The worse pizza I ve ever eaten and I grew up in a pizzeria and made them since the 70s. How do people give this place a high rating. It was cold hardly any sauce, the dough seemed like it came from a freezer and it was tasteless. I ask for easy on the cheese and I don t think they put any cheese. Never again.

It is regrettable to write this review. Lorenzos has been my favorite pizza shop, but my recent experience has led me to reconsider future orders. I encountered an issue where I was double charged on my Visa, and it took over two weeks and lots of back and forth to receive a refund. Subsequently, when placing a new order, I politely requested a complimentary garlic dip as a gesture for the inconvenience caused by the delay in the refund process. Unfortunately, they were unable to accommodate this request. As a frequent customer, ordering from them 2 to 3 times a week, I find this to be a disappointing business decision. UPDATE ON RESPONSE: WOW. Talk about a twisted story. I never said I wasnt able to pay for the garlic dip (like mentioned previously, I order about twice a week) a 2$ dipping sauce? That wouldnt even make sense. Never once did you call, ive had to contact you every single time (even showing up in person to your location to provid proof) You guys held my money for 15 days and I came in to show you my receipts as well. You showed me that it didnt pass on your side, but it clearly did on mine. Bottom Iine, I decided to order from a another company once you werent able to throw in a garlic dip for our inconvience for holding our money for so long. Youve lost a loyal costumer and 4-5 family members of mine will not be ordering anymore due to this inconvenience. Way to go, lorenzos. A little customer service training would go a long way.

Love My small pizza its just great for one or two. What I love is its always absolutely cooked Golden perfect with the best tasting cheese but most of all the sauce is not over board to give you heart burn... No its just perfect and the cheese tastes perfect too!!

We were traveling and we are glad we stopped by Lorenzos. The greetings were amazing and the pizza was very good . Theres something about that crust All sauces where appropriated by hubby and my son. I personally didnt like the wings, some seasoning missing I would say. Beautiful family vibe, I strongly recommend it

Great food but when ordering through Uber Eats they can t seem to get the order right. I ve had missing or wrong items 5 of the last 5 times. It is frustrating. Thank you for your reply. I asked the Uber driver and he indicated that the two subs and salad was all that was given to him. We were missing a full sub. Not sure what has happened but I do appreciate your reaching out. Spoke to the manager and she explained what happened. I have been refunded for the missing item. Kudos to them for caring about their customers.

A hidden gem of our city. Lorenzos serves the best, thick, flavourful, crave-able pizza I have ever tasted. Abundant in toppings and made with love, this place will literally re-awaken a lost love for comfort food within your soul. Amazing Pizza, and Wings. Jalapeno poppers however; will cost you $14 for 5 pieces. Got a deal that fed 4 with leftovers, but they forgot the drinks and didnt resolve the issue. Nonetheless, will be ordering again (on a special occasion as its a bit pricey). To order or not to order? Definitely order.

We have been customers for a very long time at Lorenzos were pizzas were always the best i found them better than Louis wich have great pizzas themselves unfortunately the last one we got was terrible there was barely any toppings on it and the price they were asking for a medium ouch i know things of course have gone up in price but 31 dollars for a medium pizza that was comparable to a pizza from little ceasers i only hope that this was an off day for them as i will have to look somewhere else for my pizzas ( food )

Im a long-time patron of the Vanier Lorenzos, and have always found it very good to excellent. After a long time without having pizza, I ordered a large Chefs Special pizza yesterday (April 14/22) for pickup, and it was just excellent. Ready on time, loaded up nicely with toppings, etc. The staff appear to have changed since the last time I was there, and the new cashier was super-friendly, and so was the pizza chef.

Pizza was 1 hour late. Was cold and not fresh. Had mushrooms even after asked not to include because of allergy. Disappointed.

Hi bought pizza there tonight on November 26th 2022. Everyone was very nice, the soccer game was on, pleasant to just sit and chat with one of the delivery drivers that works there as well as see one who used to work there with the previous owner, the Arabic guy. I ordered the Lorenzos special pizza which is what I always get, if youve never tried it, its really yummy I think youd like it. Nice experience everyone was friendly and we talked about soccer, hockey and had some arm wrestles which were fun lol. Nice family business.

I have been a loyal customer of lorenzos pizza on Vanier, for a long time. I even would refer them. Last night was a nightmare. I was sent burnt pizza with no sauce on the pizza, at all! I have two small boys who are in bed by 8pm, and whom just came back from a long day outside. As soon as we realized there was no sauce, we called to let them know. It took 30 minutes before talking to the acting manager, he then argued with me saying there was no way there wasnt sauce on that pizza but that he would send me another pizza. I then explained that yes way there was no sauce... I told him that we had pieces left to show him but he refused to want to see it. Yes , my boys ate pieces because they were starving but I had to tell them to stop eating so I could show the pizza place. I had to feed them something else because it was bedtime soon! Then, the acting manager said that he would no longer send the pizza because I dared to disagreed that there was no sauce! Out of courtesy I phoned the owner today to explain the situation. I told him I wanted a refund. He said he wouldnt because we ate some of the pizza!! He then told me, he would send me a new pizza today instead. He was super rude, so i said no thank you! Im done here! Ive worked in the service industry in the past. I know the biz. This guy does not deserve my business anymore. I will definitely go somewhere else., and stop all referrals. This is an ongoing problem from what Ive read from the reviews here. One more loyal customer gone! Horrible experience. Especially with two small kids. My 7 year old knows whats up: he said that the pizza man money stole our money. Hes right about that!

Ordered spaghetti and meatballs last night with my friend and we both tossed it out after a couple bites. Pasta was soggy and mushy, meatballs were gross. Its a pitty because the garlic bread was amazing. Sauce was also tasteless. Definitely not getting pasta from there again, ill maybe try a pizza before writing these guys off completely.

While some items on the menu are perfectly acceptable, the quality as of late seems to have dropped. I ordered one of their Italian subs (the everyones favourite) and found that all the ingredients are just leftover pizza toppings, hardly any actual meat (aside from cubes of ham from the Hawaiian pies apparently), and no mayo on the bread but instead mashed in the middle to create a soggy mess on a stale bun, to boot. The whole thing was wrapped straight in tinfoil so it was super soggy all over the outside because of the poor assembly. Definitely do not recommend, very disappointing sandwich especially for the price point.

Have ordered from this pizza joint for years. Lately the quality and service has been less than satisfactory. Paid almost a hundred dollars this evening on pizza, ordered a vegetarian and when it arrived the order was incorrect. The owner did not offer to reimburse me nor replace the pizza with my correct order. Will never order from this place again

Acceptable pizza but nothing better. Crust was quite dry (over-cooked?). Toppings were otherwise good but sauce was plain.

One of my favourite places to order pizza from. Get a medium sized pizza; it comes with 3 drinks. Add chicken wings, their chicken wings are succulent... so much so that you will start licking your fingers and the leftover sauce. Hot flavour is the best Chicken wings. Dont forget to add a cheese slice to your order. Its just a cherry on the top.

Amazing pizza! We ordered two vegetarian pizzas last night for our event at Ecology Ottawa. Lorenzos were kind enough to donate it to our non-profit. Since we are a non-profit we dont give out tax receipts or anything, but Lorenzos didnt even ask for it :) Great management and really kind and caring staff! Definitely recommend. These guys clearly care about their customers! And pizza was A+

This is my go-to place for Pizza and I order way too much. I search for consistency above ALL else. I am a big pizza lover. Its nice to have a great service once, but when the next time you achieve half the standards, its a gigantic turnoff. The reason I go back to Lorenzos on MTL rd is because they are consistent. The prices are reasonable and the food quality (INGREDIENTS) are generally much better than most places. Comparing this to garbage like dominos and pizzapizza is for the uneducated masses - there is NO comparison. Uber and skip have TERRIBLE delivery drivers (incompetent, do not care) but Lorenzos has their own drivers who will not pull balancing acts with your food and hand you destroyed pizzas as they drive like maniacs and provide terrible customer service like skip/uber. Lorenzos drivers are great, have not had any issues at all (so happy about this; it seems small until you try to deal with skip/uber for pizza delivery) and I order way too much, so I speak from experience here... Extra cheese please!

We moved to Ottawa 4 months ago. This is the only restaurant that we buy burgers and pizza from after trying many places. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and polite. They deliver fast. Never had any issues with anything we have tried so far. They even know who we are when we call. A must try!

Had the lasagna, it s not good, I do not recommend it. It s basically overcooked noodles which are like mush. The meat in the sauce is non existent. The tomato sauce is very acidic and way too much oregano. The garlic bread is a soggy undercooked sub bun.

Amazing pizza, personally im im a huge fan of their their poutine, it has the best cheese with lots of gravy.. I always end up buying it at least once a week.. the fries are unbelievably crispy and crunchy. The cheese is schechy, melty and stringy. Thee gravey is meaty and whole..all for the price, you get way an A class poutine and way more than you paid for. The owners are seem to be icncredibly kind people too

My wife and I have been regular customers of Lorenzos pizza for some time now, sometimes ordering once or twice per week. While my wife was dairy free we even brought in vegan cheese that they used to make the pizza for us. They have been very fair in this regard. Today, my wife ordered a pizza for delivery and when the pizza arrived, the pizza and toppings were squished to one corner of the box. After I called the store myself, the man on the phone said he would send a new pizza. I offered to send him a picture but he declined, saying to show the delivery man the pizza. A short time later, the buzzer rang and I ran down the stairs to greet the delivery man. Hes an older man and my worry about the first pizza was that perhaps trying to carry the pizza up five flights of stairs is how the first pizza got messed up. If I open the front door for him instead of buzzing, he wouldnt have to carry the new pizza. I explained to him that my wife wasnt happy with the condition of the last delivery. He stated that the delivery is the same every time, showing me the pizza in the box, and left saying that its not his fault. Once I arrived back upstairs and checked my cellphone, I saw 5 missed calls on my phone from the store. I called back immediately hoping to inform them that the new pizza was perfect and that there were no problems. Instead, the man on the phone was rude and never let me get a word in or explain the situation. He told me that the pizza delivery man said I had refused to let him see the pizza and that I had thrown it into the garbage. This was a flat out lie because the pizza was still sitting on my counter, untouched since its delivery and I never declined to let him see it. And thats when I heard it. The last time my wife and I were eating in the restaurant we heard an unhappy customer on the phone being told almost the exact same things I was being told on the phone. The man on the phone proceeded to tell me that the situation was suspicious and I fire people over this and stated that he doesnt trust me. Apparently I was supposed to show the delivery man his mistake, even though he never bothered to ask about it and he left in haste. Thats when my wife and I realised that weve heard it all before from the same man on the phone about the exact same delivery person in a very similar scenario. In Lorenzos world, unhappy customers are suspicious liers and Im going to assume that hes never fired a single delivery person over a call from an unhappy recipient of his pizzas even though thats what he tell his unhappy customers. Without letting me explain or say anything at all, he hung up the phone on me. This is where my wife and I draw the line. If youre going to call your customers liers, yell at them on the phone with a script youve written to blow them off, were going to write a bad review and were going to find a new pizza place. So heres a photo of the first pizza, untouched and not in the garbage, squished into a corner of the box. Im also going to note that you can see its burnt on one side so maybe they just suck at making pizza. Any review that says the delivery man is a lier is 100% accurate and I doubt anyone is trying to scam Lorenzos.

Pizza is very good, well cooked, generous toppings, but the real steal here is their chicken Parmesan. Huge serving, and delicious. Also, everyone who answers the phone is so friendly and the delivery person always very nice. Love this place!

Consistently good takeout or delivery pizza. If you like a classic, no nonsense pie, this is the place for you. Thin crust wood burning oven its not, but you will get fresh dough piled high with tasty ingredients, just like you (or your folks) drooled over in the 70s. You wont go back to Pizza Pizza or Dominos once you taste this.

Couple of our local pizza places closed down last year here in the market (Sopranos & Dominos ) and been looking for a decent pie place. Saw Lorenzos on my way to the grocery store so called and ordered a pie to go to grab on my way back home. OMG! Want to talk about amazing pizza?! Crust? Perfect! Not too thin or thick (who likes doughy crust? ). Loaded with toppings and cooked to perfection! Amazing pizza and will be ordering from them from now on!

Solid pizza spot. Have ordered from here 4-5 times and most recently had a thin crust medium pizza with the wings (pictured below). Love the toppings placed under the cheese. Perfectly cooked. Only other place that can compete with Cumberland pizza in my opinion.

Unfortunately ordered a donair and it s not a donair. The sauce was made of ranch dressing. The meat was good but only two small slices. This would not feed a adult and i m only 110lbs lol so when i say it wouldn t fill me...i did call to tell them and the customer service was good so it s unfortunate the meal was not as we had to reorder supper somewhere else :(

I will start off with the service; These guys are amazing. Always deal with the same guy late at night, very friendly on the phone and in person.One time I paid with a $50 and was given change for a $20 but didnt even realize. Next time I was in, he rememberd me, told me and gave me the difference on the spot. Another time I was an hour late picking up my order and phone had died so he couldnt reach me. Ended up giving the pizza to a girl that worked there and wanted to give me 50% off because I had to wait for my order (even though it was 100% my fault) Tried pizza and other items, all great but Pizza is my favourite in the city so far.
