I wouldn t call this tacos. Dry, no taste and the sauce was 99% water

Ordered the shrimp mac and cheese, and parm fries off Uber with my bf. I dont know how to explain the taste of it, but it just tasted off. My bf said the Mac tasted like butane. The menu sounded good, but I would never eat here again.

I had the bulgogi mac and cheese and my husband had the beef birria tacos. Service was great and fairly quick. It Id an odd place in that they serve Mexican ,Indian food and bagels lol. My only complaint is that it was served in plastic to go containers withwooden cutlery. Real silverware would have improved the experience greatly. But I really loved the food. Portions were large. meal!!

Best Mac & Cheese I ve had in Ottawa! Had the pleasure of trying the Birria mac, Popcorn shrimp mac and Tandoori mac - all 10/10 and very flavourful. Portions are generous and filling. The beef birria tacos were also very tasty. Ottawa hidden gem!

After hours has the best Mac and cheese platter I ve ever had in my life. I ordered off of Uber and even after coming all the way to centre town it was INCREDIBLE. 10/10, 5 Star , would recommend!

The food portions were too small, the food was really salty, the tacos were unflavored, we ordered 5 items, waited 30 minutes before the 1st item showed up and every 15 minutes would bring one more item, the food was microwaved, it wouldve been cheaper for me to buy frozen dinner and microwaved it myself instead of me spending over $120, its highway robbery, Also had people with me from Toronto, and it was embarrassing taking them here

Absolutely disappointing. As a business owner myself I ve never seen a business respond to negative reviews with no solution or care in the world about your experience. Overpriced , fist sized portions and poor service.

Visited Ottawa and was recommended this spot, very glad I tried it! Halal menu, which was amazing to hear since I ve been wanting to try this style of tacos for a while. The beef tacos were delicious, they re very generous with the portions in these. I also tried the chicken parm sandwich which i ended up going back for before leaving Ottawa. I will be trying more off the menu my next visit and would definitely recommend trying this place out!

I ordered After Hours catering for an event and the food was incredible - everyone loved it and it was all completely devoured. The tacos, salads and mac and cheese were flavourful and delicious. Their service is also impeccable! I cant recommend this spot enough!

Amazing service from after hours! They catered for my birthday event and it was such an easy process, and they communicated with me very well. Food was ready for pick on time. I would definitely recommend them to cater for your event!

Our wings shipped without the veggies and the taquitos without the salsa verde. The food tasted fine but taquitos without salsa is an incomplete meal. That was yesterday via UE. Not impressed tbh

Great halal food, not a lot of seating space and a bit on the pricy side, but its still nice and worth a visit. We got beef and veggie birria tacos, and boneless chicken mac and cheese. The birria tacos were great, Ive never had it before and I think Ill definitely be keeping an eye out! The mac and cheese was good, but the boneless chicken on top really made it great, and the cheesy garlic bread definitely took it over the top. Next time I go Ill have to try out some of their other menus! Dietary restrictions: Halal and vegetarian options available

1) The prices are atrocious, anyone wishing can come here 2) the portion sizes are stingy 3) They sell alcohol with halal items, which makes no sense 4) my friend I had to wait 30 minutes for my order. 5) they blasting music in the restaurant which is so annoying

The Mac and cheese is amazing, no matter what toppings you choose, and I recommend getting the cheesy garlic bread added as well. Furthermore the tacos are great and service is excellent, kitchen staff always up for a nice chat (when its not crazy busy). Food

Best tacos outside Mexico!!!

Stumbled upon this hidden gem of when visiting Cadmans. We ordered the chicken birria tacos and they were absolutely phenomenal! Went back less then a week later to order them again and decided to also try the chicken taquitos. Both dishes did not disappoint! They were sooo flavorful! The staff is also excellent, friendly and welcoming! If youre craving some delicious mexican food, this is a MUST TRY!!

The food isn t bad, but I recently ordered a Mac and cheese with honey garlic chicken bites but it did NOT taste like honey garlic at all. I would describe the taste as very salty soy sauce chicken which isn t even on the menu! I had to double check my recipe to make sure I didn t make a mistake. This was very disappointing since the food is pretty expensive and I did not get what I paid for. They should probably review the honey garlic sauce they use because the taste is not at all accurate. Had to throw away the chicken since it was way too salty to eat

I would absolutely recommend this place. The vegetarian birria tacos (mushrooms and eggplant) with guac were delicious. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. No complaints, it was a great experience. We will be back. Vegetarian options: They had both a vegetarian and a vegan option for the birria tacos. Absolutely delicious, it was a mushroom and eggplant base.

They did just that and more, really made our night! Food was good! Nailed it. What you expect from a food truck in Venice Beach but in Vanier I thought price was a little high for takeout. Didn t get completely full for an $18 meal. However, after enjoying the meal and contrasting that Boston pizza sells tacos with no seasoning for the same price, these are 10-fold better. If I had a dine in experience my comment about price would be different Overall: flavourful and unique food that really pleasures your late night cravings and good to see local family businesses thriving during these times

The restaurant has very friendly staff, with punctual timings and consistent preparation. We saw them making tacos while we were waiting. They all were done as if they were made by a machine. Bought the vegetarian one. It was delicious. Will certainly go back sha and try other kinds.

After Hours was everything we were waiting for. A place for halal AND vegan options. The food was delicious, fresh, and made the 30 minute drive totally worth it. Their date night package was such a nice touch. Definitely added to one of our favourite places to eat in Ottawa.

After hours ticks every box: so fresh, very clean and they have an amazing selection that is rare in Ottawa. The birria tacos were absolutely perfect, Ive never had a corn tortilla quite like that before. I also personally fell in love with the hot honey wings, will be coming back for more very soon!

Friendly staff. We enjoyed our meal from After Hours. The vegetarian tacos were the highlight of our dinner; they were super flavourful - the tortilla and coleslaw are freshly made. The mac and cheese (chicken & cajun shrimps) were creamy and cheesy, but there is an intense smokey flavour, and for us, it got overwhelming after a few bites. I recommend trying this local restaurant.

I kept seeing their birria tacos on instagram and decided to come try. I got the beef and chicken birria tacos and the mac and cheese. Unfortunately we only got to try the beef as they mixed up our order. The beef tacos were juicy and the side slaw s complimented the flavours really well. Mac and cheese wasn t as good sadly; it lacked flavour and salt overall.

Would 10/10 recommend. I ve shared this place with all my family and friends and they have shared with theirs. I had already been a huge fan and wanted to share my wonderful experience when it came to my fiancé s tropical theme birthday this past weekend. I was coordinating with their team for weeks prior to organize catering for the party. They were so quick to respond and very willing although they hadn t done catering before. They had gone above and beyond. Highlight of the party! We had 4 platters of Mac and cheese with different toppings. 3 pounds of wings different flavours. Lots of the delicious garlic bread. Fresh tortilla chips and guacamole. Can t forget their mouth watering tacos we had lots of those! The day before they had recommended their Mexican street corn salad that really brought some light freshness to the spread! Everyone loved every bit of the delicious spread they had put together. The edible flours they used to garnish fell right into the tropical theme. I appreciate the great execution of the vision we had put together. Will definitely do it again for any events. Service is awesome on Instagram! The person my family and I communicate with is always so kind when taking our order. The food is halal and quite delicious. The order is a bit small in my opinion, but regardless we have ordered here at least once a month since their opening (sometimes more), and will continue to support this small business mostly because of the great customer service. We decided to cater a small get together for my daughters high school graduation at After Hours Ottawa and dont regret a thing. Alysha was really awesome. We had no idea where to start but she helped us make some choices and suggested things based on what we like and dont like. She was extremely professional and so pleasant to work with. The order went smoothly. We then picked up the food and all was ready on time. We decided to go with several wraps and mini sandwiches all of which were very delicious. The platters were generous in portions. The corn salad was superb. Mac n Cheese awesome. Everything was great and lots of leftovers too! Overall, i would definitely recommend a sit-down with Alysha anytime. She can plan it all for you and make it happen. The food will be awesome for sure. I ve been coming to this ghost kitchen since it first started up. My go-to is the chicken or beef birria tacos, which i recommend to everyone! I have tried the mac and cheese and wouldn t get it again, it was pretty bland. Sometimes there s a short wait upon pick up, but it s worth it. I will continue to support as long as it s running. I enjoy their 2 for 1 deals and date night packages. they also fundraise & support other local businesses

Wow. This meal. I can t speak for dine-in but I ordered After Hours via Uber Eats for dinner and I am so impressed. I order delivery up to 5x weekly and after 3-4 years of being a customer and ordering in many major cities in Canada, this was a Top 5 meal of mine! Ordered Chicken Birria Tacos and Macaroni and Cheese. Delicious. Wow. Woooow. Didn t have time to take photos, food did not survive long enough. I know now to visit them on my next trip to Ottawa!

Some of the best tacos Ive ever had. Ive been ordering from After Hours since they opened, and the food is fantastic. There was one time when they had a 2 for 1 special, and I really only wanted 1 order so I asked them to give the second one to someone in need. They included a flower with my order and a nice note, which I thought was very nice and thoughtful. That goes to show how great their service truly is. Overall a 10/10 place and because this is a pop-up I hope they end up being a permanent spot in Ottawa.

I tried After Hours on my visit to Ottawa last weekend. Tried the Birria Tacos and I just want to go back to Ottawa to try the other menu items! Pretty nuts that After Hours is still a hidden gem.. just need to convince the owner to open a Toronto location now!
