1488 W 11th Ave, Vancouver, BC V6H 1L1, Canada
Friendly 40 seat restaurant with a covered patio located in beautiful S. Granville community - serving authentic Lebanese food for lunch and dinner.
I’ve had Lebanese food in Lebanon and Mazahr still ranks at the top of my list. The food here is the best and would be enough for a top ranking but they also go out of their way to provide good service and atmosphere. When you enter Mazahr everyone seems to be having a great time. Definitely recommend!
I had an amazing experience at this Lebanese restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that transported me straight to Lebanon. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. If you’re looking for genuine Lebanese cuisine, I highly recommend this place—you won’t be disappointed!
Best Lebanese restaurant in town! Delicious food, great services and a traditional decoration that takes you to the heart of Lebanon. The food is absolutely incredible. The hot mezza platter is amazing. Mutabbal, hummus, shanklish, and labneh are all amazing. The flavors are authentic and well-balanced. The portions are generous, and the service is top-notch.
SMALL PORTION, The quality of the food is good, but the portion sizes are smaller than expected, and the sides that come with the dishes are limited, not matching the photos in the menu. Considering the portion sizes and average service, a more realistic Google rating would be closer to a 4, not 4.8.
The place deserves way more than 5 stars. The food is phenomenal, the atmosphere is superb and the service is great. The staff are friendly and attentive. We had a great time munching on various vegetarian options. The falafel, hummus, moutabal, and lentil soup are sooo yummyy. And the Arak (Middle Eastern liquor) is excellent. It is a highly recommended place for authentic Lebanese foods 😋 😊
Amazing food, wonderful service, and special attention from the owner “Mo” who came to say hello and to chat with us, and even found an email from my wife with a discount code from - get this - two years ago - and honoured it! Amazing. The red pepper side dish “Muhammara” was sooo delish I scooped it onto everything else on my plate - on the kefti, on the pita, on the cabbage salad, in the lentil soup, spread on the pita and so on. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Worth the long trip out to this place!
Large portions and dishes seem to be created so that they expect you to share it “family-style.” Tasty fresh ingredients. Wonderful flavours. Plated very nicely. Service was top-notch. I can see why this place is rated so high on reviews!
I recently had the pleasure of eating at Mazahr, and overall, it was a great experience. The food was good, we tried the cold and hot sample platters and they were rich in flavour + a salad. I did find the prices to be on the higher side, but it's likely reflective of the area, so it didn't come as a complete surprise. One of the highlights of my visit was the peaceful atmosphere. Visiting around noon, I appreciated that the restaurant wasn't busy, allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable meal without the usual crowd. I wish they had rice as an option for a side as well, that would make our meal even better. They don't sell sodas as well. They sell lemonades, but I didn't like it very much. In summary, Mazahr offers great food in a calm setting. It's certainly worth a visit.
Staff was rude in accommodating our party - we had groups that wanted to be seated together but were not allowed despite having empty seats. We were given appetizers for an hour before the mains were served and even then, the portion was not worth the price of $84 for the grilled meat platter (each person has a few pieces of grilled meat when sharing across 4 people). To be fair to them, the taste of the food was not bad but it cannot compensate for terrible service. We paid close to $70 each for what amounts to an unsatisfactory meal. Would not recommend.
I ordered takeout and found bite marks on two naans in the paper bag. It honestly looks like they re recycling unfinished naans, which is completely unacceptable. The food tasted ok, but I cant trust the hygiene practices here.
This is by far the best Lebanese restaurant in Vancouver. It is very authentic and rivals some of the best food you will find in restaurants in Lebanon. Very friendly service too.
Really sauvory food! The service was fantastic also
One word- FANTASTIC!
Delicious authentic halal Lebanese food. Definitely would visit again. Everything from the service to the food was fantastic. Parking: Street parking in front Kid-friendliness: High chairs provided
Super delicious
Authentic, warm atmosphere, delicious, friendly service.
We decided to try our neighbors Lebanese restaurant last night for dinner and a quick meeting, and we couldn t have been happier with our choice. The food was fantastic everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The service was top-notch, and we loved how welcoming and family-friendly the atmosphere felt. It truly made for a special evening. We ll definitely be coming back more often, and we ll be recommending it to all of our clients. A hidden gem we re glad to have right next door!
MUST VISIT!!!! Amazing food, good ambiance plus, also Doga is an amazing hostess. She was patient, smiling and very polite with orders and conversions. In total its a 9/10 restaurant, will definitely visit again.
I don t get the popularity of this place. Food was mediocre. Pita bread tasted like it supermarket s, halloumi lacked the usual flavor and baklava was disgusting. Olive oil in Labneh tasted great though. Great service though.
Probably the best Lebanese in Vancouver! Full of flavor and tasty dishes. They have a lunch special thats a really good offer. My favorites are the Fatte and the Chicken Tawook - both exceptional.
Best food, best service. Must try! I enjoyed my experience Food
Mazahr is truly a hidden gem in South Granville. The food is absolutely exceptional its clear that every ingredient is thoughtfully selected, and every bite is a testament to the care and authenticity behind the menu. I just wish Id discovered this place sooner!
The service was slow and haphazard and we were quite cold by the window, but the FOOD! Holy moly amazing. The lamb especially.
Amazing place and delicious food. Our server Mohamed was super attentive and helpful. His knowledge about food is great and he was incredibly attentive to our conversation and made us feel welcomed. Will be definitely be back
Been here a few times and I used to love the food here, but it doesn t feel as great as before, the service was bad
The owner is truly one of a kind so humble and welcoming. The service and food are absolutely top-notch. Highly recommend!
Stellar food and very authentic! Very warm atmosphere and service, highly recommended!!
Delicious Lebanese food! Love the kibbeh. Beef shawarma was pretty good too. Fairly pricey.
Perfect place for snacks and drinks before or after a show at The Stanley. Tons of vegan and vegetarian options. On street parking should be easy. Not a fancy dining room but great food and friendly service
I enjoyed a fabulous meal with friends at Mazahr! The shared plates were incredible and the service was so attentive and kind. We also shared a few laughs with the service staff and they ensured we were well looked after all evening. The food was so tasty and ample for the price we paid. I highly recommend Mazahr for a wonderful evening out!
Amazing authentic food and great service!
Very delicious Lebanese restaurant, I will recommend it to my friends
Not my first choice for this type of cuisine, but overall we had a good experience and tried some good food.
Everything was great about this restaurant. Food was awesome. Took a little long to arrive but overall was okay. Only issue was that the bathroom was not functioning during my visit and there was no alternative option. Perhaps it should have been disclosed before seating.
Best Lebanese food in Vancouver
Dont know why this place is highly rated. Food is okay. Service is subpar. Very slow in taking the order to checking on our table to giving us our bill. Would not return because the experience was meh. There are better places than this.
Best Lebanese kitchen in Vancouver
Absolutely outstanding Lebanese food. Lunch platters are incredible. Possibly the best baklava I ve ever eaten. Friendly service and reasonable prices too. Can t say enough good things about this place - be sure to check it out if you re in the neighborhood.
My third time back at Mazahr and the experience was the same as the first two - excellent! Food was amazing and the staff are welcoming and attentive. A favourite local spot! Highly recommend. Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant and patio are wheelchair accessible,
Amazing Foods and good service
Service was meh but food our 2nd (and 1st) time here was amazing. Dips (labneh, hummus and eggplant) were all sooooooo good. Kibeh and prawns absolutely amazing. Salad, super sized and delicious! Eat here! Way better than Michelin guide Middle Eastern place on 4th Ave. Waaaayyyyy better
Got a really bad feeling by taking to manager because he made us wait in the waiting list for 30 minutes even though there were more then 5 tables available and when I asked what is the reason he answered very harshly and it was not polite the way he responded which made me and my friend leave there. I don t know if it is their marketing strategy or just an ego to say how busy we are but it doesn t make sense to make people wait when you have tables available. And that made us to decide to never go back there Hope they get the lesson of being honest and not pretending
Very delicious food and attentive service. The baba ghannouj was like no other! The patio is cute and off the main road which is very rare in this city. Will definitely come back!
The best Hummus I have ever tasted. And the Lamb dish was made to perfection with so much flavour. Very friendly services and the manager takes time to visit each table. I will definitely be back. It was a wonderful experience.
Soooo good Dont miss out on the spiced coffee and the baklava.
It is good comforting food and it is nutrition based balanced healthy option to go for Also good for good time with friends. Food
The server was excellent, very attentive to details. As for the food, we shared a few dishes, and the falafel was outstanding. However, I believe they should consider making their own pita bread. Fresh bread would elevate the whole experience. The atmosphere was okay, nothing remarkable, but the quality of the food and service made up for it.
Absolutely delicious! Especially the cauliflower, beef shawarma, and the rice pudding. Appreciated the interesting non-alc drinks and teas on offer too. Very warm and helpful service! Would definitely recommend and hope to return to try some of their other dishes... I regret not getting some baklava!
The cauliflower bites are a must try! One of the best meals I have had in awhile.
Enjoyed the restaurants ambience and Delicious foods, highly recommended to try Kafta especially the dip coming with it is superb!!! Meals are slightly expensive vs portion
Awsome Lebanese dishes.
Some of the best middle eastern food Ive had. The Hot Mezze Sampler is especially good.
Surprised by how excellent this place is! 10/10 food. We had the hot mezza sampler and the lahm mishwi and both were incredibly delicious, hot and crispy and flavourful and just everything we wanted. Friendly service and cute patio, lovely in the summer. Will come back for sure. Vegetarian options: Huge array of vegetarian options, including amazing falafel. You ll have tons of choice.
Excellent Lebanese cuisine, all delicious!
We had a reservation, arrived there and there was a sign to wait here to be seated. We waited lots of staff came out and went in and no one even asked why we were there or even said hi!! At the end, I asked them if they wanted to pay attention to the customer or not e. Almost the same thing happened for ordering. Never will be back
Delicious hummus, shish tawouk, falafel and a ton of meze
TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE! I tried to go with my family today and the restaurant was empty. They told me that I could only get a table if I ordered the set menu that was $55/person. I asked them why and they said that alternatively, I could get a table if I leave 18% gratuity. I can t believe this is how they treat costumers. Disgusting.
I just visited this restaurant and requested a table for 8 on the patio as my mini yorkies were with me. Initially, the waitress told us that they don t usually accept groups larger than 6. After talking with other workers, they gave us two options: either everyone had to pay for a $55 menu, or we had to leaving 18% tip. Not the experience we were hoping for. Shame on their service.
I am lebanese and I visited this restaurant to expose my friends to lebanese food. Mazahr did not disappoint as I experienced the best Lebanese food here in Vancouver! I am glad I came to this place and I will for sure eat there many times again to remind myself of food back home. The service was absolutely great! and the flavours out of this world!! Highly recommend it, but make sure to book in advance as they fill up quick and you might have to wait for a table.
The best Lebanese restaurant in Vancouver. Very tasty authentic Lebanese food and the service is very great.
I live around the corner and Mazahr is a staple in my experience living here! It is an ideal spot to go after a long day of work or you just dont feel like cooking and eat some delicious food and drinking wine on the patio. Staff are friendly, atmosphere is great, and the menu is to die for!
Must try!
There is amazing Lebanese food in Vancouver and this is it!!!!! Unbeilably tasty food, best meal Ive had in months. I loved everything about my experience, from the service to the ambience, but especially the food and dips. So much flavour! I cant wait to go back!
Amazing food and service! The cauliflower is delicious
I came to visit Vancouver and discovered this cute little restaurant next to my airbnb. Im a lebanese food lover and this one is in the top 3 ive tried ! Michelle was so kind to me and gave me such good recommendations. Since then I always order takout from there !
We found this place by wandering past and noticing a delicious scent and decided to try it the next evening. The decorations and interior are lovely, clean and welcoming. We were greeted and sat promptly and friendly and brought waters while we decided what to get. Our table of three ordered tried the mixed grill value feast with our choices of cold mezza as mutabbal and the Shanklish, the cold mezza sampler (choosing hummus, baba Ghannouj, and olives), and the hot mezza sampler and for drink the hibiscus cinnamon and the lemonade. The drink came promptly and the hibiscus cinnamon was freaking and warming at the same time without too much sweetness or floral notes, the lemonade was a perfect balance of sweet and tart. The food came out quicker than anticipated and from our first bite we were all blown away. The three of us expressed over and over how the baba Ghannouj, the Kafta, the Lahm mishwi, the labne that came with it and all the rest were the best any of us had ever tasted. I wish I could have eaten more and took almost every last leftover home for tomorrow. I would leave this as a seven out of five stars if I could. Absolutely phenomenal - will absolutely return, I will be recommending it to others as well. This place blows NUBA off the map.
We had the 3 different samplers and it was amazing. We had hummus, mutabbal, Baba Ghannouj, homemade Shanklish and a side of Mediterranean olives for Cold Mezzas. The cauliflower, Falafel, Halloumi fries, Kimberly, and fried potatoes for Hot Mezzas. The grilled Shish Tawouk, Kaftan, and Lahm Mishkwi. Three of us ate until we were full and took everything we had leftover home because it was all so good that we didnt want anything to go to waste. We will be back and I will be recommending this restaurant to all my friends. Vegetarian options: Many of the dishes are vegetarian and taste so good even the meat eaters wont miss the meat.
Must eat place in Vancouver. Food is amazing and cooked with love.
Come here you will not regret it. Food is fantastic, this is my go to spot for a delicious night out in the area. I really can t recommend it enough.
If you re looking for REAL Lebanese food, look no further! This place was amazing and had all the authentic Lebanese dishes I was craving. I got the Lahm Mishweh and the mixed cold mezza and it was absolutely fantastic. The hummus was smooth and delicious, the mtabal s notes of charred eggplant and creaminess was perfect, and the lahm mishweh was super tender and flavourful. Overall a great experience, it was practically like going to your grandparents house in Beirut. Highly highly highly recommend especially for fellow Lebanese folks looking to have some classic Lebanese food!
We killed the table. Ate so many things, I even forgot to make photos in the beginning. So here is whats left. Best Lebanese cuisine in Vancouver. Mohammed, the owner was very welcoming and made sure that we enjoyed our time. Vegetarian options: Many options for vegetarian, and some can be modified. Because I am vegetarian.
Best
False advertising, I tried to order a kafta plate from Uber eats and it says Comes with a choice of cold mezza dip and a choice of salad. then it gives no choice to choose salad, when I tried to add the side it charges me extra 12 dollars, that is a total of 38 dollars for a plate that is costing you 6 dollar in total. I won t go that far, you do your own cost control but please fix your description and let me know when you do so I change my comment and the world of mouth around my community. I called to genuinely explain and with all the audacity I was told yes, cabbage is your only choice and if you want other salads, there s is an extra charge . people are buying your food and is not a barber or car dealership!! let alone the pictures of the items had tabbouleh and Fattoush. Please check pics! Thanks Moe
The food is absolutely amazing! It is a must try for Vancouverites. We ordered three different dishes (for two) and the flavours and quantities were perfect. Order the cauliflower, it is to die for. We will return for sure!
Great food, service, and great place to get a more authentic taste of Lebanese cuisine. Been coming here for a long time and will continue.
One of the best meals I ever had in my life! Authentic Lebanese Cuisine.
Food is good. Gets busy at dinner, can be hard to get a table during peak dinner hours Food : 5/5
Great food and service, nice location with a covered patio.
Overpriced and small amount
Coming from a Lebanese whos always looking for good authentic lebanese food around the US and Canada, this place has great appetizers ( some core Lebanese appetizers are missing from the menu but maybe that would be developed later) As for the main dishes, i had the shish tawouk and was disappointed with the flavor of lamb or some other meat that was maybe cooked on the same grill? And gave it an odd flavor. Id recommend that Mazahr works more on the flavor ( marinade included )and presentation of their main dishes as their present appetizers are really on point. This place was recommended my Anthony Rahayel in his Youtube videos and thats why we came to try.
Great food!
This place was amazing. All the Lebanese traditional dishes and some more unique creative ones as well. My whole family loved it and we will definitely come back.
Food and service are great. Definitely would consider to visit again.
Amazing environment with delicious food made with back home touches and outstanding service.
Visited Vancouver and stopped by Mazahr - so good!
Very delicious
Super delicious Lebanese food, we ordered two lunches, one was broccoli and the other was lamb, both were very delicious. Although broccoli is a vegetarian dish, it can taste like meat, which is amazing. Lamb is the flavor of Middle Eastern cuisine, because lunch can be paired with two side dishes. We ordered hummus and eggplant. The two side dishes have different flavors, but they are both very delicious. Another lunch is served with fried potato diced and soup. The soup is pumpkin soup, which is also delicious, but the fried potato diced is just average. Let s eat their authentic Lebanese sauce. Will definitely come back to this restaurant and want to try other food.
Possibly the best Lebanese food Ive ever had.
Great, great, great food. Cooked well, tastes are all there, and its all presented very well. Service was good. At times, the server seemed a little too outspoken. Some comments made werent too funny, but I understand the trying. Lastly, the floor. It was a wet day, and its dangerously slippery. We had the lunch special with 2 sides. Falafel and the cauliflower. It was slightly expensive for price vs. portion given. Include breads... Dietary restrictions: Vegan friendly.
The Cauliflower is soooooo gooooood, we ordered the halloumi Cheese, Battatta Harra, and Prawns. OH MY GOD the flavours are exploding joy in my taste buds. So good
Every time I eat here I am surprised how tasty the food is. I know it is great which is why I come but it always beats my expectations. Love every dish Ive had thus far and the lemonade is delicious.
This is my go to middle eastern restaurant in Vancouver. 100% recommend.
The menu is a celebration of flavors. The mezze platter is a must-try, featuring an array of beautifully presented dishes that are perfect for sharing. Each bite is a burst of flavor, from the creamy hummus enriched with olive oil to the tangy and refreshing tabbouleh. The falafel is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served with a side of tahini sauce that complements it perfectly
Mazahr Lebanese Kitchen offers an authentic culinary journey into the heart of Lebanon. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, reminiscent of a traitional Lebanese home. The standout dish for me was the Shish Taouk - tender, marinated chicken skewers, bursting with flavor, served alongside perfectly seasoned rice. The Hummus was creamy and rich, a perfect complement to the warm, freshly baked pita bread. Each dish was beautifully presented, adding to the overall dining experience. The service was attentive and friendly, making the meal even more enjoyable. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
Excellent service and food. Seating was a little iffy, bench seats are too narrow so you feel like you are perching vs sitting for dinner. It was a beautiful evening yet you couldnt sit outside so it got pretty warm in the restaurant. Overall friendly staff and a tasty very reasonably priced meal. Thank you
food was too greasy and salty, the service made up for that though, really nice staff pretty place too Food
Mazahr Lebanese Kitchen impresses with its authentic and flavorful Lebanese cuisine. Nestled in a cozy, welcoming setting, the restaurant offers a culinary journey through the heart of Lebanon. The menu is a vibrant array oftraditional dishes, each prepared with a contemporary twist. Standout items include the succulent grilled meats, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the meze selection, which features an array of dips and breads bursting with fresh, aromatic flavors. The Fattoush salad, with its crisp vegetables and tangy dressing, is a refreshing complement to the richer dishes. Service at Mazahr is attentive and friendly, adding to the overall delightful dining experience. The restaurant also offers a selection of Lebanese wines, which pairs beautifully with the meals. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
First time here and I had the lunch special with baba ganouj and it was PHENOMENAL
We went to this place after seeing the reviews. The waitress didn t greet us and in addition she made us feel quite unwelcomed. After we sat she said there s 90min time limit. Well if you bring the food on time there should be no problem, it s not like you have a view or a nice atmosphere for us to want to hang around after we finish our food. Ridiculous! So We left without having any food which seemed from other patrons orders greasy and presented ugly with some store bought stale bread. Will not be back What happened to Vancouver btw? We came some 20 years ago and many lovely cafes and restaurants.
This restaurant is a hidden gem that offers a taste of true Lebanese hospitality. The homestyle food is incredible each dish, from the creamy hummus to the savory kibbeh, feels like a cherished family recipe. What makes this place special is the staff. Their genuine warmth and attentiveness made us feel like honored guests. If youre looking for amazing Lebanese cuisine served with heart, its a must-visit!
The restaurant is excellent, the reception and the generosity of the owner of the restaurant is clear in the hospitality, the food is wonderful, you feel that you are in Lebanon. The food is very wonderful, the hosts are very kind, and the generosity of the restaurant owner is clear. I am happy that I had my lunch at Mazhar Restaurant and I advise everyone to try it.
Delicious food. We always visit for lunch when shopping on South Granville. Highly recommended.
Amazing food best Lebanese food I have ever had. The waitresses was very kind and gifted us wonderful service. If you are in Vancouver I would recommend this restaurant 100%.
Friendly staff and good food. However, the place needs some improvement.
Amazing food and service. Highly recommend !
The place is beautiful, the service is great, and the atmosphere is intimate and family friendly with good reception The food is delicious, especially the cauliflower and shanklish, as well as the grills. The prices are very reasonable. I recommend visiting it. It requires advance reservation.
The cold mezza (muhammara, hummus) are delicious!! Would recommend 10/10
Went here for the first time since this was recommended to me by a coworker. The food was excellent. Everything was tasty and the staff were quite nice. Great atmosphere for catching up lively but not too loud so you can still have a conversation. Fairly busy at dinner so a reso would be a good idea. I look forward to trying them for lunch sometime.
Great food and the team is very hospitable. Highly recommended!
One of the best authentic Lebanees food in Vancouver. Very cozy place. The food and services are awesome. All staff are very professional. words are not enough about the deliciousness of the food. Keep it up Mazahr Food : 5/5
Amazing authentic food ! The batata harra reminded me of Beirut . And the cocktails are full of flavor
The place it s cute with a cover patio, waitress had the perfect interaction (we have found Canada waitressing to be a bit too much in the seek of tips ) but the girls was just perfect. Food was amazing and pretty much everything on the menu u is gluten free and/or vegetarian which made me (coealiac ) and my partner (vegetarian) very happy. We could eat this food every day Vegetarian options: Plenty of them Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian
Delicious food , famine sized portions
The food was definitely on point here. Hummus was delicious and the Kibbeh hit the mark. Surprisingly there arent that many actually good Lebanese restaurants in Vancouver. This one is a good one :)
Everything was absolutely top notch, from the service, ingredients, quality of food, vibe, and flavour. Tabbouli salad was divine and fresh and the lamb was juicy and flavourful. Would certainly return!
The most authentic Arabic food outside of Arabic countries in Canada. Perfect dishes and prices.
Food was good but the service needs time be improved. We waited long for the waiter to take order and for food to get ready.
Great service and really good food. Everything was super tasty.
Very unprofessional,
Authentic food and great service. Licked the plate clean !
Very cozy and friendly restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was great. The owner was very gracious and welcoming, this guy works hard to ensure the best possible dining experience. All around it was an excellent experience and I will definitely be going again.
This place has one of the best (if not the best) Lebanese food in Vancouver. We ve been regular customers for over 2 years and we were never disappointed. Excellent food, warm service and a great vibe. Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options and the staff is knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. They were very helpful catering for everyone s dietary s preferences. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly with high chairs available and a large space for the strollers.
Great authentic Lebanese food. Great service. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
This was the best Lebanese food we ve ever had! And the service was phenomenal - they were so sweet to our 11 month old and happy to accommodate us.
First time here, but well be back. Delicious food, good-sized portions, and a very attentive staff.
Been here multiple times in big groups and for smaller dinners. Really wonderful assortment of appetizers and bigger plates - makdous, halloumi fries, and shish tawouk are my favorites. Also recommend the mazahr tea! Vegetarian options: Most appies are vegetarian Dietary restrictions: Our server was able to recommend gluten-free and vegan options from the menu
Ive visited this place several times now, and each visit has been consistently outstanding. The service is impeccable, and the food is nothing short of exceptional. Every dish is seasoned to perfection, and the portion sizes are just right. Highly recommend
I have been to many different Lebanese restaurants in many different countries. This one stands out as not only the best Lebanese food I have had but one of the best meals I have had. The service was exceptional. The food was inspired. Truly great dining experience. The next time we visit Vancouver, we will definitely be coming back. I suggest anyone visiting Vancouver to visit this restaurant. I highly recommend the Kafta lunch meal with hummus. The chicken kebab were incredible as well. The baklava was the best I have ever had. All that being said, the owner was very kinda and helpful and gave a great dining experience.
Delicious, authentic, tasty food served family style. Get to taste a bit of everything. Finish it off with a Lebanese coffee.
Really delicious food, very impressed.
Everything was good
Most authentic Lebanese food in Vancouver. My top 3 in all cuisines. Youve gotta check out Mazahr for some seriously amazing Lebanese grub! Im still dreaming about the flavors bursting in every bite its like a party in your mouth! And let me tell you about Mr. Shadi and the crew theyre the friendliest bunch, making sure you feel right at home while you chow down on their delicious dishes. Dont even think twice Mazahr is where its at for mouthwatering Lebanese eats and top-notch hospitality!
Highly recommended ! I got Kafta : )
I had my birthday here yesterday for the second year in a row and the food is always absolutely delicious. I could bathe in the muhammara, everything Ive tried is flavourful and authentic. Not only is the food excellent, but the family who run this place are very friendly, social, attentive and welcoming. I live in Chilliwack and love coming here with my family when Im in town, I miss the flavours, spices and aromatics when I have to go back home. Highly recommend!
This is my go to spot for wonderful Mediterranean food! Their hummus cauliflower and savoury platters are legitimately the most flavourful in the city!
Everytime we go to Vancouver we stop by here! The lunch special is amazing.
Such an amazing welcoming people. Food was FANTASTIC, we got 4-5 different dish and all was so gewwd. We had tea at the end which was also great. Price is reasonable for this quality. Parking is a bit tricky as there is not enough spot around it snd they dont have dedicated parking.
By far the best Middle Eastern food in Vancouver! Been many times for lunch and dinner, both are great, but I recommend coming for lunch as their lunch specials are amazing! Service is always excellent, and food is always fresh and delicious!
Incredible food!!
I am Syrian and this is the best Arabic food in Vancouver
Went on a Wednesday at 530pm. It was nice and quiet, but it didnt take long to get busy at 630pm. Food was very fresh and tasty, service was excellent, staff were very friendly. Beautiful atmosphere and clean, highly recommend
Eaten here twice and the food is so good and authentic. If you re looking for a good representation of the cuisine of the Levant, this is where to go.
Enjoyed every bit of the food. The place is great, amazing service. Will definitely go back!
Love Mazahr! This sweet spot in the heart of Vancouver has many delicious vegan dishes and thats what I look for when Im out and about :) Staff are super friendly, the place is clean and has a great energy. I highly recommend it
Cozy atmosphere. Authentic and affordable Lebanese food. Excellent service and hospitality. Food : 5/5
This place will never disappoint you
Most delicious cauliflower appetizer I ve ever had!!!
Such incredible dishes. The fried cauliflower was the best Ive ever had! The owner, Mohammed, was so inviting and had a beautiful smile while telling us about the food. He loves his restaurant! Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious options. Dietary restrictions: They asked about any restrictions and would accommodate. Wheelchair accessibility: Street level with patio.
Amazing food! Loved every dish and cant wait to come back for more. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Awesome food, ambience and service. Thanks Mo!
A truly exceptional 5-star experience! If I could, I would give it 10 stars without hesitation. What began as a seemingly straightforward business lunch transformed into a delightful journey of gastronomic exploration, transporting me all the way to Lebanon. To merely describe the food as good would be an understatement; it left me truly speechless. Yet, the culinary delights were just one facet of the overall experience. Interacting with the owner and the staff was a genuine pleasure. Their honest and personable approach added an extra layer of warmth to the atmosphere. The attention they devoted to explaining the menu showcased a level of care that is often hard to come by. The overall ambiance of the place easily rivals the best Michelin-starred restaurants Ive had the pleasure of visiting in the past. Mazahrs restaurant has undoubtedly set a new standard for excellence in both cuisine and hospitality. Highly recommended!
Seriously delicious and like grandma made it. Simple and authentic. Will definitely be coming back for more. The only thing that would make it super super amazing is freshly baked pita right out of the oven
Gorgeous Lebanese cuisine! I was so impressed with how fresh and flavourful my meal was. Great location, atmosphere and of course incredible food. My server Sophia was attentive and patient and explained all the dishes to me. I was also introduced to the owner Mohammad. He too was lovely and is clearly a proud owner of this fantastic restaurant. I m very much looking forward to coming back! And thank you for the delicious food.
Good service, and ambience. Food was decent. Cauliflower was great. Shish twook was decent. Lamb could ve been better.
the sharing style dishes were incredibly and surprisingly yummy, one of the better meals in Vancouver! will be back soon
Nuba and Jamar move over
Went for lunch today. The food was delicious. I had the falafel platter and it was very filling. The service was amazing. Such attentive and warm staff. We will definitely be back.
Our favorite Lebanese place!
Delightful dinner with coworkers. Our manager pre-ordered dishes for 7 of us to share family style. The salads, meat and dips were so tasty, I appreciate how fresh the ingredients were and I love how Lebanese food combines flavours so wonderfully.
Delicious, and freshly made! My partner and I visited for the first time, coming from a middle eastern background... you have expectations, and Mazahr restaurants definitely met them.
A vibrant place for Mediterranean food.
Great restaurant with authentic Lebanese food.
One of the best middle eastern restaurants in Vancouver!!! You must try their mint mazahr tea and baklava Vegetarian options: Vegan friendly!
Nice and clean and the staff are professional
Amazing arabica restaurant
Food was good but the atmosphere in general wasn t cozy and inviting. It was too cold inside and the space was small and too loud.
Ordered delivery after finding their reviews were almost all 5 star. Mohammed was very helpful in determining the order. Must say his claim that the hummus would be better than most places was spot on , its the best. Everything ordered was #1 from Mutable to Grills. And the Felafel couldnt be better.
Another amazing dinner at Mazahr.
Service was impeccable. They truly know the meaning of hospitality. In my opinion, Mazahr is a much needed beacon of high quality, delicious Arab food in this city. Will definitely be back.
Mazahr made for a really special lunch, the atmosphere was so welcoming and relaxing, and the service was great. We had the lunch special which was an amazing fatteh, with labneh and hummus on the side, finished with the rice pudding which had a really wonderful almost floral taste. The Lebanese coffee is also really special, the cardamom warmed the soul. Can t wait to come back and try the dinner menu!
Loved it
Stumbled upon this gem while doing some shopping. Delicious authentic food! Would come back and recommend to friends and family
We grabbed some lunch takeout and were really impressed. Everything was really fresh with great flavor. We will definitely be back, next time to dine-in.
Amazing food. Loved how simple and tasty these dishes were. Can and will go back. The host was extremely kind, he understood it was our first time and took his time to explain the concept and guide as needed
My Egypatian friend introduced me to this place, and oh my GOD! The food was amazing Being a newly opened restaurant; they were already so organized and all of the staff were super friendly with my friend and I. We really enjoyed our food, and I will definitely be back soon.
I wish I could give this restaurant 6 stars. What a lovely evening at Mazahr. Food was perfect! Service was perfect! Ambience was perfect! Cauliflower was amazing! Cold mezza medley, also amazing! An utter delight!
Food was awesome and the kibbeh! Omg to die for nice and light. Cauliflower another standout dish. Basically everything was excellent! WishIlived closer but its worth a special trip.
Great food and great service with great atmosphere
Great food, we had the chicken platter with some sides and everything tasted amazing. Friendly service too.
Service was fantastic. Tabouleh that delights and perfectly moist falafel.
Mazahr is one of the best Lebanese cuisines in Vancouver. We had lentil soup, falafel and kafta platters with hummus, mutabbal, baba ghannouj, and muhammara on the side. Everything was absolutely delicious.
You won t find better service anywhere. This place feels overseas. Vegetarian options: Most menu items. Food : 5/5 |
The prices are right, yummy foods and the great services!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mazahr. The homely atmosphere instantly made me feel welcomed. The staffs warmth and friendliness added to the overall charm, making it more than just a meal but a heartfelt dining experience. If youre craving genuine home-style cooking in a cozy setting, Mazahris a definite go-to.
The food is delicious and has me continuously coming back for more. Healthy and rich in flavour, the platters leave you feeling extremely satisfied. You cannot go wrong with any of the main/side items. The staff is also very friendly, and the location is lovely. Keep up the amazing work Mazahr!
I visited Mazahr on Sunday, Dec 3 with a group of friends and our experience was exceptional. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. It was my first visit to this hidden gem, but will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
Always the best food and great service. My go to spot for Leventine Arab cuisine. Delicious authentic recipes! I love their atmosphere and the music. Don t think twice, just go try it out! Food
Fantastic cuisine, I ll definitely be coming back! Our server Sophia was perfectly attentive as well - thank you for a great experience!
We were in Vancouver and my friend wanted to have Lebanese food and she was on a Keto diet so I looked at options on google and we found Mazahr close by. We found the staff super friendly but the most amazing thing was the taste of Lebanon. Both of us miss the food of Beirut and wanted a delicious experience. 1- Tabouli salad, tastes great 2- Hummus was delicious 3- They have a great selection of vegetarian cold side-orders. They are so delicious that one can be full easily. 4- Lentil soup, just like home. Perfect texture and delicious. 5- I tried for the first time Halloum cheese grilled. Lets just say, if you feel like eating it with tabouli delicious no need for sauce. Then we get to the Protein...Ready? 6- Chicken pieces (Shish Tawook) My favorite, the flavor, the moisture of the chicken dip it with pita and their garlic sauce and go to another world of taste. (Can you tell its my favorite)? Even in Lebanon, I used to order Shish Tawook all the time. 7- The lahem platter (pieces of lamb) bbqs to perfection. You can eat it by itself and enjoy the authentic flavor. No need to add any sauces to the actual real taste of Beirut. What I recommend if you are hungry and between 2-3 people or more, order the mixed grill because you will get the best of all protein worlds. I would love to see more photos from customers. I will post some pictures of the experience. Vancouver, you are double and triple welcome. I cant wait to go back and order desserts. I was so full that I had to take some food back with me and ate it the next day and it was as delicious. Dietary restrictions: My friend was on a keto diet and she could order a lot of options. The waiter will be able to help with the restrictions. Vegetarians will find a lot of options.
My partner and I came here for a dinner and we were not disappointed. The food is so yummy, we ordered 3 cold mezza items which included hummus and babba ghannouj and the hot mezza sampler and it was all great. We also got baklava dessert. Highly recommend this place and for sure we will be back.
I took out the lunch Lebanese special. crispy pita chips on a bed of tahini, with chickpeas, pine nuts, and small pieces of meat (steak?). Cruncy and Delicious. The hummus was the absolute creamiest and tastiest Ive ever had, with a drizzling of healthy extra virgin olive oil, and the baba ganoush left me speechless. smoky, and full of flavour, without dairy or tahini. Absolutely delicious. Even beautiful to look at. Im coming back for more tomorrow :-)
First time having a Lebanese restaurant and would say it s a rly amazing experience! The foods are good, the staffs are nice and the atmosphere is perfect! The Lebanese coffee tastes rly different and nice, definitely worths a try. The staff or probably the owner (?) was rly friendly, spending time to explain the menu.
