was too lazy to walk over to our table and instead served us over the rail which just made the whole encounter awkward and off putting. Also, I waited 10 minutes for my drink that was just waiting on the bar. We had better service from the hostess and food runner than with her. However the food was really good. Today was just disappointing because we had such good service before.

Just one word: AMAZING! One of the few places that is pet friendly and delivers amazing service. Our server Lili was just so caring for us and our pet. We will definitely go back. Food

Always a great time here. I bring my colleagues for HH every now and then. They are always accommodating for my baby and the stroller which I appreciate is not always easy. Really nice staff, always friendly. Great selection of items on their menu both food and for drinks. Will always keep coming back.

Avocado toast is exceptional. Flat white was on point. Sat at the bar and enjoyed extremely friendly staff, good conversations and recommendations. Really nice breakfast/brunch spot. I will come back for sure.

Best brunch!!! We had the breakfast sandwiches and these are on a whole new level. The fresh squeezed orange juice was so delicious I had to have two. Service was great, Nicole took wonderful care of us.

Maxines a pretty neat place with great atmosphere, lots of light and an attractive cocktail selection ! The warm drink selection is good, I had their hot chocolate (homemade ganache). I however couldnt really find anything in the food menu that I really thought interesting, and it felt rather expensive. I settled for the oeufs cocotte, which were alright. Food is the most important thing to me, and I think there are several more satisfying -and- cheaper options within 10 mins walking distance. However if youre coming with a group and are mostly looking for a good time, drinks and lots of light: youll have a great time ! Come after 1 pm for an easier time to find a table for brunch.

There is a description of Maxine s as honouring the European approach to create a neighbourhood restaurant and we concur in this fact..we arrived for dinner and felt a positive vibe immediately..the staff were welcoming and very friendly, the food was delicious and I personally appreciated the fries as one of the photos demonstrates we will be back to this delightful restaurant here once again for a special treat of Hamburger and fries so welcoming and friendly atmosphere and top notch food..the Maxine Hamburger was brilliant in display and quality taste..

Lovely brunch spot just off Davie and Burrard. Lots of great options and a good variety of food and drinks. The decor and style is top notch. Great spot for a special occasion or just for fun. Reasonable prices for the quality, no one left hungry. The staff were great. I wish they had slightly more reservation times/slots. Tried the Dutch baby from a friend and it was delicious. The salmon rosti I had was also very good. I hope to try this place again soon.

LOVE this place. Great food. Great Ambiance. Always come here for special occasions. This time, my husbands birthday. Fantastic meals for all of us. Alas, I must admit I was thoroughly disappointed with absolutely no recognition of his birthday. Not a free mimosa, not a free cookie with coffee or a dessert. Not a mention. I felt sad about that - are restaurants all too busy with life to make someones birthday great??? Sad Truly sad. And yes, they knew it was his birthday. Disappointed.
