Ive really enjoyed the flavours of a few dishes since Ive discovered this spot and happy to see that the recipes do not over salt! Very tasty, authentic and good quantity (fellow Asian leaving this review).

During the winter months, I would order WonTon soup with ginger when I was not feeling well, which helped me feel better. Recently, I ordered mixed vegetables and General Taos chicken. Both are really good. The following morning, at room temperature, I finished the rest of the mixed vegetables and what was left of the General Taos chicken. It was good.

First time try. Reasonably priced, portion size was generous. Delivered before expected--fresh, hot and delish! Pad thai, ss shrimp and rice. It will feed me 3 days. Online order stars reflect food and delivery

Tldr: They stole from Me. I ordered food from this place a little while back but they never made my order I went to the restaurant but they moved without changing their location on maps. After I explained my situation and that I wouldnt be able to pickup the food I was told Id get a refund. It never came so I called back twice to ask for it over the next couple weeks with. I never received a refund or my mean. I was robbed and never compensated afterwards.

You have to try this place

I ordered food here for the next day to be ready at 4pm. There was plenty of time slots available before 4pm. Which is confusing since they only opened the next day at 4pm. They emailed me an hour and a half before pick up time to say they were working on it. I got to the restaurant location for 4pm and they were just opening. They hadnt even actually started my order? Why did I get an email an hour and a half before saying it was in progress?? Also I could have selected it to be ready at 3pm and they wouldnt have even been open. Anyways I waited 23 minutes to pay full price for mediocre Chinese food. You would think that it would be ready at the pick up time, that was the whole point on selecting a pick up time slot. Theres other places around.

I have ordered a few times and a very kind gentleman has taken my order and has given me my order. Always pleased with the food. I m originally from Toronto and I miss my fave Chinese food places, but this serves as a great stand in.

Egg rolls are phenomenal, pretty much identical to the iconic Golden Palace ones. Jar Do Dry chicken wings are pretty good. They re huge and have a good crunch/crisp to it. Meat of it was a little dry/tough. I asked for a side of honey garlic sauce. They charged me extra for it even though the items below Jar Do Chicken wings come with it free of charge and are nearly the same price. So for this reason + the toughness of the chicken meat I docked a star.

Food is always hot and fresh. Staff is friendly. Delivery times are quick.

This was my first time ordering now that theyve moved from Orleans to Vanier. Was reasonably priced and certainly got value considering the large portion with the combination plate. Was pretty good and will order again.

Its a small takeout only spot, but the taste of the food and service from the people there is exceptionally good. The won ton soup is delicious!!!

Were excited Lius is in our neighbourhood and will be highly recommending to friends. Looking forward to trying more on their menu!

We are from out of town and wanted something delivered. This food was amazing, everything was still hot. Ordered online and delivered before expected delivery time. The gentleman that delivered was very friendly. I highly recommend for anyone not from around here!

I called and ordered the almond soo guy as I heard great things, was promised general Tao chicken also, but got some dry spare ribs. The almond sooo guy surpassed expectations, it was perfect!! The fried rice was amazing, Just wish the egg rolls came with a whole serving of plum sauce and not half a serving. Won ton soup broth was absolutely delicious, came with a big piece of pork and plenty of won tons, 5 star on that

I love your food so much that I regularly order delivery. However, I cant reach you by phone these days (I have tried for the last few days at all hours of the day, but the phone just rings and nobody answers), your website is down, UberEats and SkipTheDishes both say the restaurant is closed. Is this closure temporary, or permanent? Are you on vacation? I sure would be very sad if you are gone for good!

Food has been good, lots of veg, no issues there. However disorganization and late orders aren t worth the wait. Ordered online and they said they would start when I got there for my pick up time. Call in and don t order online as they serve walk ins before online orders

Make your belly happy - try the mo she - yummy thin pancakes with a smear of sweet hoisin magic and the most amazing thinly stir fried meat/veg or just veg. I m sad for people that only know Canadian asian food:..try this, its amazing. Ottawa needs a Mo She food truck..

I order from here almost weekly. I really enjoy their seafood dishes and their mapo tofu. The prices are affordable and the portion and food are great! Would recommend if youre a local!

Favorite Chinese in the city

This was the poorest quality Chinese food weve ever eaten. The Won Ton soup tasted like noodles sitting in water and not even any green onions, the spare ribs were overcooked and tough, the chicken balls were also very tough and not very tasty, the rice was clumpy and delivery was 1 hour and fifteen minutes. I dont want to repeat this experience.

My new favourite dish is General Taos tofu.....such a wonderful vegetarian option!

We used to love ordering from here, at least once every 1-2 months we would make an order for the family. Tonight, they have let us down immensely. We ordered and were told 1h40m wait. Understandable, it is new years eve, but we also put our order in early. Two hours later, they call to tell us it will be another 40 min. 3hrs for Chinese food takeout. Come on, thats unreasonable. What angered us more was that they waited so long to tell us how late they were running. We cancelled our order, and picked up pizza instead. They didnt care, and this will certainly be the last time we order. Food might be good, but service is lacking. There are plenty of chinese food restaurants in the area, and we will move on.

Great food

I ordered pad thai and was incredibly disappointed in the quality and flavour. it was extremely bland and the presentation sucked. I used to think they were the best chinese take out place but i have changed my mind. will not be ordering that again.

The first time we tried Lucky Seven everything was extremely bland/flavourless, garlic spare ribs were larger than expected and dry, dry, dry. The chop suey was super fresh though, but underseasoned like all the rest of our food. We thought wed give them another try in case the first time was a one off, it wasnt. Save the disappointment and splurge a lil more at another establishment.

This place has changed hands and is no longer Lucky 7. The nice family who ran it before is gone. The menu looks similar, but there are some harsh differences. For example...order some egg rolls, they dont come with plum sauce. Who does that? The General Taos chicken is nowhere the same quality as with the previous owners. It seems like it came directly out of a package, and there is no spice or heat at all. All in all, very disappointing. If you loved Lucky 7, you really need to avoid this place now.

Amazing customer service, the worker from that night was extremely efficient! After calling him to confirm my order from skip I had noticed that I made a mistake and he fixed it for me right away! Was very pleased with how easy and quick the entire process was! Food was absolutely delicious! Definitely ordering from here again!!!

Bland food. Lady told me that the kung pao tofu comes with rice then gave none. food is absolutely tasteless. Asked for hot sauce, she said it was in the bag - and spoiler alert, there was none. bad service and bad food.

Ordered Almond with mixed vegetables ding. I got onions with a few broccoli and even less carrots and Peppers AND one whole almond. 12 egg rolls are mushy, soft and soggy. Fried rice is OK. Food was always excellent when Lucky 7. Not going back.

Called tonight Oct 2, 2020 around 5:15 pm Young girl answered gave her my order for pick up. She keep yelling at me because I wanted to know the wait time and she said 25 minutes is that ok with you. I hung up she then called back yelling at me again asking me if I wanted to order. I ask to speak to her boss to let him know how rude she was with customer on the phone. But all she did was yell at me she then hung up on me. Terrible terrible manners.

New owners way better than the last one . They have combo that you pick your 2 mains with fried rice and egg roll,,they have a choice of 14 mains. All for 12..50. Its about time a restaurant does this,plus the portion are good and fresh .this is my new regular Chinese food take out.

Definitely the best Chinese place I ve ever had. Food can be accomdated to vegetarians, vegans, and for those with any allergies. Owners are super friendly and always big smiles. My favourite dishes and sides include the Cantonese chow mein, general tao chicken (all meat) and Szechuan spring rolls, they re a spicy roll with lots flavour. A must try! All my dishes have a good amount of meat, and delicious flavour. You can also ask for no added MSG. Another plus is the free stuff you get if you order over a certain amount!

This place was closed, today. I happened to try the door and it was open. They welcomed me and offered me a full menu of choices. Seems they were filling a special order. Super friendly, super fast, super delicious. They even taught me how to say thank you in Mandarin. Couldnt have had a better experience. Bravo!!

Awesome portions, delicious noodles. Plenty of meat, always a service with a smile, super accommodating, and meals are always ready fast. (Sometimes a little too fast give me a chance to throw clothes on before you tell me my foods ready!) Great service, even better food! Whenever I m in the Orleans area I always have to stop by and order a few of my favourites. The crispy beef is nice and crunchy but still soft on the inside. Chicken egg foo young is flavourful and drenched in a delicious gravy. My all time favourite are the Szechuan spring rolls, I can never get enough. It s filled with juicy minced beef and has a great kick to it.

I have been ordering from here for almost 10 years. We used to order from different restaurants in Orleans but when we started here we never changed again. Always fresh,tasty and the sweetest owners. What more can I say.

Got my order wrong couple times. Usually a hit or miss for me. Please hire someone that can speak fluent English. The food is the same as any other restaurant in Orleans. Not much better but the same. Just went here because it was the closest to my home.

No other place in Orleans does this so its a HUGE plus for me and I LOVE the vermicelli in the spring rolls, great add and Id never had them with that before. Portion sizes can t be beat, I feel like I have enough for for the next 3 days. Family run business and it;s a nice thing to see. My personal favourite.

Food had absolutely no taste. Eggrolls were dripping with grease. The only thing that had flavour to it was the sweet and sour chicken balls and couldnt eat them because I specifically requested not to have any sauce on them. Giving one star for fast delivery and food was hot.
